The Island of Menagerie: a beautiful piece left behind by mother nature.

Even though the continent was far smaller compared to the colossal size of its neighbors, it was not outclassed when it came to image and atmosphere.

The vibrant green leaves of the trees always swayed and danced to the gentle breeze of the weather.

The sea that surrounded the beaches was a mesmerizing spectacle thanks to its crystal clear surface.

But by the time the sun went down to rest, another unreal sight arrived for the faunus that made Menagerie into their home.

If the night sky were to be viewed by the inhabitants of the neighboring continents, their eyes would not make out a single thing in the dark pits of space due to the immense amount of pollution their large machines released into the air. All they would see was the moon that has been incomplete since the age of time.

The smaller continent of the faunus did not have this issue as the population did not rely on heavy machinery or other industrial endeavors to create a long prosperous lifestyle.

And for that, they were rewarded with the privilege of seeing the bright stars of their universe.

Words could never bring justice to the breathtaking image of the glittering white stars breathing life into the pitch black mural. Their patterns and alignment were nothing short but a teaser for what the other side of their realm was hiding from them.

However, the locals of the much smaller community were not the only ones left in wonder.

All over Remnant, the most brilliant and intelligent minds were curious about the birth realm of the stars. Just what mysteries would they unravel once they traveled beyond the range of their shattered moon?

Would they discover a new source of power that would bring mankind to new heights?

Or, would they discover something that was far more dangerous, far more sinister, than the creatures that fed on their fear and hatred?

They were assured that they would never know. And frankly, it would have been better if it forever remained a dream.

...

The dark atmosphere of Menagerie was quiet and tranquil, crickets chirping as they did every other night.

The air was calm and cool, its breeze blowing the trees fronds, making their healthy leaves dance slowly in the wind.

The only person who was taking advantage of tonight's serenity was the patriarch of the Belladonna family, Ghira Belladonna.

The luminescence of the moon made it easy for him to tread across the sandy beach that was closest to his home.

Even though it was a few hours past midnight, also known as the time one should be resting comfortably on a bed, the pit in his stomach prevented his consciousness from falling into a peaceful slumber.

Every passing night, that pit seemed to get deeper and deeper, destroying the chances of him getting a good night's sleep.

While this may have appeared like the effect of an illness, it was anything but an illness.

Ghira knew very well why he couldn't rest.

His home was devoid of spirit, devoid of happiness, devoid of the family he has spent his life building and protecting.

Devoid of his only daughter as she vanished like a puff of smoke.

It was nothing short but a tragedy for him, his wife, and the decent folk of Menagerie.

There were absolutely little to no details as to what caused the only daughter of the Belladonna family to fall off the radar.

But Ghira knew that Adam Taurus was connected to her sudden disappearance. He just knew it.

He has paid an endless amount of visits to the main headquarters of the White Fang, hoping to hear anything related to Adam's whereabouts, hoping to at least get some closure to Blake's fate.

But he always came back with empty hands and more questions.

For what reason would Taurus need Blake away from the shores of Menagerie?

Was it her original idea? And if it was, just what were they planning to accomplish together?

He prayed to the Brothers above that he would get answers sooner rather than later...

The chieftain of Menagerie sighed, his glossy eyes looking up at the glittering stars of a world that was beyond Remnant's reach.

A bright blue comet flew past the dazzling orbs at supersonic speeds, disappearing into the unknown faster than a person could blink.

Ghira took a breath and expressed the wish he and his wife shared.

"Blake, wherever you are, please, tell us that you're alright..."

The father broke his sullen gaze away from the cluster, resuming his walk on the long strip of sand.

But if Ghira let his eyes wander into the surface of Remnant's galaxy for another second, he would have seen a set of four comets chasing after their bright blue counterpart...

Endnotes-Well, this is an interesting one my brain decided to cook up. Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Even though I did create a Saint Seiya fanfic before silently deleting it, I feel more optimistic about this one. I have been wanting to make a Saint Seiya story that takes place in the RWBY universe for quite some time now.

The Saint Seiya series will always have a special place in my heart. It always has been since my childhood.

The fantastical battles, the badass yet beautifully written protagonists, the godly designed armors (aka Cloths). There were just so many things I loved about this series. And I feel honored to write a Saint Seiya story that focuses more on their battle prowess.

Yes, I know I have barely gotten to the good stuff, but I promise the next chapter will get the ball rolling.

So for now my dear readers, stay tuned! :)
