Years ago, The Conception occurred, an event in which the chosen remake the world in their image. One wished for a world without conflict and harmony, the other wished for a kingdom ruled primarily by strength where the weak served only the strong and the last wished for a world governed by independence and solitude. However, a young man once human after fighting the agents of death, The Fiends, gave up his humanity to lead the legions of chaos. After slaying the avatar of creation, Kagutsuchi and besting the Angel Of Darkness in battle, The man was deemed worthy to lead on His army to the fight against The Great Will himself.
After a long and tedious battle, the armies of Chaos were victorious and with The Great Will slain, The Fallen Angel, Lucifer had ascended the Throne Of Creation to the realm between the Earth and the Heavens. The True Demon, meanwhile, remained in solitude after the war. Rumors of his power still lingered on as stories of his power terrify and strike fear into even the boldest and mightiest of demons. This is the story of how The Hunter, The Slayer And The True Demon crossed paths.
In the middle of a desert somewhere, beyond the mighty towers of sand under the scorching red sun, a lone figure is seen. The person resembles a teenager with yellow eyes, black hair, small black shorts and black shoes. The figure's most identifiable features however, is his dark markings covering his entire body and the horn on the back of his neck, indicating the being's demonic power.
This is Naoki Kashima or that's at least what he was called when he was human, when he had his humanity intact, now he is feared by all demonkind as Hitoshura, The Demi-Fiend, The King Of Chaos, The True Demon.
The howling wind blew into Hitoshura's face as he retracted to his consciousness, recalling the past events of when the Conception of his old world happened, striving to survive where he had to rely only on his power and his demons. The smell of blood filling the air was somehow still fresh in his memory despite it being years ago when he had slain Kagutsuchi. Maybe it's natural for Hitoshura to recall such detail so vividly, it was everywhere he went even when there wasn't a drop of it anywhere.
Suddenly, a small demon resembling a fairy with red hair and a blue suit with blue stockings said to Hitoshura as she hovered over his right shoulder "Hey, are you alright? You look like someone punched you in the balls?."
"Tsk, it's nothing, Pixie, I'm just thinking about my former life, that's all." Hitoshura said as his mind drifted back to the event that permanently changed his life.
Years Ago:
The Old Man beckoned Hitoshura to accept the power he bestows, his old grizzled eyes giving away no signs of deceit as he raised his cane up. Suddenly, new demonic energy began to flow into Hitoshura, his eyes, markings and horn started briefly glowing deep crimson to signify his status as a complete demon of darkness.
Hitoshura then heard the sweet yet menacing tone of the Lady In Black uttering the words that would stick with him for the rest of his life "To the one who bears our strength and hope…May you forever prevail." when the lower platform he was standing on began to lower into the red liquid, seeing the Old Man's grin just mere seconds before plunging in, giving birth to the one who bears the entire might of demonkind.
Now:
Suddenly, Hitoshura's thoughts were interrupted by someone's voice. "Hey, are you sure you're alright?"
"I said I'm fine Pixie, no need to worry." Hitoshura said with a slight tone of annoyance when he began to sense an immense power, one that caught Hitoshura off guard.
The Demi-Fiend's surprised expression then turns into a savage grin as he declares "Good, I was starting to get bored."
Suddenly, The Demi-Fiend began to stare into the endless wave of sand, seeing the silhouette of someone approaching. It looked like a human of sorts, but there was something different about him. This individual was wearing green armor, a huge gun-like structure was resting on his left shoulder, his helmet had a blue visor and he was carrying a shotgun of sorts.
Heh, a shotgun? What is that gonna do to the Demi-Fiend of all people?
Hitoshura then lifted his left hand, summoning pillars of flickering crimson energy that converged into two shapes, one was a massive wolf-like demon with yellow eyes, white fur and a lizard-like tail, another was a humanoid wearing a white suit of armor with a white cape, carrying a spear. The spear-wielding demon, Cu Chulainn then lunged forward with spear in hand, prompting the armored marine to dodge the attack. The demon dog, Cerberus then attempted to pounce on the warrior but the latter grabbed Cerberus by its tail, striking Cu Chulainn with enough force to crack open Cerberus' skull, causing the dog demon to slowly turn into red energy as the stranger tossed what remained of Cerberus before it dissipated.
Cu Chulainn then stood back up, declaring heroically "I, Cu Chulainn will be the one to…" but before he could finish, The stranger shot at Cu Chulainn, leaving a massive gaping hole on his chest as the stranger kicked away Cu Chulainn, sending him crashing into a tower of sand as he dissipated into red light.
The stranger then noticed the earth started to crumble as the Demi-Fiend held his hands in front of himself when he roared "GAEA RAGE!." Suddenly, the ground around them rumbled and broke as the entire plains of sand collapsed, revealing splintering pillars of rock that changed the entire area to a hellish arena with sharp spikes forming a cage and lava flowing through. The armored marine was unharmed as his armor showed no signs of damage.
"Hmph, impressive." the figure spoke in a deep voice.
Hitoshura retorted "Oh, so you can speak after all huh."
"If you want to know why I'm here, you're gonna have to beat me first, kid." the figure replied.
Hitoshura said with an evil grin "Now where have I heard that before, it's been a long time since someone called me kid."
Hitoshura rushed off to the stranger, kicking him in the gut when he yelled out at the top of his lungs "JAVELIN RAIN." The armored fighter looked up to see javelins made of golden energy raining from the sky, prompting the stranger to jump out of the way of the attack while he retracted a sharp blade from his left arm, attempting to slash Hitoshura when the latter grabbed the blade, trying to break it off as the stranger putted in more force into the attack while the blade started to heat up from the force each are putting into their attacks. The marine's blade was glowing orange and started to form small cracks.
The figure's shoulder cannon suddenly spewed out deep red flames that made contact with Hitoshura's skin.
Hitoshura, unfazed by the flames, punched the stranger 10 feet away, rushing towards his fallen foe to end the fight when the stranger brought out his shotgun and managed to shoot Hitoshura in the gut, blasting a massive hole in him while the Demi-Fiend coughed up blood, falling on his feet.
"HITOSHURA!" Pixie yelled out concerned as Hitoshura stood back up with the wound being covered up by a red smoke-like mist as it suddenly dissipated, revealing the hole had disappeared.
"Damn, that actually hurt, who are you anyway?" Hitoshura asked.
The stranger said in a gruff tone "Told ya kid, if you want to know, you're gonna have to beat me first."
"Well, it certainly has been a while since someone was able to make me bleed." Hitoshura said in an arrogant tone as the armored stranger rushed up and punched Hitoshura where he was sent 10 feet into the sand. Hitoshura then stands on his feet, heavily breathing as his heartbeat starts to exhilarate.
"I'm actually getting excited, it's been a long time since someone actually hurt me." The Demi-Fiend said in an ecstatic tone as he sees the stranger's eyes behind the visor, filled with savage intent on murder and violence in which Hitoshura flashed his demonic grin. The armored marine suddenly rushed forward as he leapt on high, attempting to deliver the finishing blow as energy started to surround Hitoshura where it gathered in front of his face as a white ball of energy, preparing to fire off a powerful energy wave.
"FREIKUGEL!" Hitoshura yelled as a pale white energy beam was shot from his eyes, successfully catching the armored stranger off guard, sending him several feet away.
"Heh, real impressive kid, it seems you have gotten stronger since we last met." A voice said, prompting the Demi-Fiend to turn his head to where it was coming from.
A 20-30 year old man, muscular and with locks of white hair, a red trench coat with a black shirt underneath, black pants, black boots and a large sword on his back appeared and Hitoshura, with a surprised look on his face, recognized the newcomer.
"I remember you, i met you years ago, you're that Devil Hunter Dante right?." Hitoshura said as Dante replied "I'm surprised you remember me kid, I assume that you already met Doomguy here right?"
"Doomguy?" Hitoshura said.
Doomguy replied "I'm surprised that you actually slightly burnt my armor, you must have some power for my partner here to consider an asset."
"The hell are you talking about, what do you mean an 'asset'?" The Demi-Fiend said in a suspicious tone.
Dante explained "Well, you see kid, me and my partner here are on a case and it's a bit of a doozy for both of us alone so i was hoping if you could…".
"No." was what Hitoshura said as Dante replied "I'm not even finished." Hitoshura continued "It's obvious what you want from me, I'm not going to help you do shit, it has nothing to do with me so why should i be concerned with what humanity is going through?"
"Now listen you little prick, we didn't come all this way to get denied by some little kid with tattoos so you either help us with this monster we're dealing with or you can stay in this level of Hell forever." Doomguy said in an agitated tone.
Dante then said "Whatever, I guess you're not interested in a strong opponent."
"What was that?" Hitoshura said as Dante elaborated "We're actually hunting down this powerful being so do you want to stay in here and miss the fun or help us take this guy down?."
Hitoshura then contemplated for a minute, struggling to make a choice when Pixie hovered over and said "I say that you go with them, it may make a good fight."
"Hmph, fine, I'll go with you two but know this, I'm not doing it for you." Hitoshura said in a cold tone.
Dante then replied "Splendid, the more, the merrier".
"I got my eye on you, kid, try to do anything funny, you're dead." Doomguy growled towards the Demi-Fiend as a portal suddenly opened up behind them with Doomguy, Dante, and Demi-Fiend walking through with Pixie hovering beside the latter. The group then find themselves in Doomguy's Fortress Of Doom.
Doomguy noticed Pixie hovering over the Demi-Fiend and said "Hold on, that fairy should not be here."
Hitoshura replied "Too bad pops, where I go, she goes whether you like it or not." right before heading off into a seperate room.
"Come on Doomguy, let the little lady stay with us, it's not like she's gonna hurt us." Dante said
Doomguy replied "Yeah but still, we have no idea what these two can do, for all I know they can probably kill us both ."
"Then why did you agree to help me track Hitoshura down?." Dante replied.
"i..why i…because i wanna see whether or not the kid is actually willing and as far as i know, he's only coming with us just so he can fight the monster." Doomguy said.
"And that's a problem because?." Dante replied confused
Doomguy said in a gruff tone "He obviously doesn't care for anyone but himself and that fairy demon, he might actually betray us."
"Calm down Doomguy, i know this guy alright, he may be a demon but he was human once and he may actually still have trust for us."
Meanwhile in the other room:
Hitoshura was resting on Doomguy's chair as Pixie said "Should we really trust these guys? I mean, you can probably trust Dante but I don't know about that Doomguy person, he seems way too distrusting to me."
"Yeah, no shit Pixie, I can tell he hates my guts, he must really hate demons, although I have no idea why he trusts Dante?" Hitoshura said with distrust.
"Maybe it's because he's half demon or maybe it's because Dante's not that much of a bad guy." Pixie said.
Demi-Fiend replied "Well, if they ever do anything funny, they are as good as dead."
In New York City:
A purple smoke had enveloped the city, leaving its citizens dumbfounded and blind to the dark horrors that plaque their city. Several humans are being absorbed by a pink goo that later returns to a small pink demon the size of a child. He was wearing white pants with a belt that had the letter M on it.
Suddenly, a cloaked figure appeared on top of an abandoned church declaring "Yes, absorb more beings, become stronger, extinguish this world like you have the others, Majin Buu."
Buu then chuckled demonicaly as he went out to destroy and absorb more people.
"Soon, this universe will soon bow before me and Majin Buu will make that a reality." the cloaked figure said to himself before disappearing into smoke.
Back on the Fortress Of Doom:
Doomguy and Dante heard the broadcast on Doomguy's radio which stated "This is ARC news, a mysterious purple cloud has enshrined the city of New York, leaving it a dark maze…wait this just came in, mysterious disappearances are being blamed on a sighted creature that is seen absorbing people through it's pink gelatinous goo, reports are stating that everyone stay in their homes until the ARC and S.H.I.E.L.D get to the bottom of this, ARC out."
"Didn't expect S.H.I.E.L.D to be involved, they must be really desperate." Dante said surprised.
Doomguy replied bluntly "Agreed, whatever we're dealing with here is way beyond their grasp, not that they will do anything 'bout it." when they both heard a voice saying "Majin Buu, that must be who they are dealing with".
The two turned around to see the Demi-Fiend and Pixie standing when Doomguy said curiously "Who's Majin Buu?".
"An ancient being that ravaged the universe eons ago until he was sealed away by the Kais, someone must have woken him up from his sleep." Hitoshura explained
Dante then said "How do you even know who Buu is?".
"He's actually something of a legend among the demons, I didn't actually believe he was real." Hitoshura explained.
Doomguy replied with a suspicious tone "How can we even trust this information is true?".
"I have no reason to lie to you, besides I only heard about Majin Buu from several demons who believed he was real." Hitoshura said with an indifferent tone.
"Well damn, if this Majin Buu is this powerful to give some gods problems, then we are in for one hell of a party" Dante exclaimed.
Doomguy boldly replied "We will win this, all we need is some wit, courage and probably some guns, although I doubt Mr. Kid with tattoos doesn't need the latter".
"I heard that, Helmet-Head, call me that again, I'll kill you." Hitoshura said in an annoyed tone.
"Don't you dare call me Helmet-Head, I'll shoot your head clean off." Doomguy said in an angry tone.
"Heh, funny you should say that cause last i recall, you lost." The Demi-Fiend said with a smug grin etching on his lips.
Doomguy angrily replied "I did not lose to you, I would never lose to some smug little shit who thinks he is so high and mighty just because he killed a giant disco ball."
"That's enough you two, if we need to beat Majin Buu then we should at least come together." Dante said as the Demi-Fiend rolled his eyes.
Doomguy answered "Fine, I will lay off for now but if Demi-Boy here does anything funny, he's dead."
"Hmph, I would like you to see you try to kill me." Hitoshura said arrogantly.
Dante replied in a slightly annoyed "Y'know, for a demon you sure can annoy people, i'll tell you that much."
Hitoshura then replied "Oh, i'm the annoying one, that's rich coming from you."
Doomguy then set the coordinates to New York, preparing to ready the portal when Hitoshura said to Doomguy "Why is it that you trust Dante and not me?"
For a minute, Doomguy was silent, trying to think of something to say until he said "Good question." when he suddenly activated the portal to New York.
"Well, let's just say that we have something in common, kid." Dante said.
Hitoshura then said to himself "Well that's not cryptic at all?".
Doomguy, Dante and the Demi-Fiend enter through the portal, finding themselves in New York but something was off. A dark purple fog enveloped the city, cloaking the trio from the horror that still prowls through the streets.
"So, what do we do now?" Hitoshura said as Doomguy replies "We find Majin Buu and kill him, so kid, do you know what he can do?".
"Apparently, he can stretch his body, absorb people, turn people into candy…" Hitoshura began to say when Dante cut him off, saying in a confused tone "Wait, turn people into candy? So are we dealing with a 5 year old?"
"Well, that's what I heard, for all I know, those demons might've lied to me." Hitoshura said.
Doomguy replied "Well, whatever he's capable of, we should be ready to at the very least, be able to counter it."
Suddenly, they heard a sinister laugh coming from an abandoned church that was runned down and surrounded in a purple barrier. The trio then walked up, noticing the barrier was magic in nature as the Demi-Fiend said "Allow me." when his right fist was covered in green, ethereal flames. Hitoshura then punched through the barrier, causing it to be burned by the same flame-like energy produced by Hitoshura.
"How did you do that?" Doomguy said, confused as the Demi-Fiend explained "Just an ability given to me by the boss downstairs".
"Welp, that takes care of the magic barrier, now to find Majin Buu." Dante said when Hitoshura sensed a bizarre energy signature coming from above the church. A small pink humanoid wearing baggy white pants and a belt with the letter M engraved flew up to the trio and let out a roar, prompting Hitoshura to say in a sarcastic tone "Talk about a gifted speaker."
Dante then replied "Woah, talk about bad breath, tell you what Buu, how about next time you use a mint."
Buu charged up to the group, getting ready to kill them when Hitoshura kicked the small Majin into several pieces.
"Quickly, before he regenerates." Hitoshura yelled as he, Doomguy and Dante began to burn and shoot the pieces of Buu into oblivion. Suddenly, Dante was struck with purple electricity, momentarily stunning him for one of Buu's pieces to absorb him.
Doomguy and Hitoshura then saw someone walking from the abandoned church. He resembled a person wearing a white garb stitched with human faces and stained with blood wearing a mask made from a human face covering his mouth. Hitoshura was momentarily surprised as he recognized the figure but he suddenly regained his composure.
"So you're the idiot who woke Buu from his sleep, let me take a guess, you're trying to use Buu for some ridiculous plot, ain't 'cha?" Hitoshura said coldly.
the stranger said "Yes, i might as well introduce myself to your green friend over there, i'm called Sakahagi and i resurrected Majin Buu for a specific task which i'm not inclined to tell you about but i will let you play with Majin Buu for a little bit." as the figure disappeared into the shadows. Majin Buu's pieces then began to come together as the piece containing Dante was absorbed into the pink demon.
"d..Damn, if we don't free Dante from Buu, then we're not gonna make it out of here alive." Doomguy said as the pink majin began to reform itself. Suddenly, Buu took on a more grownup and mature look as he appeared more taller and muscular, his upper half has Dante's red trench coat, a copy of his sword Rebellion on his back and the antenna on his head is longer.
"Heh, so this is the power of the son of Sparda? Not bad, I can get used to this." Majin Buu said as power began to flow through him.
"Hmph, okay Doomguy, I'll stay and take him on, you chase after Sakahagi." Hitoshura said as Doomguy silently nodded when he ran inside the church while the Demi-Fiend gave off a silent glare towards the Majin. No words were spoken in a short time with the sharp, cold wind blowing in the background.
The two continued to glare towards each other when their auras suddenly flared towards each other, crashing against each other like the raging tides of the ocean. Suddenly, Majin Buu thrusted his right foot into the ground, striking the Demi-Fiend as his foot collided with Hitoshura's chin but to the Majin's surprise, Hitoshura just gave off a demonic grin.
"What? This guy is just smiling?" Buu thought to himself as he continued "Is this guy making me look like an idiot?". Buu then lunged with a copy of Dante's sword, Rebellion in hand to strike his opponent but suddenly, Hitoshura grabbed the tip of the blade with his right hand, surprising the Majin even further. Hitoshura then grabbed the Majin's antenna with his free hand, tossing Buu around as he slammed him into a wall.
"So, this is the mighty Majin Buu huh, you seem rather pathetic compared to me." The Demi-Fiend said bluntly while Buu stood back up, glaring at Hitoshura with annoyance.
"Don't get cocky now, human." Majin Buu snarled with anger as the Demi-Fiend said in a mocking tone "Do i look like a human to you, you fat, pink tub of lard."
"w..What? I'll kill you!" Majin Buu roared as he grabbed his copy of Dante's Rebellion, charging toward Hitoshura when he managed to stab through him, drawing massive amounts of blood as he poured over the ground.
Majin Buu, filled with arrogant pride, said "Heh, i bet you must be feeling stupid now!". Buu then looked up, expecting fear and agony in his victim's face, only to be surprised by Hitoshura's demonic grin adorned on his face.
"What? Were you expecting me to cower like a pussy after you drew that much blood?" The Demi-Fiend uttered out with a demonic grin on his face as Majin Buu growled with anger as his rage began to flow through him, filling him with hate.
"How is this possible?" Majin Buu thought to himself. "There is no one in the universe that can rival my power, especially since I absorbed the power of Sparda's little brat!".
"If you're done acting impulsively like a little kid, then let's get this over with." Hitoshura declared as Majin Buu then utilized Dante's power, cloaking himself in a red aura with black electricity sparking around him.
Buu roared out "I am the terror of the universe, i kill as i please and no one is going to stop me, not even a sniveling little shit like YOU!"
The Demi-Fiend was then surrounded in a green flame-like aura as his eyes and tattoos briefly glowed red. "Alright, let's go then." Hitoshura said in an arrogant tone as he rushed forward, driving a fist deep within the Majin as green emerald flames surrounded the Majin when a brief flash of light surrounded the two. Dante was then separated from Buu.
"w..WHAT? How did you…" Majin Buu was going to say before Hitoshura's flames began to incinerate the Majin from the inside, consuming his nigh-regenerative flesh.
Hitoshura said in a cold tone "Die." as his right hand was surrounded in a bright, golden light as Hitoshura raised his hand up, charging an energy attack.
"DIVINE SHOT!" Hitoshura yelled out as a beam of holy energy was shot out from Hitoshura's palm, piercing through Buu and managing to disintegrate him. Majin Buu's entire body was erased from existence.
"Heh,'bout damn time i killed him." Hitoshura said when Dante woke up, saying in a groggy voice "Damn, now I know what it feels to be eaten, What happened?."
"To put it bluntly, you were absorbed by the pink man but I managed to get you out of him." Hitoshura said in a nonchalant tone.
"Where's Doomguy?" Dante said worriedly.
Hitoshura replied "He went inside that church, apparently, Someone i once knew from my old world woke Buu up from his sleep." Hitoshura then lifted Dante up with his right hand as the two walked into the church to meet up with Doomguy.
Meanwhile:
Doomguy was strolling inside the abandoned church with the intent to hunt down Sakahagi when he saw the dead bodies of innocent people, laying dead as their blood painted the floor crimson.
Doomguy's rage then grew when he saw a shadow move. It was a gigantic demon with deep red fur that matched the palette of blood, it's eyes glowed a deep yellow, resembling mortal carnal flames, it's stature was dog-like, it's head resembling a wolfish creature with razor sharp blade-like intrusions from it's mouth and a ash colored reptilian tail with a scorpion stinger was raised above its body, waiting to strike its opponent. Doomguy glared at the beast, noticing the wet blood dripping from the tip of its bladed tail as the Slayer's anger grew even more. Doomguy grabbed his Super Shotgun from his back as he loaded it with two cartridges. The hellhound growled and tread over a nearby body as Doomguy immediately fired his shotgun, managing to wound the demon.
It suddenly roared out as its wound suddenly grew new layers of tissue to cover its wound, regenerating it's shattered flesh. The demon pounced on Doomguy, knocking his Super Shotgun out of his hand as it tried to maul it's prey, scratching and burning at Doomguy's armor with its hot breath. Doomguy then tried to reach for his shotgun, trying to stretch his arm just to grab it but the demon's continued assault prevented him from reaching it. Suddenly, Doomguy used his arm-mounted cannon to fire an ice grenade in the demon's mouth, freezing the infernal dog in place as Doomguy sliced the demon in half with his Doom blade attachment on his left arm, shattering the frozen daemon in pieces.
Doomguy walked over to his Super Shotgun to pick it up when he noticed a humanoid shape move, it was Sakahagi who was wielding a massive knife that was dripping with blood.
Doomguy just stood as Sakahagi replied "So you're the mighty Doom-Slayer, I don't need anyone to interfere with my plan, now go on and die!" when the shadows in the church then flowed to a nearby pool of blood, summoning yet another demon. This one resembles a massive elephant like creature with green skin, a massive sword in its right hand and a single cyclopean eye.
"I am Girimekhala of the Vile Clan, Time to die, Slayer." The Demon bellowed as it swung its gigantic blade towards Doomguy who managed to dodge by ducking beneath the blade, running up against the demon's right leg, slashing at it with his Doom-Blade as red smoke began to seep from the wound. Girimekhala began to roar out in pain and rage as it began to slash more and more, missing the Space Marine each time as its anger grew more.
Doomguy then ran up Girimekhala's sword shooting at the demon's eye using the Super Shotgun, killing the demon as its body fell down, turning into red energy. Doomguy then spun his shotgun around Terminator style as he put his shotgun away, uttering out "Groovy."
"w..WHAT?" Sakahagi said as his shock turned into amused laughter as he said "I used some of the Magatsuhi I gained to summon that demon and you were able to beat him, you must be one hell of a monster."
Sakahagi snapped his fingers, disappearing in a puff of smoke when suddenly two figures ran in.
Doomguy turns around and sees Dante and Hitoshura running in when the former said "Where did Sakahagi go?."
"He disappeared just when I cornered him." Doomguy replied when the Demi-Fiend asked Doomguy "Did Sakahagi mention anything about Magatsuhi?"
"Yes." Doomguy said when Dante said to Hitoshura "The hell's Magatsuhi?".
"It's energy born from the overflowing emotions of humans or beings born from emotions that demons feast upon to sustain themselves, it can also be used in different ways such as summoning for example." Hitoshura explained as Dante flashed a cocky smile.
"Tell me, does Magatsuhi have enough power to merge two worlds together?" Dante said when Hitoshura replied "It may be possible but that would require a shit-ton of Magatsuhi to do so unless…"
"Our man of the hour must've used Majin Buu to gather Magatsuhi for him so he won't have to do the dirty work." Dante figured it out when Doomguy said "And his master plan must be to reunite the human and demon worlds."
"Heh, same song, same tune, this wouldn't be the first time this kind of bullshit happened and it certainly won't be the last." Dante said in a cocky tone.
Hitoshura replied "It's near, the flow of Magatsuhi is nearby." Dante then kicked the door into the other room open, startling Sakahagi when the latter said in a shaky voice "How did you find me here?".
"I sensed the Magatsuhi in this room, afterall Magatsuhi is what us demons crave!" Hitoshura arrogantly said when Dante fired off a shot from his left pistol, injuring Sakahagi as his right leg was left bleeding and just as he was about to fire off an electric bolt, he was shot in the right shoulder by Doomguy's Shotgun.
"So Dante, want to do the honors?" Hitoshura uttered out as Dante replied "I might as well, this is payback for that pink blob absorbing me."
Dante then lifted his sword, Rebellion, just above Sakahagi's head. "Any last words before I slice you up?"
Sakahagi then lifted his head, whispering "Go to hell." when his right arm grabbed his knife, stabbing it through Dante's chest as the latter suddenly tumbled down.
Sakahagi then stood up and uttered out "With the power of Magatsuhi, I shall reclaim my true self." Dante then pulled the knife out of his chest as he rushed to stop the evil Manikin from absorbing the Magatsuhi but suddenly, a flash of red energy swirled around Sakahagi, transforming him into a monstrous pink-skinned demon with red eyes, purple armor on his body, long sharp claws, a long saurian tail with a stinger, ox horns and a third red eye on his forehead. "Y'know, i actually liked your normal form but your new form suits you better." Dante said when he heard Hitoshura say in a surprised tone "What? Sakahagi..is…Majin Ozotto?" Hitoshura said as Dante replied "Who?".
Hitoshura explained "Years ago, Majin Ozotto was originally a demon god who served under Lucifer but he was banished after he tried to overtake Lucifer and his throne, I had no idea he actually existed."
"Well kid, I guess some legends do exist." Dante said as Ozotto replied in a sinister tone "Yes, I indeed am Majin Ozotto, finally free from my prison as a miserable Manikin. Lucifer and Beelzebub will suffer for placing my essence in a mud doll construct, now it's time…TO DIE!"
Ozotto gave off a demonic glare towards the team before letting off a demonic grin as he then fired off a beam of purple electricity from his right index finger towards Doomguy who dodged the attack as Dante unsheathed his sword, slashing at Ozzoto as the fallen demon god used his power to open up portals to send Dante to another location.
Dante then fell into a pond, getting himself out of it as his trenchcoat was soaking wet. Dante suddenly found himself at an abandoned city park.
"Well, I guess I do need a walk in the park." Dante thought to himself when he suddenly saw an abandoned motorcycle nearby. Dante then walked towards the bike and managed to start it.
"I don't think they'll mind if I use this bike." Dante thought to himself as he rode the bike towards the fight.
Meanwhile, Doomguy manages to wound Ozotto by slicing his arm, drawing blood when Ozotto mutters to himself "Damn it, this body is still tangible, I'll need more Magatsuhi to regain my power."
Hitoshura then covers his left fist in green flames when he yells out "Try surviving this, you bastard!" as he punched Ozotto with enough force to send him crashing out of the church and into the streets.
Ozotto then spots several people nearby and he cackled as he said "Be grateful that your energy will serve for an even grander purpose."
Doomguy and Hitoshura ran out of the church, finding the fog had disappeared.
"It must have cleared out after Ozotto reverted back to his original form." The Demi-Fiend uttered out as he observed the now clear city streets.
"Well no shit, where the hell did Ozotto crash anyway?" Doomguy said out loud as he scanned the area for any signs of Ozotto. Suddenly, Hitoshura sensed Magatsuhi being drained nearby, prompting Hitoshura and Doomguy to check it out.
Suddenly, the duo saw Majin Ozotto draining Magatsuhi from a nearby woman, prompting Hitoshura to say in a disgusted tone "Draining Magatsuhi from a poor defenseless woman, that's quite low for a former demon god, i thought you would have better etiquette than that."
"Heh, so you, a demon, think that draining a weakling of precious energy is low? Greed is a demon's virtue Demi-Fiend but I presume you already know that, right?" Majin Ozzoto said as he continued "Demons never tolerate such weak feeble beings so why is it you defend them."
"Oh I really don't give a shit about them, I just don't like it when one forcibly asserts their power over them. It's just…how do I say this….pathetic, almost like you're compensating for something." Hitoshura said coldly.
Majin Ozzoto replied in a visibly annoyed tone "You would dare deny your nature to assert dominance over weaklings, what a shame…." but suddenly, Doomguy fired his Super Shotgun which shot off Ozzoto's right arm.
"You talk too much." Doomguy said in a gruff tone when Ozzoto growled in an annoyed tone "You would dare shoot my arm off, Slayer." as he picked it back up, attaching it back onto his stump.
"You're a massive hindrance to my plans, Slayer." Ozzoto said as he opened a portal, transporting Doomguy to another location.
Doomguy is teleported to another location, this time an abandoned building miles away from the church infested with multiple demons. "These must be the demons Ozzoto tried to summon earlier." Doomguy thought to himself when one of the demons lunged towards Doomguy, prompting the Slayer to punch the demon in the face, spewing blood as its jaws cracked and its skull shattered, oozing out blood and brain matter on the floor. The other demons growled and snarled towards the Slayer as they swarmed him, getting ready to attack.
Doomguy notices a weakened wall and without hesitation, uses the Meat Hook attachment on his Shotgun to fire the hook onto the wall. Doomguy then yanks the chain with his right hand, bringing the wall down onto the demons, killing them.
Doomguy suddenly felt the floor beneath starting to shake as the building began to fall apart. "Damn, everytime i'm somewhere it always has to fall apart." Doomguy said as he jumped out of a nearby window, landing on the top of an apartment as he observed the building fall down. Doomguy then scans the city on the top of the building, noticing a massive blaze happening miles away.
"Must be from the fight between Ozzoto and the kid, he better not screw this up." Doomguy thought to himself as he then jumped from the top of the building he stood on, the force of his momentum causing a small crater to form beneath him.
Several citizens then see Doomguy and say "It's him, the Doom-Slayer has come to save us all."
"Oh shit, they noticed me. How am I gonna get out of this?" Doomguy thinks to himself when he suddenly hears a motorcycle roaring in the background. Suddenly, a red 2013 Harley Davidson FXSB Break-Out roared into view with a 30 year old man with white hair, red trench coat with a black shirt, black jeans and black boots riding on top of it.
"Well Doomguy, it seems Ozzoto teleported you too huh?" Dante said as Doomguy replied "Yeah, but I don't think he realizes the big mistake he made sending just both of us here."
"Yeah, i didn't think he would be this dumb to not send the kid away, well let's see if the kid has enough power to beat Ozzoto." Dante said as he peers into the distance, seeing the fire and destruction ahead.
Meanwhile, Majin Ozzoto began to slowly overwhelm the Demi-Fiend, using tricks and strong magic to slowly overwhelm the King Of Chaos.
"Well Demi-Fiend, it seems your power is starting to fade, tell me, how does it feel to be bested by your God?" Majin Ozzoto said as he laid his right foot on Hitoshura's head, slowly trying to crush his skull.
Hitoshura only chuckled before saying in a mocking tone "You? A God? Trust me dumbass, I killed Gods before, you're nothing to me."
Ozzoto's foot began to press harder against Hitoshura's head, declaring "You would dare mock me? I've existed much longer than your pathetic lifespan had allowed you. To me, you're just a mere child."
"Jesus fucking christ, will you ever shut up?" Hitoshura growled in annoyance as his right hand was surrounded in a green flame, getting ready to punch Ozzoto, only for the latter to wrap his tail around his arm, breaking his bones, causing the Demi-Fiend to scream in pain.
Ozzoto then frowned and lifted his right hand, charging a black ki-ball with white electric sparks. Suddenly, Ozzoto was shot, spilling blood from his body. Furious, Ozzoto looked behind him, finding Doomguy with his Super Shotgun held out in his right hand.
"y…YOU!...YOU!" Ozzoto roared out when a massive greatsword was thrown towards him, stabbing him in the stomach when two gunshots drove the sword in further. Hitoshura looked up to see Dante in his Devil Trigger form. Dante then flew down, summoning back his sword, Rebellion as it flew back into his hand.
Dante then said to Hitoshura "You okay kid?".
"Don't act so pitiful for me, I don't need your sympathy." Hitoshura replied.
Doomguy broke open his shotgun's barrel, inserting two bullets saying "This coming from the kid who was losing to Ozzoto." right before closing the shotgun's barrel.
Ozzoto then punched and elbow dropped Hitoshura, causing the latter to puke out blood which prompted Dante to say "Stop it, he's just a kid!".
"I thought I said I didn't need your sympathy, Dante!" The Demi-Fiend growled when Ozzoto forcibly grabbed Hitoshura's head, using his other hand to create a portal whom he threw the Demi-Fiend into, sending him to another location.
"Now, we will fight with no interruptions." Majin Ozzoto arrogantly uttered out as he was surrounded in a black aura, preparing to fight the Devil Hunter and the Hellwalker. Dante and Doomguy then nodded to each other, getting ready to fight the fallen Demon God.
Meanwhile, Pixie was flying around, looking for Hitoshura as she said to herself "Now where did Hitoshura go? I leave him alone with those two weirdos for an hour and he suddenly disappears out of the blue." Pixie then notices a portal opening above an abandoned hospital which spouted out Hitoshura as he falls down into the hospital, crashing through its roof.
"h…HITOSHURA!" Pixie yelled out, flying towards the location. When she flew in, she saw Hitoshura passed out on the floor, covered in blood.
"Hitoshura? Wake up, please!" Pixie yelled when she kneeled on his chest, leaning in to check his heartbeat. Silence, dead silence was all she heard when she tried to use Recarm on Hitoshura, managing to heal his wounds but Hitoshura was still unconscious. "Hitoshura, why won't you wake up? Please wake up!" Pixie yelled out as tears began to run from her eyes.
Meanwhile in Hitoshura's mind:
The Demi-Fiend finds himself on a cross, binded by chains and surrounded by a sea of fire. "Where the hell am i? Am I really dead? Is this supposed to be Hell? Or somewhere else?" Hitoshura thought to himself, surveying the area when the flames suddenly took the shape of skeletal figures surrounding him.
"Well, ain't this a pitiable display? The King Of Chaos is giving in to the peer pressure of his foe." The skeleton dressed as a bullfighter exclaimed in a disappointed tone.
"The negative karma of Majin Ozzoto's words is affecting your soul Young One, this is what Ozzoto wishes, he's trying to destroy your will to fight." The skeleton dressed as a buddhist monk exclaimed.
"If ya think you're gonna let that Ozzoto bastard mess you up like that, then you're dead wrong." A skeleton dressed up as a biker sitting on top of a flaming motorcycle barked out.
"Heh, why would you Fiends care 'bout my own problems?" Demi-Fiend asked as a cloaked skeleton with a crown and bow setting on the top of a white steed with multiple eyes replied "If you're the King Of Chaos, then you should unleash the latent power of the Fiends you gained after defeating us."
"Your hesitance to use our power is costing your life, you are wasting such unbridled power or is it you never knew this fact until now?." A cloaked skeleton with a broadsword and red horse with blue eyes uttered.
"If thy will must survive thine trials, then thou shalt need aid from thine former enemies." Another cloaked skeleton with a set of scales setting on top of a jet black steed said.
"Demi Fiend, if you're to survive this trial of combat, you first need to absorb the power of the Fiends, the power of Death itself to surpass Majin Ozzoto." A cloaked skeleton wielding a scythe, sitting on a pale horse said.
"I did not expect all of you to lend me your power." The Demi-Fiend said as a skeletal woman in a red dress, sitting on top of a massive seven headed beast uttered out "In order to surpass such a formidable Demon God, you will need to embrace the greatest pleasure of all, the ecstasy of Death itself."
"To surpass that which is living, you need to fill your soul with the fires of Death." A skeleton with a black and white robe, angel wings, carrying a trumpet in his skeletal hands said as the Demi-Fiend replied "So I need the power of you Fiends just to stand a chance against Ozzoto? Well obviously I came just for a fight and I did not come here to die so….what the hell are we waiting for, let's go kick some Demon god ass!"
"Very well, that was the answer we were expecting, now the Fiends present to you our power." The Pale Rider said when they suddenly reverted back to green flames that converged into the Demi-Fiend, overflowing his body with new power. The intensity of the flames was enough to burn the cross and melt the chains that were binding Hitoshura.
Hitoshura's body then started to jitter, causing Pixie to take immediate notice. "Oh no, don't tell me he accepted the Fiends' power?" Hitoshura then opened his eyes, now glowing red as his body was surrounded in a deep crimson aura that blazed out of control like an uncontrollable wildfire. This aura enveloped the Demi-Fiend like a raging fire consuming him when he suddenly sprouted wings on his back. The Demi-Fiend, still enveloped in his aura, flew into the sky, heading back to the fight.
Pixie looks on in disbelief as she utters out "Can he control the power of the Fiends?"
Meanwhile, Dante and Doomguy were still fighting Majin Ozzoto as Doomguy uses his Crucible Blade to slice off Ozzoto's right arm while Dante uses his twin pistols to shoot Ozzoto in the chest with enough force to send the Demon God back 10 feet. Ozzoto, however, grins as he picks his arm back up, placing it back. "It's no use Heroes, you're powerless to stand against me."
Ozzoto then fired off a powerful shockwave from his left hand, careening the heroes back as Dante reverted back to his human form. "Ah shit, that seriously hurt." Dante said as Doomguy replied "C…Can't give up…now."
"It's over weaklings, you lost this fight." Ozzoto said as he prepared a giant energy ball in his hands, raising it above him. Dante and Doomguy then see a flaming red light heading towards them at high speed. Ozzoto then notices the light and teleports away to evade. After the red light had crashed near them, the flaming figure suddenly stood up as the flaming aura dissipated. Dante and Doomguy are shocked at what they saw when the figure was enveloped in a black, insectoid exoskeleton with gray platings on his shoulders, chest and knees, his markings are now blood red, his eyes are deep crimson red, a pair of massive gray bat wings with a green undertone rest on his back, insectoid horns adorn his head, his hands are adorned with razor sharp claws and his hair is wilder and longer.
"i..Is that you kid?" Dante said towards the Demi-Fiend as the latter replied "Damn right it is Dante, i suggest you don't get in my way, i have a score to settle with Majin Ozzoto here, i suggest you do the same, Doomguy or i will kill you."
"Fine, but know this kid, i let you do this once but don't let it get to your head." Doomguy said before collapsing from exhaustion.
"So, the King Of Chaos has finally shown his true power." Majin Ozzoto said.
Hitoshura looked at himself, noticing his physical appearance had changed. Hitoshura then walks to a nearby pool of water, looking at his reflection. "Heh, i didn't expect the Fiends to turn me into a giant bug man like Beelzebub, but i still look more handsome."
"Well then Demi-Fiend, Ready to die?" Majin Ozzoto said in an arrogant tone.
Hitoshura looked up and gave off a savage grin that showed his fangs. "I was going to say the same to you, Ozzoto." Hitoshura replied in a cocky tone which irritated Ozzoto who roared out "I've had enough of your arrogance Demi-Fiend, I'm going to kill you and your friends."
"Heh i have no friends, I did not come here just so I can save humanity, I did not come here just because I'm a saint, I came here to fight and that's it." Hitoshura declared as he was surrounded in a deep crimson aura.
Majin Ozzoto then lunged forward with his right hand grabbing Hitoshura by the throat, slamming him to the floor, the force of which created a small crater where Ozzoto was standing which unfazed the Demi-Fiend when he fired off a bolt of blinding light from his mouth towards Ozzoto, striking a major hit on the former Demon God.
"That was nothing Demi Fiend, you still haven't felt my power!" Ozzoto says as he then fires off a laser from his third eye that bounced off of the Chaos King's Skin and strikes back at Ozzoto, injuring him.
"What's the matter Ozzoto? Injured by your own attack?" Hitoshura said mockingly as Ozzoto began to grasp how powerful the Demi-Fiend is.
"My own attacks won't work on him, I may have to resort to my tricks just so I could stand a chance." Ozzoto thinks to himself when he was surrounded in a misty black aura as he shapeshifts to Dante's Devil Trigger Form when Hitoshura smirks, realizing Ozzoto has resorted to his magic.
"To think you would at least have some decency to not resort to cheap parlor tricks, whatcha gonna do next? Pull a rabbit out of a hat?" The Demi-Fiend said in a mocking tone which further irritated Ozzoto. Ozzoto conjured a copy of Rebellion and multiplied himself.
"Heh, you're using illusions too huh, just when I was wondering how low you can go." The Demi-Fiend said as Ozzoto in Dante's DT form roared out "Let's see if you can figure out which one is me!" when he suddenly fired off a barrage of deep crimson energy blasts from his left hand towards the ground as smoke began to surround the Demi-Fiend. Ozzoto and his copies began to fly forward with their swords stretching outwards.
"Time to die, King Of Chaos!" Ozzoto roared out when a light pierced through him, drawing out massive amounts of blood as the dust cleared, revealing Hitoshura holding out a sword made out of light.
"H…How did you find me?" Ozzoto said as his clones dissolved, prompting Hitoshura to say "While it was a good idea to hide your energy signature, it was quite easy to hear your heartbeat." Hitoshura then drew the blade in further, drawing even more blood from Ozzoto who reverted back to his true form.
Ozzoto then plummeted to the ground, holding his left hand over his wound. "d..Damn you, Demi-Fiend, this will not be…" but before he could finish, Hitoshura casted a bright, green flame over Majin Ozzoto as the Demi-Fiend said "If you try to move even an inch, my flames will erase even your soul from existence."
"So what will you do now? Seal me away like Lucifer did years ago?" Majin Ozzoto said as the Demi-Fiend replied in a cold but irritated"Tch, Lucifer may have been 'nice' in sealing your sorry ass away but i'm not Lucifer, i'm the King Of Chaos, The True Demon, i am…Hitoshura The Demi-Fiend and you're dust." The green flames then consumed Ozzoto as his screams of agony echoed across the street, erasing his entire body as he slowly reverted to ash.
"Hmph, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, well since i killed this fucker, i guess i will take my leave." The Demi-Fiend said as he reverted back to his humanoid form.
Suddenly, Pixie flew beside the Demi-Fiend saying to him, "Hey, I think you forgot something." "Yeah and the hell's that?" The Demi-Fiend rudely replied as Pixie pouted "Hello? Dante and Doomguy, shouldn't you heal them first before you leave?"
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Hitoshura said when he snapped his fingers, healing Dante's and Doomguy's wounds and restoring their strength as a white glow surrounded them for a few seconds before fading. Dante woke up first as he noticed Hitoshura, saying to him "Hey Kid, what happened to Majin Ozzoto?"
"Gone, reduced to nothing, not even his soul will pass onto the cycle of reincarnation." Hitoshura said as Doomguy woke up, saying to him "Y'know kid, i guess it was a good idea to bring you with us."
"Tch, i didn't do it for you, i just wanted a challenge but what i got instead was a mere fool trying to play god and where did that get him? Turned to dust." Hitoshura said as Dante replied "Well even if so, you pretty much saved the whole damn city."
"Yeah, anyway I'm leaving now so have fun cleaning this shit up." Hitoshura said as he opened up a portal but not before Dante said "Wait kid, have this." as he suddenly tossed a small object towards Hitoshura who caught it. It was a small coin that had the words "Devil Hunter 4 hire?" enscribed. "Consider it an application for a job later down the line." Dante said as Hitoshura said "I doubt i'll ever join you but i will at least consider it."
"Well the next time you see us, we'll probably have more members in our little team." Doomguy said as Hitoshura let off a small smile, waving them goodbye as he and Pixie returned to the Hall Of Chaos.
"Well Doomguy, this was actually one hell of a day today, I'm heading off too." Dante said as he yawned, prompting Doomguy to say "I just hope he never comes back, anyway, I guess I'll head back, later Dante." when he opened a portal to the Fortress Of Doom, stepping inward as he disappeared.
At The Hall Of Chaos, Hitoshura was resting upon a black throne that glowed eerily green as he began to ponder about Dante's offer. Suddenly, Pixie said to Hitoshura "Did i actually see you smile? You were smiling to those two, weren't you?"
"What? I was fucking not, that's bullshit, i did not smile." Hitoshura said as Pixie replied "Did too, no need to hide it."
Hitoshura then looked at the coin Dante gave him, looking over the words "Devil Hunter 4 Hire?" as he thought over whether he should join or not. Pixie then said "Y'know, if you did join them, you can probably find lots of strong demons to fight."
"Yeah Pixie, you're probably right but I should at least think about it some more."
Hitoshura then continued to sit alone in the dark as he pondered about his application. Hitoshura then flipped the coin over to see Dante's phone number. Hitoshura then pulled out a dusty, old flip phone out as he charged some of his demonic energy into it, causing it to start up.
Meanwhile, at Devil May Cry, Dante was starting to close for the night when he heard the telephone ring. Dante then picked the phone up saying "Devil May Cry."
"Hey Dante, it's the Demi-Fiend…I'm in."
