Chapter 6; The Branch of Conquest Summoners

After finally reaching the battlefield, the same one from her dream. Corrin saw both sides of Corrin siblings fighting. "Stop! Stop! Stop!" Corrin yelled as she ran up to them. Xander looked at her and said. "Corrin, you're alive! They haven't harmed you have they?"

"I'm fine, Xander. But… Why are you invading Hoshido?!"

"Father says it's time to show our true strength. Join us, and we'll end this quickly. If we conquer Hoshido here and now, we can avoid unnecessary bloodshed."

"Xander…" Corrin said as she stepped away from him. Before Corrin could say anything, Ryoma stepped forward and said. "Be careful, Corrin. That man is a Nohrian commander!"

"Ryoma…" Corrin said, looking at her brothers. Then the Nohr siblings started to talk to Corrin. "Corrin! I was so worried about you. Don't ever wander away from me again!" Camilla said before Leo said. "I'm glad you're OK, Corrin. You must have the devil's own luck!"

"Yaaay! We got our sister back!" Elise said really happy. But that's when Hinoka, who was mad, then said to the Nohr royal family. "Nohrian scum! First you kidnapped her, now you lie to her?! Corrin is MY sister, not yours!"

"You are mistaken. Corrin is my sweet little sister. You may not have her." Camilla said as both sides got closer to Corrin. Ryoma then said to Corrin. "Don't be fooled by their words. You belong with your true family in Hoshido!"

"We have loved you and raised you since you were a child. Come home, little princess. We can live as a family once more." Xander said to Corrin. Before she could speak, Ryoma yelled at her. "Come home to Hoshido, Corrin!"

"No, Corrin! Nohr is your home!" Xander said as she started to freak out. "This way." Ryoma said, extending his hand to Corrin and then Sakura looked at Corrin and said. "B-Big sister?"

"She's my sister." Elise said before Xander said, extending his hand to Corrin. "We're your family." Corrin was now stuck in the middle of her two families and could not handle it. Gavin pulled her away, knowing that they were waiting for Corrin's choice and turned her to him. He calmed her down and said making sure she looked at him. "Corrin, look at me. You need to make a choice."

"How can I? This is an impossible choice."

"Buy doing what your heart is telling you."

"My heart?"

"Your heart will tell you where you want to go. And don't worry, no matter what choice you make, I will be by your side. Support you no matter what happens. I promise." Gavin said and then the energy that turned Azura into Waves appeared again. It touched Corrin and a deck appeared in her right hand. Corrin looked at it and could tell that it was the choice she wanted to make. Corrin closed her eyes and turned back to her siblings. "Ryoma! Withdraw your troops." Corrin said to Ryoma as she drew her blade. Ryoma was very surprised and said to her. "You don't mean that, Corrin. You cannot possibly!"

"I'm sorry, Ryoma, but I will not fight for Hoshido."

"How can you say that?! Open your eyes! Can you not see how vile those Nohrians are? They're hateful fiends who wish to trample Hoshido! They killed our mother!"

"It's not that simple. I know what the Nohrian kingdom has done to Hoshido is unforgivable. And I know now that these are not my brothers and sisters by birth. Yet still, I must side with them. My heart won't allow me to do otherwise."

"How can you fight alongside those monsters after what they did?! Now that you know of their sins, how can you possibly justify joining them? You are a princess of Hoshido! You are my sister! They are to blame for you not growing up with us as you were meant to. Do you truly mean to fight for those who stole you away?"

"Ryoma… My sorrow is beyond words. Still, I simply will not abandon the only family I have ever known." Corrin said, leaving Ryoma speechless. Xander then said to Corrin. "You did the right thing, Corrin. As you know, you do not share the same bloodlines as the rest of us. But it matters not. I have regarded you as family since I first laid eyes on you. I cannot express what it means to me that you've chosen to return to us. Father will be pleased with your decision as well."

"Are you certain of that, Prince Xander? Surely you must know of King Garon's attempt to murder Corrin!" Ryoma said to Xander and Xander said to Ryoma. "Explain yourself. Swiftly."

"There was an attack in our capital's square. The explosion came from Corrin's sword. If my mother hadn't sacrificed herself, she would be dead now. If King Garon truly cares, why did he risk Corrin's life just to hurt Hoshido?"

"Is this true, Corrin?" Xander said to Corrin and Corrin said to him. "It is. But I still need to hear Father's side of the story. That's why I must return home right away. I must know the truth of this tragedy."

"I'm afraid that is not an option." Ryoma said before he drew his sword, and in a flash attacked Corrin. The attack wasn't fatal, but it did catch Corrin off guard and caused a lot of damage. "I will not allow you to return to Nohr until we've settled this on the battlefield." Ryoma said pointing his sword at Corrin Corrin looked at Ryoma and said. "Ryoma! Please don't do this!"

"If you are looking for forgiveness, you'll find none here. So you wish to side with Nohr? Then you must first defeat your true brother. It is your birthright to fight at my side. I cannot forgive the choice you've made. How dare you use the sacred Yato blade against your own kingdom! Perhaps it is a blessing Mother isn't here to witness your betrayal." Ryoma then attacked Corrin again, but this time was different. Corrin was ready for them, and Xander helped protect Corrin. Xander then said to Ryoma. " Stand down, prince of Hoshido. I will not allow you to cause any further harm to Corrin."

"Order me around once, and Nohr will lose a prince as well as a princess today. I will do what I must to awaken my sister from the spell that binds her. You vile Nohrians have brainwashed her, and I will not rest until she is free!"

"More false accusations. You know very well she chose this of her own free will. No matter the blood that courses through her veins, we are her true family. That will never change."

"I will not stand here and listen to your lies! Your heart knows only deceit and betrayal. Nohrians are notorious for their cruel and cowardly methods. This is no different. But I have had enough of foolish words. We must resolve this with blades."

"So be it. I always knew it would come to this. The crown prince of Nohr clashing blades with Hoshido's heir. It's almost poetic.

"Stop it!" Corrin said as she pulled out her deck, which was silver with the image of a light purple wolf head. "Henshin!" Corrin said as the belt appeared and she put the deck inside. When she started to transform, the force of it sent Ryoma and the other Hoshido royal's away from them. Everyone looked at Corrin's Summoner form. Corrin was now wearing silver spandex under light purple knight theme chest plate, gauntlets, shoulder and boots. And her helmet was light purple with dragon horns, mouth and her eye holes were silver. Ryoma then said as he and the others got up. "Corrin, you are a Summoner too?"

"She has become Summoner Duck, the leader for the Conquest Summoners." A woman's voice said and everyone turned to the owner, who was that same woman in purple armor that spied on Corrin, but her second color was now pure red. The purple lady appeared next to Ryoma and the others and Ryoma said to her. "Who are you?" She turned to them and showed them her face, but it was only the Hoshido royal family that saw her face, minus Azura. That face caused everyone to be surprised, and she then said to Corrin, now Dusk with her back turn. "I regret the choice that was made here today."

"What do you mean?" Duck said to the purple lady. The purple lady, whose back was still turned away from them, then pulled a deck box, which was purple and had the image of a lunar eclipse. "Henshin." The purple lady said as she transformed into a Summoner too. The purple lady Summoner form was like Dusk's, but the silver was replaced with dark purple, the light purple was replaced with bloody red, and the helmet was nothing but the image of a lunar eclipse. The purple lady then turned around and said to Dusk as a staff with the top having a lunar eclipse appeared in her right hand. "I am Summoner Eclipse, and I will take you and G-Wing to Hoshido."

"No you are not! Henshin!" Gavin said as he turned into G-Wing, and his helmet was now in the shape of a knight helmet, but the eye holes were the same. Eclipse then turned to Azura and said. "Help take them down, or be counted on their side." Azura didn't want to fight Dusk or G-Wing, but felt like Ecclipse wasn't lying. "Henshin." Azura said before turning into Waves and all Summoner ran off to an area they could fight without accidentally killing anyone.

As the royal's fought their respective counterparts, with Camilla and Hinoka protecting Elise and Sakura, the Summoners had reached a clearing and each of them pulled out their Weapon Cards.

"Summon Griffin Saber." G-Wing griffin head said and G-Wing caught it after it left the portal. "Summon Sea Lancer." Waves fin said and Waves caught it after it left the portal. "Summon Electric." Eclipse's staff said as it gained an electric effect. "Summon Tail Blade." Dusk's Yato said, and while it did surprise Dusk to learn Yato was her card slot. Dusk had no time to think about it. Dusk grabbed the long sword that looked like the tail Dusk had when she was a dragon, when it appeared out of the portal.

Then they each started to fight with their weapons. Sparks were flying, from the weapons hitting one another and hitting the armor. A few moments later, they all separated. Dusk vs Eclipse and G-Wing vs Waves. As Dusk and Eclipse fought, G-Wing and Waves stopped for a moment. In that moment, G-Wing said to Waves. "Azura, why do you stand against us? You said you helped keep Corrin safe."

"I..." Waves started to say, but stopped. "Fine don't tell me, but I promised Corrin I got her back, and I keep my promises." G-Wing said before he pulled out his Calling Card. Waves sighed and then pulled out her Calling Card. "Summon Goldwing!" G-Wing griffin head said and Goldwing appeared. "Summon Stormsong!" Waves fin said and a dark blue sea dragon that had white lines from a music sheet appeared. Both Goldwing and Stromsong roared at one another as G-Wing and Waves pulled out their Final Attack Cards.

As for Dusk and Eclipse, the battle was going in Eclipse favor. Every time Dusk tried to attack Eclipse. Eclipse would either dodge or counter each one of Dusk's attacks. It was like Eclipse was reading Dusk's mind. And just before Eclipse dealt a finishing blow, a knife hit Eclipse staff, causing it to be sent flying out of her hands. Dusk and Eclipse turned and saw Jakob had joined them. Jakob then healed Dusk and said. "Pardon me, Lady Corrin. It took me a while to track you down."

"Jakob? How did you know it was me? And where have you been?" Dusk said as Eclipse jumped away and grabbed her staff. Jakob then said to her. "I saw you transformed, and I've been searching for you this whole time. I apologize for leaving your side for such a long time. But I am here now, and I'll stand by your side."

"Another soul you will lead to death." Eclipse said before pulling out another card. "Summon E-Wasp!" Eclipse's staff said as she placed a Calling Card into it. Then a giant light blue wasp and it was giving off electricity from its wings came out of her shadow. "Jakob, get back." Dusk said as she got rid of her sword and pulled out her Calling Card. "Summon Colfgan!" Yato said, and out of Dusk shadow was a dragon with a wolf head and had a combination of silver scales and light purple fur, with its eye color per black. "Summon Final Attack!" Dusk's Yato, G-Wing's griffin head, Waves' fin, and Eclipse's staff said all at the same time.

All of the beasts roared as they helped the Summoners with their Final Attacks. G-Wings was the same as last time, but the others were different. Dusk and Colfgon jumped into the air and as Dusk came down, Colfgon increased her violet fire. For Eclipse, E-Wasp roared like it was in pain before it turned into lights that wrapped around her right leg and then Eclipse did a kick. For Waves, Stormsong roared creating a line then used its tail to raise Waves to the line and she kicked a spot on the line.

All four of the beasts made sure their Summoners all hit the same spot. Not one of them hit another, but in the center of the kicks sparks were forming around them. "Oh no." Eclipse said before they all were encased in some kind of energy and exploded. They were fine, but shockwave hit and sent everyone flying away, back to where they started. As everyone got up, Eclipse said looking at all of Hoshido forces. "You may have won this battle, Summoner Dusk. But this is only the beginning." She then pulled out a card and put it into her staff. "Summon Escape." The staff said before Eclipse and the whole Hoshido army, plus the Royal Family disappeared through a portal. As Dusk and G-Wing returned to normal, Gavin said to Corrin. "Are you ok?"

"No. I know that a princess of Hoshido siding with Nohr seems like the ultimate betrayal."

"Yeah, it would feel like that, but you will end this war. I have no doubt you can do it."

"Are you sure you want to join me, Gavin?"

"Yeah. I promise you I stand by you no matter what path you choose, and I never break a promise. Plus, I have a bad feeling that Hoshido is going to let their anger blind them."

"My Lady." Jakob appeared with black mercenary style armor. Corrin looked at Jakob and said. "Yes Jakob?"

"We are told to return to Nohr soon, but before that I have some armor for your friend. So he wouldn't be captured or killed."

"Thanks." Gavin said as he went behind some cover and put on the armor. After that was done Corrin and Gavin, followed by Jakob then returned to Nohr, because like Eclipse said, this was only the beginning.

And done, Now here is some info. Eclipse was using Effect Cards, cards that add an effect to something. And for Corrin Deck Beast. It's name is a combination of Conquest, wolf, and dragon. The "C" is from Conquest, the "olf" is from wolf, and the "gon" is from dragon. That's why its name is Colfgon. Now for the last piece of info. I am not using any of the Paralogues. Now before you get mad, I am not doing that because every non Rider character will almost take a back seat, so I don't want to write a whole chapter for a character that will be lost in the background. So don't hate me for it. Now goodbye and I hope to see you in the future.
