Consider this a spin off to the Loud Camp TV saga born out of my liking of writing reaction chapters but this might be a one off or I might do more chapters so I am listing this as incomplete. This is back during the time of the show in the universe so put it during the first season of the Casagrandes show. They might end up having their memories of what the show reveals erased later but this is just for fun and not to be taken too seriously. Plus expect call forwards to certain revelations made during the fics and don't expect the chapters too often are more for fun than the other main fics.
Plus since on YouTube; the All Stars season of Disventure Camp is set to premiere... Would you like to see a fic of Lincoln interacting with my main man Alec? Rooting for either him, Ally, Ellie or Lake to win the entire thing. Also while the first season of the TDI revival hasn't actually aired in the UK; the 2nd season is starting to premiere here in the UK with the entire season on BBC Iplayer and I know who the winner is. No spoilers but while the winner isn't my first choice; I am happy with the outcome.
It was a seemingly normal day at the Loud House in Royal Woods in the middle of the first day of Summer vacation; well normal for the Loud family that is. Lori was in charge while the parents were at work and was shouting at her siblings to behave while she was trying to talk to Bobby on the phone. "Lola... Lana... Can't you share... Lynn stop with the indoor football and... Lisa; what do you think you are doing to the TV!" Lori screamed as the twins were fighting over a dime and they all noticed that Lisa was connecting some sort of device to the TV box.
"Behold siblings to the ultimate Time Streaming Service!" Lisa said dramatically getting her siblings' attention but they stared blandly causing her to sigh. "I will explain those plainly for those with less IQ than myself... This machine will allow our TV box to pick up streaming service signals from the future... Pirating future shows! Testing the prototype on my computer; I was able to pick up on a documentary revealing the 11 herbs and spices as well as talking about yet to be revealed evidence that fully explained what happened to Amelia Earhart!" Lisa explained as they slowly started to pick up on it.
"So... We can watch future seasons of the Love Boat?" Lori asked excitedly as she quickly told Bobby that she would call him back later.
"I can watch all the episodes that will ever exist of Vampires of Melancholia?" Lucy asked sounding more excited than her usual deadpan voice.
"I can see how much of a star that I become?" Lola asks grinning.
"I can watch myself win every sports championship as a pro?" Lynn asked grinning as hard as Lola.
"I can watch future fashion shows?" Leni asked.
"I can watch animal TV specials?" Lana asked.
"I can watch airings of blockbuster movies that haven't even been pitched yet?" Lincoln asked.
"I can watch future comedy specials that I star in?" Luan asked.
"I can watch concert specials with me performing?" Luna asked.
They all ended up looking excited as Lisa sighed and said "I suppose if you want to use the service for those reasons instead of seeing what future scientific breakthroughs are made then I guess we could..."
"Who is up for seeing what future reality TV shows we could find?" Lori asked and they all put their hands up and put themselves on the couch as Lisa sat down and fired it up with the remote to it. They looked and saw the selection and saw one with the year on it five years in the future and the title 'Total Drama Island' caught their eye.
"16 teens compete for a cash prize on a crummy summer camp island in Canada... That sounds like something that reality TV contests were made for..." Lynn said as they they read the description and they decided to play the first episode of that.
"Reality TV 5 years in the future... This should be fun..." Lori grinned along with everyone else.
At the Dock of Shame of Camp Wawanakwa; Chris McLean "yo; we are coming up to you live from Camp Wawanakwa in Ontario! I'm your host Chris McLean dropping the first season of the hottest new reality TV show right now!"
"Anyone heard of him?" Lincoln asked and they shrugged their shoulders while shaking their heads.
Chris walked across the camp explaining "here's the deal: 16 campers have signed up to spend weeks at this crummy old Summer camp! They will compete in challenges and then face the judgement of their fellow campers. Every 3 days one team will lose and vote one off to ride the Dock of Shame, ride the Boat of Losers and leave for good!"
"Dock of Shame and Boat of Losers... I am definitely gonna find this fun..." Lynn laughed along with some others.
At the campfire pit; Chris continued to explain "their fate will be decided in the dramatic campfire ceremonies where each challenge; all but one camper will receive a marshmallow. At the end; only 1 will be left standing winning cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune which will probably be blown in a week. to survive they will have to battle insects, wild animals, disgusting camp food and eachother! We have hundreds of cameras to capture every moment and now I welcome to you the 16 campers of... Total... Drama... Island!"
"Chris already looks like he will be a fun host..." Luan then said and some nodded.
The show's theme song I Wannabe Famous plays as the cameras are shown popping up around the island.
From the Dock of Shame; the camera zooms in and tours the island going past an annoyed Chris as it ends up going up the mountain and then down to the water.
"The song isn't bad to jam to..." Luna said head bopping as they found the song fun so far.
In the water Owen ends up farting causing a fish to die as it goes up to the water and taken by an eagle.
Lori and Lola looked grossed out while Lana laughed. "I can already tell that I can't wait until he is out..." groaned Lola.
It then drops the fish as DJ is meditating with animals around him but the fish sets it off and he starts to run away.
Zoey watches this concerned as she is with Dawn petting a deer as the animals then leaves DJ alone to go up to Dawn for her to happily pet.
They winced at DJ but then saw Dawn; "I like her already..." Lana said smiling at the nature lover.
The scene switches to a near perfect drawing of the scene that is being drawn on a canvas by Gwen while next to her Lincoln is practicing magic with his hat.
"A goth..." Lucy said interested thinking that she had someone to root for.
Lily said something at the screen while being held by Luna as she pointed to the older Lincoln. They looked at him.
"Wow Lincoln... That guy kinda looks like you if you were older..." Lana said as they could tell the resemblance.
"I was thinking of trying magic as a hobby..." Lincoln then said to himself while thinking that Gwen looked cool.
Out from the hat comes a squirrel who then runs up to Lightning practicing stopping tackles with his football but the squirrel then bites his ankle causing him to end up throwing his football.
"A jock..." Lynn smiled as they winced at this.
Cody is seen flexing next to Heather and Lindsay who were sunbathing by the waterfall; Heather is unimpressed while Lindsay is smiling. Cody is then hit in the head from behind by the football as he then lands in the water and ends up splashing them with Heather glaring at him hatefully over being wet.
"So a wannabe player and I think I know who the mean girl is... The one to be shallow but also manipulative..." Lori said knowing those types in these kind of reality shows and they nodded.
Tyler is seen picking up the football as he then runs towards the mess hall and through the window; Chef is seen setting up his food pot while Ezekiel tied up looks scared.
"I don't want to imagine what the food must be like..." muttered Lynn as they cringed.
Courtney is seen writing something in a notebook as out the window Katie and Sadie are seen swooning over Justin as he is checking himself on the Dock of Shame shirtless with twin mirrors.
The girls started swooning at Justin while Lincoln sighed; "This is going to be Justin all over again... I can tell..." Lincoln muttered to himself.
Over a bird in the water a fish jumps up to be eaten by a shark also jumping up as the bird is taken in by an octopus tentacle.
It cuts to the campfire and in the middle Lincoln has Dawn and Gwen sitting either side of him looking at him with interested eyes and Zoey was smiling as she was patting Dawn on the shoulder.
"Oh... So a love triangle..." Lori said interested along with them as that was always juicy in these type of shows and Lincoln couldn't help but find Dawn and Gwen looking pretty. That guy that looked like him must be lucky.
Ezekiel then shows up next to Lincoln; pulling him in with his arm around his neck as Ezekiel has the biggest smile on his face. He puts up his other hand for a fist bump motion that Lincoln returns it as Gwen glares at Ezekiel while Dawn just looks disappointed.
"Looks like the guy has that loser wanting to be his best friend..." Luan laughed along with the others.
"I hate to be that guy..." laughed Lynn.
It cuts to the while cast sitting at the campfire as they whistle the final notes with the sign saying 'TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND'.
"I do like the song..." Luna said as they ended up nodding.
At the Dock of Shame; Chris was there saying "alright here comes the campers; who have all been told that they were staying at this five star resort so if they seem a little annoyed then that's why." Chris laughed.
"That's sure to put them on a bad mood when they arrive..." Leni said as they nodded.
The cruise ship arrived with Tyler skiing on it only to have a wipe out; "Oh nice entrance but you didn't stick the landing Tyler..." Chris laughed helping Tyler up onto the Dock.
They were amazed by the cruise ship and what Tyler was doing but laughed at what happened.
Dawn greeted Chris with a wave as she appeared right behind him; "What? How... I never saw you go down... Did any of you?" Chris muttered in shock and confusion looking up and the campers on the cruise ship looked surprised as well. "Well welcome to TDI; Dawn." Chris managed to say as Dawn smiled at him.
"Your welcome Chris; you might need to calm down as your aura reads as tense. I am most excited to be here among nature on the island!" Dawn told him as she walked to join Tyler.
"Did she teleport like what Lucy seems to do when we are not noticing her..." Lynn asked as they were wide eyed while Lucy sighed.
"So is she one of those hippie types?" Lynn asked as they shrugged as it looked like that.
Then came down was an annoyed Gwen; "Welcome to Camp; Gwen." Chris greeted her.
"You are not serious about us staying here! I didn't sign up for this! Gwen ranted in his face and Chris brought out her contract; Gwen ripped it in half and tossed it in the water.
"Lawyers make lots of copies." grinned Chris bringing out another copy of her contract with Gwen calling him a jerk.
"Oh; a goth with an attitude..." spoke Lori as they found that amusing.
"But she has an artistic side from what the opening suggests..." Lincoln ended up saying as the rest shrugged at that with Lucy wondering if he was going to be a Gwen fan as well.
DJ came down next; "DJ: welcome to the Island!" Chris said as he got a high five from DJ.
"Is this really the right place? Looked a lot different on the application form..." DJ asked as he went to join the others.
They could feel his confusion.
Heather went down and her face was furious looking at the Camp; "Heather..." Chris said as Heather just passed him. "Yeah; polite one she is..." Chris said sarcastically.
They rolled their eyes; aready telling that she saw herself as too good to be amongst them all.
"Lindsay!" Chris greeted Lindsay as she went down.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" Lindsay asked looking at Chris all confused scratching her head as Chris raised an eyebrow.
"Chris. Chris McLean as in the host of the show?" Chris asked as Lindsay said that's where she saw him and went to join Heather and Chris shook his head.
They looked at Leni; being reminded of her but didn't say a word.
Then came down was Justin; "Justin; welcome to the show." Chris said giving Justin a fist bump. "Just so you know; we only chose you for your looks." Chris informed Justin who didn't look bothered at all.
The girls swooned again as Lincoln just shook his head.
"Katie, Sadie welcome to your new home for the next few weeks." Chris greeted Katie & Sadie.
"Sadie look; it's a summer camp!" Katie told Sadie excitedly.
"I always wanted to go to summer camp!" Sadie excitedly replied as they joined the others.
"Best friends who share the same fashion..." smiled Leni as the rest thought that they did look close as well as possibly sharing the same braincell.
"Ezekiel, what's up..." Chris greeted Ezekiel who was next and pointed up to the sky Chris and took him in closer; "Here's the deal; I know you don't get out much dude with you being homeschooled by freaky prairie people so don't say much and try and not get kicked out too soon." Chris advised him as Ezekiel went to join the others.
"He is first one out for sure..." Lola said at once with Lynn and Lori nodding their heads.
"Looks like the guy that looks like Lincoln will only have to deal with him for a short time." Luan then said.
"Zoey; what do you think about being here?" Chris greeted Zoey as she was down next.
"Fantastic; I live in a small town and I always wanted to meet new people and make some friends! I already think that I have made some friends including this boy Lincoln and hey Dawn!" Zoey said and went to join Dawn with the others.
"Wow; joining the show to make friends." Leni said looking happy for Zoey looking like she already succeeded.
"With the hippie girl thought..." Lola then said.
"There's a Lincoln as well..." Lincoln pointed out and they found that funny.
"Cody the Codster; the Codmeister!" Chris high fived Cody as Cody went to confidently join the others and winked to the girls who barely reacted.
"Yep; he is literally one of those type of guys..." muttered Lori shaking her head as some of the sisters and Lincoln cringed.
"Owen... Get off now!" Chris complained and Owen pulled Chris into a bearhug and to the others with mixed results.
They ended laughing while finding this amusing.
"Now here comes Lightning!" Chris said as Lightning confidently ran down the ramp and onto the Dock as if he was on a track.
"You see this? Lightning have been winning trophies since Lightning was in Kindergarten; this is going to be another big win for Lightning!" Lightning said flexing his muscles and joined the others.
"Confidence; let's see how that goes." Chris commented.
"The jock... Who does he remind you off..." Luan said as all eyes were on Lynn as she was open mouthed and then closed it glaring at them.
"Courtney!" Chris greeted Courtney and she went down.
"Nice to meet you Chris; I hope to win but nothing personal against any of the other campers!" Courtney said confidently joining the others.
"One more to go..." Lisa then said having done the math.
"Finally here is the boy who was lucky enough to get chosen for our 1 spot for an American contestant: Lincoln!" Chris greeted as Lincoln went down to join everyone on the dock.
The TV was paused as they took this in wide eyed.
"So is he actually..." Lori then asked but couldn't continue.
"The math lines up if this is 5 years in the future..." Lisa then said.
"So many teenagers from here would have made auditions for that 1 solo spot and... I was chosen?" Lincoln questioned as they then unpaused it.
"Wow; you comes from the US? What's the clothes like?" Lindsay said her eyes widening with interest making Lincoln reminded more of Leni.
"You were the only American chosen? Lightning will have his eyes on you to see what makes you so special!" Lightning warned with two fingers to his eyes and pointed to Lincoln as he felt like he found another competitive teen to watch out for.
"If that is you brah then you have a target on your back already..." Luna then said as they nodded and Lincoln gulped.
Chris had then all posed together for a photo and said to join him by the campfire pit in ten minutes.
They were all sitting down at the campfire pit with Chris facing them; "For the summer; Camp Wawanakwa is your home and the campers sitting around you will be your cabin mates, your competition and maybe even your friends! The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted out will win 100 thousand dollars!" Chris explained.
"If that is him... He would win all that money..." Lynn said excited along with the others.
"Depending on how the exchange rate changes in the next half of a decade... That isn't actually that much here. Canadian dollar is worth less than the US dollar." Lisa told them and they ended up looking dissapointed.
"Well that's a bummer..." Lynn muttered with some nods.
"How about the sleeping arrangements? I mean I am concerned that the girls here won't be able to resist the Codmeister for long!" Cody asked getting up to do some flexing motions to some odd looks, some unimpressed looks and some snickering.
Blinks and sighs at this.
"Girls get one side of the cabins and boys the other." Chris explained and after some reactions Chris got a sheet of paper up. "I am going to split you into 2 teams. Go stand over there if I call your name out!" Chris said pointing as Lightning, DJ, Lindsay, Justin, Tyler, Zoey, Heather & Dawn were called out and they got up from their stumps.
"You know what this means right best friend? We are on the same team!" Ezekiel said excitedly putting his arm around Lincoln's shoulder as he was almost ready to plead to change teams as he got looks of pity from the others and there was Zoey and Dawn who looked concerned.
"If that's me... How did I get stuck with him as a 'best friend'... That is strictly for Clyde..." Lincoln asked as they all frowned.
"Well future you better ditch the dead weight as soon as possible... Preferably before he ends up getting himself kicked off..." Lori then told him.
"From this point on you are the Screaming Beavers!" Chris said tossing them their flag with an angry looking beaver on them. "The rest you will be known as the Killer Hamsters!" Chris said tossing them their flags with Katie and Sadie excited about being on the same team but Courtney frowned.
"They get beavers and we're hamsters?" complained Courtney with a groan.
"I agree with her... That's a lame name..." Lynn said as Lana frowned.
"Geo is no killer..." Lana then said.
"Hamsters are cool Courtney; we have one at home and Geo is a neat little guy. Never leaves his ball." Lincoln said trying to lighten his spirits as well as the others who weren't too keen on their based animal.
They blinked and looked at the screen and then towards Lincoln.
"Even sounds like you only older..." Lori then said as they then began getting very excited.
"Way to go bro! Five years and you get to be on a reality TV show all the way in Canada!" Luna told him.
"This is literally huge..." Lori then said.
"I wish that future me got to give you big fashion tips!" Leni then told him.
"You better win this all..." Lynn then told him and Lola then nodded.
Lincoln felt overwhelmed but couldn't help but feel excited.
"Wait a minute... Does this means that Lincoln gets the goth girl and the animal lover interested in him?" Luan asked as they blinked and smirked at Lincoln making him red as he groaned.
"What a stud..." teased Lori as Lincoln knew the looks that they were giving him and it was never a good sign.
Chris explained that they will be on camera on all public areas during the competition.
Chris was in the outhouse facing the camera explaining that they will be able to share their innermost thoughts and feelings on tape on video diaries anytime that they want; let the audience know what they are thinking or get something off their chest.
"In a smelly outhouse?" Lola asked in disbelief as they looked grossed out; except for Lana.
Gwen sitting in the confessional said that so far this sucks.
"To the point and she is right... Literally stinks..." Luan then said and laughed as they sighed at the pun.
Lindsay was facing away from the camera trying to find it.
Shakes of the head at this.
"Okay to my parents and my sisters and friends back home... I am here and this place doesn't look what was expected but Camp Mastodon should have kept me prepared for what it comes. The people here for the most part seem cool enough and I think I found at least 2 girls to be friends with others I can see... Except for some... But there was this one boy I took pity on as he seemed to be sheltered and clueless but I am still not sure about my decision... Lincoln admitted in the confessional.
"Oh so he is a pity project then... Better still dump him..." Lola said and they nodded.
"Wait... Camp Mastodon? Isn't that dad's old childhood Summer camp?" Lori then asked eyes widening and they nodded.
"So I guess that I end up going at some point..." Lincoln then said and they thought that it must be it.
"Mum, Dad! I already found my first friend on the ship! His name is Lincoln and he said that he has 10 sisters back home; I think we bonded and you know how you told me to look after the girls here because of their disadvantage? I think he can help me out with that!" Ezekiel said in the confessional excitedly.
They blinked and glared hard at the screen; "Definitely dump him as soon as possible..." Lori warned Lincoln with the sisters nodding at once making him gulp once more.
The Screaming Beavers were going into their cabin and Heather commented on the bunk beds seeming like summer camp; she then looked to her teammates and shouted "look all of you losers; don't get in my way and I will leave you alone otherwise you are dead!"
"Definitely Lynn vibes..." Lana said as Lynn glared at her.
Outside the cabin Lindsay asked about outlets and Chris explained about the communal bathrooms and it led to Gwen calling Lindsay an idiot and she complained in response.
"She's not wrong..." Lori ended up saying.
Lightning was doing star jumps as he said "Lightning should be on a team of one; used to doing everything on my own so you had better not bring Lightning down with your lesser talent and skills!"
Lynn just folded up her arms at the looks that she was getting.
"I was hoping we could all be friends but so far, I don't think most of our teammates will be getting along..." complained Zoey as the team was glaring at Lightning but Dawn was down. "Are you still thinking about how Lincoln is stuck with that sexist idiot who he had unwittingly attached as a friend? I am sure Lincoln will be fine and he might be on the other team but that doesn't mean that we can't be friends!" Zoey assured her and they spotted Lincoln with his suitcases as he went to go up to them.
"I hate to imagine what a fool of himself Ezekiel made on that ship that Zoey knows about it..." Luna said as Leni's eyes widened.
"Didn't Zoey said that she had Linky as a friend already?" Leni then said as they realised that.
"At least you made one friend there not to be embarrassed by..." Lynn then told Lincoln as he thought that Zoey looked nice enough so far.
"Yeah; nothing wrong with keeping this a friendly competition! We can still be friends no problem; no need to make it anything close to personal!" Lincoln said with Zoey and Dawn smiling.
Leni smiled as Lynn shook her head along with Lola; "Not going to get far with that attitude... Future me should have given you proper pointers on contests such as these..." Lola then told Lincoln who sighed. What was wrong with making friends there...
"Quite right!" DJ said having put his stuff away and Lincoln noticed Ezekiel making his way next to Lincoln.
"No need to get personal is right; Lincoln and I the new BFFF squad maybe on the other team than you 2 girls but we could all still be friends! Just don't take it personally when we beat you on every challenge!" Ezekiel said with a smile and Lincoln facepalmed as the nearby girls gave Ezekiel looks and mostly glares.
"I almost admire his misplaced confidence... Almost..." Lori then said as they were wide eyed at this.
"Ezekiel... How about I put my stuff away and then we can have a nice talk about watching what you say and how to actually talk to girls." Lincoln told him with a smile as he then heard Lindsay shout from within the Screaming Beavers cabin about a cockroach.
"His only hope of turning things around for him..." Luna said as Lola and Leni looked disgusted at the cockroach.
Lincoln went into the Killer Hamsters cabin to put his stuff away while there was Courtney complaining under her breath; Lincoln was taking it in amusement as she was muttering "what is it going to look like if I put on my college application that I was on a team called the Killer Hamsters?"
They laughed at that.
Lincoln when putting away his notebook had pages fall out and Gwen picked them up and handed them to it after taking a look; "Thanks... Like I said I fancy myself an artist myself..." Lincoln told her and she gave a small smile.
Lincoln smiled thinking that he must develop his hobby in the future; "Is this how you steal her heart..." Lori asked teasingly as Lincoln was once again red in the face as his sisters giggled.
"They are good and since we are going to to be on the same team anyway; we could hang out more... You are going to need all the help that you can get making sure that your homeschooled bestie doesn't get himself killed in his sleep." Gwen told him and Lincoln gave a laugh at this as Lincoln got out and there was Dawn smiling as she helped the cockroach within her cabin outside.
They nodded at Gwen's statement.
Tyler bragging that he could have done the same with Lindsay looking at him all dreamy eyed.
Rolls of the eyes at this.
In the main lodge the scary looking Chef Hatchet told him that he will serve them 3 times a day and they will eat it and to get their trays. Most of the customers looked disgusted but Lincoln getting the best looking food that he could see sat down at the Killer Hamsters table; "I have actually seen worse in what my sister Lana has to eat..." Lincoln said and spotted Zoey and Dawn sitting next to eachother with Dawn eating some vegetables on the menu and they smiled as they waved to him.
The food definitely looked disgusting but nothing compared to what Lana liked to try.
"Lincoln already has girls' interest; we could be the players on the Hamsters if you catch my drift!" Cody said coming closer to Lincoln and putting his arm around his shoulder.
Sighs at this.
"You a player? No offence aye; but I think you are trying too hard to be some sort of playboy..." Ezekiel told Cody and Lincoln and other Hamsters members snickered at Cody being told by Ezekiel and Cody didn't totally get the hint.
"Oh my... Did he literally get owned by the homeschooled loser..." Lori asked as they ended up laughing in amusement at that.
Chris was there to tell them that they had one hour before their first challenge.
"What do you think that they will make us do?" Zoey asked at the Screaming Beavers table.
"It's our first challenge; how hard could it be?" DJ asked with everyone having the same idea.
"Probably a 3 legged race since it's summer camp themed..." Lori said as they nodded.
"They only have 2 legs thought..." Leni pointed out confused as they sighed.
1 hour later the 16 contestants were terrified as they were overlooking a thousand feet high cliff with the camera zooming out to emphasize the size of it all and DJ's profanity was censored out.
They blinked open mouthed at that.
The contestants in their swimsuits were overlooking the cliff as Chris was there as he explained "your first challenge's half is to jump off this thousand foot cliff and into the lake! If you look down you will see two target areas; the wider area represents the part of the lake stocked with sharks and inside the area is a safe zone your target area which we are pretty sure is shark free but you never know!"
"Wow Chris... Really funny joke... Seriously what is the challenge..." laughed Luan weakly as Lincoln was suddenly terrified.
"This is the first thing that they make you do..." Luna asked weakly.
They looked down and saw how small that their target area was compared to the wider area and spotted the sharks there. "Look McLean; Lightning has sponsors and talent scouts coming to my sports games back home with full scholarships offered! Being mauled to death by sharks is going to hurt Lightning's career and make those offers dry up!" Lightning ranted looking like he wanted to pummel Chris on the spot.
"This is very high up..." Lincoln muttered underneath his breath gulping and taking a step back from looking down at the top of the cliff.
This only made them feel worse as they hugged closely to Lincoln; Lily holding the hardest.
"This... I didn't sign up for this!" Heather complained as Chris smugly brought out a copy of the contract and tossed her.
"You did actually; fine print contains a waiver's agreement." Chris informed her as Heather looked at the contract. "Anyway; for each member of your team and actually survives you get a crate that will help you for the second half of your challenge! Killer Hamsters; you're up first!" Chris then finished explained much to the eyes widening of the Killer Hamsters and silently asking if he was serious.
They groaned at Lincoln's team up first.
"First he gives us the label of 'hamsters' and then he makes us do this suicide dive first? This is no way to treat us! Especially not a certified CIT!" fumed Courtney with her arms folded in the confessional.
They wondered what CIT was.
"Come on everyone; I hear they make the interns do these tasks first to make sure that they are survivable!" Owen tried to reassure his team who gulped and were nervous about going first; Chris silently snickered thinking about when he had Chef Hatchet try out this dive first since all of the interns were in hospital. This didn't set well with the Killer Hamsters.
"Good point..." Lori said but the laugh stopped any easing of tension that may have happened.
Footage of Chris forcing Chef Hatchet to jump off the cliff with the sound of him in pain at the end with Chris saying that looked safe enough for him.
They were now speechless at this.
"Come on everyone; it doesn't look so bad... It will be over before you know it!" Lincoln said trying to put on a brave face even though he was terrified out of his mind.
"You practically volunteered yourself to go first..." Lori snapped as they all gave him a look and Lincoln wondered what his future self was thinking; trying to be confident and brave or not.
Holding his breath he then went and ran and jumped doing a cannonball thinking that if this doesn't kill him then his family probably will when he gets home. The Killer Hamsters watched as he made it into the safe zone and cheered as he was pulled into the boat nearby with Chef Hatchet manning it.
They took sighs of relief and began clapping for Lincoln.
"I am not going to lie; I thought for sure that the first one doing the jump was a goner for sure but Lincoln pulled it off." Gwen said with her arms folded smiling looking quite impressed.
"Beginning of crush..." Leni teased as there were more giggled while Lincoln just sighed. Lucy was thinking that she hoped that Lincoln ended up with Gwen.
Ezekiel then ran and jumped off the cliff looking quite assured; he ended up hitting a stalactite off the cliff on the way down but still ended up landing in the safe zone. "Way to go Ezekiel; I am pretty sure we lost most of our braincells but we have done it!" Lincoln managed to shout excitedly as he helped Ezekiel into the boat.
"I can imagine you would be acting like that if you managed to survive that..." muttered Luna and they nodded and cringed at Ezekiel hitting the stalactite.
Courtney went up and looked down; "excuse me Chris I have a medical condition that makes me not jump off tall cliffs. I can't do it!" Courtney told Chris with the remaining Killer Hamsters giving her looks but she looked steadfast.
They couldn't blame her.
"Okay but if you don't jump then you have to put on this chicken hat for the rest of the day and then take the chicken way down!" Chris informed her placing a chicken hat much to the irritation of her teammates and pointed to the stairway down. Courtney looked their way and cringed as she touched the hat but then made her way to the chicken exit with sighs from the remaining Killer Hamsters.
Leni cringed at the chicken hat; "You have a chicken on your team Stinkcoln..." Lynn told Lincoln.
"Nice going you chicken!" Gwen snarked as Courtney passed her and Courtney glared at her way.
"If you are so brave then go next!" Courtney retorted passing her by and going onto the stairway.
"She walked herself into that..." Luan then said as they nodded amused.
"Fine I will!" Gwen shouted back and realised what she had said and gulped when she looked down and noticed Lincoln and Ezekiel on the boat and while she couldn't make them both out, it looked like they were trying to encourage whoever was up next. "Okay... I won't let myself live it down if Homeschool is braver than I am..." Gwen muttered as she screamed jumping down and made it to the safe zone with Cody following not too far behind her.
"That would be humiliating..." Luan then said as they held their breaths and clapped for Gwen as she made it.
"Let's do this together Sadie!" Katie said coming over holding hands with Katie.
"Right here with you Katie!" Sadie said as holding hands they jumped off together and made it to the safe zone.
Finally there was Owen who gulped and then ran and jumped down yelling as he made his way down and made a big splash that scared the sharks and ended up wrecking the nearby boat.
They blinked and were worried about Lincoln there.
"He can sure make a big splash..." Luan then said.
Lincoln groaned as he felt like he had been hit by a massive tidal wave as he got himself up and then was embraced by Ezekiel; "We are both alive! We survived!" Ezekiel cheered as they noticed Owen there in the safe zone and went to check on the other Killer Hamsters and they seemed okay as they got up and checked on themselves. "Why don't you warm yourself up with this jacket that I found..." Ezekiel said about to pass Lincoln what appeared to be an orange jacket.
"Thanks Ezekiel; you have a long way to go but baby steps and I am sure... Gwen?" Lincoln said gratefully as Gwen ran to them and snatched the orange jacket away from them. Gwen then pointed to Owen in the water.
"Guys... I can't find my bathing suit..." Owen admitted with embarassment as Lincoln and Ezekiel with faces frozen slowly took a closer look at the orange 'jacket' with their faces turning to disgust along with the others...
They were silently watching mouths wide open and looked disgusted at that.
Back on top of the cliff Chris checked his clipboard and told the Screaming Beavers "good news Beavers; if all of you jump in order to beat the Hamsters then you get pull carts to pull your supplies. Bad news: the boat is a bust so you will have to swim to the beach and avoid the sharks!" Much groans at this as they looked at eachother.
"Better hope that this team is full of yellow bellied cowards..." Lynn then said fingers crossed with some nodding.
"Stand back loser because Lightning will win this!" Lightning shouted as he ran and jumped off the cliff without fear on his mind (any concerns melted away after he saw the other team pull it off just fine), landing in the safe zone and then swam right to the beach as if it was nothing.
They ended up being impressed by that; "Your team may be at a disadvantage in this show competing against him..." Lynn then told Lincoln and he knew that she was right.
"I don't know about this..." Zoey gulped coming up looking quite scared but then there was Dawn appearing before her.
"I sense the fear in your aura but if it helps then we can jump together like Katie and Sadie!" Dawn offered and Zoey looked at her gratefully as they held hands and jumped right down with Zoey screaming and Dawn not really affected.
"Wow Dawn is so nice..." smiled Leni becoming a fan of her and they could tell that she was right; Lincoln thought that Dawn looked cute and thought that something was familiar about her...
They landed in the water together with Zoey relieved but screaming and held onto Dawn as they saw the sharks coming near them. "Hello my finned friends; could you spare us a ride to the beach please?" Dawn asked the shark and Zoey stopped screaming long enough to notice the sharks stopping and smiling at them?
"Did she talk to the sharks?" Lana asked impressed as they just stared speechless.
"Preposterous..." Lisa muttered out.
Dawn went onto a shark to ride the fin and helped Zoey up to ride another one as they went up to the beach much to the wide open mouths of their teammates and the Killer Hamsters.
They just stared at that scene and Lincoln thought that it looked cool and so did Lana.
"We are seeing that right? This is not like a delayed reaction to the food that I had on the plane getting here?" Lincoln asked looking around and saw them all slowly nod at once. "That... Is so cool! My sister Lana and Sam the girlfriend of another sister Luna are really into animals but I never saw anything like that! Wow if Dawn was in Jaws then it would have been an entirely different movie!" Lincoln muttered in awe.
They smiled at that; "Wait... Sam and I are still together in five years?" Luna asked excitedly as they looked happy for her.
"I wonder if Bobby and I are at least engaged at that point..." Lori asked excitedly and hopefully.
"I can do the Jaws theme with my armpits; do you want to hear?" Owen asked having gotten his bathing suit back before coming out of the water and was in position to start but the answer was a resounding 'no'.
"Aw... That would have been so cool..." Lana complained but the others stared at her and shook her head.
"No; it would not have..." retorted Lola arms folded.
DJ looked down the cliff and shook his head; "I can't do it! I have been scared of heights since I was a kid..." DJ ended up saying turning back as Chris put the chicken hat on his head and pointed to the stairway.
They understood his fear; "One more chicken and Lincoln's team wins this..." Lynn then said as they continued watching.
"Are you sure?" Chris asked making a chicken impression as DJ sighed and walked to the stairway much to the disapproval of his remaining teammates.
Tyler jumped down looking impressive but ended up hitting on a bit of equipment attached to the ring around the safe zone and just barely swam to the beach avoiding the sharks.
Then there was Justin swimming down and landing in the water; the sharks mesmerised by his looks and let him swim past.
Lincoln shook his head while the girls swooned.
Chris looked to Heather and Lindsay who were the final 2; "Heather, Lindsay... If you both jump then your team gets the pull carts! If one jumps but the other doesn't then no pull carts for any team but if you both chicken out then the Hamsters gets the pull carts!" Chris informed them as Heather shook her head and folded her arms.
They waited for the outcome to this.
"I am on live TV; I can't be seen with wet hair!" Heather huffed and Lindsay did the same.
"I can understand that..." Leni admitted groaning at the idea.
"If she's not jumping then not me!" Lindsay stated as Heather smiled at her and then Lindsay gulped as Chris took out the 2 chicken hats. Heather cringed at it but went steadfast as she went to the stairway with Lindsay reluctantly following causing Chris to put the chicken hats on them much to Lindsay's horror.
"Killer Hamsters has only 1 chicken to Beavers' 3 so the Killer Hamsters get pull carts that they get to pull their supplies for the hot tub making competition! Winners gets to keep their's while the losers will be voting to send one of their own home!" Chris yelled out to the cheers of the Killer Hamsters and groans of the Screaming Beavers.
They ended up cheering at this; "A good start for your team Lincoln!" Lynn grinned and Lincoln smiled at this.
The campers were fully dressed moving their crates with the Killer Hamsters having a much easier time pulling their crates with them and even have a sing song while the Screaming Beavers were struggling to move their crates by hand. DJ and Lightning were able to carry them the best but Lightning was visibly furious.
"Uh a splinter..." groaned Heather with her chicken hat as she did the bare minimum in trying to push her crate.
"Boo hoo; get to carrying your crate and make something of yourself!" snapped Lightning as Heather glared at Lightning.
"He is clearly not happy..." Lynn then said.
"Would you be in his position?" Lola asked and that shut Lynn up.
"What is your deal jock boy?" Heather demanded as Lightning then stormed towards Heather to get in her face.
"Lightning's deal is that by some bad luck; Lightning got put on the team that had 3 CHICKENs ON IT WHILE THE OTHER ONLY HAD 1! HOMESCHOOL JUMPED AND YOU 2 DIDN'T! AT LEAST HE IS PULLING HIS WEIGHT!" Lightning snapped point got DJ carrying his crate with no problem.
"Come on everyone; we need to work together... We can't be at each other's throats!" Zoey said concerned trying to pull them apart while leaving her crate with Dawn helping as Lindsay stepped back not wanting to get involved.
"Good luck there Zoey..." Lincoln said as they didn't fancy her chances at her team not getting into eachother's throats; mainly those two.
"All this arguing won't help anyone and your auras are quite concerning... Lightning; you're over competitive streak hoping that you won't disappoint your father could do well to be toned down a bit." Dawn told Lightning who blinked and looked defensive. Heather snickered behind her hand at this as Dawn said "Heather; there is a dark cloud within your aura and it's quite scary..."
They blinked at what Dawn said of his father; "Did he mention a dad before the show?" Luan asked as they shook their heads.
"Did he read his mind?" Lucy asked as Lisa scoffed at the mere idea.
"Who asked you and your false magic mumble jumbo..." Heather snorted pushing Dawn back into her crate with a force that snapped it open and Zoey gasped as she helped Dawn pick up the stuff inside and put it on top of Zoey's own crate so they could push together.
Their eyes were widening as Leni glared at Heather for trying Dawn like that.
Heather sighed as she got Lindsay to start pushing both of their own crates.
"The too good to be among commoners and getting other people to do her work for her... I know that types..." Lori muttered to herself as they glared at her.
"I hope she gets voted off soon... I don't want to imagine future me stuck with her... Other team or not..." Lincoln whispered.
The Killer Hamsters made it to the camp grounds first and were made by Chris to open their crates with their teeth and looked to the building material inside. "You know... I think I know where to start as like I said before; my Gramps runs this summer camp himself and my sisters and I helped out when he needed it!" Lincoln said putting his hand to his chin.
They blinked confused; "I don't remember Gramps running a camp... Does he do that later in the future?" Luan asked as they just shrugged their shoulders.
"My old man is a bit of a master of DIY and he has shown me his skills, I could have an idea as well." Ezekiel said standing next to Lincoln and looked on in awe as Lincoln gave him a fist bump motion.
"Wow... So he isn't totally useless then..." Lori then said surprised.
"Still a sexist pig though..." Lola muttered with the sisters nodding.
"My first fist bump! This is the best day of my life!" Ezekiel screamed with tears of joy as he returned it.
Lincoln wondered if Ezekiel was just sheltered by his parents and needed friends after spending his time homeschooled.
"Thanks for offering but I think we could do with a real project manager; someone with real CIT experience!" Courtney said facing the other campers with a smirk as Gwen scoffed.
"You are thinking it is you Ms Chicken Head?" Gwen asked rhetorically as Courtney scowled in response.
"Uh look; they seem to be knowing what they are doing..." Sadie pointed out pointing to Lincoln and Ezekiel who seemed to be starting without them as they turned to see Courtney.
They smiled looking impressed at their work.
"I think I am still project manager and a good project manager recognises the team's strengths so I say we follow their lead!" Courtney said matter of factly as they 8 Killer Hamsters went to work putting their hot tub together as the Screaming Beavers arrived and did their best to quickly open up their crates.
They snickered at Courtney's attempt to turn it around and still look like that she is in charge.
"I don't see a motor or a hammer anywhere..." DJ commented as they pulled their supplies together.
"I wonder if those would have been in your crate or would it have been in either of their crates?" Lightning remarked looking towards Heather and Lindsay with a glare.
They found their disadvantage amusing.
"Look Lightning; I am sorry for not jumping and my uncalled for comments earlier. Let's do our best and make up for the head start that the Hamsters have?" Heather asked putting on a smile shocking most of her teammates.
They blinked at Heather's apology; a sudden turn of events.
"Way to go Heather!" cheered Zoey patting Heather on the back as Dawn looked sceptical reading her aura.
"Making peace with the jock wasn't easy to go through with but in competitions like these you have to keep your friends close and your enemies closer!" Heather remarked with his arms folded looking sneaky in the confessional.
They became glaring at her; "Definitely the manipulator one to watch..." Lori then stated.
When the teams were done Chris looked to their hot tubs with the Killer Hamsters' looking good while the Screaming Beavers looked like it was barely holding on and had planks broken as well thanks to Heather pushing Dawn into her crate with duct tape pulling it together before it broke while a bird was swimming in it but Dawn noticing it went and took off the bit of cans plastic around it's neck.
"Definitely a win..." Lynn then said.
"Careless littering but you are safe now little guy!" Dawn smiled at the bird as it flew away as the others stared at her but Dawn stepped back as their hot tub burst open.
They looked at Dawn's tenderness with the animals and definitely found it cute; "You better choose her Lincoln..." Lana whispered to Lincoln with Leni nodding before they snickered at the tub bursting open. Lincoln was red in the face at the hinted love triangle being brought up again.
"Killer Hamsters you are safe from elimination and you get to rock this awesome hot tub for the rest of the Summer!" Chris announced with the Killer Hamsters cheered much to the dejected Screaming Beavers. "Sucks to be the Screaming Beavers as tonight you are at the bonfire vote some off!" Chris announced to the Screaming Beavers.
They then cheered with Lincoln grinning to himself and even got up to do his little victory dance.
"Lightning lost... TO HAMSTERS!" Lightning told himself looking down at the ground.
They found his reaction amusing.
"You girls; you 4 did good you know for girls... I mean us guys were doing most of the work but you didn't..." Ezekiel shout out to Courtney, Gwen, Sadie and Katie as Lincoln went and covered his mouth to not bury himself even deeper than he already was and give out a sheepish smile with the 4 glaring at him harshly.
"Was that an apology..." muttered Luan as they stared.
"You know what Homeschool... This doesn't make up for everything but you showed your stuff so I will make an attempt to forget things you said on the boat ride here!" Courtney told Ezekiel as she walked off with Gwen shaking her head.
"Lincoln definitely has his work cut out for him... Will... Uh; this time travel streaming thing is confusing..." Lana said as Lincoln stared thinking that his future self did; still if Ezekiel turned out to be better than he first appeared then he could turn his sexist attitude around.
"Good thing that you have Lincoln looking out for you; I can see you being the first one off if we lost today!" Gwen said patting Ezekiel on the back. "Good job to the both of you though." he told them as she walk off.
They laughed at Gwen's comment and looked at her compliment.
"I think she is warming up to me; good thing that I don't think we will be as divided as the Beavers look to be right now." Lincoln said with a sigh of relief in the confessional.
"Right there bro but she will be doing more than warming up to you..." teased Luna as Lincoln groaned into his hands at the looks he was getting.
In the lodge; both teams were eating their meals as best as they could digest as the Screaming Beavers looked uncomfortable at eachother. "What do we do now?" Zoey asked breaking the silence.
"Decide on who is leaving and I see only 3 wearing chicken hats and big guy DJ could come on handy with his strength." Lightning brought up pointing to DJ with a relieved look on his face and then to Lindsay and Heather with Heather glaring at him.
"sound strategy..." Lynn nodded.
"Please do kick her out..." Leni pleaded to Heather.
"You know if one of us should go then I volunteer myself as I chose to follow Heather and we would have at least tied with the Hamsters to give us a better shot." Lindsay sighed as Heather looked relieved. "I am sorry for letting you all down and especially you Heather as I wished that I could have had more time to get to know you. It was a blast taking in the sun with you on the ship." Lindsay told Heather who gave a humble look on her face.
They groaned at Lindsay being too nice for her own good; "She lives to scheme another day..." muttered Lana.
Zoey wanted to speak up in defence for Lindsay as Heather said "it's nothing really Lindsay and I enjoyed myself with you as well..."
"Yes; relaxing and you talking about the losers you saw on the boat... What was it you said? The two jocks with more muscles on their bodies than braincells? The empty headed pretty boy, the weird yoga girl doing yoga that should just fall off into the water and the redheaded girl that should be easy to play like a fiddle with how desperate she seems to be for friends?" Lindsay said looking like she didn't realise what she was doing as Heather was taken aback as the teammates were shocked and turned to glare at Heather.
They blinked at what Lindsay was saying; "Does she seriously not realise how that sounds? She really is dumb..." Lynn muttered.
"What are you doing Lindsay? Be quiet!" Heather whispered into Lindsay's ear.
"What? I didn't even bring up how you DJ seems like just another muscle or how you can use Lightning to win the challenges until it was safe to have him voted off?" Lindsay said out loud as Heather was frustrated.
"You stupid idiotic blonde? Can't you keep something to yourself?" snapped Heather out loud and then covered her mouth as she realised all the glares she was getting and the murderous look from Lightning.
They blinked and ended up grinning.
"I think I know who is going home first..." Courtney told her teammates as they started snickering.
They were hopeful as well.
At the campfire pit at night the Screaming Beavers sat down on the stumps as Chris was there to meet them. "Screaming Beavers; you lost the first challenge and one of your own has been voted off to board the Dock of Shame and the Boat of Losers and they can't ever come back later. When I call your name then your safe and you get a marshmallow." Chris said and then started calling out and tossing marshmallows to a relieved Zoey, Lightning, Dawn, Tyler, Justin and DJ.
"Fits the summer camp theme..." Lori said as they stared hoping.
"Lindsay. Heather. You both didn't jump and one of you is leaving." Chris said and Lindsay looked tense and worried while Heather had her fingers crossed.
"The Marshmallow goes to... Lindsay!" Chris said tossing the marshmallow to Lindsay as Heather was open mouthed and started glaring.
They started cheering relieved; "An easier time for you Lincoln... Still I expected her to worm her way to lasting longer..." Luan said as that was a surprising turn of events.
"what? No! I won't accept this! Do you hear me? You are all hearing from my lawyers! My parents are champions at the local country club! You Beavers are so dead!" ranted Heather and actually had to be dragged to the Dock of Shame by Chef Hatchet by the arm.
They laughed at her tantrum.
In the confessional Zoey was breathing a sigh of relief and smiled at the camera; "us losing the first challenge should be a blessing in disguise since it meant that we got to vote off Heather! Without her here causing drama; it should be much easier for our team to be one big group of friends and turn this into a healthy friendly competition!"
They smiled at that.
"Won't be as fun to watch though..." Lola muttered to herself.
At the cabins the Killer Hamsters were having a victory party with Lincoln, Cody, Courtney and Gwen in the hot tub while the rest were outside dancing and Cody had them do a toast. "Would you believe when I was a kid it was hard to enjoy the water like this... My family kept being banned from pools before I could even get in!" Lincoln said as he noticed Zoey and Dawn standing by smiling and waving.
Lincoln stared at his sister who looked sheepish at this.
"You ladies up to talk to the Codmeister?" Cody asked with a flirty look as Courtney pushed his head underwater.
They laughed at this.
"We just wanted to congratulate you for winning the first challenge and hope you enjoy yourselves with the hot tub. It's one big friendly competition, right?" Zoey asked with Dawn nodding.
"Off course; no reason why we can't still be friends who just happen to be on opposite teams. Not much different than playing video games against my friends back at home." Lincoln said assuringly going to put his arm up to shake on it but ended up accidentally splashing the two girls with them giving him a look as the others left the frightened Lincoln in the hot tub.
"Nice going Lincoln..." Lynn muttered sarcastically as they stared and Lincoln gulped.
The two girls then began giggling as they looked at eachother wet in their clothes and put their hands in to splash Lincoln as he began laughing with them.
They ended up looking amused at this and found this cute; Lincoln thought that it looked like he definitely will have friends in this show.
"Cute but Lincoln had better not let this jeopardise our chances at winning." Courtney commented with her arms folded.
"This place still stinks I think but I am here so I might as well try to win. Besides Lincoln and those 2 party crashers are making this party more fun." Gwen commented.
"Please get with Gwen..." Lucy thought looking at her brother.
Lightning when he came to the cabins area shook his head and put on a competitive face and then was followed by Lindsay who flashed them a smile with a wave.
Lindsay sighed as she looked down at the confessional; "Oh Heather; I am going to miss you... Shame that were careless enough to share so much thoughts with me and it was so easy to turn everyone against you..." Lindsay commented and started smiling as she kept as she looked to the camera.
They blinked and stared at this.
"With everyone thinking the big drama queen diva is gone; they don't have to worry about any unfortunate drama... They won't be exactly looking to sweet clueless brainless beauty Lindsay to be looking to see how she can manipulate events to her liking." Lindsay said as her smile slowly turned into a smirk...
They stared silently for what seemed like minutes. "So she was pretending to be a dumb blonde..." Leni asked as they slowly nodded.
"Well there definitely still is a manipulator to watch out for... Under the radar..." Lisa muttered as the parents came through the door.
"We both got off work early... Are you watching something from your new TV thing Lisa?" Lynn Sr asked as they came closer.
"Parental units found me and I explained what I was working on... Male parental unit gave me permission when I suggested we could get future lottery numbers.." Lisa then said.
"Mum, dad... Get this... We are watching this future reality show and it's the first episode... A Summer camp island in Canada and Lincoln is actually on it... Seems that he won the sole spot for an American..." Luan told them as they were surprised and excited.
"Really... Can we watch this with you..." Lynn Sr then asked as they moved to give them room to sit down.
"This is amazing... You haven't met someone from Canada in years Lincoln..." Rita then said as the twins and Lisa looked confused. "Lola, Lana... You would have been too young to remember but we took a road trip years ago and Lincoln met a girl whose family was from Canada." Rita explained as Lori had her head down.
"Lori got into super trouble... Lincoln got lost on a hike when she was supposed to be watching over him and the girl helped him out..." Luan explained to the younger Louds.
"I will definitely never forget that trip..." Lincoln said as Lisa played the next episode. "Especially for 1 reason that they will never find out about..." Lincoln thought thinking of his first kiss.
