A/N: This is posted over on AO3 completed already if you don't want to wait for it to post here. Just an FYI, I stopped watching season 3, so there's no Tanya/Justin in this fic. Kat's here, and there's no Kat bashing in this fic. There's also mentioning of mental health issues throughout so just an FYI for those that may trigger. Thanks RaptorZeroOne for letting me know about the formatting, I haven't posted on this site in so long I forget it does that sometimes!

Kimberly stood next to her coach, waiting for the numbers to come back on her last event. She had managed to get silver on the uneven bars, and now she had just nailed her best performance on the balance beam. Finally, the announcer spoke, the crowd erupting in cheers as her 14.65 was announced. Kimberly's face lit up, and she hugged her coach.

It had been a rough time training, but it was worth it for this one minute. She was led over to the waiting area, watching with breathless anticipation as the next competitor went. When the last girl heard her score, Kimberly tried to hold in her excitement as she was announced for the gold medal, wiping away tears as she was led to the podium, bending down to have her prize placed around her next.

She waved at the crowd, knowing that her parents were both up there, putting aside their anger towards each other to support their daughter. Camera's flashed, and she smiled, realizing that she had done it. She had competed for and won Olympic gold, the highlight of any gymnast's career. The sounds of the National Anthem started, and she put her hand over her heart, closing her eyes to stop the tears.

"She's amazing." Zack said, waving his hands at the TV as if Kimberly could see them. The original Rangers and the three oldest replacements had gathered for a viewing party, cheering on their Pink Ranger.

"I can't believe that dismount. The odds of her hitting that are astronomical." BIlly chimed in, pausing briefly to tap Tommy on the shoulder. The former White Ranger had watched Kimberly's routine in silence, not even smiling when she was finished. Billy glanced over at Jason, who shrugged and stood up,

"I'm too excited to watch anymore of this. Let's do something else." He suggested shutting off the TV.

"Like what?" BIlly asked, looking over at his old leader.

"Maybe we can taunt Zedd and Rita into a battle?" Zack half joked, ducking when his friends threw pillows at him.

"You guys are nuts." Aisha stated, eyeing Tommy as well. Trini had gone to sit next to him, laying her head on his shoulder and whispering to him. Tommy stood, turning his back to the TV.

"I've got to go practice for the tournament." He muttered, grabbing his bag.

"Tommy-"

"Trini, I'm not ready for this right now. Please." He said, walking out the door before anyone could stop him.

"Maybe we shouldn't have done this." Rocky commented from his stop on the floor, yelping when Trini and Aisha kicked him.

"It's been three years. I thought he'd be ok by now." Trini sighed, sitting back down on the couch.

"I thought he was going to with Kat, but that didn't work out either." BIlly said, sitting down next to Trini.

"Because she couldn't compare to Kim, and she knew it." Jason muttered under his breath. He had liked Kat, but she had never been more than Kimberly's replacement to him. It had been cliché when Tommy had started dating her, but he had seemed happy enough that Jason had not gotten involved.

However, Kat and Tommy had broken up right before Kimberly had called them with the news she had been invited to compete in the Olympics, and Kat had moved on from the Power Rangers, moving to New York for school.

"This sucks." Adam chimed in finally, tossing popcorn at Rocky. "I wish we could just be happy for a change." He continued.

"That's too much to ask for apparently." Billy said, looking towards the TV again. They were already moving on from the competition, talking about the next event.

"I wish we could have been there for her." He said wistfully, sighing.

"Me too." Trini muttered under her breath.

"Maybe she'll swing by sometime." Zack said, looking down at his phone. "Darn. I've got to go. I got called into work."

"Yea, we should go too." Jason said, looking at Trini.

"I guess." Trini said reluctantly, looking at Billy. "Do you need a ride?" She asked quietly.

"No, I'm good. Thanks though." BIlly said, waving them away. He had walked over, only living a few blocks away. He spent way too much time sitting and looking at computers nowadays.

"Night guys." Aisha said, hugging Trini.

"Yea, night." Rocky and Adam said from the floor, where they had started to engage in a wrestling match. Aisha watched them, sighing.

"Guys." She said, arching an eyebrow at them.

"Sorry." Adam said, at once pulling away from Rocky, who snickered and made a motion like he was cracking a whip. Adam turned, jumping Rocky again and rolling around while Aisha rolled her eyes.

"Boys." She muttered, looking over at Billy who just shook his head and smiled.
