Total Drama: The Second Sonatine
Interlude: Close your eyes, in front of your increasingly cloudy eyes, paradise (Unaired)
Close your eyes, at the end of one's remembrance...
There was sand.
Everywhere.
A faint groan was heard followed by the sound of someone getting up.
The view was blurred for a bit, but it cleared not too long after.
"Huh... where am I?" Beatrice asked herself, looking at her surroundings. Surely enough, everything was in a completely different scene compared to the extremely horrid ones she remembered... this was almost as if... it was paradise.
There was no sign of anything horrible; just a completely beautiful beach surrounds her. There were kids playing around, there were people bonding with each other, she could even hear the soothing sound of the ocean waves in the distance. It was something that she hadn't experience in for quite a while.
Where were the others? No, she didn't want to think of that for a while. If this is a dream, maybe I shouldn't wake up and I could just fall asleep forever, she thought. She really wanted to forget those traumatically vivid scenes that replayed in her head. Not to mention, herself shooting someone...
She stood up and walked around and saw Antoinette standing there watching the sea.
For her, she was completely lost and baffled; what was going on while she was gone? What has the show been running into? Just... what? And... why?
Stepping forward, she found herself just by the water. She bent down and brushed her hand against the crystal clear shallow water. She smiled. It was a while since she last been to a beach as well similar to Beatrice. But the things bugging in her mind aren't really helping at all.
Turning back, she looked at Beatrice. She didn't seemed to happy, nor too sad either. Just... thinking. Hoping that she wasn't thinking of that one thought that tore her apart.
Run away to a place where you can breathe...
May took a deep breath and inhaled in the cool air that embraced her. Her hand brushed against the dirt for a few seconds, taking her mind off of the reality for a while.
Surrounding her was a lush coniferous forest. She could feel herself just standing somewhere on a mountain.
This was her kind of paradise. She would really want to run away into a place like this.
Her life at home may be quite decent for the time being. Her time on the show may have been alright-
-if that didn't happen of course.
A hand was placed on her shoulder. She knew who it was and she didn't flinched on it. Turning back, she saw who she knew she would see. Her thoughts were fizzling in her mind, but it was a good thing as the only thing that rushed within her was peace.
"May-" she heard his quiet voice as he went to caress her hand. "Are you okay?"
"I feel okay every single time I'm with you, Ryder." the girl smiled, realizing how cheesy that sounded. Without much delay, she pressed her lips against his. She wanted to stay like that forever, but it was not possible. But even so, she felt safe with him around and she wanted to stay in his embrace as long as possible.
There are so many colors, l ike a mixture of paint
As Sami fluttered her eyes open, she could see several colors popping off to her eyes in a glimpse. Sitting up, what she realized was something she wasn't expecting...
An art room.
There was paint everywhere as someone had just came here and spill different colors of paint into the room instead of cleaning it with soap and water. But that didn't happen. The room itself looked like a piece of art into her eyes.
"This is your fault!"
"My fault? Ha! I was doing it for the sake of our safety!"
Her blood began to boil. Never had she hated fights so much in her life anymore. But just... who?
There were two people off to the side, arguing. She could already make out who they were.
Rival and Colin.
In Rival's eyes, he never wanted to argue with anyone either. But what if you were doing something for the sake of your being and others? His fists clenched and there was red paint on them. It looked like he had some on accident or maybe he tripped on somewhere with red paint on the ground, but that didn't matter now. He wanted answers. Answers to why he has been hated on by doing such a move; and answers as to how and why his only friend was eliminated.
Colin on the other hand, wanted to know some kind of the opposite. He didn't like the move the other boy pulled off... not one bit. Genuinely, and also possibly because of his negative nature, he would think that they would die out there thanks to him and that stunt he pulled. But at the same time, he was somehow a bit relieved that he was able to at least save him from the disaster. Even just for a bit. But nevertheless, this is what he got as thanks. And he needed answers as well to his what ifs.
Sami didn't know how to stop them as she just stood by, watching the two let out their anger.
What kind of paradise is this?
Unknown repeating days w ith people who try to change you, I see how y ou're getting dull in there
Vanessa smiled as she could hear the sound of a piano playing. It blended perfectly with the flute sounds that she's been hearing, never knowing that somehow these two instruments that she never expected would go together so well.
Gordon was always a fan of flutes. Even he was not even expecting these would somehow blend together. For a music room this small, it was already loud and clear for him, but at the same time, the sounds he was hearing sounded so soft and fragile.
He looked at Vanessa in the eyes. He loved her dearly but sometimes, there are those times he couldn't stand her attitude. He was doing things for the best for them in the game. His question was, why can't she accept that?
Vanessa would have thought the same thing towards him. What she didn't like were his actions and how close he could get to becoming a huge mess.
"I'm sorry."
"No, I'm sorry."
What? Now both of you are apologizing at the same time? Forgiving each other at the same time is still impossible.
Or maybe it isn't.
After all, they were both in a room with something that they were passionate about: music. One who loves to show her love for it dearly and one who secretly loves it and keeps to himself.
But either way, at least they were in their own paradise.
Even in your dreams you can't find the answer
Lyle found himself sitting on the very stage that got burned down to ashes not too long ago.
Out of everyone, he was the one that had to deal with the most confusion. He left for a pretty long time and it was pretty difficult for him to catch up on different things.
He looked forward. The one standing not too far in front of him was quite the opposite; not confused, but is a completely confusing person.
Misha had a lot of ups and downs and this was like no other. Now, you can't tell if she's genuinely being a good person is just joking around due to her rather foul nature. Her attitude may not seem one of the worst, but definitely isn't one of the best either.
"What happened?"
"I don't fucking know."
Of course Lyle would expect an answer like that from her out of all people. It stressed him. But at the same time, he wanted to understand it because it went down a hunch on her. Not only her, but everyone else as well.
Guess he wouldn't be able to find an answer after all.
You're not alone now, you don't have to be sad anymore, you're always in my heart
Alone?
Of course he is, he is always alone. He made himself to be that way. It's his fault.
Those were some phrases that ran through Pierre's mind. Never had he hated himself so much in his life now, and it's thanks to his several actions that caused others to hate him.
Almost every single time he appeared, he felt like he did something majorly wrong. Even he opened up about his own feelings of himself to everyone but was quickly replaced by something he shouldn't have done.
He laid down on the grass on top of a hill.
This was at least his temporary paradise for now.
Several thoughts went on his head.
Maybe when this is done, he should just change his name and leave his old name behind.
Maybe he should just disappear.
Or maybe just die instead.
What kind of thoughts are these?
Close your eyes, in front of your increasingly cloudy eyes, paradise
Well, Carter isn't always too fond of dreams.
He sat on his sleeping bag and watched everyone else asleep around him. What's the point of dreaming when you're in a reality you can't escape?
He looked at the starry sky above them and laid down, not minding the sleeping sounds and the snores that surround him.
The thoughts running on his head prevented him from sleeping. Then again, why should he sleep? Why should he try to escape the reality that is impossible to get out of?
For him, this might probably an even bigger mess than what he had in his past life.
And of course, he hated it.
