Chapter 1
Authors Note: This story takes place in the Futanari Lucy universe written by Snakebit1995 I recommend you check that story out but it is an 18+ story
Arcadias POV
I yawn as I follow behind Lucy, the Celestial wizard who I have a contract with.
"We're almost to Hargeon aren't we Lucy?" I asked, my silver armor clanking. Glad I added the leather to the wing holes to stop the chafing.
Lucy nods "Yeah, not too far Arcadia , why are you so eager to get there?" She inquires.
I stay quiet for a moment.
"I need to investigate something related to my past" I respond
Lucy looks back at me as she walks
"Anything I can do to help?" Lucy asks "You haven't told me much about your past and I'd like to get to know you better"
I take a deep breath.
"Lucy to know about my past would put you in grave danger I've told you this" I say
Lucy groans and puts her arms behind her head and lets out a frustrated sigh.
"I could just open your gate and force you to tell me" She jokes with a smirk on her face.
I laugh "You know that doesn't work on me and you know it."
She turns around to look at me and pouts and then she sighs "I hope one day you trust me enough to tell me"
"Yeah... I hope so too" I whisper to myself looking up at the sky. Not realizing where I am walking when I hit someone and we both fall onto the ground.
"Ow watch where you're going dickhead!" the person i ran into yelled '
I stand and face the woman and realize who I ran into.
In front of me is a woman with beautiful features, her hair half black and half white tied into a ponytail, wearing simple black leather pants and black shirt with a white corset with her black leather coat in her hand. Attached to her belt is a keyring with twelve silver keys, and two gold keys.
"Arcadia?" The woman asks
"Ummm Arcadia, how does she know you?" Lucy asks
"It's been seven years but you haven't aged a day Arcadia" the woman laughs and we help each other up.
"Lucy meet Sarah Majeski, Mythic Celestial Wizard, Sarah meet Lucy Heartfilia my celestial wizard"
Sarah holds out her hand and Lucy shakes her hand.
"Nice to meet you Sarah" Lucy smirks at me "Maybe you'll tell me about Arcadias past since she won't"
Sarah laughs "If she hasn't told you about her past then I'm not gonna either" Sarah sasses.
"OH COME ON!" Lucy frustratedly yells.
Sarah then shoots me a, we need to talk look which caused me to gulp
As long as i've known sarah she's scared me
"A celestial wizard huh? It's nice to finally meet another one" Lucy says
"Yeah, likewise... So I take it Arcadia gave you her key?" Sarah Asks lucy
"Yeah she did" She holds up a pure silver key with two silver wings on it "The gate of the Silver phoenix"
"Oh you'll give her your key but not me?" Sarah whines to me .
"Oh shut up" i say annoyed
Sarah laughs "Any ways… I was heading to a magic shop in town. Wanna tag along?" She asks Lucy
"Sure i'll join you" Lucy says
I then Grumble about it but I tag along.
When we reach the shop I hang out outside while Lucy and Sarah look around.
I hear them arguing with the shopkeeper about prices when a shadow passes over me and gives me the chills.
"What the..." I say looking around "That felt like... No it can't be her"
After i say that Sarah and Lucy walk out of the shop Lucy happily looking at her new silver celestial key
"Thank you so much Sarah!" She says
"Anytime for a fellow Celestial Wizard.. Is there something wrong Arcadia?' Sarah says looking at me
I stay quiet for a moment then I shake my head.
"No just some... bad memories... Where to now?" I say
"Let's head into town and see about finding a place to eat i'm hungry" Lucy complains
My stomach growls in agreement.
"Yeah lets go" I say "Care to join us Sarah?"
Sarah nods and we begin walking deeper into the town when we hear a commotion and some girls run past.
"Are you serious he's really here?" One exclaimed
"It's Salamander!" another says
"Salamander?" Sarah asks
Lucy suddenly looks incredibly happy
"Salamander is a wizard who uses incredibly powerful fire magic you can't even buy in stores!" She yells happily "But i wonder what he's doing in this dead-end town"
Lucy then runs off after the girls and ends up in a crowd of girls happily fangirling at a tall man with blue hair. But something seemed off as I approached him and when I realized what it was I spun around and slammed my fist into Sarah's face.
'OW WHAT THE FUCK ARCADIA!' She yells holding her nose
"Sorry Sarah couldn't take the chance, you like both women and men" I said
Sarah looks confused "What the?"
"He's using a love charm i had to prevent you from concentrating on him so you wouldn't fall under its effects" i explain
She checks her nose and verifies it is not bleeding.
"You didn't have to hit me that hard" She says
I shrug "Just think of it as revenge for that broken mirror incident"
There's a commotion in the crowd in front of the man and I see a pink haired male being attacked by multiple female members of the crowd. I also noticed Lucy had broken free of the charm by herself.
Is that... He's grown a lot since I last saw him, then again that was six years ago.
The blue haired man then tries to hand the pink haired man his autograph but when he refuses the crowd of girls tosses him into a pile of trash
I sigh "Just like Natsu to get himself into trouble" I whisper to myself crossing my arms and watch as Lucy, who had broken free from the charm introduces herself to him.
A little bit later we're all sitting in a restaurant, Lucy and Natsu were in one booth, sarah and I were at another booth, Sarah had a burger in front of ehr and i had a piece of apple pie, i had switch from my armor to my casual clothes, A shiny silver bikini top, silver leather jacket and silver leather pants with silver boots.
I take a bite of my pie. "As much as i like to see you Sarah i have to wonder, what is the guild master of the Phoenixes Hand guild doing in a town like this? So far away from her guild"
Sarah gets a dark look on her face.
"What, can't I come see my old friend?" She asks
I give her a don't bullshit me look with my fork in my mouth.
She then sighs and pushes her plate to her side "Alright i'm here because during a job here last week Lumina detected traces of Nightmares powers"
I stare at her and hear a clink as I inadvertently snap my fork in half catching a waiter's attention.
"Hey!" The server yells
I then toss some coins on the table causing the waiter to walk away.
"How the fuck is her power here we sealed her away" i say keeping my voice down
Sarah nods "I know and as far as we're aware she still sealed away"
I let out a soft growl.
"We nearly sacrificed everything to seal her away... many of us did" I say
Flashback
Arcadias POV
7 years ago
I groan as I stand up, small pieces of stone falling off me as I look up at the battle, the seven phoenixes locked in battle with the Nightmare but it's a hopeless battle, we're losing as my Celestial wizard runs up, battered and bruised.
"Arcadia we have to open your gate!" She yells over the sound of battle, she currently has two spirits out and they're holding the line.
"No! Nnngh fuck" I say holding the wound in my side "If you open my primary gate in addition to their gates it will kill you!"
"We don't have a choice if i don't do it we're all dead her spell is almost charged up
I ball my fists "Gods damn it... do it"
I then launch myself up towards the battle as I hear the words.
'Open gate of the..." She's interrupted by the sound of battle "...Phoenix... Arcadia!"
I then feel my full power run through me as i strike the Nightmare
Present Day
Arcadias POV
"Arcadia!" Sarah says snapping me out of the flashback
I look up her "Yeah I'm here sorry"
Sarah gets a concerned look on her face
"You had a flashback to the battle didn't you?" She ask
I nod "Specifically the point that sealed her fate"
Sarah looks past me to the booth with Lucy and I nod.
"So that's why she has your key because of the promise you made to..." Sarah start to say
"Shut up i don't want her to know" I snap
Sarah nods "she won't hear it from me"
I look down at my pie and I get sad realizing I had destroyed my fork.
"Gods damn it this was a good pie" I mope
Sarah tosses me her unused fork.
"You and your apple pie a long as i've known you, you'd trade almost anything for an apple pie" Sarah Teases
"Hush apple pie is one the best creations the gods have ever come up with" I say happily eating more of my pie
Sarah laughs softly "So I noticed how Lucy carries herself is she... like you... Down below?"
I hesitate before taking another bite of pie.
"I don't see that as any of your business" I respond
"That would be a yes" Sarah chuckles
I glare at Sarah as I finish my pie and push my plate away
"So are you gonna join me in hunting this aspect of Nightmare?" Sarah asks
I nod "yes i will if for nothing else than making sure the memories of all those who lost their lives that day aren't disgraced but first i need to discuss it with my key holder"
Sarah nods "Don't take too long we cant let this aspect get back to her"
I stand and toss some money on the table.
"I won't be long" I say as i walk over to the booth with Lucy
By this point Natsu had left and Lucy was about to pay when I slid into her booth.
"Oh hey Arcadia, how was the talk with your friend? Are you ready to go?" She asks
"About that Lucy can we stay here for a day or two i need to help Sarah with something" I say tapping my fingers on the table
"Is it related to the stuff about your past that you mentioned?" Lucy asks
I nod
"Judging from your look it's something serious... okay one day that's it"
I nod "Thank you Lucy" I stand up and walk over to Sarah who had finished her burger.
"Ready to get started?" Sarah asks
I nod "Lets go"
Sarah walks out and I follow.
We then proceed to search the town for any signs of Nightmare but we come up empty so we decide to grab a drink at an outside bar.
"Gods damn it i was so sure she was here" Sarah says
I grip my beer tightly.
"Hey relax we'll find her and defeat her again i refuse to let her sacrifice in vain just like you" Sarah says
I nod and look up at the setting sun when i see something approaching fast.
"SARAH GET DOWN!" I yell before reaching over the table and pulling sarah to the ground as i hear a male voice shout
"SHADOW PHOENIX BLAST!"
A blast of shadow magic obliterates the table we were at.
Sarah looks at me on the ground "Thanks!" She says before she rolls onto her feet and grabs a key off her belt.
"Open gate of the ultimate Warrior... Achilles!" Sarah yells
Ding Dong
A muscular man in traditional Hellenic armor appears with a sword and shield and blocks another blast from the enemy.
I roll to my knees.
"Silver Phoenix Razor Wings!" I yell and after I do I feel my wings gardening into metal and I flex them forward launching six razor sharp metal feathers at our attacker.
"Shadow Phoenix Wing Blast!" The attacker yells, the Wings made of shadows on his back give a hard flap and launch a wave of shadow at the Razor feathers knocking them out of the air and forcing me to roll to the side.
The armored man Sarah summoned disappeared and she pulled out another key.
"Open gates of the twin archers Artemis and Apollo!" She yells.
Ding Dong
Two people appear, a female in moon silver clothes with moon silver hair holding a bow, the other weaning sun orange clothes with fiery hair holding a bow.
"We're here to serve you maiden Majeski" The female says
"Hey, as long as you go out with me I'll do whatever you say!" The male says
"Shut up Apollo, now fire at my attacker!" Sarah yells
The two archers draw back their bow.
"Lunar Shot!" The female yells
"Solar Shot!" Apollo yells
They release their arrows and two streaks of light, one lunar silver, one fire orange launch towards the attacker.
"Shadow Phoenix Blast" Our attacker lets loose a blast of shadow which obliterates the arrows and explodes the ground under Sarah and the twin Sarah lands and i hear an audible crunch as Sarah lands on her left arm wrong and rolls several feet the two spirits she summoned disappearing in a flash.
"Sarah!" I yell rushing over to her
I roll her over and find out she's knocked out cold and I growl and look up at our attacker.
"It's just You and me now! Silver Phoenix!" He yells
I hold my hands at my side and growl at him
"Be careful what you wish for!" I yell at him as two silver Katanas appear in my hands.
I then launch myself up towards him as a black scythe appears in his hands.
"Come to your death phoenix" He yells preparing to swing the scythe.
We both swing at the same time and our weapons clash sending out a massive shockwave that extends around us several hundred feet leveling a few buildings and knocking us both back.
He laughs as he stares at me down
"as formidable as ever Silver Phoenix or would you prefer your other name... the phoenix of..." He says before I charge at him in the air again.
He parries my attack, laughing insanely.
"What you don't like your actual title!?"
"I'm not that person anymore!" I yell continuing to attack
"You can't separate from who you truly are.. Maybe that's why SHE died!" He yells while laughing
I scream in rage and use all my strength to swing at him, and this time when he intercepts the attack he's launched back and slams into the ground, going through several buildings before stopping.
I land in front of him and approach him slowly as he laughs and slowly stands in the rubble.
"Touched a nerve?" He asks, raising his scythe.
"Silver Phoenix blast" I say and a blast of silver energy blasts the scythe out of his hand
One of my Katanas disappears and I grab him by the shirt with my free hand and push him against the wall pressing the tip of my other one against his throat.
"Arcadia wait!" Sarah yells running up behind me, her arm in a makeshift sling.
"Give me one good reason" I say through my teeth
"It's clear he's not Nightmare maybe he can tell us how he got these powers" She says
I look at the man in my hand
"Talk and you may live" I demand
He then starts laughing again but this time slowly the laughter transitions from male to female.
"Ahh Arcadia, Master Majeski, always a step behind," HE says but the voice coming out of his mouth is female.
"This isn't a real person.. It's a shadow Specter!" I growl
"Ding ding ding! Arcadia gets a prize!"
"How'd your power escape?" Sarah asks
"Ohh dear guild master, the bonds of the seal are breaking and soon... i shall be free"
I shove my blade into the throat of the specter.
"Never.. I will never let you be free" I say as the body of the specter explodes into shadows leaving behind a lingering laugh.
"We need to check her seal" Sarah says
"Ill join you after i get my keyholder to fairy tail and make sure she's settled i" I say nodding as my other Katana disappears and then I'm hit with a wave of exhaustion and nausea and i collapse to my knees.
"You pushed yourself too hard without your gate open" Sarah says
"No shit" I say standing up shakily
I look around at all the destruction we caused.
"Wow we kind of destroyed this town" I said
"Oh this wasn't all us after i woke up i learned that two fire wizards were fighting after a large wave washed a ship ashore" Sarah says
"A large wave..." I groan "Aquarius"
I then spread my wings and gave Sarah a glance and she nods.
"Yeah yeah i'll deal with the fallout go find your key holder" She says waving me off
I take off and fly around til i see Lucy and land next to her, stumbling as i do and i look at the destruction the fire mages have cause.
"Woah and i thought i overdid it"
Lucy yelps and jumps
"Ahhh Arcadia don't sneak up on me like that!" Lucy yells
She then looks me up and down
"Whoa, are you okay? you don't look too good" She says
I wave my hand
"Im fine just had a run in with an old enemy i should be healed by tomorrow"
I look over and see soldiers running towards us.
"Oh shit the army is coming" I say
I then look to where lucy was and she's not there as i look around i see Natsu running dragging her song and i smile and take off into the air
"Well you wanted to get into fairy tail didn't you?" He asks Lucy, "Well come on!"
Lucy smiles happily as I follow from the air, smiling myself pushing the thought of the nightmare out of my mind. As I look ahead to the hope of a bright future...
