Day 12, 8:00 AM
Lobby
It had been about… almost three hours since the challenges had ended. Right now, the theater was pretty quiet, most likely because everyone was asleep, or the contestants at least.
The hosts however, were all seated, waiting in the lobby in order to start filming the intro for he day. You could tell that they hadn't had that much sleep for the past hours due to her dark eye bags circling on their eyes.
Chris let out a sleepy yawn, barely keeping his eyes open as he attempted to stare at the camera.
"So last time on Total Drama Act II…" he let out another yawn. "...our campers have… taken the ultimate medley challenge of… hiking… camping… and… what was the other one…?"
"Rowing a boat…" Chef sighed sleepily. "...I don't even know if that sounded right…"
"Wait… where's Erin?" Blaineley groaned and looked around for the scientist.
Don shrugged. "Probably sleeping in the rooftop."
At the same time, they all heard something (...or someone…) land on a tree, then on the grass with a loud thud just next to the theater.
"I'm okay!" Erin's voice called out.
Brea sighed heavily. "You know what, screw you all. I'm going back up to the dorm and sleep. I'll fire anyone who dares to wake me up." The hostess gave everyone a threatening glare before heading up to the third floor.
"Let's just get on with the intro." Don groans as the opening theme starts to play.
Opening Theme #1*
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine
The camera zooms into the dance practice room where Lyle was practicing his ballet. May and Sami were watching him and applauded as he landed on his plié successfully, while Arabelle on the other hand, watched with disgust.
You're always on my mind
The camera leaves the room and heads to the auditorium where we can see Beatrice masterfully playing the piano until Antoinette sits on the keys smirking, causing several off-key notes being played. Ryder sees this and pushes Antoinette off the piano, causing her to land face first to the floor and Ryder and Beatrice high-fived.
You asked me what I wanted to be
The camera zooms under the high-five and next thing we see is that we are in the bedroom of one of the teams' houses, where Janice was writing in her diary. Toxa was standing right behind her, rubbing her hands as if she had a plan. Toxa then turns back, only to find Misha crossing her arms. On the window however, we can see Pierre trying to get a peek of the girls.
And now I think the answer is plain to see
The camera warps to the other house's living room, where we can see Rival and Therion doing their handshake. Mara is then seen in the window waving at them causing Therion to blush but then scowls when he sees Mara taken away by Ulysses. Both boys however, ignored Alec, who served them a plate of cookies, with a shocked expression on his face.
I wanna be famous
The camera zooms into the cookies and warps to the backstage where we can see Carter and Mag arguing, with Nash trying to break them up, by throwing his lasso at them. Lee on the other hand, freaks out as he sees this, and runs away from them instead of telling them something important.
I wanna live close to the sun
We then get a view of the storage room, where Gordon and Vanessa were looking for something. Colin opens the door, scaring the two, but leaves after that with a downed expression.
Go pack your bags, I've already gone far
The camera then warps again to the dressing room, where we see Adala and Zack comforting Sybil, who looked as if she were crying. It then pans onto ELV on the other side of the room, who happens to pass by and (unintentionally) begins to eavesdrop.
Everything to prove, what can you say?
We now go to the cafeteria where we can see Holly, Evan, and Leticia chatting. Arreis and Kimmie have plates of food in their hand but Kimmie accidentally drops the food on Holly, making her mad. Mairead was on the other table, laughing, while Gabe didn't look too pleased.
I'll be there one day
The camera quickly zooms into a small library where Dustin, Oli, and Robert were playing cards. However Maya comes in and slams the table, causing all cards to fall off, getting glares from the three boys.
'Cause I wanna be famous
The scene then swaps to a camera room, where we can see Brea, Blaineley, Chris, and Chef arguing. Don then arrives and stops everyone but is stopped when Enrique starts scolding them.
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!
The scene switches to the office room where we can see Chris holding a bunch of papers, then leaves his office with a note that says "NO TRESPASSING" in big red letters.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The first "I wanna be" shows the Sopranos (Janice, Sami, Toxa, Beatrice, Kimmie) against the Tenors (Alec, Colin, Zack, Lyle, Oli). The second "I wanna be" shows the Mezzo-Sopranos (Vanessa, Misha, Adala, May, Mairead) and the Mezzo-Tenors (Gordon, Pierre, Therion, Nash, Robert) shaking hands. The "I wanna be famous" shows the Altos (Arabelle, Antoinette, Mag, Sybil, Arreis) and Basses (Rival, Ryder, Carter, ELV, Gabe) sharing a group hug.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The fourth "I wanna be" shows the four interns standing there with mixed expressions. The fifth "I wanna be" shows the five judges with different reactions from different performances. In the second "I wanna be famous" shows the five hosts crossing their arms with smirks on their faces.
whistling in tune*
The whole cast can now be seen on the stage, bowing as the audience applauds them loudly. Flowers were being thrown to the stage as the curtain closed, revealing the season's title, "Total Drama Act II: Musical Power" in gold letters. The episode title, "Episode 11: See-Saw" can be seen written below, in silver letters.
End opening theme*
Episode 13: See-Saw
"You guys were going up and down lately just like a see-saw."
Day 12, 10:00AM
Major Room - Girls Bedroom
The girls of the Major team, namely Beatrice, May, Misha, Mag, Arreis, and Toxa were seated in a circle. They had just woken up from their three-hour slumber, and honestly, it wasn't enough as the girls were still drowsy.
"So…" Arreis piped up, ending what seemed like an eternity of silence between them. "If we were to lose later, should we vote off one of the boys or something?"
"Yes." May nodded. "We should probably vote off the biggest threat between the three of them."
"You know what, if you were to ask me" Mag began, looking at the floors below her. "I honestly think Carter needs to go."
"Ah, is this because of the conflict you guys have?" Beatrice wondered.
"Yes. I don't need to know more. He's just making things even harder." Mag replied.
Misha nodded towards the girls. "Solid idea, bitches. Since we have the majority vote, this thing will be going on our side."
"Do you guys mind if I join into your plan as well?" Toxa asked. Everyone looked at her and nodded, with Mag glaring at her in the back of her head.
"Sure. The more votes the merrier!" Beatrice smirked.
"Alright, I guess it's settled then." Arreis confirmed. "Then… meeting dismissed it is."
The girls quietly went on their separate ways and began doing their own things.
May: "That plan of getting Carter out?" She chuckled. "That was honestly fake. The plan on getting Toxa out is going to be successful. She will think that we will be voting for Carter but in truth, only she is doing it."
Mag: She was laughing hysterically, almost falling out of her seat. "I don't need to know more… pssssh, of course I need to know more. I'm just saying that so that we can get her out."
Beatrice: "If our plan were to work, I'm really gonna hope that Toxa doesn't find an item or we're screwed."
Arreis: "Like we're actually getting Carter out. But… I kinda doubt that our plan would succeed honestly."
Misha: "This is making me remember that fucking Whole Rest last week."
Toxa: "Pfft. Like I'd fell for that. Mag is definitely getting my vote if we lose. I can tell that she made this plan up or something."
Major Room - Boys' Bedroom
Ryder and Carter were currently the only ones in the room so far. Neither of the two were communicating wih each other… until Therion opened the door and entered with a worried expression.
"What is it, Therion?" Carter asked bluntly, although he did noticed the expression on his face.
"I kinda overheard the girls talking in their room on my way here." Therion said worriedly. "They're planning to vote you out, Carter."
Ryder raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Wait… Carter? As far as I know, he hasn't done anything here so far."
"That's the thing." Therion sighed. "They see you as a threat."
Carter smacked his forehead. "This makes no sense. They're clearly targeting Toxa right now and so are we. So why do they decide to vote me off, then?"
"Well… it's either that…" Ryder shrugged. "...Or, they're lying because Toxa is with them right now. They all sleep in one room you know. For sure, Toxa sleeps with one eye open."
"You… you have a point there, Ryder." Therion pointed out, agreeing towards Ryder's theory. "But I guess, our plans don't change and we still vote for Toxa."
"Exactly." Carter confirmed. "Does Rival know about this too?"
"I'm sure he has." Therion nodded. "He's been against Toxa since last week."
Ryder raised an eyebrow, however. "Yeah, well, where's Rival when you need him?"
Somewhere in the theater
Both Rival and Erin were seen having a… makeout session on the couch.
"I missed you." Rival cheekily cooed towards the scientist.
Erin let out a soft giggle. "Awww, I missed you too! How's everything going on so far?"
"Pretty good." The redhead answered, giving Erin one more kiss. "Some stuff happened, but otherwise, everything's fine."
"Oh?" Erin raised an eyebrow. "Hm… did anything happened between you and Therion?"
"Well… yeah… wow, you actually got that right." He widened his eyes.
Erin laughed. "When did ever I go wrong?"
Rival decided to not respond to that and answer her first question. "Therion and I… got into a bit of an argument last week, but we're good now."
The guest nodded. "...Is this about Mara?"
"H-how'd you know? They… kinda broke up last week." Rival revealed.
"I knew it. Even I was the one who made them go together." Erin frowned. "But either way, I'll be the one to make them go back for each other." She smirked. "...and maybe smack some sense into Ulysses."
"...Wow."
Rival: "To be honest, I wasn't expecting all of this from Erin. Wars really did a number on her, I guess."
Minor Room - Girls' Bedroom
Both Vanessa and Antoinette were in the girls' room doing their own things.
"Ugh, why are Sami and Sybil taking so long in the bathroom?" Antoinette groaned. "I need to get my face cleaned up."
"Well you're not the only one, you know." Vanessa yawned as she grabbed some fresh everyday clothes from her bag.
Antoinette looked at Vanessa, then at the door. "What do you guys think is going on with them? They're not fighting anymore, that's for sure."
"Maybe one of them got sick or something, I don't know." Vanessa shrugged and plopped herself on her bunk.
"Should we go look after them or something?" The other girl asked, getting a bit worried.
"Nah, we'll wait and see. If they take even more longer, then we'll check up on them." Vanessa suggested.
Meanwhile in the bathroom, Sami was waiting worriedly outside the door. Sounds of throwing up and puking can be heard from the inside, which only made her even more worried.
"Sybil? A-are you okay? Do you want me to call the medic?"
"N-no! Please don't!" Sybil pleaded before coughing up a bit. She finally opened the door, her face swollen from throwing up, feeling dizzy as heck.
"What happened to you?" Sami asked. "You were fine a while ago and now you're just-"
"I'm fine Sami, just a little nauseous." Sybil squirmed, still feeling sick.
Sami couldn't help but worry even more than before. "Are you sure? You want me to take you to the medic? Maybe they'll know what to do-"
Sybil grabbed the fandom girl's arm and looked at her. "Please, no. Don't tell anyone. I'll be fine, I promise." She forced a smile.
This response from her only made Sami sigh disappointingly. "I'll just take you back to the room. Vanessa and Antoinette are probably wondering what in the world happened to us by now."
"...Y-yeah, you're right."
Minor Room - Boys' Bedroom
Colin, Pierre, and Gordon were all arranging their things in their room quietly. It had been a few hours since Robert quit and left the competition, despite their success in winning the previous challenge.
Suddenly, the door bust open as Zack rushed in, panting heavily, making everyone in the room stop in their tracks.
"Whoa Zack, you just gave us all a heart attack here!" Gordon flinched, genuinely surprised by Zack's sudden appearance.
The tall boy took a moment to regain his breathing as he leaned on the door. Once he did so, he rushed up towards the trio. "You've gotta see this." He added, rummaging his fingers through his pockets until he pulled out a small figurine that was oddly shaped.
"That looks like a Quarter Rest." Colin pointed out, suddenly reminiscing that time he had the Eighth Note.
"What does it do?" Pierre curiously asked.
Zack grabbed a hidden note in the figurine and unfolded it, examining it with his eyes. "It says that we could switch out a member from each team."
Gordon stared intently towards the figurine being held in front of him. No one was sure about it, but they could try it later in the eliminattion ceremony. "Let's get Antoinette out of our team."
"Agreed." Colin plainly added.
"Then who should we get?" Pierre asked.
Zack thought about it. He would genuinely feel bad for whoever they would pick for their team. "Let's just do a girl too to be fair."
"How about… Arreis?" Pierre suggested. "You know, she does have the veteran status and all."
"We'll see."
Day 12, 3:00 PM
CHALLENGE 5.2: Put It Altogether (Location: Dance Practice Room)
Later in the afternoon, everyone was now present in the dance practice room. Only Don, Chef, Chris, and Blaineley were present as hosts, okay that's still a lot. But the contestants were wondering what on earth is the challenge going to be.
"Something tacky, that's for sure." Vanessa obnoxiously said. "Nothing in this world can get tackier than this."
"Okay…" Don nods very slowly, unsure of how to react. "Anyway, if any of you are wondering why Brea and Erin aren't here, Brea is still asleep and hasn't woken up for quite a while and Erin is-"
Suddenly, a part of the ceiling came crashing down and landed on the floor… as well as Erin.
"H-how?" Chef asked, shocked. "I thought you were hanging out somewhere, resting yourself out and you just... crashed into here?"
"I have my reasons." Erin stood up and dusted herself off, not giving a damn about what had just happened to her.
Chris smirked. "Or, you just broke the floor of that spare room upstairs via certain circumstances and crashed your way down here just so you could see what we were up to."
Erin laughed. "Correct!"
"I was expecting that." Chris sighed. "Anyway, your challenge for today is… a singing medley!"
"A singing what?" Carter asked in confusion.
"A singing medley."
"Ah, alright. That explains the medley we did last night." The untrusting boy nodded.
"...Yeah." Blaineley ended the conversation as she read a piece of paper. "You will be picking songs from movies. Your choice will be at random. Let's see here… we have… Beauty and the Beast, High School Musical, The Greatest Showman, Frozen, Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera… yeesh, there are a lot of choices here."
"That's because we're saving some of those for future challenges." Chef added. "And… maybe for Act III as well."
"Anyway," Chris eyed Chef before moving on towards his explanation of the challenges. "Your singing medley can have up to three songs, but each member can only perform up to two of the songs.
After a few seconds of the cast whispering and blabbering about, everyone went back to silent mode.
"It's also up to you on the costumes and how you want the flow of your performance to go." Blaineley added, giving each team an index card (handing one to Carter and another one to Zack) that says what movie or musical they will pick their songs from. "Your performance will be tomorrow at 3pm, right in the auditorium. The judges will be there as well."
No one moved an inch for a few moments.
"...Well… what are you all waiting for?" Chris asked them, getting a tad impatient from all the waiting. "Start planning!"
The teens left the dance practice room and parted ways to their own teams to start planning.
Music Room
The camera cuts to the music room where the Major team sat on the floors in a circle. They were silent for a moment, as no one wanted to speak up… yet.
Finally, for what after seemed like an eternity, Carter read the index card Blaineley gave him.
"We got The Sound of Music." He declared in front of everyone, hoping to get his attention. "Does anyone know any songs from this movie?"
"There's the famous Do Re Mi." Beatrice chimed in. "It's kind of difficult to sing especially for the one who will be getting the role of Maria.
"Do you know the lyrics to it?" Mag asked her.
"Of course I do." Beatrice nodded. "I could be Maria if you guys wish."
Carter gave also a nod of approval. "Then that's settled then. We'll just decide on who else will be performing with you later on. We need to find two more songs though."
"How about the reprise version of the theme song?" Therion pointed out. "It's not that long. And besides, the only solo part is for the Captain, which is the outro. I'll be the Captain if you guys want."
Carter was pleased to see that they are getting the work done pretty quickly. "Good. Any other songs we could do?"
May was taking note of everything in a small notebook. "Why not So Long, Farewell? That one's pretty popular too."
"I guess we could do that." Mag nodded. "I mean, for sure most of us have heard this song before so it shouldn't be too hard."
"Alright then." Carter began summarizing everything up. "So the songs we are doing are Do Re Mi, The Sound of Music Reprise, and So Long Farewell?"
"Yes." Mag nodded. "Should we start dividing up the parts?" Carter nodded at this.
"Wait." Misha barged in. "Let's have Beatrice do only one song. She said that Maria's part in Do Re Mi is as hard as fuck, so we shouldn't pressure her to do another song."
"Good idea." Beatrice replied.
"You know guys," Ryder began. "Since we're all only allowed to perform once or twice, we should divide this up carefully. So Long Farewell definitely needs to all have seven children there, but for the other two, maybe we can have up to five of us perform to be fair."
"Let's do this. Seven of us will perform in So Long Farewell as the last song. Four of us will perform with Beatrice for Do Re Mi. Five of us will then perform with Therion for the reprise." Toxa explained.
"Yeah, that could work." Rival nodded. Although he hated to admit it, Toxa did made a point.
"Hmm…" Beatrice looked at everyone else in the team. "I'll have Rival, May, Carter, and Arreis to balance out the voices for Do Re Mi."
"I can do some of the speaking parts." May volunteered.
"Cater and I will just harmonize along with you guys." Rival added as he glanced towards Carter, who just merely nodded.
"Yeah, sure."
Therion jutted a hand on his chin. "Well, since I'll be performing as the Captain for the reprise, Rival, this could be your second performance. I'll also have Toxa, Misha, Mag, and Ryder perform with me."
"Sounds like a plan, bitch." Misha smirked.
"Yeah…" Therion nodded at Misha's… statement.
"So I guess Ryder, Rival, Misha, and I will harmonize?" Mag summarized. "Let's have Toxa do the ad libs."
"Of course I can do that." Toxa let out a chuckle to which Mag rolled her eyes on.
"Then that means everyone else who doesn't have a second performance excluding Therion and Beatrice will perform So Long, Farewell?" Ryder pointed out. "Sounds pretty good."
"Well then, let's start!" Arreis grinned as everyone got ready to rehearse.
Library
The teens of the overlooked Minor team were all sitting in a circle in a similar fashion to the Major team, only they were in chairs instead.
"So let's see here…" Zack unfolded the index card he had received from Blaineley. "We have… The Greatest Showman."
Pierre sighed disappointingly. "And here I am, expecting either Hamilton or Dear Evan Hansen."
"Not gonna lie, but I agree." Gordon nodded. "They did a song from The Greatest Showman last time."
"They did?" Zack asked.
"Yeah." Sami chimed in. "I remembered Kim and Robert performing Rewrite The Stars."
"Ooh, that one." Sybil reminisced. "To be fair, I still didn't get what Kim said in the end."
"Who knows? Well not us." Vanessa replied sarcastically, followed by a chuckle towards the end. "So how are we gonna do this?"
"Well, we're two members short from the other team." Colin sighed. "We are definitely performing only once."
"That's… a great idea actually." Antoinette said in agreement towards Colin's statement. "Why don't we do that?"
"Let's just pick some songs that are not Rewrite The Stars, for goodness sake." Zack says with a hearty chuckle. "Why don't we have Come Alive as one of our songs?"
"Hmm, I know that song." Gordon stated. "I could lead you guys."
"Cool." Vanessa grinned as she caressed his hand. "I'll perform with you."
Zack immediately took note of everything by using a pen and a piece of paper. "Alright so… we'll need one more. How about you, Pierre?"
"Yeah, sure." Pierre nodded. "As long as I don't have to strip myself half-naked like what happened in that horror short film challenge last week."
The others looked at him with confused and baffled looks, while Sybil was suffering from secondhand embarrassment.
Antoinette decided to end the awkward tension flowing in the atmosphere. "Let's… not even talk about that and just move onto the next song. I think we should do A Million Dreams." She suggested. "I've always liked the song."
"Good, you can sing as Charity for the song. That shouldn't be too hard for you, I guess." Zack pointed out. "Colin and I will both perform with you, but I will be singing first. I can make my singing voice sound like a kid's."
"Fair enough." Colin stated. "Of course this means I will be doing the last parts, correct? Including the… dance parts?"
"Correct." Zack nodded, and this earned him a slight groan from Colin. "Now… any suggestions for our last song?"
"Sybil and I should do Never Enough." Sami suggested. "It'll be a great song to end our performance."
"Wait, so you mean it will be like a duet?" Sybil asked her. "Isn't Never Enough a solo performance?"
"Well, we could always change a few things here and there and modify it." Sami added with a friendly wink. "Changing stuff won't hurt, will it?"
"It won't, don't you guys worry too much about it." Zack reassured the two girls. "So I guess this means that we should start practicing. There is no doubt that the other team is holding back now, so we might as well do our best."
"Well, we did win an advantage so we should be able to pull this off." Vanessa added confidently.
"...If we hadn't lost Robert that is." Gordon sighed in disappointment upon remembering what happened in the middle of the night last episode. "God, I feel so guilty."
Vanessa rubbed this back. "Don't be. It was his decision to quit so let's respect that."
"Alright then."
The team then proceeded to rehearse on the other side of the library.
Day 13, 2:20 PM
Backstage
The teens have spent the previous day either rehearsing or just taking the rest of the hours off. The next day came by, and apparently lunch had just ended.
As of now, the teens of Team Minor were gathered up once more, but this time, they were all in one of the backstage rooms to get ready for the performance which was going to happen in under thirty minutes, which isn't actually .
Zack was currently reading (or singing in his mind) his part of one of the songs they were going to perform.
"I'm having a bad feeling about this." Zack sighed as he read his lines over and over. "I mean, I memorized them pretty easily, but I just keep thinking that I'm not gonna do well-"
"Zack, you did good on your other performances." Sami assured him. She was wearing a knee length white dress with the sleeves flowing towards her elbows. Her velvet hair also had a white ribbon in place. "You can really nail this one."
"Really? What about the one where I just ran off?" The tall boy sighed, unable to forget the time where he didn't finish his performance and ran off.
"That was way long ago, you are really doing good now and I can really respect you for that." Sami said with a smile. "Just don't give up and keep on trying."
Zack nodded, enlightened by Sami's words. "You're right. Maybe I can handle this."
"That's the spirit." Sami chuckled.
Meanwhile, Gordon was also reciting his lines, seated not too far from Zack. He seemed… even more nervous than the tall boy. He straightened his red coat and put on his top hat.
"You okay?" Vanessa, who was in a black dress, asked as she approached him. "You look like you just saw a ghost."
"Well, there's a ghost standing next to me right now." Gordon joked.
The pianist let out a chuckle. "Very funny Gordon. But hey, if ever you forgot any of your lines, just give me that look. I memorized the whole song anyway."
"You're just trying to save me." Gordon laughed. "But thanks."
Vanessa gave him a kiss on the cheek. "No problem."
Somewhere far from the rest of the team, both Colin and Antoinette were practicing their part of the song. Colin had on almost the same costume as Gordon, but his coat was black. Antoinette had on a pink dress that reached past her knees.
"Do we seriously have to do the dance scene?" Antoinette sighed. "I really don't like dancing. Especially when it comes to… partner songs."
"Of course we have to do it, we'll lose if we don't." Colin countered, also not wanting to dance with her. "But let's face it, they will win anyway."
"For the first time, I'm actually going to agree with you." she groaned. "Let's just get this over with."
Sybil sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror while seated. She wore the same costume as Sami, except that her hair was up in a bun.
She could also feel herself having a headache. She felt like she wanted to throw up again, but she tried so hard not to.
Something was wrong.
"Hey," Pierre placed a hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong?"
She lightly gripped her head. "I don't know… my head is hurting, I feel tired as hell, and not to mention, I threw up a while ago."
"I uh…." Pierre stammered, already thinking about the worst. "S-should I take you to the medic?"
"No, I'll be fine."
"Sybil. Seriously, this is not good. I'll take you to the-"
"Pierre. I'm fine. I'm probably just sick with the cold or something." She strictly told him.
"But-"
"Just… don't talk to me for a while." She stood up and left him.
Also in Backstage
Beatrice was currently reciting her lines gleefully to herself. Her pink hair was straightened and she wore a brown button up dress.
"Good luck with that." Mag chuckled from behind. She had on a whitish-yellowish dress and had her hair up with a ribbon as well. "Looks tricky to memorize."
"Yeah, I didn't know it would be this long." Beatrice replied with a giggle. "But I can do it. Shouldn't be too hard since I've this song a lot."
"Cool." Mag smiled as she picked up a guitar from the other side. "I'm guessing we're gonna need this when we perform the reprise, huh?"
"Yup."
"You'll do great, Beatrice. I believe in you."
The timid seer gave her a wide grin. "Aww, thanks Mag!"
Toxa sighed as she, Ryder, Carter, Misha, May, and Arreis all did a round of rehearsing for So Long, Farewell. They all wore costumes resembling the Von Trapp children in the movie; beige clothes, white dress shirts and suspenders for the boys, light dresses for the girls, yeah, you get the idea.
"Please tell me why I have to be Marta out of all people." Toxa groaned. "Do I have to be Marta?"
May rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Hey, at least you aren't playing as Gretl. Even I have to crawl up on the stairs! I don't know how Arreis is gonna pick me up since she's playing as Liesl."
"I'll… figure something out." Arreis replied, but just shrugged in response to Toxa's question. "You're the only Soprano in this group besides Beatrice. And because Beatrice is performing Do Re Mi, we have to give the Marta role to you anyway."
Toxa sighed. "Yeah yeah, whatever."
Ryder also had a question pop up on his mind. "Hey, quick question. Do I have to do that incredibly high 'goodbye' like how Kurt does it? Because… I will sound hella weird if I do it."
"Um, yeah bitch." Misha plainly answered. "Besides, you, Rival, and Carter are all Basses here and out of all three of you, you have the highest voice for fuck's sake. Plus Therion can't because he's the captain."
"But the only thing Therion's gonna say is 'no'!"
"Exactly!" Misha retorted, followed by a sigh as she didn't know how to respond anymore. "Who else has a question?"
"I have another question though!" May raised her hand. "How come Mag isn't practicing with us right now?"
"Oh, sorry." Mag chuckled sheepishly as she approached them.
Carter looked around their group, and he still couldn't help but have this feeling that something… or someone… was still missing.
"Speaking of Rival and Therion, where are they?" He asked. "Not to mention it, they're kinda gone pretty often now, don't you guys think?"
"Well, they're friends. That's what friends do." Mag answered. "Why?"
"...Nothing, I'm just feeling a bit suspicious towards them. That is all." Carter clarified as he got ready to resume their rehearsal.
Carter (Major): "Don't get me wrong. I'm not against them or anything. It's just that… I've noticed that these two have been gone too often to leave things unnoticed. Maybe something is up?"
Speaking of those two, the camera pans to Rival, who was approaching the boys' bathroom, most likely to wash his hands as his hands are somehow full of… makeup due to a mishap.
"Hey, Rival!" Erin called out as she ran up to him.
The redhead turned and saw the scientist approaching. "Oh hey, what's up?"
She frantically grabbed his arm. "Come with me. I have Mara in the spare room upstairs and I need your help to get Therion."
"Wait- what!? Huh!? You can't be doing that in a time like this!" He told her in a panicky manner.
"Oh come on, I only have until after this episode before I leave so I have to make this one count!" Erin replied.
"Okay… where is he then?"
"I saw him went out of the theater. He probably forgot something and is probably going back for it." She said, until she saw someone, presumably Therion, not too far away as he was making his way back to the backstage room.
"Hey Therion! You, uh… come with us." Rival nonchalantly told him, causing the gamer to follow the couple.
"Uh, okay. But we need to hurry up, we have less than fifteen minutes-"
"This will be quick, I promise!" Erin assured as the three went up the stairs.
Day 13, 3:00 PM
Auditorium
By this time, both teens were already waiting behind the red curtains for their performance cue. Team Minor were located at the left wing of the stage while Team Major were on the right wing.
Sami gave a small peek towards the audience, opening up a small gap in the curtains as she did so. "The hosts aren't there yet."
Vanessa was already pacing back and forth in panic. "This is just great. We're all being a nervous wreck now. How are we supposed to do this?"
"We're gonna do good guys, just don't worry about it too much." Zack advised. "If we worry a lot, our performance would get whack."
"Zack's right guys. Just focus." Gordon added. "We can do this."
"Yes," Sybil nodded, but started clutching her stomach, feeling sick again.
Pierre rushed up to her for the umpteenth time. "Syb. I will take you to the medic."
"No!" She shouted, earning stares from the others.
"What?" Colin asked, an eyebrow slightly rising. "Something wrong?"
"No guys, it's really nothing."
Antoinette sighed. "Well, guys. Start prepping up. We might be the first ones to perform."
Meanwhile, back at the stage, Chris, Chef, Don, and Blaineley were taking over the program.
"And now, introducing to you, our guests!" Don flashed a grin. "Returning to the judges' table, we have Mrs. Holly Rosewood, Mr. Evan Zito, Mr. Lee Chang, Mr. Enrique Lopez, Ms. Leticia Henderson, and last but not the least, our guest for today, Ms. Erin Summers! Please make your way to the judges' table."
Holly, Evan, Lee, Enrique, and Leticia all entered the theater in that order, waving at the audience as they clapped for them. Once they were all seated, Chef immediately noticed that there was someone missing.
"Hey, Chris?" Chef quietly nudged him. "Where's Erin?"
Suddenly, Erin crashed onto the stage from who-knows-where, stood up as if nothing happened, and headed towards her seat.
"Oh, there she is." Chris said.
Erin (Guest): "Oh, I left them alone upstairs." She shrugged.
"Anyway," Blaineley cleared her throat. "Our contestants will perform a singing medley from two well known musical movies, The Greatest Showman and The Sound of Music! Our judges will be here to give scores of their performances and whoever gets the most points is safe from elimination! Now is everyone ready?"
Lots of applause from the audience were heard.
"Let's now give it up for… Team Minor!" Chis said dramatically. The four hosts left the stage at the sounds of applauses as the spotlight was now given to the teens of Team Minor.
Performance #28 (Minor)Songs (The Greatest Showman Medley): "A Million Dreams", "Never Enough", "Come Alive"
The lights dimmed a bit as Zack entered the stage. He looked at everyone with a slightly saddened expression as music began playing.
Taking a deep breath, he began to sing. "I close my eyes and I can see, aworld that's waiting up for me that I call my own through the dark, through the door through where no one's been before, but it feels like home"
Carrying on in the song, he began to sang in a dramatic manner by the prechorus. "They can say, they can say it all sounds crazy, they can say, they can say I've lost my mind. I don't care, I don't care, so call me crazy, we can live in a world that we design"
As he moved on to the chorus, he began singing in a powerful voice, one that he hadn't really used before. "'Cause every night I lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head. Amillion dreams are keeping me awake. I think of what the world could be, a vision of the one I see, a million dreams is all it's gonna take."
"Our million dreams for the world we're gonna make" He ended the chorus softly as he moved on to the second verse, retaining his singing method from the first verse. "There's a house we can build, every room inside is filled. With things from far away, special things I compile, each one there to make you smile on a rainy day."
As he began singing the his last part, which was the second prechorus, Antoinette and Colin both got ready for their part. They have changed some parts of their choreography for a bit so that it wouldn't be too hard for them to sing while dancing.
Colin began singing the chorus, giving the besg he could. "Every night I lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head. Amillion dreams are keeping me awake. I think of what the world could be, a vision of the one I see, a million dreams is all it's gonna take."
"Our million dreams for the world we're gonna make" he sang as Antoinette approached him and the two began dancing similar to the choreography in the film.
"However big, however small let me be part of it all. Share your dreams with me" Antoinette sang her part, followed by a twirl. "You may be right, you may be wrong, but say that you'll bring me along, to the world you see"
The two began to sing together. "To the world I close my eyes to see, I close my eyes to see it"
They stopped for a bit, with Colin singing a part of the last chorus. "Every night I lie in bed, the brightest colors fill my head"
"A million dreams are keeping me awake" Antoinette sang, followed by Colin again who sang, "A million dreams, a million dreams"
The two sang in the final duet as they completed the chorus. "I think of what the world could be, a vision of the one I see. A million dreams is all it's gonna take, a million dreams for the world we're gonna make."
"For the world we're gonna make" They sang one more time as the lights became darker, signalling the end of the first song. Both of them ran off the stage before the lights lit up again. This time, both Sami and Sybil were seen approaching each other on the stage, microphones placed on their hands as a piano melody began playing.
"I'm trying to hold my breath" Sami began to sing softly. "Let it stay this way, Can't let this moment end"
"You set off a dream in me" Sybil followed, singing in the same style as Sami's. "Getting louder now, Can you hear it echoing?"
The two then began singing in a very soothing duet as both their voices harmonized with each other. "Take my hand, Will you share this with me? 'Cause darling, without you"
Sybil began singing the first part of the chorus the best she can, despite how sick she was feeling. "All the shine of a thousand spotlights, all the stars we steal from the night sky will never be enough, never be enough"
Sami sang right after her, her voice beginning to get more powerful every syllable. "Towers of gold are still too little, these hands could hold the world but it'll never be enough, never be enough, for me"
The former actress followed, as she began singing, "Never, never, never, never, never, for me, for me"
Sami sang in a higher tone, belting as she did so. "Never enough, never enough, never enough
for me"
The two sang together once more, holding off their notes. "For me, for me"
They then burst into the chorus, putting full emotion into their harmonious voices as their voices became powerful. "All the shine of a thousand spotlights, all the stars we steal from the night sky will never be enough, never be enough. Towers of gold are still too little, these hands could hold the world but it'll never be enough never be enough"
"For me" Sami belted again, this time, holding off her notes even longer. Sybil also began harmonizing by singing, "Never, never, never, never, never, for me, For me"
Both girls then went onto their separate parts, with Sami singing first before Sybil and the two went back and forth. "Never enough"
"Never, never"
"Never enough"
"Never, never"
As she hit the final "Never enough", Sami belted in the most highest note she could, emphasizing her Soprano range before they both sang again.
"For me, for me, for me"
"For me" The two sang in a quieter tone, ending their performance.
The lights dimmed again as Gordon rushed up to the stage, giving a thumbs-up to the two girls for their hard work. As the lights went up and the music to the final song started playing, he tried to sing in the most enthusiatic way he could.
"You stumble through your days, got your head hung low your sky's a shade of grey. Like a zombie in a maze, you're asleep inside but you can shake awake"
"'Cause you're just a dead man walkin' thinkin' that's your only option but you can flip the switch and brighten up your darkest day" He continued through the first prechorus. "Sun is up and the color's blinding, take a world and redefine it, leave behind your narrow mind, you'll never be the same"
He walked around the stage with a smile on his face as he sang the first part of the chorus. "Come alive, come alive, go and light your light let it burn so bright. Reachin' up to the sky, and it's open wide you're electrified."
The beat kicks in as he continued. "And the world becomes a fantasy and you're more than you could ever be, 'cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open. And you know you can't go back again to the world that you were living in, 'cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open. So, come alive"
At this rate, Pierre and Vanessa went up on the stage while Gordon sang the next verse. "I see it in your eyes, you believe that lie that you need to hide your face. Afraid to step outside, so you lock the door but don't you stay that way."
"No more living in those shadows, you and me, we know how that goes" Vanessa sang.
"'Cause once you see it, oh you'll never, never be the same" Pierre followed.
The two now did a duet as the rest of their team joined them up on stage. "A little bit of lightnin' strikin' ottled up to keep on shinin', you can prove there's more to you"
"You cannot be afraid" Gordon crooned.
The entirety of Team Minor gathered around as they sang in unison. "Come alive, come alive, go and light your light let it burn so bright. Reachin' up to the sky, and it's open wide you're electrified. And the world becomes a fantasy and you're more than you could ever be, 'cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open. And you know you can't go back again to the world that you were living in, 'cause you're dreaming with your eyes wide open. So, come alive!"
Everyone excluding Gordon began to sing. "Come one! Come all! Come in! Come on!"
"To anyone who's bursting with a dream" Vanessa sang once more before the team sang again.
"Come one! Come all! You hear the call!"
Gordon then hits the notes on his next line. "To anyone who's searching for a way to break free"
As everyone began to sing the final part of the chorus twice, Team Major were on the right wing having a bit of a panic.
"Where the absolute fuck is Therion!?" Msiah shouted, already frustrated at the fact that Therion was still not there.
"Hey Rival, you probably know where Therion is, right?" Mag frantically asked the redhead.
Beatrice chimed in. "Yeah, I mean, we're doing the reprise first and he's the captain so if he doesn't show up soon, we're gonna have a huge problem."
"Guys, they're almost done." Toxa told them.
Arreis let out a huge sigh. "What on earth are we going to do?"
"Perform without him?" May suggested.
"It would be weird without the captain though." Ryder countered. "Especially in the reprise."
"Guys, chill!" Rival almost yelled at them. "He will be here soon! Really!"
"Well make sure he is here soon then." Carter sighed as he pointed towards the curtains, hearing the other team about to end their song.
"'Cause we're dreaming with our eyes wide open. So, come alive!" The Major team all chorused. Lots of applause was heard as they held up their poses before rushing back to the left wing. The hosts also went back up on stage.
"What a splendid performance, Team Minor!" Don applauded.
"It surely caught the attention of everyone here for sure." Blaineley said, trying to sound enthusiastic but it came off as more sarcastic.
"Anyway, will Team Major top their performance?" Chef asked.
"We'll find out right now!" Chris answered. "Please give it up for Team Major!"
As soon as those words were let out, the lights dimmed as more applauses were heard.
Performance #29 (Major)Songs (The Sound of Music Medley): "Sound of Music" (Reprise), "Do Re Mi", "So Long, Farewell"
Mag was holding the guitar and began strumming. She, Rival, Toxa, Misha, and Ryder all began singing in harmony. "The hills are alive with the sound of music, with songs they have sung for a thousand years. The hills fill my heart with the sound of music, my heart wants to sing every song it hears"
"Every song that it hears" Toxa ad-libbed with everyone singing again afterwards. "My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds that rise from the lake to the trees.
"To the trees" Rival and Ryder sang before the others sang with them. "My heart wants to sigh like the sound of a chime that flies" There was a pause. "From a church on a breeze"
"To laugh like a brook when it trips and falls over stones in its way. To sing to the night like a lark that is learning to pray"
"I go to the hills" They continued, but stopped as they heard another voice singing with them.
That other voice revealed to be Therion, who walked towards them, similarly to what happened in the movie. He stood in front of them as he sang, "when my heart is lonely I know I will hear what I've heard before. My heart will be blessed with the sound of music"
He glanced at his team as they all sang together. "And I'll sing once more"
Misha (Major): "Not gonna lie, that part was so similar to the fucking movie." She chuckled. "But thank god that he managed to come on the right time."
They all gave each other looks of relief as the lights dimmed once more, giving time for Misha, Mag, Toxa, Therion, and Ryder to exit the stage. Rival remained on the side as May, Carter, Arreis, and Beatrice joined him, getting ready for the second song. They laid a picnic blanket on the floor and sat on it as Beatrice began to sing. "Let's start at the very beginning, a very good place to start. When you read you begin with"
"A-B-C" May sang before Beatrice followed her.
"When you sing you begin with Do-Re-Mi"
"Do-Re-Mi" Rival, May, Carter, and Arreis went.
"Do-Re-Mi" Beatrice repeated. "The first three notes just happen to be Do-Re-Mi"
"Do-Re-Mi"
"Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti" Beatrice sang, but stood up and spoke. "Come, I'll make it easier for you. Listen."
"Do, a deer, a female deer, Re, a drop of golden sun, Mi, a name I call myself, Fa, a long, long way to run" She sang. "So, a needle pulling thread, La, a note to follow So, Ti, a drink with jam and bread, That will bring us back to Do, oh, oh, oh"
Rival, May, Carter, and Arreis all sang the note as Beatrice kept singing, doing so alternatively. "Do"
"A deer, a female deer"
"Re"
"A drop of golden sun"
"Mi"
"A name I call mysеlf"
"Fa"
"A long, long way to run"
The five a sang in unison "So, A needle pulling thread, La, A note to follow So, Ti, A drink with jam and brеad"
"That will bring us back to" Beatrice cut off, before they all sang the chorus once more.
"Do, a deer, a female deer, Re, a drop of golden sun, Mi, a name I call myself, Fa, a long, long way to run, So, a needle pulling thread, La, a note to follow So, Ti, a drink with jam and bread, That will bring us back to Do"
"Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do" Beatrice went.
"So-Do"
Beatrice turned to everyone as they stood up. "Now children, once you have these notes in your head, you can sing a million different tunes by mixing them up like this" Shecleared her throat. "So, Do, La, Fa, Mi, Do, Re. Now you do it"
The four teens who played as the children all sang.
"So, Do, La, Fa, Mi, Do, Re"
"So, Do, La, Ti, Do, Re, Do"
"So, Do, La, Ti, Do, Re, Do"
"Now let's put it all together" Beatrice said.
"So, Do, La, Fa, Mi, Do, Re
So, Do, La, Ti, Do, Re, Do" they all went.
"But it doesn't mean anything" Carter declared.
"So we put in words, one word for every note" Beatrice continued. "When you know the notes to sing, you can sing most anything"
"Together" She added.
"When you know the notes to sing, you can sing most anything"
"Do, a deer, a female deer, Re, a drop of golden sun, Mi, a name I call myself, Fa, a long, long way to run, So, a needle pulling thread, La, a note to follow So, Ti, a drink with jam and bread, That will bring us back to Do"
Rival, Carter, May, and Arreis began singing their own parts.
"Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do
Do, Ti, La, So, Fa, Mi, Re
Do, Mi, Mi
Mi, So, So
Re, Fa, Fa
La, Ti, Ti
Do, Mi-Mi
Mi, So-So
Re, Fa-Fa
La, Ti-Ti"
Everyone continued as Beatrice joined them.
"When (Do, Mi-Mi)
You (Mi, So-So)
Know (Re, Fa-Fa)
The (La, Ti-Ti)
Notes (Do, Mi-Mi)
To (Mi, So-So)
Sing (Re, Fa-Fa)
(La, Ti-Ti)
You (La, Ti-Ti)
Can (Mi, So-So)
Sing (Re, Fa-Fa)
Most (La, Ti-Ti)
Anything"
"Do, a deer, a female deer, Re, a drop of golden sun, Mi, a name I call myself, Fa, a long, long way to run, So, a needle pulling thread, La, a note to follow So, Ti, a drink with jam and bread, That will bring us back to Do" The four teens playing off as the children all held off their notes as Beatrice went on with "Do, Ti, La, So, Fa, Mi, Re, Do"
"Do" The five sang the last note, panting a bit at how long their performance was. The lights went dark again, signalling Beatrice and Rival to exit the stage. May, Carter and Arreis remained, forming a horizontal line as they were joined by Ryder, Mag, Misha, and Toxa.
Music began playing as the teens sang while May and Toxa did the cuckoo parts. "There's a sad sort of clanking from the clock in the hall and the bells in the steeple, too. And up in the nursery an absurd little bird is popping out to say "cuckoo" (Cuckoo, Cuckoo)"
"Regretfully they tell us (Cuckoo), but firmly they compel us (Cuckoo) to say goodbye (Cuckoo), to you"
They turned around as they chorused enthusiastically "So long, farewell auf wiedersehen, goodnight"
"I hate to go and leave this pretty sight" Toxa sang before leaving the stage with a flourish.
As Arreis, Carter, May, Ryder, Mag, and Misha remained, they all wait for Toxa to exit before they sang again. "So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu"
"Adieu, adieu to yieu and yieu and yieu" Carter sang, glancing his head towards the audience for every 'yieu' before stepping off the stage.
Arreis, May, Ryder, Mag, and Misha were left. "So long, farewell, au revoir, auf wiedersehen"
"I'd like to stay and taste my first champagne" Mag sang. "Yes?"
"No" Therion's voice was heard offstage. Mag heard this and left with a frown.
Arreis, May, Ryder, and Misha remained as they chorused, "So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye"
"I leave, and heave a sigh and say goodbye" Ryder sang, before going on to the high pitched goodbye (which almost sounded more like a high pitched shout) "Goodbye!" He left the stage as his team tried hard not to laugh.
"I'm glad to go, I cannot tell a lie" Arreis went.
"I flit, I float, I fleetly flee, I fly" Misha sang, as she and Arreis fluttered like butterflies off of the stage, leaving May in the center. She sat down on the floor and scooted backwards as if she was climbing up the stairs by sitting on them while singing.
"The sun has gone to bed and so must I"
Mag helped her up as Ryder, Misha, Toxa, Carter and Arreis joined her, followed by Rival, Beatrice, and Therion. "So long, farewell
Auf wiedersehen, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye"
"Goodbye" They harmonized one last time as the music ended. The audience applauded and cheered for them as they bowed, ending their performance.
"Thank you, Major team!" Don applauded once more. "What a spectacular performance!"
"But do the judges think so as well?" Chris asked. "Minor team, please join us on stage as we hear the judges remarks."
The Minor team did so as well, with the audience growing silent when they did so. Everyone then waited patiently and anxiously for the judges remarks.
"Both of your performances are… as what Don said, spectacular." Leticia complimented. "One thing I have noticed is that the team who performed the Sound of Music medley, I think it was Team Major, changed up some of the parts and I can really see them fitting into your performance. So good job! Out of five points, I will give Team Major four points and Team Minor with three points."
The Major team all smiled, while the Minor team stayed neutral, nodding in approval.
"Hmm…" Enrique jutted his chin. "I am a HUGE fan of both actually, so this was a huge plus for me. I really loved both performances but I will be giving both teams four out of five points. Four because, there is still room for improvement."
Both teams grinned at his words as they waited for the next judge to speak up.
Lee had a smile on his face. "I am also a fan of both, especially Sound of Music. All of you did so well but… I just think you need to improve more on your voices. Especially for Team Major. So… four points for Minor and three points for Major."
Both teams looked down but nodded at his response, realizing that both teams are tied.
Holly let out a sigh. "If I were to rate both of you… you all did a good job. Not very good, not bad, not perfect, but just good. Two points each."
No one said a word.
It was Evan's turn. "I'm not sure about this one." He chuckled nervously. "However… I do see some parts on Team Major's performance that could be fixed, particularly on your Do Re Mi performance. Team Minor did good however. So for me, I will give two points for Major and three points for Minor."
The teens nodded once more in understanding.
And last but not the least-
"I will give all of you a five!" Erin cheered. "I pretty much enjoyed both performances! I was actually silently cheering over hear-"
Leticia coughed. "Not really."
"Oh really?"
Literally three minutes ago- "Goodbye" Team Major sang. "WHOOOOOOOOO!" Erin screeched at the top of her lungs but wasn't early audible as so much applause was heard instead.
"Ehehehe…" Erin chuckled.
"Then that means…" Blaineley did the math on her head. "Team Minor won with 21 points while Team Major had 20 points."
Everyone cheered, mostly the Minor team as they didn't have to face elimination.
"Also, since Team Minor won the previous challenge, you guys get two additional points which makes your total 23 points." Chris added. "Although it's kinda useless since you won, but eh, if Major won it, they would win then."
"See you all in the elimination ceremony." Chef announced as everyone headed out of the theater.
Night 13, 6:00 PM
ELIMINATION CEREMONY #5
The fifth elimination ceremony has now arrived. The teams, especially Team Major, were all separated throughout the whole time before the elimination ceremony and didn't really bother to discuss the elimination as they already did so back in the morning.
Both the Major team and the Minor team stood by their own podiums; the Minor team looking completely neutral compared to the anxious expressions over at the Major team.
"Major!" Chris grinned mockingly towards the said team, who were pretty much used to this whole ordeal. "What happened? You guys were going up and down lately just like a see-saw!"
"Say that to your face, asshole." Misha snarked.
"Whoa whoa whoa, okay, no need to be so feisty for goodness' sake!" Chris said, taken aback by the sudden aggressiveness. "Well in this case, Major team, please cast your votes on the ballot."
The teams all lined up for the vote off.
VOTING CONFESSIONAL #9 - MAJOR TEAM
Arreis: "Let's hope this works."
Beatrice: She doesn't say anything as she writes her vote down.
Carter: "Me? Getting eliminated? Not happening to say the least."
Mag: "Bye bye, Toxa. You won't be missed."
May: "I thought Toxa would be an obnoxious person who has a good heart deep inside but… nope."
Misha: "...Bitch."
Rival: "Everyone is targeting Toxa, and honestly I am too."
Ryder: "Everyone said Toxa but… I'm not entirely sure…"
Therion: "I am not liking this decision somehow…"
Toxa: "Like I said earlier, Mag has my vote. Goodbye."
After the votes happened, the teens all stepped back and listened to the vote count.
"Major, you have casted your votes. Whoever has the most votes among you is eliminated and takes 18th place in Total Drama Act II: Musical Power." Don explained, opening up a folded piece of paper. "Therefore, I am now holding the vote count. Safe with no votes are… Therion, Beatrice, Ryder, May, Rival, Misha, Arreis, Rival, and Carter."
Everyone was relieved as the Chef gave them their marshmallows. Carter seemed to be the most relieved out of everyone as he genuinely thought that the girls' fake plan was true. However, all the girls were raising suspicions.
"Mag and Toxa." Don called out. "One of you has one vote, while the other had a whopping nine votes. Wow."
"We all know who it is." Carter shrugged, everyone not really caring much about it.
"Just when it is my first time doing the vote count, jeez." Don groaned. "Okay, whatever. Toxa, you're eliminated."
Toxa widened her eyes and stood up, glaring accusingly towards the girls. "You said we would vote for Carter!"
Mag rolled her eyes. "Psh, it's not like you voted for him either."
The indigo-haired girl sighed as she had been caught again. "Oh fine." She huffed and left the theater.
The Major team all glanced at each other with mixed expressions and emotions before heading back to their own podium.
"Well… that smarts." Chris commented as everyone went silent at this rate. "I guess that's it for our elimination ceremony-"
Clap clap!
Chris widened his eyes as he knew what the double claps meant in this season. "Someone looks like they have an item within their hands."
"Yes, Chris. That was me." Zack stood up. "I found a Quarter Rest."
"Hm, okay then. Please pick a member from each team to switch." Chris ordered.
"Let's see…" Zack looked around the room and grabbed the figurine from his pocket.
...However, he widened his eyes at the figurine.
"Wait… it's a Time Signature-"
Chris formed a smirk on his face. "Well well well. Looks like we have our second victim of the monstrous Time Signature! Zack, you're now the 17th placer of Total Drama Act II: Musical Power."
"W-wait… you're serious!?" Zack widened his eyes. "T-there's got to be some sort of mistake! That-"
Before he could say something else, both Ulysses and the same intern with the black coat grabbed him.
"But-"
"Shhh!" Hissed the intern in the black coat before he escorted him outside the auditorium.
The Minor team members all looked down at their loss, most especially Sami.
Don cleared his throat after a few seconds of silence. "So I guess this is the end of the episode then? Therefore-"
Before he could even fully end the episode, a note was suddenly given to him by a staff member. He widened his eyes, both surprised and confused as he began to read it anyway. "Contestants, I have received a note from the judges. Major team, one of you will be losing a member and that member will be moving to Minor. While Minor, you will be having a member who will move onto Major."
The Major team all groaned as they have to lose another member yet again.
Don opened up the note. "And that member moving to Minor is… Carter."
The untrusting boy widened his eyes shockingly at the sound of his name.
May: "Well… um… I guess we really are losing Carter."
"What?" He asked. Normally, he would get it if it was a dancing challenge, but no one danced this episode, as the challenge was a singing medley. He rolled his eyes, not receiving any answers as he approached his new team, still not believing what happened.
"Minor team, the person moving up to Major is…" Don read the papers, but widened his eyes. "Oh… wait. The judges said that this person will be eliminated instead."
"Wait, you can't just make them choose someone to eliminate! We've already had two people gone!" Antoinette countered. "How's that fair?!"
"Well, it's fair because the person going is actually you." Don chuckled.
The diva fumed. "Me!? What!?"
"Yes, you're eliminated." Blaineley grinned. "Finally."
"Wait, why me!?"
"Hm…" Chris read the paper. "Holly wrote in here that you don't deserve to win the money in order to get your family's restaurant back."
"Did… she really said that?" she stammered, obviously taken aback by the comment.
"Yup. You're 16th place now." Chris nodded.
Erin widened her eyes, shocked as well. "Oh my god, I was a judge in this episode and I didn't even know it."
"That's because you fell up the stage." Don nonchalantly said. "Anyway, interns, please escort Antoinette out of the theater."
"Wait, that's- THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! YOU CAN'T JUST-"
Chris cut her off as Eden and Maya pulled the diva. "Eliminate you out of the game? Oh please, say that to the judges."
As she was being escorted, the Minor members became even more anxious than before. Even though they won against Team Major by a small difference, they couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. They won the last challenge, yet they lost a member. They won this challenge, but they technically lost more members than the losing team.
Gordon (Minor): "You know what's wrong with the show?" He eyed towards the camera. "As someone who's been in Team Minor for who knows how long, I have come to a conclusion and say that this show has MAJOR bias… no pun intended of course. I could be wrong, but I should probably check on this even further. Because it's either that, or we're just getting a ton of bad luck. Yup, I'm probably overthinking."
Afterwards, the cast were dismissed by the hosts, leaving the hosts (plus Erin) on the stage.
"So… how did I do as a judge?" Erin asked.
Chris sighed. "You could've done better if you didn't give everyone a perfect score."
"Hey, at least I'm not like Ms. Holly who gives them nothing!" Erin defended herself.
"Yeah yeah, we get the idea." Blaineley sighed. "You're obviously more generous than Leticia."
"Hm… where's Brea though? Didn't she say that she will be down here before the challenge?" Chef asked. "It's literally the end of the episode."
"Eh, that's her loss." Chris rolled his eyes. "So, what will happen to both of the teams now that each team has lost at least one member?"
"Will the problems between the cast be solved in due time?" Blaineley asked the camera.
"When will I appear again?!" Erin asked (or shouted) towards the camera with a smile plastered on her face.
"Yeah. Oh, and where is Brea?" Don asked. "Well… we'll just see you all next time and find out what happens next here on-"
"TOTAL DRAMA ACT II: MUSICAL POWER!"
End of episode.
Night 13, 7:00 PM
Outside, by the Parking Lot
"So I guess I'll be seeing in a while huh?" Rival smirked as he walked Erin out of the theater.
"Yes, babe." She giggled.
"That reminds me… what happened to Therion and Mara?"
"Oh let me tell you~"
Flashback… in the 3rd floor
Erin, Rival, and Therion stopped by a door in the third floor.
"Erin… what is this?"
"You'll see." Erin grinned as she opened the door.
"Oh lord…" Rival sighed, thinking everything will go downhill.
Therion widened his eyes at who he saw.
"Mara?"
"Therion?"
As he heard his name escaping from her lips, he turned back to walk away but Erin stopped him.
"Therion… just talk to her. Just this once maybe?" Erin asked nicely. "It's not her fault that Ulysses went into her life."
"Please Therion, can we just talk this out?" Mara squeaked.
T herion stood and stared for a while, a part of him wanting to just leave them be and not be late for the performance while another part of him actually wants to get back together with her.
"...I'm gonna skedaddle." Rival quickly said and dashed off.
Erin continued to watch the interaction from the two.
"Therion, I-" Mara stopped herself and sighed. "I'm sorry about Ulysses. He's just… I don't know, he toys with me a lot and-"
"I know." Therion nodded. "It was clear during the time when he almost attacked me."
"But…" Mara sighed again, almost wanting to give up herself. "I don't like him, okay? He probably just wants to mess with our relationship."
"Our relationship?" Therion questioned.
"Yes. Our relationship." Mara looked at him. "Unless if… I-I'll just let you decide."
Erin checked her watch and gasped at the time.
From there, she ran back to the auditorium.
Rival had an eyebrow up. "So… this means that… you didn't even know if they made up or not?"
"Nope." Erin shook her head.
"...I knew it." Rival chuckled. "Thanks for giving the readers a cliffhanger."
"A what?"
"...Never mind." He said instead. "So I take it that this is where we part ways?"
"Yeah." Erin said, giving him one last kiss. "I'll see you then?"
"Of course. Cheer for me, alright?"
"Duh!" Erin laughed and waved at him.
From there, the two waved their goodbyes and parted ways as Rival headed back to the theater.
Lobby
Meanwhile, Zack, Antoinette, and Toxa were silently waiting in the lobby for their ride to the place where the aftermath takes place.
"Ugh, this sucks!" Antoinette groaned. "This is just so unfair… so this is how Arreis felt last season. Like, how are the judges able to choose someone to eliminate!"
"You're just terrible, that's all." Toxa snarked.
Antoinette huffed at her. "Well at least I didn't end up injuring an alumni!"
"Oh shut up- hey, where's Zack?" Toxa wondered as she looked around. There was no sight of the tall boy in the lobby.
Well… speaking of Zack, the camera cuts to him in the hallway. Suddenly, he saw Sami about to head out and so he ran to her.
"Hey, Sami!"
"Oh, hi Zack!" Sami greeted with a smile but it soon faded afterwards. "I'm so sorry you got eliminated-"
"Hey, it's not your fault." Zack placed a hand on her shoulder. "It just so happens that there was a Time Signature in the way."
"Yeah but… I feel bad." Sami sighed. "Like how Oli got eliminated."
"Well Sami… there's just one thing I'd like to tell you…" Zack said as he fumbled with his fingers.
"Oh? What is it?" The fandom girl asked as she raised an eyebrow curiously.
"Um… once this show's all over… would you want to go out with me some time? You know, just the two of us?" Zack shyly asked.
Sami let out a giggle. "Oh, like a date?"
"N-no, not that… I mean… yeah, kinda like a date-"
Sami gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'd love to."
"Really? Sweet." Zack laughed and pulled her in for a hug. "Then it's settled then! Well… good luck on being in the game while I'm gone, haha. I'll be cheering you from afar."
"Of course I will, hope you have fun in the aftermath too!" Sami smiled, before the two began to part ways.
Once Zack rejoined Antoinette and Toxa back at the lobby, they now took their ride to leave the theater.
Lobby (around an hour after the eliminated contestants left)
"Where were you?" Don asked Brea, who had just returned to the lobby. The rest of the hosts were present as well, since Erin had just left the building not too long ago. "You've been gone throughout the whole day! You said that you were just gonna take a nap."
Brea slammed a few papers onto the desk in front of the hosts. "McLean. Explain this to me. Now."
Chris widened his eyes as he soon saw the papers, something about these papers oddly struck him.
"No. That's a lie."
"Really?" Brea's face turned into a dark frown. "You should've spilled this secret long ago. You probably forgot one of the most important rules in being a host."
"I'm getting a bad feeling about this-"
"Shut it, Blaineley." Brea demanded. "McLean. Have you forgotten the rule of having contestants related to you in the game? They're forbidden. It clearly states in the contract. So explain to me all that."
"That's a lie." Chris huffed again.
"Say that again or I will be terminating your contract." Brea told him in the most strictest (and the most scariest) manner possible, causing some of the other hosts to feel uneasy about the situation.
"It's a lie, Brea! What the hell!?" Chris yelled, getting into her face.
"Explain how Mag is your biological daughter then!" Brea shouted, literally causing the rest of the hosts to gasp in shock.
Little they know that Pierre was just on the other side of the lobby, heading for the medic room. Surprisingly, he heard everything.
Pierre (Minor): "Wait… Mag and… Chris!? Father and daughter!? What!?" He then sighed, but still couldn't believe what he had just heard. "...should I tell Carter about this too? Because this probably means that… he was wrong… unless Chris was THAT man he was talking about…" he shudders. "Oh great, now I have another problem on my plate."
Pierre stepped back so that he wouldn't get seen.
"You know what, I'm terminating your contract until the end of the season. And that is final." Brea declared. "I've had enough of you, McLean. You may be two to three decades older than me, but your brain is probably the size of a pea."
"Same with you!" Chris shouted. "Do whatever the hell you want because I for sure am not coming back unless I want to!" He added, storming out of the theater.
Brea sighed as she felt like she was gonna have a major headache. Blaineley just rolled her eyes and Chef looked down.
"I think I know who could replace him." Don said as he held up his phone. It showed a contact number of someone was no other than…
...Topher.
