Chapter 6; The Branch of Birthright Summoners

After finally reaching the battlefield, the same one from her dream. Corrin saw both sides of Corrin siblings fighting. "Stop! Stop! Stop!" Corrin yelled as she ran up to them. Xander looked at her and said. "Corrin, you're alive! They haven't harmed you have they?"

"I'm fine, Xander. But… Why are you invading Hoshido?!"

"Father says it's time to show our true strength. Join us, and we'll end this quickly. If we conquer Hoshido here and now, we can avoid unnecessary bloodshed."

"Xander…" Corrin said as she stepped away from him. Before Corrin could say anything, Ryoma stepped forward and said. "Be careful, Corrin. That man is a Nohrian commander!"

"Ryoma…" Corrin said, looking at her brothers. Then the Nohr siblings started to talk to Corrin. "Corrin! I was so worried about you. Don't ever wander away from me again!" Camilla said before Leo said. "I'm glad you're OK, Corrin. You must have the devil's own luck!"

"Yaaay! We got our sister back!" Elise said really happy. But that's when Hinoka, who was mad, then said to the Nohr royal family. "Nohrian scum! First you kidnapped her, now you lie to her?! Corrin is MY sister, not yours!"

"You are mistaken. Corrin is my sweet little sister. You may not have her." Camilla said as both sides got closer to Corrin. Ryoma then said to Corrin. "Don't be fooled by their words. You belong with your true family in Hoshido!"

"We have loved you and raised you since you were a child. Come home, little princess. We can live as a family once more." Xander said to Corrin. Before she could speak, Ryoma yelled at her. "Come home to Hoshido, Corrin!"

"No, Corrin! Nohr is your home!" Xander said as she started to freak out. "This way." Ryoma said, extending his hand to Corrin and then Sakura looked at Corrin and said. "B-Big sister?"

"She's my sister." Elise said before Xander said, extending his hand to Corrin. "We're your family." Corrin was now stuck in the middle of her two families and could not handle it. Gavin pulled her away, knowing that they were waiting for Corrin's choice and turned her to him. He calmed her down and said making sure she looked at him. "Corrin, look at me. You need to make a choice."

"How can I? This is an impossible choice."

"Buy doing what your heart is telling you."

"My heart?"

"Your heart will tell you where you want to go. And don't worry, no matter what choice you make, I will be by your side. Support you no matter what happens. I promise." Gavin said and then the energy that turned Azura into Waves appeared again. It touched Corrin and a deck appeared in her right hand. Corrin looked at it and could tell that it was the choice she wanted to make. Corrin closed her eyes and turned back to her siblings. Corrin walked up to Xander and said, drawing Yato. "Xander. Withdraw your troops."

"Corrin… Don't tell me you're siding with Hoshido."

"I'm afraid so. I've made up my mind. I stand with Hoshido."

"I feared the Hoshidans might try to brainwash you. I am well aware of your Hoshidan lineage. It is true that we lack common blood. But still, we've treated you as kin since the very day you arrived in Nohr. No matter what anyone says, you are my sister, Corrin. I know that Camilla, Leo, and Elise feel the same way. And Father will forgive you. I know it. You are of Nohr! Return to us, Corrin!"

"I'm sorry. I can't go back. King Garon is a coward and a liar. I've witnessed enough of his destruction. Causing an explosion in a crowded city center with no regard for innocent life… That's the action of a madman." Corrin then remembered the last moment with Mikoto. She then said to Xander. "Tell me. If King Garon thinks of me as family how could he have orchestrated this attack? I could have easily been killed along with Queen Mikoto. The truth is that I was just a pawn. Collateral damage. King Garon was willing to sacrifice my life in pursuit of his agenda. Face it, Xander. Garon is no longer human. He's pure evil."

"Father… evil? How could you say that, little princess?"

"Xander, please… Join me! Join me and help put an end to his cruelty!"

"Corrin…" Xander said before attacking Corrin. Corrin blocked the attack, but could tell Xander was holding back. "There's my answer, traitor." Xander said, stepping away from Corrin. Corrin looked at Xander and said. "Traitor? Brother, wait!"

"Enough. I never thought you would turn your back on your kingdom and your family. Your betrayal will not be forgiven. You want to side with Hoshido? Fine. Over my dead body!" Xander said before he attacked Corrin with his full power. Corrin tried to fight back, but Xander was not holding back and overpowered Corrin. When Corrin fell to the ground, Xander said to her. "You have been deceived, Sister. They've clearly brainwashed you. I will not rest until I've returned you to your senses. Get up! Get up and return to Nohr with me. Surely there's some part of you that still remembers your true family."

"Brother, my mind is made up." Corrin said as she got up. Xander didn't want to hear that, because that meant Corrin was a traitor and traitors were killed on sight by Garon order. "Just try it, Nohrian scum." Ryoma said as he appeared and fought off Xander. Xander was so focused on Corrin, that he barely stopped the damage. Xander stepped back and Corrin said to Ryoma as she got up. "Ryoma! Please, we can settle this peacefully."

"What's wrong, Corrin? Lost your focus? Tossing your sword aside and dying a martyr won't do us any good." Ryoma said before Xander said to Ryoma. "Fiend! If you seek to take my sister from me. I won't go easy on you."

"Oh, why don't you spare ME the chit chat? Shut up and attack, if you dare!"

"A splendid idea. I've yearned to introduce you to a dear friend of mine, the dark blade Siegfried!"

"Stop it!" Corrin said as she pulled out her deck, which was silver with the image of a light yellow wolf head. "Henshin!" Corrin said as the belt appeared and she put the deck inside. When she started to transform, the force of it sent Xander and the other Nohr royal's away from them. Everyone looked at Corrin's Summoner form. Corrin was now wearing silver spandex under yellow samurai theme chest plate, gauntlets, shoulder and boots. And her helmet was yellow with dragon horns, mouth and her eye holes were silver. Xander then said as he and the others got up. "What did you just do Corrin?"

"She has become Summoner Dawn, the leader for the Birthright Summoners." A woman's voice said and everyone turned to the owner, who was that same woman in purple armor that spied on Corrin, but her second color was now pure black. The purple lady appeared next to Xander and the others and Xander said to her. "Who are you?" She turned to them and showed them her face, but it was only the Nohr royal family that saw her face. That face caused everyone to be surprised, and she then said to Corrin, now Dawn, without turning around. "I regret the choice that was made here today."

"What do you mean?" Dawn said to the purple lady. The purple lady, whose back was still turned away from them, then pulled a deck box, which was purple and had the image of a solar eclipse. "Henshin." The purple lady said as she transformed into a Summoner too. The purple lady form was like Dawn's, but the silver was replaced with dark purple, the yellow was replaced with midnight black, and the helmet was nothing but the image of a solar eclipse. The purple lady then turned around and said to Dawn as a staff with the top having a solar eclipse appeared in her hand. "I am Summoner Eclipse, and I will take you, G-Wing, and Waves to Nohr."

"No you are not!" Gavin said as he and Azura pulled out their deck. "Henshin!" Both Gavin and Azura said before they turned into G-Wing and Waves. And G-Wing's helmet was now in the shape of a samurai helmet, but the eye holes were the same. Eclipse laughed and pulled out two cards. She then put them into the staff. "Summon Tri-Ant, Copy." Then out of Eclipse shadow and giant red ant with three heads appeared, but not just one, but a second one as well. Eclipse then said to the ants. "Deal with the other two. I'll handle Dawn."

"Are you going to kill her?" Xander said to Eclipse, who laughed then said. "No, but please kill the Hoshido royal family, they are the reason for all of this and many more heartache ahead."

"I won't let you!" Dawn said as she attacked Eclipse with Yato. Eclipse blocked her attack with her staff and they went somewhere else on the battlefield. "Good luck Ryoma." G-Wing said as he and Waves drew the Tri-Ants away from everyone.

As the royal's fought their respective counterparts, with Camilla and Hinoka protecting Elise and Sakura. G-Wing and Waves were running from the Tri-Ant's as they chased after them. Once they were away from everyone, G-Wing said to Waves, as he pulled out Goldwing. "I think it's safe to summon them now."

"Yeah, let's finish these before helping Corrin." Waves said before pulling out her own Calling Card. "Summon Goldwing! Summon Stormsong!" G-Wing's griffin head and Waves fin said before Goldwing and a dark blue sea dragon that had white lines from a music sheet appeared. The Tri-Ant's then attacked Goldwing and Stromsong, with G-wing and Waves trying not to get stepped on.

Elsewhere Dawn faced Eclipse, and Eclipse was winning. Every time Dawn tried to attack Eclipse. Eclipse would either dodge or counter each one of Dawn's attacks. It was like Eclipse was reading Dawn's mind. "Summon Electric." Eclipse's staff said as it gained an electric effect. After Eclipse landed a few blows, Dawn started to feel weak. But before Eclipse dealt the finishing blow, a knife hit Eclipse staff, causing it to be sent flying out of her hands. Dawn and Eclipse turned and saw Jakob had joined them. Jakob then healed Dawn and said. "Pardon me, Lady Corrin. It took me a while to track you down."

"Jakob? How did you know it was me? And where have you been?" Dawn said as Eclipse jumped away and grabbed her staff. Jakob then said to her as he healed her. "I saw you transformed, and I've been searching for you this whole time. I apologize for leaving your side for such a long time. But I am here now, and I'll stand by your side."

"Another soul you will lead to death." Eclipse said before pulling out another card. "Summon Eclipse Scythe." Then her staff then lost the electric effect and turned into a scythe, with the blade coming out of the solar eclipse. Dawn then pulled out her Strike Card from her deck, but didn't know where to put it, until Yato opened and revealed a spot for a card. Dawn didn't know if it was part of Yato or if it just got added. But she didn't have time to think about it, and put the card into the slot. "Summon Dragon Claw." Yato said, and in a flash, her left hand was encased in a gauntlet that had three blades shaped like claws. Eclipse and Dawn then attacked one another

Back with G-Wing and Waves. Goldwing and Stromsong were able to hurt the Tri-Ants, but were hurt too. G-Wing and Waves dodged the battle, but as Goldwing and Stromsong started to disappear, the Tri-Ants were still there. G-Wing said to Waves. "I don't know what is with those ants, but we are running low on time."

"Yeah. Let's do this." Waves said as she and G-Wing pulled out their Final Attack Cards. "Final Attack!" G-Wing's griffin head and Waves fin said before they and their beast did their finisher. G-Wing and Goldwing's were the same and destroyed the first Tri-Ant. As for Waves, Stromsong roared at Tri-Ant, trapping it with five lines. Stormsong then used its tail to raise Waves to the lines. Waves then kicked each line in different spots, creating a melody. As the Tri-Ant started to shake. Stromsong wrapped around her, like it was protecting her. Which it did when the Tri-Ant exploded. Once the explosions stopped, G-Wing and Waves then joined up with the Hoshido royals and pushed back the Nohr royals.

As for Dawn and Jakob, it was finally a far fight. While Eclipse was still able to see Dawn attack coming. But she wasn't able to see Jakob's attack coming. That caused her some damage, but not very much. However, that all changed when G-Wing and Waves destroyed the Tri-Ants. It caused some kind of shockwaves that caused Eclipse to drop her staff and shake in pain. Dawn and Jakob saw that and Jakob said to Dawn. "My lady? What is going on?"

"I don't know, but you better get back. I don't know how powerful this attack will be." Dawn said as she pulled out her Calling Card and Final Attack Card. "Summon Bolfgon!" Yato said and out of Dawn shadow was a dragon with a wolf head and had a combination of silver scales and yellow fur, with its eye color per white. "Summon Final Attack!" Yato said as Dawn and Bolfgon jumped into the air. In the air, Dawn did a kick going down at Eclipse and Bolfgon breathe gold fire on to Dawn, encasing her as she dived at Eclipse. Eclipse was able to recover and grabbed her staff and her Guard Card. "Summon Orbit Shield." Then a big circle appeared that looked solar eclipse floated around Eclipse. The shield blocked the Final Attack, but the force pushed the shield into Eclipse and the gold flame went from Dawn to Eclipse. As Dawn landed Eclipse was sent flying, and Eclipse down for the count.

Eclipse, who was still in her Summoner Form, looked around and saw that Hoshido had won the battle, with G-Wing and Waves pushing the royal family back. "You may have won this battle, Summoner Dawn. But this is only the beginning." Eclipse said before she pulled out a card and put it into her staff. "Summon Escape." The staff said before Eclipse and the whole Nohr army, plus the Royal Family disappeared through a portal. Dawn returned to normal, and said looking at the battlefield. "Is this really our future? A lifetime of conflict with Nohr?"

"Corrin… I can understand why you are reluctant to fight. If it would make you feel better, you can leave the fighting to me, Gavin, and Ryoma." Waves said as she also returned to normal. G-Wing also returned to normal and said. "Yeah, you don't have to do this."

"No. Burying my head in the sand won't change the reality of the situation. I will stand with you both. And the rest of Hoshido. I know this is the right choice. Even if it's the hardest one I've ever had to make. I have to believe this is the path that will eventually lead to peace." Corrin said and they understood Corrin's feelings. Corrin and the others then returned to Hoshido, because like Eclipse said, this was only the beginning.

And done, Now here is some info. Eclipse was using Effect Cards, cards that add an effect to something. And for Corrin Deck Beast. It's name is a combination of Birthright, wolf, and dragon. The "B" is from Birthright, the "olf" is from wolf, and the "gon" is from dragon. That's why its name is Bolfgon. Now for the last piece of info. I am not using any of the Paralogues. Now before you get mad, I am not doing that because every non Rider character will almost take a back seat, so I don't want to write a whole chapter for a character that will be lost in the background.
