Olivia is beautiful, petite, but she comes packed with a punch. She's the total opposite of her sister Savannah. Savannah is the good girl. Olivia and Savannah are 3 years apart in age with Savannah being the oldest. Savannah and Olivia look nothing alike but they are both beautiful sirens in their own right. Olivia was always the exotic looking one and she has an exotic personality to match. She's more the wild one always looking to push the button and see how far she can go. She's a first year grad student. She's been home for the summer and will be going back to the University of Pennsylvania to start her second year of Law School. She wanted her last night back home in the city to be eventful and eventful is what she is going to get. She and her best friend, Abby are living it up. They decide to go to Mariel Underground in downtown Boston.
They are sitting in the VIP section thanks to one of their best friends from underground, Harrison. They didn't ask questions about how he got them in but he was doing what he does best, charming the ladies while they are trying to decide if they should get up and dance. Olivia doesn't know that someone's been watching her from across the room since she came in. His eyes are beautiful ocean blue. He probably has the best head of hair a man could hope for with a one curl that falls right over his eyes. He's tall, like an adonis with a smile that would charm any woman. He watches the way she dainty drinks her drink while laughing with her redhead friend. He's been watching those full lips cradle the edge of glass ever so delicately. He can tell she's a little minx. He noticed that the moment she walked in. The way her body fits the cute little white cocktail dress that hugs her perfect ass and accentuates her beautiful brown skin. He is more than sure he's in love.
Abby lays eyes on him and sees he's watching Olivia. "Are you checking out tall, white, and handsome over there because he's checking you out?"
Liv is bobbing to the song that is playing, "What are you talking about?"
"To your left, he's been watching you for the last 5 minutes," Abby explains.
Liv keeps her rhythm going as she looks slightly to her right seeing him, he nods to her and holds up his glass. Before they know it, he sends another round of drinks. She catches his eye again, nodding back to say thank you.
"Hmmm," she says.
"Hmmm," Abby repeats. "All you have to say is hmmm," Abby shakes her head.
"I'm flying back to Philly tomorrow, even if I wanted to, there's no point," Liv explains.
"There's no point or…"
"Or damn he looks delicious. I could just eat him up but it's better I stay over here and he stays over there," Liv laughs.
"Oh come on, at least have one dance with ," Abby suggests.
"I should….," Liv shakes her head. "I shouldn't…"
"You shouldn't do what," Harrison asks as he appears.
"There is a man over there that has been devouring Liv with his eyes for the last 20 minutes. I told her go over and have a little fun," Abby explains.
"Hell, why not? Ms. Life of the Party doesn't want to be the life of the party on her last night before she goes back to the grind and being the book genius and shit," Harrison says.
"It's not. It's just that I haven't had sex in 4 months, since Edison and I broke up and I a horny has hell. I might climb that tree right there on the dance floor," Liv says, taking a deep sigh.
"Fuck Edison!" Abby says. "He cheated on you. Don't let him mess up you getting felt up by the tall vanilla shake."
"What makes you think he wants to feel me up?" Liv glares.
"He's a man who likes good looking women!" Harrison checks.
Abby starts to clap her hands, "Too late sister. He's on his way over."
"Shit...is he?"
"Yes he is!" Abby winks.
"Of course he is! He sees male competition. He's coming to get the 411. I think I'm gonna fuck with him," Harrison laughs.
"Both of you, don't you dare. He is not coming over here," Liv says, burying her head in hand palms.
"He sure as hell is," Abby says as she sits up straight. Wanting to meet this tall drink of water head on.
Right as Fitz is making his beeline for her, he gets stopped by someone. Abby and Harrison can see he's annoyed by being stopped but he goes with this person that seems to work there.
"What's he doing?" Liv asks.
"He got stopped. It seems like something that's important," Abby answers.
"Crisis averted, he had to disappear," Harrison says.
Liv lets out a breath she's been holding in. "That's probably just as well."
"Well we can't let him ruin our night. Let's go hit the dance floor," Abby says.
"I've only been sandwiched between two women once tonight. Let's change that," Harrison agrees as Abby moves out of the booth and Harrison follows.
"I am not going to have you rubbing your ass against me all night," Liv hits him.
"Don't hate," Harrison bobs his head to the new song that's playing.
They dance from song to song. Liv is catching the eyes of a few guys with the way she moves her body to the music. And then it happens, the best song in their opinions, Faith Evans, A Love Like This Before. Liv starts to amp up her hip action when a guy decides to bite the bullet and break up this sandwich that Harrison is getting to enjoy.
"How about a turn with me?" The guy asked.
"This is my song, you better know how to keep up with me."
"Baby, I can keep up," he answers as he moves closer to her and starts to lightly grind on her.
"I should warn you. If you try anything, he'll kick your ass after I kick it," she says, pointing to Harrison.
"You are safe with me," he answers as they are moving groove for groove to the song.
Fitz has now reappeared in the room. He's now mad that he missed his chance with the minx in the VIP booth. He scans the room. He doesn't want to give up on a dance and possibly a kiss with this beautiful woman. He spots the woman he knows is the woman of his dreams dancing with a lucky guy he already hates. He makes his way over to the dance floor.
"So, what's your name beautiful?" The guy asks.
"What's yours?" She teases.
"I'm Chance but my friends call me Cozy," he winks as they keep moving.
She can't help but spontaneously laugh, "Cozy...I'm scared to know why."
"Let's see what happens after tonight and maybe you will," he grins.
She's about to give him her name but decides against it, "Carolyn."
He steps back as they keep moving, "You don't look like a Carolyn."
"What do I look like?" She asks. She's very interested in his, hopefully, well thought out answers.
"You look like a Destiny or Candy or…"
"Stripper names," Liv chuckles.
Fitz decides this man is making her laugh a little too much. He walks over, making his way in a wide stride, "Can I cut in?"
"Not really," Chance answers.
Liv turns around to see the face that goes with that voice. It's him. It's that tree that she's definitely sure she could climb if given the chance. Liv is frozen in her spot while Cozi pulls her for her. Abby and Harrison clue in on the mystery man finally finding Liv.
She finds her words to say, "Next dance."
He looks at her and then Cozi, "I guess that's fair."
Liv takes in the scene before her, "My dance card is full tonight."
Cozi eases up behind her, eyeing Fitz, "Hopefully not much longer ." Liv turns and they finish their dance.
Fitz grits his teeth and before he can react, he's pulled into a dance with Abby, "Hello! I'm her friend Abby."
Fitz breaks out of his haze to come eye to eye with the red head. "Hello!" Fitz says.
"I saw you eyeing her early. I was wondering when you were going to make your way over here. You are a little slow," Abby announces.
"I didn't get your name," Fitz says.
"I'm Abby and you are?" She quickly fires back.
"I'm Thomas," he answers.
"Well very nice to meet you Thomas," Abby smiles.
"So, are you going to tell me about your friend?" Fitz says.
The song changes and before Abby can answer, Liv breaks away from Cozi who is more than mad she is giving this guy a dance. "I can tell you about me, myself," Liv says to Fitz.
Abby quickly lets go of Fitz's loose embrace as she winks at Liv and whispers, "You know the drill."
"Not happening," Liv whispers back.
"Just be safe," Abby says as she whistles away to find Harrison waiting in the wings with a hi-five.
Carolyn and Thomas just stare at each other for a moment.
Harrison and Abby look, "You think she's gonna chicken out," Harrison says.
"Not if he has anything to say about it," Abby answers as they go back to their booth.
They continue to stand and look at each other. Both searching for the right thing to say, "So, what are you gonna tell me about you," Fitz says as he holds out his hand. A slow song comes on which fits the mood perfectly.
"I love this song," she says with a slight shiver, but a warm shiver as he brings his arms around her waist.
"So you want to deflect telling me about yourself," Fitz gathers.
"Maybe," she says coyly.
Fitz takes a moment to take in the words of the song, "What is the name of this song anyway?"
Before they know it, they are slowly swaying to the music. She answers, "With You by this guy named Tony Terry. It's an old school R&B jam. The oldies are the goodies."
When I'm with you, I hear a song that makes me laugh and smile and sing to you….
"I like the words and I like the woman I can now attach it to," Fitz says. He gently rubs his hands up and down the bare opening of her dress as his fingertips lightly grazes her skin softly.
"You don't strike me as a R&B guy," she teases.
It's for real, what I feel, when I'm with you….
"I can be into anything if it means getting close to you plus the words I can relate to them," Fitz crookedly smiles as the song continues to croon.
When I'm with you the sun shines my way….It's for real, what I feel when I'm with you…
Liv shakes her head. She can feel it. The tightness in her guy with this man. She's never had this type of instant attraction before. "That half-cocked smile. I bet you use that on all the ladies."
"Certain women bring it out of me," Fitz answers. Liv can't help but blush and smile.
"And I'm one of those certain women. Lucky me," she sexily rolls her head.
He surveys her body, looking her up and down, "You most certainly are."
Liv can't even control this reflex of her face. She's smiling beyond her own control. Get it together girl, she says to herself while he continues to soothe her back in circles with his fingertips, as if drumming to the song.
Special touch, a warm embrace. A sweet and tender, your smile….
"Are you going to tell me your name?" Fitz asks.
"Carolyn," Liv says softly.
"The pleasure is all mine to meeting you Carolyn. I'm Thomas," he finishes as he just stares into her eyes.
Chills when I look in your eyes…..
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Liv asks.
"I am wondering if I can convince you to leave with me and we go right across the street," Fitz announces.
"To the hotel," she eyes him.
"I want to talk to you more and whatever else we decide to do. I don't want to have to fight with that guy who wants another dance with you. And I don't want you to know that I think your two friends over there just made a bet on the two of us," Fitz says as he looks in Abby and Harrison's direction.
Liv turns quickly to see them engrossed in what's happening. She shakes her head at them and turns back to Fitz.
"He's asking her to leave with him. I am telling you," Harrison says.
"Liv is going to play hard to get," Abby assures him.
Harrison sits back in the booth, "The way he's been looking at Liv's ass and admiring that dress. He's asking her to leave with him."
"Liv is not going to let me down. I have a hundred bucks riding on this. She better not let him charm himself between her legs," Abby huffs.
Liv takes a breath, "We better leave now before I change my mind."
Even Fitz is shocked by her answer. He just knew that he was going to have to fight a good fight and she was going to play hard to get with him. "Let's go then," Fitz answers as he searches the room and nods to someone in the distance.
"Fuck," Abby says.
"Hand it over! Someone's getting their freak on tonight," Harrison says as he holds out his hand for the hundred bucks.
They make their way to the Langham. Liv can't believe her eyes. It's such a luxurious hotel. The name is money and he casually walks in and doesn't stop at the front desk. He walks directly to the elevator. She's quiet but taking it all in. He can tell the questions are rolling around her head.
"For now, I live here," Fitz says.
"Damn," Liv says, which makes him chuckle. He can tell she's nervous. He's nervous. He's never been this spontaneous, early days of college yes but not now. Liv notices the numbers are going up and up. She thinks to herself, Is he going to the penthouse?
The elevator stops, "This is me," Fitz says as he steps off and then reaches for her hand. He gets to the door, opens and walks in. It's majestic, it's beautiful, it's a loft.
"This is gorgeous and fancy. Who are you Mr. Thomas?" She says.
"That's a mystery I would love for you to unfold. Who are you Carolyn?" She just smiles. "You want to sit down?" He asks.
He walks her over to the living area. "You live here for now. Pretty nice place to live even if it is temporary."
"Well, I'll find a place soon. But for now, it works." He says as he sees her sit down and she's sort of fidgeting and it's so cute to him. He drops to his knees and she sort of jumps but her gut tells her he's the perfect gentleman. He gently takes her left leg and ankle into his hand. He pulls off her Christian Loubutin gold pump off. She doesn't hesitate to let him take her other leg as he takes the other pump off.
"Is this how you treat all your one night stands?" Liv says as a matter of fact.
He looks up at her, "I didn't know this was a definite one night stand. I was hoping but I can tell you right now. If it's something I want, once is never enough."
Liv can almost swear a river of lust rushed out of her center at his words. In that moment he could do anything he wanted to her and she wouldn't care. "This might not be a good idea," she quickly suggested.
He takes the inside of her wrist and kisses it gently, "And why not?"
"Because I am leaving tomorrow and tonight will be tonight and I don't want to go back and dream about you all the time and the fact that one night was just one night."
"It doesn't have to be," Fitz says.
"Yes it does," she says as she tries to scoot away but he lifts up to her, bringing himself in front of her, still on his knees.
"I can assure you, no matter what happens, if I never see you again, you will never leave my thoughts," he says, kissing a little further up that same arm.
"I'm too young for you. I'm sure of it," Liv says, looking away and squirming at the same time.
"How old are you?" He asks.
She can tell she's alone in this beautiful space with a man. A more experienced man that knows how to please a woman. The delicate way he's tracing circles on her skin. It's soothing her nerves but raising the flames inside of her. She never felt this way with Edison and they were together for 2 years. "24…." she answers.
"I'm 33," he answers. "You are legal and I am legal and we both want the same thing, tonight."
"But…" she starts.
He doesn't let her finish, he finally takes hold of those beautifully red painted lips he's been waiting to kiss all night. It's an instantaneous moment of pure electricity. He lifts his body, never breaking away from her lips to join her on the couch. She falls back into the kiss. Before he knows it's she angrily attacking him. They give each other their tongues as they kiss hard and slow. He's never in his life kissed a woman this way. No woman has ever kissed him this way. They both begin to moan. She's sucking his lip and tugging it at the same time. He brings his free hand up to her breast and he massages as he takes control of the kiss, licking inside her mouth. He can still taste the residue of the red wine she was drinking. He tries to move his hand and she grabs it in haste, keeping it there. He breaks the kiss, much to her dismay but he moves his lips to her neck as he begins to suck and kiss her neck gently. She lays back on the pillow, letting him acquaint himself with her skin. He quickly learns that's her weak spot, right behind her ear. He's moving down her neck, he's at the neckline of her dress. He looks up at her, "I can stop. Whatever you want!"
She goes for his jacket, for him to take it off. This man is making her feel things she hasn't felt before. She feels like a woman, a wanted woman. "Don't stop," she says out of breath.
He begins moving his lips down her chest to her nipples. He's knows she's not wearing a bra but watching her orbs poke through this dress in arousal is more than a turn on for him, "I've been wanting to see what is under this dress all night," he utters as he takes a gentle bite of her nipple through the dress.
She's becoming annoyed with the buttons on his shirt. He lifts up , ripping the shirt off, buttons fly everywhere. The wife beater, she just rips in one swoop, "I've been wanting to know just what you were working with too."
"This body is full of surprises," Fitz winks.
"Well don't keep me in suspense," She sighs. God she doesn't even recognize herself right now. He could be a serial killer. He could be a serial womanizer. And she's lost all sense of boundaries with him. Her body is on fire and she wants his hose to put it out.
"First I want to introduce myself," Fitz says.
She looks at him incredulously. This is no time for introductions. "You are Thomas and I'm O..Carolyn. We already got that out of the way."
"Yes we did but that's not what I am talking about," Fitz says. She immediately looks confused now.
He gets back on his knees, pulls her ass to the edge of the seat and it makes her squeal, "What are you doing?"
He brings his hand up her dress. He's wanting to claim her panties into his hands only to find out she's not wearing any. He looks up at her, "Naughty girl!" Liv can't help but become flushed.
He spreads her legs wide, lifting her dress at the same time and the crown jewel between her thighs is glistening. She's already so wet for him. She can't help but wonder what he is about to do. He takes her ankle again and begins to kiss up her legs. She moans at the feeling. He keeps traveling up her beautiful skin as he makes his way to her center. He looks up at her, "I want to introduce you to my superpower."
"Are you Superman?" She asks jokingly and before she makes another joke he dives into her center, taking a long, slowly, and pressing lip to her slit. "Oh Shit," she utters as she throws her head back.
He begins to lick her lips, already getting the taste of her pool of honey. It's like eating sucking the honey from a honeycomb. He could taste this taste forever. He moans as he takes her clit into a suck. She thrashes her head against the back of the couch, "Oh my god," she moans.
He flicks his tongue in and out of her mound, as he slurps her raining essence each time. He digs his nails into her hip bones to hold her tighter. He keeps sucking her, each time feeling her swell around his lips. She's close and he knows it and he wants to get there but he wants it to be earth shattering. He lifts her bottom, she gets to hint as she grinds her middle into his face. He's taking her thrust for thrust each time his tongue gets drenched in her cum that's flowing. He brings her legs over his shoulder. He's never had a woman so open in front of him. She was his dinner and he was going to have every drop of this meal.
"I'm almost there...don't stop…," she says breathless as she finally pulls for his hair. That perfect hair. "Fuck," she yells as he the flat part of his tongue has now sanked into her pool. He's going in for the kill as she's sure she's going to take out patches of his hair follicles. The licking and the sucking and twirl of his tongue around her clit is too much. Where did this man's mouth come from? He sucks her again, eliciting a scream he is sure would wake the floor as grips his hair with one hand and covers her eyes with the other. He's still soothing her insides with his tongue as she rides out her orgasm. She's almost humming. Her breathing is heavy.
"Delicious," he whispers as he moves up her body.
She feels like she wants to cry, "What just happened?"
"I gave you something you will never forget," he says, kissing her to her lips as he lets her taste herself.
"That was some super powerful introduction," she smiles as she kisses him back.
"Oh that was just abbreviated," He says as he scoops her up from the couch. He starts going up to the loft. She doesn't even ask questions, she just begins to nibble at his neck and scraping his bare chest. She doesn't have her phone or purse. Abby texts to ask if she's okay.
They make it up to the loft as Fitz gently stands her on her feet. "You are beautiful," he whispers as he dips his lips down and kisses her.
"Thomas, do we have everything we need?" She asks. She then adds, "I'm on the pill too."
"We have more than enough," he answers as he pulls the dress over her head. She looks down to see the tint in his pants. She tries not to react but she's more than sure there's a superpower in his pants too.
"I want you right now," she whispers as he pushes her gently to the bed, and she falls back. She's stark naked and ready. "Take off your pants," she says.
"You can do the honors," he answers. She doesn't waste any time unbuckling his belt. She unzips him and the pants fall. She just licks her lips as she pushes his boxers down, unleashing erect beast. She begins to rub his tip and traces the ridges of cock up and down. "You like what you see," he asks.
She falls back on the bed, scooting herself to the head. She opens her legs for him. "Come and get it," she dares.
He prowls on the bed, crawling toward her. He crashes into her lips, kissing her hard again. He's hard and can't wait to be inside of her. He breaks the kiss, opening the drawer beside him. He's never been more thankful to have just bought an emergency condom pack. He hasn't sex in 1 year, ever since his breakup with Mellie he's kind of weened himself off. It was sex that got him into that mess with Mellie to begin with. He pulls out the condom, tearing off the top with his teeth. He looks at Liv dead in her eyes. "Once I get it, it's mine."
Her breath hitches, "Let me," she says.
He passes her the packet. She pulls the condom out. She reaches down kissing his tip before rolling it on. She lays back down as he slowly places his body on top of her. He whispers in her ear, "I want to make love to you."
"I want you to," she smiles as she caresses his jawline. Those ocean blue eyes of his have turned dark and full of lust. She doesn't know what Pandora's box they are going to open together but she's sure this is an experience she doesn't want to eer forget.
"If I hurt you, you stop me," he says, searching her eyes. She just nods in agreement. He slowly enters. There is a rush of air that releases from both of their lips as he moves further and further inside of her. She's tight and he can only imagine why. He lays still inside her, relishing the feel of her walls around. He begins suck one of her nipples. He can feel her nervousness. He wants her know she's safe with him. He rolls her other nipple between his fingers. He gives the same attention to the other nipple with his lips. She bites her lips.
He slowly begins to move up and down on her, letting her adjust to his size. She's only ever been with 3 guys in her life. One in high school on her 16th birthday. He was a senior and she lost her virginity to him, Marcus Walker. He was decent. Then there was her study partner, Sophomore year of college, Stephen Finch. He was good at the oral game but now she can safely say he wasn't that good. Then there was her recent breakup, Edison Davis. He was more obsessed with his goals than their relationship, which involved cheating on her with her class nemsis Angela Webster. Now, here she is with a man she just met and she feels like she's known him her whole life.
She cups his ass cheek with her hand, pushing him into her. He takes the gesture that he can move faster. He begins to move faster on her. She whimpers at the feel of him burying himself deep inside of her. She's never felt this sensation before. She wraps her legs around him, wanting to feel all he has to give as she meets him thrust for thrust. He turns her face to him, as he thrusts her as he never breaks eye contact with her. They are staring deep into each other's eyes and she's sure that for a brief moment she saw her future and he was it, she tries to look away and he doesn't let her.
He kisses her softly as he begins to go faster and faster. The bed begins to creek. She's scratching his back. He feels so good. She's pretty sure this is new, this lovemaking for her. She grunts and then pleads, "Yes...Yes…." and then she hisses and it's like it was a trigger for Fitz. He brings her legs up over his shoulder as he is on his knees jamming her. He's deep inside her and he is sure this is heaven and she's taken him there. He grunts harder and harder, louder and louder as he learns what moves makes her react. She flips them over. She hovers over him as she lowers herself on him. She throws her head back as he fills her up. She begins to ride him slowly as he guides her hips up and down.
He moves her on him fast as her legs are locked around his hips. He loves letting her be on top. Her little perfect body and breast moving to her rhythm as her walls begin to swell. She presses her palms into his chest as she stretches her body almost the length of his chest, still riding his painfully slow but painfully good. She wants that perfect climax so she speeds up her thrust into him as he meets her thrust for thrust and after a few more urgent thrust into each other. She orgasms and collapses on his chest. He's rubbing her back as she kisses his chest and then up to his lips.
She looks up at him, "Why didn't we meet sooner?"
He doesn't answer, he just stretches to kiss her. He doesn't want her to know that he believes he's met his forever."
It's before sunrise. Liv wakes up before he does. They made love two more times that night. Truth be told the last time was just urgent fucking and it was intense and perfect. She's sore all over but it's a beautiful sore. She sees the time. She knows she has to go. She doesn't want that scene. The scene you always see in the movies, where one tells the other, not to leave. She has to go back to school and she's convinced herself, trying to have a long distance relationship won't work. She eases out of the bed, gathering her clothes. She gets dressed to leave. She's downstairs as she grabs her phone and sees urgent messages from Abby and Harrison and her dad.
She wants to go back up those stairs and just crawl into the bed with the man that made her feel unbelievably beautiful and desired. She wants to watch his chest rise up and down from sleep and that little side grin he has in his sleep. She wonders what he's dreaming about and if he's dreaming of her. She grabs the hotel stationary and pen and writes him a note. She can't stop herself from letting tears fall as she writes the note. She doesn't even know why she's crying. She picks up his clothes off the floor that was left from their urgent undressing and lays it carefully across the chair, placing the note on it. She goes out of the door and calls an Uber. She questions if she did the right thing and she already knows the answer but she knows this is for the best. Her heart is telling her to go back but her head tells her that leaving is the best and that is what she does.
An hour later, Fitz wakes up, he reaches for her on the side of the bed. He finds nothing but a chill. He shoots up in the bed. The sheet that is clad around his waist raises with him. He looks around the room, noticing her dress is gone. He's hoping against hope that she's not gone but deep down he knows she is. He gets up, puts on his boxers and walks over to the railing of the loft and looks down to see her shoes and her purse is gone. He lets out a sigh. He sees that she laid his clothes on the chair and there is a piece of paper on it.
He's never slept so well in his life the way he slept with her in his arms, the little they slept. He can smell her scent all over his body as goes down the stairs. He wished he could have tied her to his bed to keep her there. He had every intention to see her again and learn her real name. He knew she wasn't Carolyn just as he suspects she knew he wasn't Thomas. He reluctantly pics up the note and reads:
Last night was the best night of my life. Don't be angry with me.
If I had stayed I would have never left. I told you I was leaving town today and I am.
I'm going back to school and I'll be miserable the entire time because of you.
I'll be thinking about you and jealous of the woman that's going to steal your heart.
I meant what I said last night. I wish we had met sooner. You've ruined me.
Ruined me for any other. I'll never regret it and I hope you won't.
Love, Carolyn!.
P.S. I know your name isn't Thomas.
Fitz can't help but smile at the last sentence. He knows it's pointless but he has to find her. He has to see her again. In fact, he's pretty sure he has to marry her because she is the one and he's sure of it. He takes a shower and gets dressed. He's going to do investigative work if it kills him to find that woman that did steal his heart. He just wishes he knew her real name. That would be a place to start.
Liv was lucky enough to make it back home before her dad wakes. She takes a shower in the basement bathroom and goes back to sleep down there. It's now breakfast and she and her sister Savannah are sitting at the table eating.
"When are you gonna tell me what happened last night? I heard you come in."
"Damn, I thought I was quiet," Liv shakes her head.
"You two were never quiet when you snuck back into the house," Eli Pope says as he enters the room. He has a commanding presence. He's very distinguished. He was a total softee when it comes to his girl but otherwise he could be very scary. Their mother, Maya Elizabeth Pope died when Liv was 12 and Savannah was 16. He raised them and raised them well with the help of his family and Maya's.
Liv is immediately embarrassed, "Good Morning dad!"
He reaches down and gives them both a kiss, "Good Morning!"
"Dad, did you really know when we snuck in?" Savannah asks.
"Of course I did. Your mother always said, even when you were little you were gonna be amazing girls. You would be smarter than any average girl and that you would be smart. As I hope whatever you were doing last night Olivia, you were smart."
Both the girls are misty in the eyes, whenever they talk of their mother, it brings a little sadness. "Of course I was smart. It was great hanging out with Abby and Harrison last night."
"What time is your flight again?" Eli asks.
"It's for 4! Quinn is gonna pick me up at the airport," Liv explains.
"And I am going to drop you off," Eli finishes. Liv gets up giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"I am going to finish packing," Liv announces as she gets up and goes toward her room.
"I'll help Sis," Savannah gets up and goes up to the room with her.
They make it upstairs as Liv quickly says, "Close the door. I don't want daddy to hear me."
"Are you going to tell me what really happened last night," Savannah says, rubbing her hands together.
Liv sits on her bed, "We went to this club. I danced with a few guys. The last guy I danced with took me to his room at the Langham and we sort of had amazing sex but anyway. You wanna come to lunch with me, Harrison and Abby."
"STOP, PARK, and PAUSE, you slept with a guy last night that you danced with and you never met before last night," Savannah says a little too loud for Liv's taste.
"Would you keep it down?" Liv covers her mouth.
"Who was he? What was his name?" What did he look like? Did you wear a condom?"
Liv is flushed just thinking about it. She almost zones out, "Umm he was gorgeous, tall, and white with the most beautiful blue eyes. I don't know his real name. I just know it wasn't what he told me, Thomas. And he wore a condom every time."
Savannah lifts off the bed, "Tramp, how many times?"
"Three times," Liv blushes. "And his tongue…..God his tongue."
Savannah's eyes stretch, "Did he?"
"Yes...a master," Liv sighs.
Savannah is caught up in the excitement. She comes down for a moment, "Liv, he could have hurt you. He could have been nuts."
"That's just it. My gut told me he was not going to hurt me and…" Liv doesn't finish her sentence. She gets up, folding some of her clothes.
"Why are you eyes like they have hearts in them? If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were in love."
Liv turns around, holding the dress from the night before, "Sis, do you believe in love at first sight?"
"I don't know. I guess. I mean it's never hit me yet, the cupid arrow. Even Though I'm probably destined to be an old maid and live here with Dad forever."
"You are not an old maid and Dad hates being in this house without us."
"I can't live with Dad forever and you got out. You went away to school."
Liv sits next to her, "Sis, he will come along. I just know I hope that I didn't make the biggest mistake of my life this morning, leaving him in that bed."
"Go back!"
"I can't sis. I am almost done with school. Maybe when I come back, we'll cross paths again and hopefully some beautiful woman hasn't stolen his heart," Liv says with sadness in her eyes that her sister notices.
"Maybe so," Savannah smiles as they get up and finish the packing.
Fitz is sitting at the bar at the club. He's going over some paperwork. The bartender is setting up the bar. Fitz is crunching numbers.
"Tom," he says, looking up from his papers.
"What's up boss?"
"You remember the girl I left with last night," Fitz asks.
"Of course I do. She was hot," Tom says cautiously. Not sure why his boss is asking.
"I need to find her. I have to find her," Fitz says.
Tom looks at him, wanting to ask the question but is it too personal, "Sir…"
"Yes, we slept together and when I got up this morning she was gone."
"The one that got away," Tom says.
"I am pretty sure I fell in love with that woman and I only knew her for a few hours. That's why I have to find her," Fitz explains.
"Nice place," This booming voice can be heard.
Fitz rolls his eyes not looking in the direction, "To what do I owe the pleasure father," Fitz says.
"I came to talk to you about something," Gerry says. Gerry is almost a mirror image of Fitz. He's tall in stature. He's got a great head of hair and impeccably dressed. It is easy to see where Fitz got his looks from.
"Dad, if it is about me joining the firm. I am not ready to do that. I moved back here to be closer to you and mom like I promised but. I like crunching numbers for my businesses."
"When you could be crunching numbers in the corporate world. Why do you insist on defying me?" Gerry asks.
Tom can feel it getting tense, "I am going to go get a couple boxes of wine." Fitz nods his departure.
"You already have an office with a hand carved desk that is just waiting for you to take ownership. Grant & Beene is just waiting for you," Gerry shakes head. Fitz gets up to go behind the bar. "Your mother said you will come in your own time."
"Maybe I will but for now. I like just doing what I am doing. Especially now," Fitz says thinking of Olivia.
"Would you consider a part time basis?" Gerry says.
"You should have been a lawyer, not an Accounting conglomerate," Fitz laughs. Gerry drops his head, Fitz can tell something is going on with him. "Dad, what's going on?"
"I need you son, the business needs you."
Fitz feels like he's about to get news that he doesn't hear. Will he?
Two Years Later:
Eli is greeting all his guests. He's so proud of his daughter. Liv graduated from Law School with honors. She's going to take Medical Law by storm. He has one daughter who's a superstar Nurse Practitioner. He couldn't be more proud. He just wishes Maya was here to see what his daughters have become.
"Daddy, you didn't have to do all this?"
"My daughter graduated from Law School. Of course I am going to do all this."
"Now I just have to pass the bar in the State of Massachusetts," Liv says.
"And you will! You already have your foot in the door at Langston and Associates."
"I know. I'm just nervous, that's all."
Eli takes her in his arms, "You are going to be fine baby girl. You are strong just like your mother and you are tenacious and stubborn and smart. You are going to make a damn fine lawyer and your mother would be damn proud you chose the field you chose."
"After she died, it stuck with me," Liv says tearily.
"I know, I know.."
Liv dries her eyes, "Who is this guy that Savannah's gonna bring to the party? They've been on 3 dates but that's all she'd tell me."
"All I know is, he's the son of one of her patients that died. They hit it off and decided to go on a date."
Liv smiles, "Well, good for her. I can't wait to meet him."
"Me either! I want to see if I need to pack my pistol for this guy at some point. I don't look good in orange but I'll wear it if I have to," Eli says as Liv chuckles. "I mean that for any guy you bring around too."
They go outside and Liv is immediately reunited with Abby and Harrison.
"There she is," Harrison says, picking her up and swinging her around.
"Put me down you goofball," Liv laughs, throwing her head back. Harrison puts her down and her and Abby scream at the top of their lungs at each other.
"I've missed you so much," Abby says.
"I've missed you too Red," Liv smiles, scrunching her hair.
"Are we going out tonight?" Harrison asks.
"Sounds like a plan. I better get all my partying in before I start studying for the bar," Liv says.
"You are going to ace it, Ace," Harrison assures her.
"Right now, we have to wait for Savannah and her new boyfriend," Liv announces.
"Savannah has a boyfriend," Abby asks.
"Apparently they've been on 3 dates or maybe this is the 3rd date. Anyway, dad says he's the son of one of her patients that died."
"That's kind of creepy," Harrison says, getting food off the buffet spread.
"Yeah a little morbid," Abby agrees.
Liv looks around, "Let's just see what he looks like."
Abby is looking, she sees Savannah appear and then she sees him. Abby does a double take. It can't be, not him. "Oh shit!" Abby says.
Liv is taking fruit off the fruit tray, "Shit what?" Liv says.
Abby sees Savannah is introducing him, "Oh shit!" Abby repeats.
"Red, what is wrong with you?" Harrison says.
Before she can say anything, Savannah is making a beeline for them. Harrison turns around and sees what Abby sees, "Oh shit!"
"What is wrong with you two?" Liv says.
Liv turns around and she sees him coming their way. Her chest begins to tighten. It's him. It's the man she left that she's regretted for the last two years. Why is he walking with her? She thinks to herself but she repeats Abby and Harrison's sentiments, "Oh shit!"
"Sis," Savannah says as Fitz has his head turned for a second. "We made it." As she grabs Liv and takes her into a hug. Fitz doesn't see the full face of the woman she's hugging. They break the hug, Fitz is stunned. It's her, it's the woman that got away. After 2 long years of looking for her, hoping she'll walk back into his life, she's here. "Liv this is Fitzgerald but everyone calls him Fitz. Fitz, this is my sister Olivia. Now you can put a name with a face."
To say Fitz is speechless would be an understatement. Liv is at a loss for words. Abby shoulder bumps Liv to say something. Liv finally decides to not make this any more awkward than it already is, she reaches out her hand to shake his. She smiles and says, "Hi!"
Fitz takes her hand in his, shaking it softly but not letting it go. They both feel a bolt of electricity flow through their body, "Hi!"
Well I am so glad I got that out of my system. What did you all think? No, I'm not writing anymore HAHAHAHAHA!
