As the sun started to set in the distance, Lion-O, Pumyra, Linka, Kwami and the Thunderkittens have started to launch their plan of attack into effect against the now mobile Castle Plunn-Darr. As the group watched Castle Plunn-Darr started to land in a clearing only a few miles from the remains of Cat's Lair. As Lion-O and the others landed their vehicles only two kilometers away, the castle's main door started to open up as if it was giving an invitation to the outsiders to enter.
"So what's the plan Kwami?" Wilykit asked while wondering what was going through the Earth Planeteer's mind.
"We have to be careful and try to flush them out, and I think a little combination attack just might do it."
"What do you mean by that?" Wilykat replied in wonder.
"Linka, if use your ring power to create a twister and then allow Wilykit's capsules to enter the funnel, then you can send it right into Castle Plunn-Darr's main opening."
"Da. That is a great idea Kwami. They wouldn't expect an attack like that to work." Linka replied.
"Kwami, you always told us not to underestimate your enemies." Lion-O started to say. "What if they are ready for this attack?"
"You're right about everything Lion-O, but they did open the door for us, so if it is a trap then we should spring it." Kwami stated in response.
"Da, but Pumyra and Wilykat as well as you Lion-O will be our backup plan in case this doesn't work." Linka replied. "But first we need to get their attention."
"Leave that to me with a little help from Wilykat's capsules."
"Ready whenever you are ready Kwami." Wilkykat replied with a small grin on his face.
"Then let's get started." Kwami replied as he started to take in a deep breath. "EARTH!" Kwami shouted as greens circles of energy started to emit from his ring and impact the ground only inches from Castle Plunn-Darr. "NOW WILYKAT!" Kwami shouted.
"Right Kwami." Wilykat replied as he started to throw his capsules as far as he could.
As Wilykat's Capsules started to impact the ground sparks of dark smoke started to emerge as Kwami's Earthquakes started to shake the foundation of Castle Plunn-Darr. As the dark smoke started to cover up most of the ground, the second phase of their plan was put into effect.
"Linka, Wilykit, you're up." Kwami stated seeing the smoke and what was happening from his ring's power.
"Right, here we go." Linka replied as she started to take in a deep breath before continuing. "WIND!" She shouted as a small tornado started to appear from her ring and started to swallow up all of the smoke. "Now Wilykit. Do it now." She added.
"Right Linka." Wilykit replied as she started to throw her capsules into the tornado.
As Wilykit's capsules started to explode into the tornado, the smoke colors started to mix inside with the dark smoke before being directed by Linka into the open door of Castle Plunn-Darr. After a moment more Linka dispersed to tornado and started to allow all the smoke in and cover every inch inside the Castle. Moments after the smoke started to enter.
"I didn't know you could do that Linka?" Wilykat stated while watching Linka's ring in action.
"It took some time but we Planeteers can control the elements to our advantage." Linka replied.
"Yes, but only in extreme emergencies." Kwami added.
"Well let's just hope that we don't have an emergency like that in the future." Pumyra stated as they all nodded their heads.
"If everyone is ready, we should move in." Lion-O asked as they all nodded again in agreement.
As they were all starting to approach the Castle, the Sword of Omens started to make it's warning signal again but this time louder.
"Lion-O, the sword." Pumyra stated as they all stopped in their tracks.
"There must be danger some where around here." Linka added.
"Let's find out." Lion-O replied as he started to place the sword in front of his face once again. "Sword of Omens, give me sight beyond sight." He stated as the sword's crossbars started to change into eye holes once again, and the Eye of Thundera started to light up as well.
As Lion-O started to look into the sword's eye sockets, he started to see an image of Mumm-Ra starting to gloat and laugh about something that he had started to set in motion. While continuing to watch he started to see Cheetara still laying down on a stone slab, but something was not right.
"Well Lion-O, if you are seeing this then you should know that soon your beloved Thundercat will become my slave forever. Already the transformation has began." The mummy stated as part of Cheetara's hair color started to change from golden orange to a darkened black. "You can't save her Lion-O and soon she will be the instrument of your destruction." Mumm-Ra added as the image started to fade away.
As the image from the sword started to close, the crossbars started to revert back to normal. After a moment, everyone started to notice something wrong with Lion-O as they still didn't advance towards Castle Plunn-Darr.
"Lion-O?" Pumyra started to say while starting to see a tear form form her friend's left eye. "Lion-O, what is it?"
"It's Cheetara." Lion-O started to say while trying to keep his anger and sadness in check. "Mumm-Ra's trying to turn her against us."
"Is that even possible?" Linka asked while seeing the guilt from the others. "Kwami?"
"I'm afraid that it can be done." Kwami started to say with a saddened tone in his voice. "He was able to get us all to try and betray you and the others without having a second thought in the process."
"But this time something else is happening." Lion-O replied with much worry.
"What?" Linka asked.
"Cheetara's hair color is changing from gold to black. Mumm-Ra said that once the transformation is complete we might loose her forever." Lion-O stated while falling to his knees. "I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN! I NEED HER WITH ME!" Lion-O started to yell.
Just then a familiar voice started to emerge while trying to calm down the Lord of the Thundercats.
"Lion-O." The voice stated as a bluish form started to appear in front of Lion-O. "You must control yourself and calm down."
As the voice spoke, Lion-O looked up to see where it was coming from. "JAGA!" Lion-O shouted while everyone else could not see their long lost friend.
"Lion-O you must get a hold of yourself and stay calm. Mumm-Ra is doing this to cause you pain and you must not allow him to do so." Jaga stated.
"But Jaga, how am I supposed to control my feelings for the one that I love?" Lion-O replied as someone started to approach the duo.
As Lion-O and Jaga continued to have their discussion, Linka was starting to feel like she was loosing her mind for some reason.
"Pumyra, can I ask you a question?" Linka asked while watching Lion-O having a conversation with someone.
"Sure Linka. What is it? "Pumyra asked with wonder.
"Who is that person talking with Lion-O?" Linka stated while pointing to a bluish aura.
"Linka, there is no one there except Lion-O."
"Linka, are you sure you are feeling alright? "Kwami asked with some concern.
"I'm fine Kwami, just maybe a little confused."
"Linka I can't see anyone there." Pumyra replied.
"Are you sure, cause I can clearly see Lion-O talking to someone with a bluish aura."
"Bluish aura?"
"Da."
"Tell me, can you describe this person in a bluish aura?"
"Da. He is wearing some sort of helmet, while a cape is covering down the back of his body. He is also wearing some kind of boots and I can clearly see the symbol of the Thundercats on his uniform."
"I don't believe it. How can you see him?" Pumyra stated while hearing Lion-O shout Jaga's name.
"Pumyra, what is going on here? Who is this person and why can I see him?"
"I don't know how, but you are seeing the former Lord of the Thundrcats and Lion-O's guardian Jaga."
"But how is this even possible?"
"I have no idea, but if you can see him maybe Jaga can answer you as well. Just go over there and ask him."
"Are you sure? What if my eyes are playing tricks on me?"
"Linka, I only ever met Lord Jaga once and that was before our home planet was destroyed. Now please trust me."
"Alright, I'll go and ask him." Linka replied as she started to approach the duo while still having their discussion.
As Lion-O and Jaga continued to talk, they were both in for a major surprise as they were about to be interrupted.
"Lion-O, may I say something?" Linka asked with concern.
"Of course Linka." Lion-O replied while still on his knees.
"You should listen to what Jaga is telling you. He is almost like Gaia and-"
"You….. You can see me?" Jaga asked with surprise.
"Yes I can. I don't know how this is possible but I can see you."
"Jaga, how is this possible. I thought I was the only one to see you." Lion-O stated while starting to calm down.
"I'm not sure but I may have a thought about it." Jaga started to say with and honest tone. "When you came into the spirit world to rescue your friend Wheeler, and we all had to fight Groon and Captain Pollution, some part of the spirit world must have stayed within the both of you."
"I don't understand." Linka replied.
"I'm trying to understand it as well Jaga." Lion-O started to say as he started to get back on his feet. "I only started to see you when I touched the sword after we all crashed here on Third Earth years ago."
"Yes, but our connection was the sword. This connection is somehow much more different than that." Jaga replied.
"Our rings." Linka replied. "It must have something to do with our rings."
"Correct my dear. Both you and Wheeler used your powers within the spirit realm and made a connection with it."
"But Wheeler almost died when he transformed into energy and combined with Captain Planet."
"Yes but don't forget, that Captain Planet was a mental image created by both you and Wheeler. That was the connection and the reason why you can see me."
"Jaga if this is true then maybe you can get a message to both Wheeler and Gi." Lion-O stated while hoping that Jaga would help them all.
"If the connection is there, then I will."
"This has to work. I need both of them, especially Wheeler. He is very important to me and I-." Linka started to say until she started to cry.
"Linka, are you alright?" A voice stated from behind Linka."
After hearing the voice, Linka turned around to see both Pumyra, Kwami and the Thuinderkittens standing right behind them.
"How…. How long have you been there?" Linka asked with wonder while also hoping that she didn't make a complete fool of herself.
"Long enough to hear that you can see Jaga." Pumyra replied.
"You must all think that I am going out of my head."
"No Linka, not at all." Wilykit started to say. "If you can see Jaga then you are very special. We all wish that we can see and talk to him, but if you can than that is what you would say cool." She finished as Linka started to chuckle a little.
"Thank you Wilykit. That was just what I needed." Linka replied as she started to hug the Thunderkitten.
"Linka we are really happy for you." Wilykat stated.
"Thank you Wilykat." Linka replied as she released Wilykit from her hug.
"Jaga, can you try to get a message to Wheeler and Gi. We need them here." Lion-O asked with an honest tone.
"I will try Lion-O." Jaga replied as he started to grab his cloak and then started to disappear.
"Now what Lion-O?" Pumyra asked with much concern.
"Now we should all head back to the Lair. Something is still bothering me about that opened doorway." Lion-O stated while starting to look at Wilykat. "Wilykat, do you still have those special capsules you and your sister used against me during the trials?"
"I believe so. Let me check." Wilykat stated while he started to check his capsule pockets. "Good news, I have one left and it doesn't need water to activate either."
"Good, get close enough to the doorway and throw your capsule near the entrance. If I'm right we should see something happen shortly."
"Right Lion-O." Wilykat replied as he started to head towards the open doorway.
After finishing his talk with Lion-O, Wilykat started to approach the opened doorway of Castle Plunn-Darr. As he started to get closer to the entrance, the young Thundercat started to grab his special capsule from his pouch and tossed it so that it would explode near the entrance. After he launched the capsule, the young Thundercat started to head back towards the others while the capsule started to impact the ground and explode.
As everyone continued to watch, the smoke from the capsule finally started to disperse and reveal some sort of shadow inside the smoke. As the smoke finally went away, the shadow became visible and a creature started to show it's true self. This creature was an early Dinosaur that was wiped out over millions of years ago. It is big with an average body and a long neck reaching up to it's tail. After a moment, the dinosaur started to approach the open doorway top see what was inside.
"That thing was inside your capsule Wilykat?" Kwami asked while still getting over the shock.
"Yes, but don't worry." Wilykat replied in his most honest tone.
"Don't worry!" Linka started to yell. "You said you used something like that during Lion-'s trial. What trial was that?"
"It was the trial of cunning. My brother and I had to try and stop Lion-O from reaching a certain tree while chasing each other through a giant ant hole." Wilykit replied while starting to blush.
"I take that everything didn't go as planned." Kwami asked with a much honest tone.
"Not really. Wilykit and Wilykat were in trouble so the people inside the giant hole helped us out, even though I didn't want their help." Lion-O started to say.
"If they wanted to help you then why didn't you except their help right away.?" Linka asked with wonder.
"It is forbidden to get help from anyone during my trials."
"Forbidden?" Kwami replied.
"Yes. If a Thundercat excepts help during the trials for any reason then he or she would fail right away.
"I see, but you were able to help them and win your trial."
"Yes. After our new friends helped out, we made it to the other side of the hole with the tree in plain sight. But before I reached the tree, I played one last trick on the kittens."
"Trick?" Linka asked with wonder.
"Yea, he tied both of our belts with rope and when we were just about to reach the tree, the rope caught on a rock and pulled us back in order for Lion-O to win the trial." Wilykit replied.
"That was a terrible trick but it worked in Lion-O's favor." Wilykat added.
"Yes , but after that trial and the others I have more respect for the Thundercats than ever before." Lion-O added.
"Thanks Lion-O we really didn't know that you-" Wilykat started to say until they all heard a long bang of some kind.
After hearing the exploding sound, the entire group started to shift their attention towards the open doorway at the bottom of Castle Plunn-Darr.
"What happened Lion-O?" Wilykit asked with concern.
"I'm not sure Wilykit. We should investigate." Lion-O replied.
"Wait a moment Lion-O." Kwami stated as he started to pick a small branch lying on the ground. "Just in case." He added.
As they all approached the open doorway, the group started to see small tears of fabric laying all over the ground near the doorway.
"What happened here?" Pumyra asked.
"I don't know." Lion-O replied as he was about to reach into the open doorway with his right hand.
"LION-O! STOP!" Kwami shouted before Lion-O's hand crossed into the doorway.
"Why did you stop me?" Lion-O asked with concern.
"Watch." Kwami replied as he started to take the small branch and move it through the doorway.
As everyone started to watch, the tip of the small branch started to become hot and then started to catch on fire. As Kwami continued to move the small branch, within moment the entire wooden branch was destroyed by flames, but not before the Earth Planeteer was able to let go of the branch.
"How did you know?" Pumyra asked while seeing the burned remains.
"I had a feeling about it when we all heard that explosion from before." Kwami replied as he started to gesture to everyone to head back towards the vehicles.
"Yes, but how did you know that the doorway would burn us if we entered?" Lion-O asked with much concern in his voice.
"Because we all watched some of that Yankee's Spy movies and the bad guys always set up traps like that to kill their enemies." Linka stated. "I guess they thought it would work on us as well."
"Well I for sure am glad that you both are here to help. We could have all been walking into a trap and didn't even know it." Lion-O replied.
"I'm surprised that the sword didn't warn you about that trap." Wilykit stated with some concern about why the Sword's power didn't work.
"I'm puzzled about that as well." Wilykat added.
"I'll bet I know." Lion-O stated before continuing. "I'll bet they placed a massive electro-magnetic field around the doorway to stop the sword from warning us. They must have gotten that idea when I tried to rescue Mandora from the penal planet and the field was active."
"Of course. They must have found that out when they tapped our computers and found the data." Pumyra replied.
"That is my frame of thought as well Pumyra." Lion-O sighed as they all reached their vehicles.
"What now Lion-O?" Linka asked with some wonder about their next move.
"We should return to the others right away." Lion-O replied in his most stern tone.
"I agree with you Lion-O. They must have thought that we would destroy ourselves after we saw the doorway completely defenseless." Kwami stated in his most honest tone.
"That is low even for them." Linka added.
"Yes but now we should return to the others and get ready for the battle ahead." Lion-O stated as they all started to board their vehicles and headed back to the Lair.
As everyone started to head back towards their vehicles, inside Castle Plunn-Darr's control center, the Eco Villains were watching everything that was happening outside. As they all saw the Thundercats and Planeteers leave, everyone inside was trying to figure out what went wrong with their plan.
"I thought you said that the Thundercats would fall for the open doorway plan you overgrown calculator." Nukem stated while looking at MEL's digitized face.
"My calculations were correct, but with the Planeteers help they changed. I can't be held for that happening." MEL replied.
"Why you overgrown video game I am going to-" Nukem started to say as his yellow rocky fists started to glow orange.
"ENOUGH NUKEM!" Blight yelled to stop Nukem. "Quit yelling at my sweetie."
"You know, for once you are right." Nukem stated while shifting his attention towards Blight. "I should be yelling at you. You both came up with that stupid plan and they didn't fall for it like you said they would."
"Nukem, if I didn't need you to help power this stronghold, I'd have Mumm-Ra send you into a black hole."
"THAT'S IT!" Nukem yelled as his rocky hands started to glow bright orange. "NOW YOU DIE!" Nukem shouted.
As Nukem was about to launch his attack, his rocky hands were hit by a red energy blast. As the blast started to cause Nukem great pain, everyone looked over to see where it came from. As the duo started to look around, they both started to see smoke coming from one of Zarm's fingers.
"Why did you do that for?" Nukem asked while still very angry.
"You needed to stop and think you buffoon. The Planeteers are clever and with their help so are the Thundercats." Zarm started to say. "We need to be smarter than them and having an opened doorway with a laser trap was so last 10 years ago."
"Do you have any ideas that we could use on them?" MEL asked in his most computerized tone.
"Not really no. The Eco-Geeks just about know every one of my schemes and they also know all of yours as well. So we have to think outside the box, sort to speak."
"MEL, sweety." Blight started to say in her most romantic tone. "Is there anything that we could try to use against the Thundercats and Planeteers?"
"Give me a moment Doctor." MEL replied as the big computerized head started to think.
After a few moments the robotic digitized head started to speak.
"I think I have it doctor." MEL started to say. "Their vehicles are all machines, so what if they went berserk and attacked their own people."
"And how do you supposed they do that bit brain." Slude started to say. It is not like we have the codes for their vehicles and can access them."
"You are incorrect on both parts Sludge." MEL replied. "I do have the codes and can access them remotely. The only problem is if the Thundercats realized this and changed the codes."
"Probably not. I doubt the Eco-Geeks know about the codes as well." Nukem added.
"Then we have a plan of attack." Blight stated while looking at MEL's new robotic body. "MEL, darling, how long to access their computers and take control of their vehicles?"
"It shouldn't take long but there are two vehicles I can't control once I start."
"Which ones?" Sludge asked with concern.
"The Hoverboards don't have any components to control. They function like regular surf boards." MEL replied.
"Two Hoverboards shouldn't be any trouble. Besides once the takeover is complete, the Thundercats and the Planeteers will be destroyed." Zarm boasted in his most evil and honest tone.
"Maybe that's true dude, but still we should come up with a backup plan just in case." Pollution stated while everyone was shocked to hear that option.
"What has gotten into you Pollution?" Sludge started to say. "Since when are you cautious about anything?"
"Dude, we need to think smarter then the Eco-Geeks and the Thunderbrats and if that means having a backup plan of attack then we should."
"I never thought I would say this out loud but Pollution is correct."" Blight stated while getting shocked looks from everyone as well. "What? Pollution has a point and we should have a backup plan just in case."
"I think all of our time here was started to effect everyone's brains a little. Except for rock face over there." Sludge stated as he was talking about Nukem. "His brain was effected long ago."
"WHY YOU, I'M GONNA MAKE YOU MY NEW TARGET DUMMY FOR THAT REMARK!" Nukem yelled.
"ENOUGH ALL YOU!" Zarm yelled as he fired his energy beams towards the roof. "We have better things to do than to fight among ourselves. Since our first plan didn't work, we will have to strike harder and destroy the Thundercats and what remains of their home once and for all."
"On that I agree, I also compute a 100 percent victory in our favor." MEL stated while still showing off his new robotic body.
"Do you need a mirror to reflect yourself in or are you done showing off?" Sludge stated while getting annoyed at MEL's posing. "You are starting to remind me of a character from an anime show that likes to pose too often."
"Sorry about that. I just needed to get the feel for this new body." MEL replied in his robotic honest tone.
"Get the feel of your new body later, bit- brain." Nukem started to say in an angered tone. "We need to be ready to strike them hard and fast."
"I agree with Nukem but we need to let the engines rest for a while, at least till morning." Blight started to say. "If we push them too much, they could explode and take all of us with them."
"Fine then, everyone get some rest and in the morning we strike." Zarm stated as they all started to head from the control room into some make-shift sleeping chambers that were left when the Mutants occupied their hq.
As all of this was happening on Third Earth, back on New Thundera, in the Great Beneath, Gi was still sleeping inside the medical pod that she was placed into by Wheeler and Jagara. As the pod continued to help repair and regenerate Gi's body from her experience, Wheeler had not left her side since she was placed in there.
By Wheeler's side also was Mumm-Ra's former ally in evil Ma-Mutt. The dog started to see how much he started to care about him when he got burned by the fire before. After that Wheeler started to treat him and make sure he was properly cared for. As he continued to pet the pooch, he started to hear a noise coming from the outside door.
"Come in." He replied as he hear the sound.
As the door opened, Wheeler started to see the face of Jagara enter the room and check on Gi's life signs.
"Wheeler, why are you doing this to yourself?" Jagara asked with worry over Wheeler's behavior from before.
"Doing what?" Wheeler replied while still keeping an eye on Gi.
"You haven't eaten anything for a while now and you are still wearing those bloodly soaked clothes."
"I'm sorry about that but I'm not hungry right now, and I didn't bring a change of clothing either."
"Are you trying to be funny with me?"
"No. I'm just worried about Gi and I want to be here for her."
"Wheeler." Jagara started to say as she started to take a seat next to Wheeler. "I know you are worried about your friend, but everything will be fine. The healing tube is still doing it's job. It just takes time, besides she is young and strong. I'm sure she will pull through."
"Maybe, but I still need to be here for her."
"Do you know why?"
"It is just a strong feeling that I have. My memories of what happened inside my mind are fading away, but something is telling me to remember something very strong and that Gi is very important to me."
"And your other female friend? I believe her name is Linka."
"I'm… I'm not so sure about her and anything else. I'm so confused."
"Is that why your ring is on that table?"
"Yes. I needed to think clearly for a while and I just couldn't do that with that ring. I am also pondering leaving the Planeteers after what happened to me by Mumm-Ra."
"Wheeler, I know I haven't know you for a while, but maybe you shouldn't make any rash decisions yet. Look at what happened here right now."
"I am looking at what happened right here right now." Wheeler stated before taking a short breather. "Gi got hurt, your control station was almost smashed to pieces, and I sliced your mechanical friend in two pieces from the waist across."
"You can't blame yourself for everything that happened here. Mumm-Ra's magic is very powerful. He even had me believing that the Thundercats were false when they first arrived home. You are a true friend and a noble person Wheeler." Jagara pauses for a moment while seeing Ma-Mutt getting petted by Wheeler. "You even got Ma-Mutt on our side, and I thought that would never happen."
"I know. I hate to see any creature hurt by anyone. Even Ma-Mutt deserves better than the bag of bandages."
After hearing what Wheeler called Mumm-Ra, Ma-Mutt sat up on Wheeler's lap and started to lick his face.
"All right Ma-Mutt. Cut that out." Wheeler stated while laughing." I'm glad that you are feeling better."
A moment later Ma-Mutt stopped licking his face and jumped off his lap. Then the four legged pooch moved towards the healing chamber to guard it.
"I do believe that Ma-Mutt wants you to get out of the room Wheeler. I'm sure he will let us know if anything changes." Jagara stated as Ma-Mutt responded with a bark.
"All right you two, you win." Wheeler replied as he and Jagara both got off the chairs.
As Wheeler and Jagara were about to leave the room, the door chime started to go off again.
"Come in." Wheeler replied not knowing who was on the other side.
As the door to the chambers started to open, a familiar Thundarian started to enter the room. As Wheeler saw this person he started to get hit with a bad memory of what he had done to him and his friends.
"Tor.." Wheeler started to say when he started to recognized the Thundarian. "I am so sorry for what happened before. I have no excuse for my actions. If you wish to punish me, then please do." He added as Tor started to have a confused look on his face.
"Look Wheeler." Tor started to answer while trying not to hurt his friend's feelings. "You don't have to apologize for anything."
"But my actions."
"You weren't in control but under Mumm-Ra's magic. Lion-O and the others already discussed this with everyone and we all forgave you for what happened. But now we could use your help."
"My help? With what?"
"We need you help to fix Screwloose. The cuts you made earlier are very delicate and most of the wires and circuits need to be bypassed. Unfortunately, Ran, Kara, Karen and myself don't know much about it. Can you help?"
"I can try but I make no promises."
"That's all we need to hear." A voice stated from behind Tor.
As Wheeler watched, Kara, Karen and Ran started to enter the room behind Tor.
"Guys look, I'm really sorry about before. I didn't mean to-"
"Wheeler, it is alright. We know that wasn't you from before, but what Tor said is true, we could really need your help." Ran stated as he placed his right hand on Wheeler's left shoulder.
"Wheeler, a moment before you go." Jargara stated as Wheeler started to turn around to face her. " I have something for you to wear, if you don't mind." She added as she started to use her powers to produce a set of clothing that matches what the Thundarians are wearing. "These should fit you perfectly. We will give you some privacy to change." Jagara finished as she gestured everyone to leave.
As everyone started to leave the room, Wheeler started to unfold the clothing and saw that is was exactly what Tor is wearing.
"I guess Jagara is not much for fashion style eh Ma-Mutt." Wheeler stated while looking at Ma-Mutt and the healing capsule. "I better change in the washroom, just in case." He added in case someone started to wake up.
After a few minutes, Wheeler started to emerge from the restroom wearing his Thundarian clothing.
"Not much in fashion, but when in Rome." He stated while Ma-Mutt continued to watch over Gi inside the chamber. "I'm going to help them out, please let me know if she starts to wake up." He added as Ma-Mutt gave him a happy bark.
As Wheeler started to open the door, he started to see Tor, Ran, Kara and Karen along with Jagara waiting patiently for him.
"You look good there Wheeler." Kara started to say.
"Thanks Kara, look guys again I'm sorry for what happened earlier." Wheeler started to say.
"Wheeler, don't worry about that anymore." Ran started to reply. "Right now we need to fix Screwloose and get everything working again."
"Alright, let's get to work." Wheeler replied as they all started to work on repairing Screwloose.
As the group got started to repairing Screwloose, Tor, Ran, Kara and Karen were very impressed by the way Wheeler was stripping the severed wires and tying the open connections back together. A few moments later they all started to re-attach Screwloose's legs back to his body and then started to secure it all. After a moment more, Screwloose's eyes started to open and the robot was back to full operating service.
"Well, that was an unexpected vacation." Screwloose stated while getting his bearings.
"Sorry about what happened to you Screwloose." Wheeler started to say. "I'm afraid that I wasn't myself.
"It's quite alright my friend. I was due for an overhaul anyway." Screwloose started to say while looking at the repair job. "My my my, this repair work is incredible. Thank you my boy."
"I'm afraid that your thanks is a little premature. It's only a temporary fix, you should have some one replace those wires as soon as possible."
"Not to worry about that." Screwloose started to say in a much honest tone. "My systems can repair mostly anything as long as there is power going through my body. The repair work you did will be updated and I will be back to full function in no time." He added as Tor and Wheeler started to help Screwloose back to his feet.
"That's good, now I want to check in on Gi and see how she is doing." Wheeler replied as he started to hear a familiar voice.
"Wheeler." The voice started to say. "Wheeler."
After hearing the voice, the Fire Planeteer was starting to get confused.
"Tor, can I ask you something?" Wheeler asked with wonder and concern.
"Sure Wheeler." Tor replied.
"Did you just hear something right now?"
"No. Why? What did you hear?"
"Someone calling my name. But I don't know where the voice is coming from."
"Wheeler, the others need your help." The voice stated again.
"Now the voice is telling me that everyone needs my help. But I don't want to help them. I'm done with being a Planeteer after what I did."
"Wheeler, you need to stop feeling sorry for yourself. It wasn't your fault." Jagara stated as she approached Wheeler.
"I know Jagara, it is just I can't help it."
"Wheeler, there is trouble back on Third Earth and your friends need your help." The voice stated once again.
"All right that is enough." Wheeler stated as he started to turn around to face the voice. "Who ever you are, show yourself." Wheeler stated while thinking that he might have lost his mind.
After Wheeler's statement, a bluish figure started to appear in front of the Fire Planeteer. As the person finished materializing, Wheeler was almost in a state of shock until he started to recognize the person.
"Jaga? But how is this possible?" Wheeler stated as the others started to have a surprised look on their faces.
"Wheeler, you can see Jaga?" Tor asked with some concern.
"I guess so but I don't understand."
"Wheeler, I might have an idea of why you can see and hear him." Jagara stated as she started to approach Jaga. "It has been a long time old friend."
"It sure has Jagara." Jaga replied.
"Can someone tell me what is going here. Am I loosing my mind?" Wheeler asked with some concern.
"Calm down Wheeler." Jaga started to say. "Your friend Linka almost had the same reaction."
"Linka can see you as well? Please tell me what happened."
"Wheeler, remember when you and Linka were in the spirit world."
"I believe so, but much about what happened is a bit of a blur."
"When you and Linka were there, you both made a connection to that world. When you used your rings to summon your friends."
"I… I remember. It is a little blurry, but I remember that I almost died there helping Captain Planet and Linka." Wheeler stated with pride in his tone.
"Yes. After that, you both established a link to there and to me. That is why you are both able to see me."
"This is heavy." Wheeler stated while seeing the confusion on Jagara's face.
"What do you mean by heavy?" Tor asked as everyone continued to look confused.
"Sorry. Heavy is just an expression from my home. It means when things or more than they seem to be." Wheeler replied.
"Thanks for clearing that up, now what about your friends? They need your help back on Third Earth." Jagara stated as Wheeler started to head back to Jagara's chambers and Gi.
"They don't need me and I don't need them. I'm done after what happened." Wheeler stated in his most determined tone.
"Wheeler, are you sure about that?" Jaga stated in his most curious tone.
"Yes I'm sure. Because of my actions, Gi got hurt."
"Wheeler maybe you need to hear it from a friend." Jaga stated as he started to extend his left arm out towards an empty space besides him. "Just take my hand and he can hear and see you my dear." He added as a new shape started to join Jaga.
As Wheeler and Jagara watched, a new bluish form started to emerge after taking hold of Jaga's hand. Within seconds, the new form started to change into the image of the Water Planeteer. As they both continued to watch, Gi started to speak.
"Wheeler? Can you hear me?" Gi stated while still confused about what was happening.
"Gi?….. GI!… Is that you? Are you really here?" Wheeler shouted for a moment before calming down.
"Yea Wheeler. I'm here though I don't know what is happening to me." Gi replied while still confused.
"It is alright my dear." Jagara started to say. "Your body is healing up in my healing chamber, and while that is happening, you are in a deep medically induced coma."
"A COMA?!" Gi yelled with surprise in her tone.
"Now wait just a minute." Wheeler started to say while getting very angry. "You never told me that would happen to Gi, If I knew that would happen then I would have never placed her inside."
"Wheeler, Gi, calm down." Jagara started to say in her most calm tone. "It is only temporary. The chamber needed to do that in order to repair and heal all of your injuries Gi. If not then you would have died."
After hearing Jagara's reason, both Wheeler and Gi started to show sadness and then compassion on their faces.
"Jagara, I'm sorry for my outburst." Gi stated in her most apologetic tone.
"I am also sorry Jagara. I didn't know Gi's life was in danger." Wheeler added.
"It is alright both of you. Apologies accepted." Jagara replied with a happy tone. "Gi, how are you feeling?" Jagara asked while seeing Gi's image starting to fade in and out.
"I don't know." Gi replied while starting to feel a little strange. "What is happening to me?"
"Calm down my dear." Jaga stated in hi s most fatherly tone. "Your body is almost fully healed and now is trying to wake up. It is also pulling you back, so I must let go so you can return to your body."
"Alright." Gi replied.
"Gi." Wheeler stated.
"Yes Wheeler?"
"I'll see you when you wake up. We have lots to discuss, especially about what happened when we joined our souls."
"Yes. See you soon." Gi replied as Jaga released Gi's hand and then vanished.
"Jaga, Jagara, thank you." Wheeler stated while tears started to appear in his eyes.
"Go Wheeler." Jagara stated as Wheeler started to head back towards Jagara's chambers and the healing capsule.
As Ma-Mutt was continuing to watch over Gi's body inside the chamber, the door to the room started to open to reveal Wheeler coming back inside. As the Fire Planeteer entered, Ma-Mutt started to get up and jump onto Wheeler while licking his face.
"Alright Ma-Mutt, I'm glad to see you as well. I was only gone for a moment but I do love the attention." Wheeler stated as the medical pod started to make some noises.
As Wheeler watched, the machines that were healing Gi's wounded body were shutting down, while at the same time the lifeline indicator was pulsing more rapidly. Within moments the last of the capsule machines were stopping and the capsule opened up.
As the glass raised up, Wheeler gently picked up Gi in his arms and slowly moved her towards the bed while being careful not to wake her. As he finally sat down on the bed, the Fire Planeteer gave the Water Planeteer a kiss on her forehead before talking.
"Alright little mermaid, time to wake up." Wheeler stated as Gi's eyes started to open up.
"Wheeler?" Gi stated as her eyes started to adjust.
"Welcome back princess." He replied as he started to help her off his lap and placed her sitting right next to him. "How much do you remember about what happened"
"I….. I remember everything. What you did and what I did. Even what happened when Jaga had me talking to you."
"Ohh. Gi look I'm sorry that you got hurt and everything." Wheeler started to say until Gi put her index finger between his lips.
"Wheeler, it wasn't your fault. You were under a spell."
"Yes but when I saw what happened to you I had to try and fight back from the inside. By the way, thanks for the help."
"Anytime." Gi replied as Wheeler started to place his left hand on top of Gi's right hand.
"Wheeler, what is going on?" Gi asked while looking confused.
"Gi, you remember when we joined our souls during the battle?"
"Yes."
"When that happened I understood your feelings towards everyone and me." Wheeler paused a moment before continuing. "Why didn't you tell me how you felt about me before?"
"You were head over heals in love with Linka, and I didn't want to cause any problems. Wheeler you are-" Gi started to say before she was cut off in mid sentence.
As Gi was about to finish her sentence, Wheeler started to give Gi the most passionate kiss she had ever got. After a few moments Wheeler released his lips from Gi's while seeing the shock in the Water Planeteer's face.
"Gi…. I'm… "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to, it was just." Wheeler started to say while trying to apologize to Gi.
"Wheeler it is alright. That kiss threw me off for a moment, but I did enjoy it." Gi started to say until she realized what was happening. She was kissing a married man, and this man was married to her best friend. "No. I can't do this. I don't want to hurt Linka like this." Gi stated as Wheeler started to hold both of Gi's hands.
"Gi, what happened wasn't a mistake. I felt how you felt for me and I'm sorry that I didn't notice those signals earlier."
"Wheeler I-" Gi started to say until Wheeler kissed her again with more passion.
As Wheeler and Gi continued to kiss each other, their embrace was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door. After they both heard the sound, both Planeteers were snapped back to reality as they both separated.
"Come in." Wheeler stated as the door started to open.
As the door started to open, both Wheeler and Gi started to see Jagara outside while holding something in her hands.
"I hope I didn't interrupt anything between you two." Jagara stated while seeing the look on her friend's faces.
"Nothing that can't continue at a later time." Wheeler replied as Gi started to blush a little.
"Well I'm glad to hear that." Jagara stated while handing Gi a package. "Here Gi this is for you."
"For me?" Gi replied.
"Yes. I thought that you would like to change out of those clothes for a while. This way I can have them cleaned like I am doing for your friend." Jagara added as Gi started to look at Wheeler.
"I'm sorry I didn't notice your outfit before Wheeler. It looks good on you."
"Thanks Gi." Wheeler stated as he started to stand up and model the outfit. "It is the latest fashion trend for everyone here on New Thundera." Wheeler added as everyone started to laugh a little.
"Now you better go change my dear." Jagara stated as Gi started to get off the bed.
"Umm Wheeler are you going to?" Gi stated to say while trying not to embarrass herself and Wheeler.
"No. I am going to give you your privacy Gi. You have my word on it." Wheeler stated as he started to guide Gi towards the washroom and then closed the door as she entered.
After closing the door Wheeler went back to keep Ma-Mutt and Jagara company while Gi started to change clothes.
"Wheeler, why did you do that?" Jagara asked with a bit of wonder in her tone.
"Did what?" Wheeler replied.
"I thought you were going to join Gi as she started to change her clothing."
"I would never do that to anyone. I am a gentleman and I know that everyone needs their privacy. I did the same thing when you gave me these clothes as well. I wanted to change in private just in case Gi started to wake up. I wanted to give her the same treatment."
"Now that is an excellent answer my friend." Jagara stated as she sat down on her chair and Wheeler on the bed. "I only asked you because I wanted to know what kind of person you are, and now I know."
"Know what?"
"That you are very loyal and compassionate to others and that you think of them first before yourself."
"That is true but right now I don't know how I feel."
"Oh?"
"After what happened with Mumm-Ra's evil magic, I feel changed inside. Even after having Gi's soul helping me I feel that there is something missing and I don't know what it is."
"Is that why you took off this ring?" Jagara stated while getting off her chair and retrieving Wheeler's Planeteer ring.
"That ring has brought me nothing but life ending battles. Even though it does help to save the Earth from polluters I still have to risk my life day in and day out."
"The Thundercats are like that as well every time they faced off against Mumm-Ra. But their code of Justice, Truth, Honor and Loyalty is what keeps them strong through everything. I have a feeling that is the same for you and your friends."
"Maybe, but I don't know." Wheeler stated as Jagara started to place the ring back on the table. "Just think about what I said and remember that your friends are always here to help."
"Thanks Jagara." Wheeler replied a the restroom door started to open,
As the restroom door opened, Gi started to emerge while wearing the Thundarian outfit that Jagara had made for her. This outfit is almost the same outfit that Kara and Karen are wearing but with a little more blue on the chest part and some near the waist.
As Gi completely entered, Wheeler was almost at a loss for word when he saw how beautiful the young Asian was while wearing that outfit.
"Gi…. You… You look amazing." Wheeler stated while Gi started to blush a little.
"Thanks Wheeler." She replied while still blushing.
"Well I think that I should leave you alone for a while." Jagara stated while gesturing to Ma-Mutt. "Come along Ma-Mutt, these two have much to figure out between them. "She added as she and Ma-Mutt left the room.
As Jagara and Ma-Mutt left Gi and Wheeler alone, the two of them decided to sit down on the edge of the bed to talk about what happened before.
"Wheeler, about what happened before. You know with the kiss." Gi started to say while starting to feel a little embarrassed about everything.
"I know Gi. I'm sorry about that but I felt like I had to do it. It just felt right for some reason." Wheeler replied.
"Wheeler, I know I shouldn't say this, but please kiss me again. I need to understand why it meant a lot to me."
After Gi's statement, both Wheeler and Gi started to lean into each other until their lips met in the middle. As they both started to kiss, Gi was almost blown away from all of the passion Wheeler had given into the kiss. As they both continued, Gi started to feel more and more relaxed and enjoying every moment. After a while more, they both parted lips.
"Gi." Wheeler started to say as Gi was being pulled back to reality. "I love you." He added almost blowing Gi's mind away.
"Wheeler I, I…. I can't do this. Not to Linka." Gi started to say as Wheeled continued to hold Gi's hand. "Wheeler?"
"Gi. I want to continue and go further with you. Linka made it clear to me that she doesn't want anything to do with me."
"Wheeler that is not true. Linka still loves you"
"I don't care. Whatever feelings I had for Linka are gone after she told me to leave her alone."
"Wheeler she was poisoned by one of Spidera's children."
"I know but maybe some part of Linka wanted that to happen so that she wouldn't have to put up with me."
"Wheeler."
"Now I just want to be needed by some who really loves and understands me." Wheeler stated while looking at Gi. "I want you Gi. Maybe I wanted you for a long time, and after what happened when we both joined forces, I believe you want the same thing."
"I do want you Wheeler, but Linka, she will be mad at us if we go any farther."
"Let her be mad. I want you." He added as he started to kiss Gi again with more passion.
As Wheeler continued to kiss Gi, the Asian Planeteer couldn't control herself any longer. As Wheeler continued to kiss her, Gi was able to throw Wheeler down onto the bed's mattress while they both continued to kiss. After a moment more, Wheeler started to break the kiss from Gi's lips and started to kiss her neck with more passion than ever before. As Wheeler continued, Gi wanted so bad for this to continue but in the back of her mind she knew she couldn't allow this to progress any farther.
"Wheeler….. Please stop…. For Linka.." Gi stated as Wheeler stopped kissing Gi's neck.
"Gi, what is happening to me, why are we doing this? I'm so confused." Wheeler stated as Gi started to sit up straight on the mattress.
"Wheeler I think that somewhere deep inside you still love Linka and that is why this is happening." Gi replied as she started to hold Wheeler's hands.
"But she doesn't want me. You saw that from before. Even before everyone was turned to stone. She hates me."
"She doesn't hate you. It was the poison from one of Spidera's children that made her act like that."
"That maybe so, but maybe those feelings were always there but she needed a way to let them out."
"I don't believe that."
"Gi, deep down I think you do. Remember we shared our souls and I know how you feel about me and Linka."
After Wheeler's statement, Gi started to blush, knowing full well that she really cares deeply for Wheeler and wishes that he was hers.
"Gi. I want to go all the way with you despite what happens with me and Linka."
"Wheeler, no. I won't take advantage of you or this situation."
"Gi please. I need a release from everything that was happening with me. Being with you maybe the only solution."
"Wheeler, making love is serious, especially if it is with the one you care about the most."
"Then why shouldn't we just take the plunge together? I saw your feelings for me. Or are they just a show?"
After hearing Wheeler's statement, Gi know that she could no longer keep this to herself.
"Wheeler, my feelings for you are real. I do love you and I do want to take the plunge together but-"
"But what?"
"The consequences of our action at this point could effect our friendship as well as the team."
"Linka already effected the team after what she did to me. She made me feel like nobody wants me around."
"That is not true. I want you and need you." "Am I actually saying this? I must really love Wheeler more than I thought if I am saying all of this to him."
"I think I should leave now. Jagara and the others are probably standing outside the door hearing everything." Wheeler stated as he was starting to get up.
"NO!" Gi yelled as she grabbed Wheeler's arm and forced him down onto the mattress.
After that Gi started to climb on top of Wheeler's chest while placing her hands on the Thunderian clothing that she was wearing.
"Gi, if we do this, then there is no turning back for us. This could either ruin our friendship or bring us closer together." Wheeler stated as Gi started to remove her Thundaian shirt, revealing her bare chest.
"Wheeler, I'm tried of fighting my feelings for you. This time I am going to give into them at last." Gi stated as she started to kiss Wheeler with passion.
As Gi and Wheeler continued to kiss each other with passion, both of their clothing started to come off. After a few moments more of kissing each other they covered themselves under the sheets of Jagara's bed and continued to make passionate love to each other for the next 20 minutes.
As Gi and Wheeler were having their discussions, Jagara, Tor, Ran , Karen and Kara were all at the controls for the great Gyroscope, making sure that everything was working correctly and also making that Screwloose was also fully repaired.
"Jagara, are you sure you wanted to leave those two alone?" Tor asked with wonder.
"Tor, those two are in love with each other but neither of them wants to admit it." Jagara replied.
"How can you be so sure Jagara?" Kara asked with wonder as well.
"Gi allowed herself to be impaled with a sword in order to help her friend. That takes true courage and love for someone very special."
"And afterwards?" Ran asked.
"Wheeler placed her in my healing chamber and continued to watch over her. That also takes true love and loyalty."
"And now?" Karen asked.
"I believe they have finally told each other how they feel and are having a wonderful time showing each other."
"How do you know this? Ran asked.
"You just need to have faith and believe in true love." Jagara stated as everyone continued to go to work.
After Wheeler and Gi finished their escapade and fell asleep from their experience, the young Asian started to open her eyes and also started to look at the red-haired teen who she just finished making love to. As she continued to look on, she took her right hand and brushed it through Wheeler's hair, making sure that what happened wasn't a dream. Afterwards, she started to remove herself from the sheets very carefully, gathered her clothing and went into the washroom to clean up.
As Gi went inside the restroom, she closed the door and turned on the shower. As the water started to come down, the Asian Planeteer started to sit down under the shower head with her legs up to her face and started to cry.
"Oh man." Gi started to say. "What have I done? Why did I do that? Wheeler's married to Linka and now I am his mistress. Why did I give into my feelings?" I wish I never had these feelings to begin with." She stated as she failed to notice someone watching her from the open doorway.
As soon as Gi looked up, she started to see Wheeler standing there with a very saddened look on his face.
"So this was all a mistake then. You never wanted these feelings for me." Wheeler stated as Gi started to get up from the shower floor.
"No Wheeler." Gi started to say as she started to turn off the water and wrap her whole body with a towel. "What happened between us wasn't a mistake. I wanted this to happen for a long time."
"Then why say that?" Wheeler asked as he took a towel as well and wrapped it around his lower body. "Gi let's talk on the bed and I promise, just talking."
"OK." Gi stated with a saddened tone.
As they both exited the restroom, they both sat down on the bed and started to feel a little strange.
"Gi, I'm sorry if I made you feel sad for any reason."
"Wheeler I…. You didn't make me feel sad, it is just I wanted this for so long and now that it has happened I don't know what happens next."
"Neither do I Gi, but we will figure it out together."
"And the others?"
"I'm sure they will support our decision to be together."
"Even Linka?"
"Even Linka. Now we better get dressed and join our friends."
"What about everyone back on Third Earth they need our help." Gi stated while still wearing her Planeteer ring.
"I'm not sure if I want to continue being a Planeteer." Wheeler stated while looking at his ring on the desk."
"Wheeler, I am going to change and clean up and afterwards you should do the same then we should really talk." Gi stated as she re-entered the restroom.
As Wheeler watch the woman he made love to re-enter the restroom, he started to wonder if he is making the right choice about quitting the Planeteers. The team needs him and Gi right away and also wonders what is in his future with the young Asian.
After a few moments passed, Gi started to re-enter the room fully clothed in her Thundarian clothing.
"All set for you Wheeler." Gi stated as Wheeler started to get off the mattress. "Don't worry, I won't peek." She added with a wink.
"I know you won't Gi, I trust you." Wheeler replied as he entered the restroom and closed the door.
As Gi started to try and fix up the bed from their little tuffle, she started to hear a clicking sound on the doorknob.
"Now why didn't I think of that." Gi stated when she heard the locking sound.
As Gi was finishing up on the bed the door to the restroom started to open up and Wheeler emerged fully clothed in his Thundarian outfit. As he entered the room he started to see the young Asian in a whole new light. He never thought that making love to Gi would make her look so beautiful.
"That was very sneaky Wheeler." Gi stated as she finished and started to look at Wheeler.
"What was?" Wheeler replied.
"Turning the lock on the door handle."
"Well, I didn't want to take any chances. Sometimes you can be a bit sneaky yourself Gi."
"Wheeler. That is not fair. Remember you came into the restroom while I was completely in the buff."
"Yes and sitting on the shower floor with your knees up to your chest. Besides I know how sneaky you can be. Thanks to those memories I saw when you were younger. I have to admit, you were quite a little sneak back then."
"Wheeler." Gi stated while blushing.
"Gi, have I told you that you look very beautiful at this very moment."
"No."
"Well you do." He added as he started to take Gi's right hand with his left."
"So where do we go from here?"
"I don't know, but we will face it together."
"And your ring?" Gi asked as Wheeler started to get off the bed.
As Wheeler got off the bed, he started to head towards the table and grabbed his Planeteer ring.
"One last mission." Wheeler stated as he placed his Planeteer ring back on his finger.
"What about that over there?" Gi asked while seeing the sheath of the Sword of Plunn-Darr.
"I'll take it as well. It seems to belong to me now as well." Wheeler stated as he extended his right arm towards the sword.
As Wheeler finished extending his right arm and hand, the Sword of Plun-Darr started to rise off the ground and went straight into Wheeler's opened hand. A moment later Gi started to speak after seeing what has happened.
"Wheeler, how did you do that?" Gi asked after watching everything.
"I don't know, it just happened. It is like the sword and I are one." Wheeler replied as he placed the sword sheath on his left leg.
"Well whatever happened we need to get back to our friends but how? The Feliner is long gone and there is no other way off from here."
"There is a way, but I don't think you are gonna like it Gi."
"How so?" Gi replied with caution and wonder.
"We can leave using the same method that I used to get here with Ma-Mutt."
"What you talking about?"
"Ma-Mutt and I used Mumm-Ra's smaller sized Pyramid to transport us here. I think that there is enough room for two people in the bottom while Ma-Mutt operates the controls."
"Are you sure that is the only way back?"
"It is, but I want to ask Ma-Mutt if he can help us get back."
"Why?"
"Because he has changed. Ma-Mutt doesn't want to work for Mumm-Ra any longer and besides, I was the only one who showed him concern after he was burned."
"You're right about that. I remember that Ma-Mutt was burned, but I didn't know that you treated his wounds afterwards."
"He was hurt and I don't want to see anyone or any animal in pain."
"That was the right thing to do."
"I know, now let's see if Ma-Mutt will help us and maybe take us back to the Lair."
As the two Planeteers were continuing their conversation, Ma-Mutt as well as Jagara started to sense something strange and familiar coming from her chambers.
"Do you feel that Ma-Mutt?" Jagara asked while feeling a strange sensation coming around her.
"Jagara? Are you alright?" Tor asked as the door to her chambers started to open.
As everyone watched, Wheeler and Gi started to emerge from Jagara's chambers while holding hands together in their Thundarian clothing while at the same time wearing their Planeteer rings. After a moment, Ma-Mutt rushed over to the happy couple.
"Alright Ma-Mutt. Take it easy now." Wheeler stated as Ma-Mutt almost knocked down both Wheeler and Gi.
"Stop it, that tickles." Gi stated as Ma-Mutt was licking their faces.
As Ma-Mutt continued to lick both Wheeler and Gi, Jagrar started to approach the couple. After a moment more she started to speak.
"I'm glad to see that everything is fine with the two of you." Jagara stated while seeing a change in the couple.
"Yes Jagara. Wheeler and I were able to finally have our little chat." GI stated while trying not to blush a lot.
"So everything went OK? No problems I hope."
"Nope everything is just fine." Gi replied while Jagara started to sense something more.
"Wheeler, I see you are wearing your ring." Jagara stated while noticing. "Am I to assume that you reconsidered your decision."
"For now I have, but I need to think about it more before I make any final plans."
"I see. So are you two together?" Jagara stated while seeing the bluishness appear in Wheeler and Gi's faces. "Don't be mad or embarrassed. I figured you both would discover it on your own."
"You knew that this would happen and didn't tell us about it?" Gi started to say while trying to keep her anger in check.
"My dear, I could only know from your actions from before, nothing else."
"If that is true, then I'm sorry for my outburst." Gi replied in a much saddened tone.
"It is alright." Jagara replied as she gave Gi a hug.
"Jagara, thank you." Wheeler stated in his most honest tone.
"For what Wheeler?" Jagara replied.
"For giving Gi and myself time to discuss a few things that were very important to both of us."
"It was my pleasure." Jagara stated as she started to see Ma-Mutt wag his tail.
"I think Ma-Mutt wants to play a little."
"Maybe but I'm afraid that I need to ask Ma-Mutt something important." Wheeler stated as he started to look at Ma-Mutt. "Ma-Mutt, I need you to take me and Gi back to Third Earth in the mini Pyramid that we used to get here."
After Wheeler's statement Ma-Mutt started to whine and shiver.
"Ma-Mutt, I know you are afraid about what might happen, but you have changed. Besides I am asking you not ordering you. Will you help us get back home to help the others?" Wheeler asked with honesty in his tone.
After Wheeler's question, Ma-Mutt continued to whimper. Ma-Mutt was afraid that if he did help them get back to Third Earth that Wheeler and Gi would abandon him to Mumm-Ra.
"Ma-Mutt." Gi started to say while seeing the sadness on Ma-Mutt's dog face. "We want you to bring us back to the Cat's Lair on Third Earth, not Mumm-Ra's home." She added as she started to see a change in Ma-Mutt.
"Do you think you can help us Ma-Mutt?"
"If you are afraid about how the others might treat you, don't. They will welcome you into their home as we welcomed you into our hearts."
After Wheeler and Gi's statements, Ma-Mutt started to lick both of their faces again as well as wag his tail in excitement.
"I do believe that you have your answer there my friends." Jagara stated after watching everything.
"Yes, but now how do we get to the location? I mean Ma-Mutt can fly but as for us." Wheeler stated as a familiar voice started to speak.
"I think that we can help you with that problem." Tor stated as Wheeler and Gi started to turn around..
"The Whisker can go anywhere on New Thundera. All we have to do is follow Ma-Mutt." Kara added.
"Ma-Mutt if you are ready, would you please follow us to the elevator back to the surface." Tor stated as Wheeler, Tor, Gi and Kara started to head towards the elevator.
As they all started to head towards the Elevator, Ma-Mutt started to follow them all. After a moment the elevator started to rise from the Great Beneath towards the landing pad where the Whisker was waiting for them.
"There is the Whisker." Tor started to say. "Everyone get onboard." He added as they all started to board the vehicle.
After Tor's statement, Tor and Kara started to get inside the left side of the vehicle, while Wheeler and Gi started to climb into the right side. After a moment, Wheeler started to speak to Ma-Mutt.
"Alright Ma-Mutt, lead the way." Wheeler stated as the glass canopy closed over both compartments of the Whisker.
Without hesitation, Ma-Mutt started to levitate himself off the ground, and started to lead the group to the location of Mumm-Ra's mini pyramid. As the dog started to lead the group towards his former masters' home, Ma-Mutt was starting to get a very big feel of anxiety for coming back to the location where he wanted no part of.
After a moment more of flying and getting used to old surroundings, the group finally landed at their destination, Mumm-Ra's Thundarian Black Pyramid. As the group started their landing procedures, both Wheeler and Ma-Mutt started to sense something ominous about this location.
"Wheeler, is everything alright?" Gi asked while seeing how this place started to affect her lover.
"I'm….. I'm fine Gi." Wheeler replied while starting to hold onto Gi's left hand with his right.
"Are you sure?"
"No. Not really. I don't remember being here but some part of me does."
"It is alright Wheeler. I'm here and so is everyone else." Gi stated as she gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"Thanks Gi. I needed that." Wheeler replied as the landing procedures were completed.
As the Whisker completed it's landing procedures, the glass covering over both cockpits of the Whisker started to open up. After a moment everyone started to disembark from the vehicle and standing in front of Mumm-Ra's former Thundarian home.
"Wheeler, are you sure this is the only way back to Third Earth?" Gi asked while starting to feel scared.
"It is Gi." Wheeler replied as he started to turn his attention towards Tor and Kara. "Tor, Kara, thank you for helping us but, we need to go alone with Ma-Mutt." He added as Ma-Mutt was waiting fort them at the Pyramid's entrance.
"No way are you two going in there alone." Tor stated in his most determined tone.
"That's right." Kara started to add. The Thundercats have helped us now it is our turn to help them and you."
"Thank you." Gi replied as Wheeler nodded his head.
As the group entered the Pyramid, the four obelisks started to flash lighting between them while focusing the energy into the center Pyramid. As the groups continued to move through, the sense of anxiety started to overflow both Mumm-Mutt and Wheeler.
"Wheeler, what's wrong?" Gi stated while seeing that Wheeler has frozen in his tracks.
"I….. I don't know. For some reason I can't go any farther." Wheeler replied as Mumm-Mutt started to come back to Wheeler.
As Mumm-Mutt approached Wheeler, the dog also stopped in his tracks. It was like some sort of force was keeping them from moving through the Pyramid any further.
"Gi, I have an idea about what is happening, but you have to play along. The same for you guys as well." Wheeler stated as Gi, Tor and Kara nodded their heads.
"Whatever you need to do Wheeler, I'm here for you." Gi replied as she started to watch what was happening.
"ANCIENT SPIRITS OF EVIL, LET ME PASS! I HAVE PRISONERS OF NEW THUNDERA TO TOURTURE!" Wheeler shouted, while hoping to get the spirits attention.
A moment later they all started to hear the Ancient Spirits speak through the hallway.
"YOU EXPECT US TO BELIEVE YOU! WE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE BETRAYED MUMM-RA AND THUS YOU ARE NO LONGER WANTED HERE! BE GONE!" The Spirits shouted in rage.
"ANCIENT SPIRITS OF EVIL, I HAVE NOT BETRAYED YOU, NOT IN THE LEAST! DON'T FORGET I WAS THE ONE WHO CAME UP WITH THE PLAN IF MUMM-RA BETRAYED YOU!"
"THAT IS TRUE. YOU DID COME UP WITH THE PLAN THAT WILL DESTROY OUR SERVANT IF HE BETRAYS US! "
"THEN LET ME AND MY PRISONERS PASS! I HAVE MUCH INFORMATION TO EXTRACT FROM THEM!"
"VERY WELL, WE WILL REMOVE THE SPELL THAT BLOCKS YOUR PATH, BUT NO TRICKS!"
"ABSOLUTELY NO TRICKS!" Wheeler added as he started to feel movement back in his and Mumm-Mutt's legs. "Move it prisoners." He added as he pretended to move everyone into the main chamber.
As the group started to enter the main chamber, they all started to see a Casket just like the one Mumm-Ra uses back on Third Earth encased within a giant skull at the other side of the chamber. As they continued to move around, they also saw the statues of the Ancient Spirits of Evil standing at opposite ends of a circular Cauldron in the center. After a moment, the eyes on the skull started to glow green and the statue's eyes started to glow red.
"YOU HAVE DONE WELL WHEELER! NOW CHAIN THEM UP!" The spirits yelled.
"SORRY NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" Wheeler replied as the statues started to get angry.
"YOU WILL REGRET FOOLING US WHEELER!" The statues stated as red laser beams started to emit from their eyes.
"EVERYONE, GET BEHIND ME!" Wheeler shouted as he started to grab the Sword of Plunn-Darr.
As the sword was released from Wheeler's left leg, the blades started to extend as if on cue, and started to deflect the beams of energy. After a moment, the Planeteer of fire showed the Ancient Spirit's a new trick that the sword had kept hidden. As everyone started to watch, the double bladed sword started to separate and become two separate blades.
"THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" The spirits yelled in disbelief.
"You guys forgot one thing about me." Wheeler started to say before he shouted the answer back. "I AM THE PLANETEER OF FIRE!" He yelled as he aimed his ring at the statues.
As Wheeler shouted his command phrase, a red beam started to emit from his ring and struck one of the Statue's stone eyes. After a moment the Ancient Spirits started to yell.
"WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO HURT! YOU CAN'T HURT US!"
"I KNOW I CAN'T, BUT I NEEDED A TARGET TO DO THIS!" Wheeler shouted as he started to move the swords together so that the blades would overlap each other.
As the two blade of the now separate Sword of Plunn-Darr started to clank together, a red beam of flames started to emit from both swords and struck the statue where Wheeler's ring blast impacted. As the flames started to die down the Ancient Spirits started to speak again.
"THAT WAS AN INTERESTING TRICK, BUT IT STILL WON'T BE ENOUGH TO STOP US! NOW TAKE THIS! The Spirits yelled as more red energy beams started to shoot down from their eyes.
As the energy beams started to come down, Wheeler started to use both blade to try and deflect all of the beams. As he continued, one of the beams managed to strike his left arm, causing him to loose his grip on the on of the swords.
"WHEELER!" Gi yelled after seeing what happened.
"I'm alright Gi, but I can't use my left arm for a while." Wheeler replied.
"NOW YOU WILL PAY FOR BETRAYING US ONCE AGAIN WHEELER!" The Ancient Spirits yelled.
"NOT YET I WON'T!" Wheeler shouted back. "GI PICK UP THE OTHER HALF OF THE SWORD, I HAVE AN IDEA!" Wheeler stated as Gi started to do as Wheeler asked.
"OK I have it now what?" Gi stated as she started to feel something coming from the sword.
"Gi, focus your water power into the sword. I'll do the same with mine." Wheeler stated while Gi started to look confused.
"Focus my ring's power into the sword? But how?" Gi asked while still confused.
"Gi, concentrate. Close your eyes and feel the energy from your ring being drawn into the sword."
"Alright I'll try." Gi replied as she started to do what Wheeler asked.
As Wheeler and Gi started to concentrate and focus their Planeteer ring's powers, both swords started to go through a strange transformation. As they both continued to focus, Wheeler's sword blade started to transform into a fire blade of immense heat. As Gi continued to focus, her blade started to transform into a water blade of intense cold liquid.
"Wheeler this is like what happened inside your mind when we joined our souls together." Gi stated while remembering.
"If that is the case then let's do this together Gi." Wheeler stated as he started to raise his fire blade towards the statues.
"Alright." Gi replied as she also raised her sword towards the statues.
"Now Ancient Spirits of Evil, FACE OUR POWER!" Wheeler shouted as both fire and water started to flow from their swords and started to hit one of the statues with extreme force.
As everyone started to watch, the combined powers from Wheeler and Gi, combined with the strength of the Sword of Plunn-Darr started to crack one of the statues.
"NO! THIS IS IMPOSSIBILE! WE CAN'T BE DESTROYED! NOT BY YOU!" The Spirits yelled as Wheeler and Gi continued to use their powers to start to destroy the rest of the statues. "YOU FOOLS HAVE SEALED YOUR OWN FAITHS! BY DESTROYING US YOU ARE DESTROYING THIS FORTRESS! OUR MAGIC BUILT THIS AND ONCE WE ARE DESTROYED SO IS THIS!" The spirits added as the last of the statues started to crumble into dust.
"Wheeler if that is true." Gi started to say.
"Then we haven't much time left." Wheeler added as he started to shift his attention towards Tor and Kara. "Tor, Kara get out of here now!"
"But Wheeler." Tor started to say until they all started to hear a rumbling sound.
"There is no time to argue, NOW GO!" Gi shouted as Tor and Kara started to run back towards the main entrance. "Now what Wheeler? Where is it?" Gi added as more of the Pyramid started to crumble.
"This way." Wheeler stated as the Sword of Plunn-Darr started to re-forge itself back into one piece. "Follow Ma-Mutt and hurry." He added as they all started to follow Ma-Mutt.
As more of the building continued to come crashing down, Ma-Mutt was scratching Mumm-Ra's open Sarcophagus.
"What is it Ma-Mutt?" Wheeler asked while they were all running out of time.
"Wheeler, give me a hand here." Gi stated while noticing something where Ma-Mutt was scratching.
As Gi and Wheeler started to work together, the bottom of the Sarcophagus started to move, revealing a hidden chamber. As they was finally able to move the false bottom to reveal the hidden chamber they all started to see what they were looking for.
"There is it Gi. Our ticket home." Wheeler stated as they all started to see the mini Pyramid.
As the group was about to move into the chamber, Gi started to shout.
"WHEELER! WATCH OUT ABOVE YOU!" Gi shouted as a big chunk of the roof was falling down towards Wheeler.
As soon as Wheeler notice the large chuck heading down towards him, he started to grab the Sword of Plunn-Darr from his leg once again and flung it at the rock. Within moments, the blades extended and started to spin so fast it started to become a spinning buzz saw and sliced right through the rock causing it to become smaller pieces. After a moment the blades retracted and went back to Wheeler's Left hand.
"Thanks for the warning Gi. Now we have to hurry." Wheeler stated as they all entered the chamber and headed towards the mini Pyramid.
"Wheeler, I'm scared." Gi stated as they all saw how small the Pyramid transport is.
"It's Ok Gi." Wheeler stated as he extended his left arm and hand out for Gi to take. "Just take my hand and come with me."
"Wheeler, this is no time for jokes." Gi stated as the chamber started to fall apart.
"WE'RE OUT OF TIME! HURRY!" Wheeler shouted as Gi climbed into the lower section of the Pyramid after Wheeler and Ma-Mutt went into the control room.
"Gi, everything will be alright." Wheeler stated as Gi started to move her face closer to Wheeler's
"For luck and I think that we are gonna need every last ounce of it." Gi stated as she shared a very passionate kiss with Wheeler as Ma-Mutt started to power up the transport.
Within moments of Ma-Mutt pressing a few buttons and moving a few levers, the Mini Pyramid started to de-materialize as the last remnants of Mumm-Ra's Thundaraian Pyramid finally turned into dust.
As the Pyramid finally turned into rocks and dust, Tor and Kara were on the outskirts of the building, watching everything fall apart.
"Do you think they made it Tor?" Kara asked with some concern.
"I hope so." Tor replied as he started to grab hold of Kara's right hand with his left.
"Come on, we better rejoin the others and fill them in." Tor stated as he and Kara started to board the Whisker and headed back towards the Great Beneath.
As the events were happening on New Thundera, back on Third Earth, the morning sun started to rise as Lion-O and his team finally arrived at the remains of their home. As Lion-O, Linka, Kwami, Pumyra and the Thunderkittens all exited their vehicles, Panthro and Ma-Ti started to approach the group.
"Any luck stopping them Lion-O?" Ma-Ti asked with wonder.
"No Ma-Ti. In fact they almost wiped us out with a simple trick." Kwami answered back while Lion-O nodded his head in agreement.
"What do you mean by a simple trick?" Tygra asked with a curious tone in his voice.
"They tried to kill us using a trick that we saw in one of those spy movies that Wheeler showed us once on Hope Island." Kwami replied.
"Didn't the sword warn you of the trick?" Ma-Ti asked with wonder.
"No it didn't. The sword did show that Cheetara is in real trouble." Lion-O stated while trying to keep his anger in check.
"What did you see Lion-O?" Panthro asked.
"Mumm-Ra is trying to change Cheetara to work for him."
"It can't be true."
"I'm afraid that it is old friend. Cheetara's hair is changing from gold to black and if we don't get there soon we might be too late."
"Then we should get going right now."
"We can't. The Eco-Villains aren't that far from here and we have to deal with them first."
"Blast those new allies of Mumm-Ra. I'm gonna make them pay for destroying our homes." Panthro stated while trying to control his anger.
"We better hurry. They might show up any moment now." Kwami stated as they all started to hear a very strange noise.
"What is that sound?" Panthro started to say. "It sounds like engine firing." He added as the now mobile Castle Plunn-Darr started to emerge from the forest.
As the sound continued to get louder, the trees at the edge of the forest started to part as if something big was moving through the area. A moment later and the object started to emerge, this object was the now and newly modified Castle Plunn-Darr. As the castle cleared the forest, it stopped only a few feet from the edge of the chasm that was holding one side of the bridge that leads to the Thundercats destroyed home.
"Panthro, Tygra are the vehicles ready to go. We are gonna have a fight on our hands." Lion-O stated as Castle Plunn-Darr finished it's landing procedures.
"I believe so Lion-O, but no guaranties." Tygra replied in his most honest tone.
"We better be careful if they use that blasted WarBot again." Panthro added.
"I know Panthro." Lion-O replied as he started to take in a deep breath. "THUNDERCATS, READY FOR BATTLE!" Lion-O shouted as something started to happen at Castle Plunn-Darr.
As everyone watched, Castle Plunn-Darr started to open it's rock-type wings, and then lower it's head. A moment later . the WarBot started to emerge from the castle looking more powerful than before. As the machine continued to advance, the Thundercats started to create some sort of border in order to stop the machine's advance.
"Thundercats, no matter what happens, we make our stand here." Lion-O stated as the Warbot started to get closer.
"Pumyra, Tygra, Thunderkittens, Lynx-O, we need covering fire."
"Right Lion-O." Lynx-O replied as the Thunderstrike with the Thunderkittens and Tygra as well as Pumyra and the Hovercat started to take off to protect everyone.
As the two vehicles started to approach the WarBot, the giant machine started to fire it's Thundrainium beams at a higher intensity than from before. As the beams continued to fire from the robot's eyes, both the Thunderstrike and the Hovercat started to avoid the beams as fast as they can.
"Pumyra, cover us I have an opening for us to attack." Lynx-O stated into the comm unit from inside the Thunderstrike.
"Yea, let's get this thing really good." Wilykit stated in the rear seat from the left pod.
"Agree sis. Let's take this thing down." Wilykat added.
"Let's be careful. Something is not right here." Tygra started to say in a most worried tone.
"What do you mean Tygra?" Lynx-O asked while getting the Thunderstrike into firing position.
"It is firing at us but nowhere else. That is strange."
"I agree. We should be prepared for anything." Lynx-O replied as the Thunderstrike was in perfect firing position.
"Lynx-O, separate the pods, this way we can attack from all angles." Tygra stated into the Thunderstrike internal comm unit.
"Right Tygra." Lynx-O replied as the two pods started to separate from the main unit.
"Pumyra, now give us that covering fire." Lynx-O stated through the comm.
"Attacking now." Pumyra replied as she started to attack the War Bot with the Hovercat.
As Pumyra started to move in with the Hovercat, she started to position the rotor blades in front of the robot's face in order to try and distract it. As she got herself into position, Pumyra punched the throttle to maximum, hoping that the rotor blade's speed will push back the robot for a while.
As the rotor blade started to spin faster and faster, the wind generated from it started to impact the WarBot's face. As the wind continued to go full strength, the face of the Warbot started to shift it's attention towards the Hovercat and started to fire it's Thundrainium beams at the vehicle.
As Pumyra saw what was happening, the female Thundercat tried to evade the Thundrainum beam, but it still impacted the Hovercat.
"I'M HIT… I'M HIT!" Pumyra yelled as everything inside the Hovercat started to go crazy.
"Pumyra, what is happening?" Tygra asked while seeing the Hovercat in trouble.
"All systems are shorting out, trying to switch to the backup systems that we installed. Give me a moment." Pumyra added as she started to feel the Hovercat start to loose power and free fall. "Come on, trying to re-activate system… Now." Pumyra added as the Hovercat's systems started to come back online.
"Nice work Pumyra." Lynx-O stated while sensing Pumyra getting back control of the Hovercat.
"Thanks Lynx-O, I'm just glad that the backup system we installed actually works." Pumyra stated while the WarBot was zeroing in on her.
"Just be careful Pumyra. I don't know if the systems can handle another system short." Tygra stated in his most honest tone.
"Pumyra, watch out. "The WarBot is coming at you again." Lynx-O stated while sensing everything.
"Thanks Lynx-O. Take your shot when ready. I'll try to distract it some more." Pumyra added as she started to try and avoid more laser beams coming from the WarBot's eyes.
"All right Tygra, Thunderkittens, this is our chance. Take your shots but be careful." Lynx-O stated as they all reached their firing positions.
As Pumyra was continuing to distract the Warbot, Lynx-O, Tygra and the kittens positioned the Thudndestrike and it's pods into firing position and started to fire all of the vehicle's laser weapons.
As the lasers from all parts of the Thunderstrike started to impact onto their target, the armor, plus the Thundrainum, started to have a much different effect. As the beams struck the armor, they were re-directed into different directions, one of which was heading towards the Hovercat.
"Lynx-O, everyone, stop firing your laser beams are being deflected!" Tygra yelled as Pumyra continued to evade the laser beams.
"Right away." Lynx-O replied as he stopped firing the Thunderstrike's laser weapons.
"Sure thing" Wilykit added
As everyone stopped firing, the last of the laser beams was deflected off of the Warbot's armor and struck both the Thunderstrike and the Hovercat, but missed the Thundestrike's pods. After the laser beams impacted both vehicles, they both started to smoke.
"LINX-O, I'M HIT!" Pumyra yelled while trying to regain control.
"Same here Pumyra. Try to land back at the Lair, I'll do the same." Lynx-O replied as he tried to regain control as well.
"Roger that." Pumyra added as Tygra and Wilykit continued to evade the laser beams.
As both the their air vehicles started to head back, Tygra and the Kittens saw what was happening and started to return as well. As they all started to make their way back the Thundertank started to open fire with it's weapons hoping to give them more time to come up with a plan.
As the Thundertank continued to fire it's weapons, all of a sudden everything onboard the Tank stopped working.
"Lion-O, we have a problem with the Thundertank." Panthro stated as Lion-O approached the tank.
"What happened Panthro?" Lion-O asked with some wonder and concern.
"I don't know. All of the systems just shut down for no reason."
"Is it the Thundrillium supply?"
"I don't believe so. It has a full charge." Panthro stated as he started to climb out of the tank. "I'll try to figure out what is going on here but we need to stop that Warbot." Panthro added as the Warbot started to get closer to the remains of the Lair.
"Panthro we have got to get the tank working again." Lion-O stated as Tygra and the Thunder Kittens started to join them.
"Panthro, what happened?" Tygra asked with some concern.
"Yea all of a sudden you stopped attacking." Wilykat added.
"I don't understand what happened. All of a sudden, everything inside the tank just stopped." Panthro replied as the Warbot started to get closer.
"Panthro, we will have to worry about the Thundertank later. We have got to stop that Warbot before it causes any more damage." Lion-O stated as the rest of the Planeteers started to join them as well.
"Lion-O what happened to the Thundertank?" Kwami asked with some concern.
"We don't know. All of a sudden everything stopped." Lion-O replied.
"Linka can you try and help me get the tank working?" Panthro asked with wonder.
"Da, but what about our other problem getting closer to us." Linka replied.
"I'll try to by us some time." Kwami stated as he started to get his ring ready.
As Kwami was getting ready to help, something strange started to happen. All of a sudden the Thundertank's back weapon system started to come online and target Kwami. After a brief moment the cannon fired.
"KWAMI! LOOK OUT!" Linka yelled as she started to throw herself into Kwami in order to save him.
As Linka lunged into Kwami, the back cannon of the Thundertank fired. Thanks to Linka's quick thinking, the blast missed Kwami as both himself and Linka hit the ground.
"KWAMI, LINKA!" Lion-O shouted after seeing what happened.
"We're fine Lion-O" Kwami replied after getting his bearings.
"Linka?"
"Da. I'm alright as well." Linka replied.
After both Linka and Kwami's response, Lion-O started to shift his attention towards Panthro.
"Panthro what happened?" Lion-O asked with some concern.
"I don't know Lion-O. I can't explain it." Panthro replied while trying to figure out what happened as well.
As all of the Thundercats and Planeteers were trying to figure out what was going on, the Warbot stopped it's approach while something else started to happen within the Thundertank.
As they all continued to figure out why the main canon fired at Linka, the Tank's main engine started to come alive as the entire unit started to button up as if someone as activated it's feature. A moment later the vehicle started to move on it's own power.
"PANTHRO!" Lion-O shouted as he started to see the tank move on it's own power.
"WHAT IN BLAZES?!" Panthro yelled while seeing his tank operate with no one at the controls.
After Panthro's statement, the tank started to turn around and opened all of it's laser weapons. After a moment all of the lasers started to fire at the Thundercats.
"EVERYONE LOOK OUT!" Panthro shouted as the Thundertank's weapons started to fire.
As soon as Panthro finished shouting, all of the Thundercats were able toi avoid the lasers while the Planeteers were able to duck out of the way.
"Panthro, what is happening to your Tank?" Pumyra asked while seeing the Thundertank move on it's own.
"I don't know what is going on here." Panthro replied in a much confused tone.
After a moment, a strange voice started to come over the Thundertank's loud speaker.
"I hope you don't mind me playing with your little toy here." The voice started to say in a most insulting and digital tone. "And I heard that Thundercat tech is so advanced, what a disappointment." The voice added.
"TOY! DISAPPOINTMENT! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU I AM GOING TO RING YOU LIMB FROM LIMB FOR THAT REMARK!" Panthro yelled in a most angry tone.
"Pantho, I know who's voice that is." Linka started top say as she started to recognize who was speaking from the Thundertank.
"WHO'S VOICE IS IT AND WHERE CAN I FIND THAT PERSON!" Panthro yelled in anger as the Thundertank continued it's attack.
"That voice belongs it Blight's computer friend. MEL." Linka replied while seeing how angry Panthro was becoming.
"HOW DID THAT COMPUTER GET INSIDE MY THUNDERTANK?!" Panthro yelled while still trying to evade the Tank's laser fire.
"If your tank was linked into the Lair's computer system, then it would be easy for MEL to gain control of it." Linka replied while avoiding the lasers as well.
"Panthro we have got to stop the Thundertank by any means necessary, before it destroys us first." Lion-O stated as the Thundertank's weapons was starting to damage the rest of the vehicles being repaired.
"I know Lion-O. We can rebuild the tank but we can't rebuild anyone who's lost their life." Panthro replied as he started to show a clinched fist in his right hand.
"Then we better stop them here and now." Lion-O replied as he started to draw his sword from his Claw Shield.
"Wait Lion-O, there maybe another way to stop the tank." Panthro started to say hoping to stop everyone from destroying his baby.
"How can we stop the tank Panthro? It is destroying everything in its path." Linka added as the tank continued to destroy and damage the remaining vehicles of the Thundercats.
"We have to disconnect the Thundrillium power supply. That should shutdown the Thundertank." Panthro replied in his most honest tone.
"Where is the power supply Panthro?" Linka asked with wonder.
"The power supply is in a small compartment in the rear of the tank. But first we have to stop it from moving around."
"Leave that to me." Lion-O added as he started to draw his sword. "HOOOOO!" Lion-O shouted as the sword transformer from dagger mode to long sword mode.
"Lion-O, don't tell me you are going to destroy my tank?" Panthro asked with wonder and worry.
"Not really Panthro. I just need to knock out the treds on either side of the tank and that should stop it from moving around." Lion-O replied.
"Good thinking Lion-O, then we can remove the power supply and stop MEL." Linka added.
"But first we need to get MEL's attention away from the others." Lion-O stated with wonder in his voice.
"Leave that to me." Linka replied as she started to aim her ring in the direction of the Thundertank. "WIND!" Linka shouted as her ring started to activate once again.
As Linka shouted her command, a small tornado started to appear in front of the Thundertank, causing it to stop firing it's weapons. After the tornado died down, the tank started to turn around and started to head straight towards Linka's position. As the tank started to move again, a voice started to come out from the tank.
"So you want me to destroy you first then? With pleasure. We need a funeral for an Eco-Brat anyway." The voice stated as the tank started to get closer.
"Get ready Lion-O, I do believe you will only get one shot at this." Linka stated as the Thundertank was only moments away from her.
"Alright Linka. MOVE!" Lion-O shouted as the Thundertank came into range. "HO!" Lion-O shouted as a white energy beam started to come out of the sword.
As Lion-O shouted his command, the Sword of Omens started to emit a white energy beam from the tip of the sword and started to move in the direction of the Thundertank's left tred. As the energy beam started to come closer, the tank at the last second started to maneuver out of the beam's path to avoid it striking the target. After a moment a voice started to come from inside the Thundertank.
"Was that supposed to stop me." The voice stared to say as the Thundertank started to turn around again. "You can't stop me, I have calculated everything that you could do and came up with a counter move. You will never be able to stop us from destroying all of you." The voice continued to say in it's most honest and digitized tone.
"I may not be able to stop you, but I can distract you long enough." Lion-O replied.
"Long enough for what?" The voice stated as someone was sneaking around the back of the Thundertank.
As the Thundertank was being distracted, Panthro started to reach the rear compartment where the Thundrillium power source was being held. As he started to open the compartment, the dark Blue Thundercat started to receive a sudden jolt of energy as soon as he started to place his hands on top of the power source.
"You thought you were going to take away my power supply? Big mistake Thundercat." The voice stated as some sort of energy field started to surround the power source. "I told you that I am prepared for anything that you may try."
"Are you sure you are prepared for this?" A voice stated from behind the Thundertank.
"DO IT NOW, LINKA!" Lion-O shouted to Linka.
"WIND!" Linak shouted as he ring started to activate.
Within moments of saying her command phrase, a small tornado started to appear from underneath the Thundertank. After a few moments the small tornado started to get larger and larger until it started to completely envelope the Thundertank. After a moment more the tank was starting to be lifted off the ground.
"Having fun MEL?" Linka stated while still generating the wind. "Now how about I take you for a spin." Linka added as she started to make the Thundertank turn upsidedown and then rightside up multiple times.
As Linka continued to have fun with MEL inside the tank, both Panthro and Lion-O started to laugh a little.
"All right Linka. I think that computer program has had enough." Panthro stated as Linka started to place the tank on the ground upsidedown again.
"You Planet-pests are gonna pay for this you little-" MEL started to say until he was shutdown.
"Nice job there Panthro." Linka stated as Panthro was finally able to remove the Tank's power supply.
"Thanks Linka, and also great job on making sure that computer program was completely disoriented in the process. The field he put up before was gone when I tried again." Panthro replied.
"MEL said that he was able to predict everything that we would do, so I borrowed a page from my Yankee's book. Be wild and unpredictable."
"Good thinking Linka, that's one problem down, now all we have top worry about is the Warbot." Lion-O stated to say as the massive machine started to advance once again towards the lair.
"Wheeler, Gi where are you." Linka started to say before she shouted again. "WHEELER, GI WE NEED YOU!" She yelled as something strange started to happen in the area.
As soon as Linka finished yelling into the sky, something strange started to happen around them. Within momenst the entire area around the lair and the battlefield started to become enveloped in some sort of blinding white light. The light was so bright that everyone stopped moving to shield their eyes so that they wouldn't be blinded.
As the light continued to blind everyone, a strange object started to materialize only a few meters away from the wreckage on the Cat's Lair's right claw. As the light started to dim, the object started to reveal it's self. As the object was finally revealed to be a smaller version of Mumm-Ra's own Black Pyramid, little did everyone know that their real battles as well as life changing events were about to unfold.
