Pee-wee Herman was bored. He had seen all the movies at the local theater, and none of them were as good as his own movie, Pee-wee's Big Adventure. He decided to sneak into the projection room and see if he could find something more interesting. He climbed up the stairs and opened the door. He saw a large popcorn maker, with a sign that said "Out of Order". He wondered what was wrong with it. He walked over to it and opened the lid. He saw a pile of popcorn kernels, but nothing else. He shrugged and reached in to grab a handful. Suddenly, he felt a strong suction. He screamed as he was pulled into the popcorn maker. He felt a sensation of spinning and falling, and then he landed on something soft and bouncy. He opened his eyes and saw that he was surrounded by colorful cartoon characters. He had entered Toontown, the world of animated movies. He jumped up and looked around. He saw a sign that said "Welcome to Toontown, where anything can happen". He smiled and said, "Wow, this is amazing. I wonder what kind of adventures I can have here." He walked along the street and saw a familiar face. It was Baby Herman, the cigar-smoking infant from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He was sitting in a stroller, being pushed by a human nanny.

He saw Pee-wee and said, "Hey, kid, what are you doing here? You're not a toon." Pee-wee said, "Hi, Baby Herman. I'm Pee-wee Herman. I came here through a magical portal in a popcorn maker. I'm looking for some fun." Baby Herman said, "Well, you came to the right place. Toontown is full of fun. But be careful, kid. Some toons are not so friendly. Especially that Judge Doom. He's the one who killed my brother, Eddie Valiant." Pee-wee said, "Who's Judge Doom?" Baby Herman said, "He's the evil toon who wants to destroy Toontown and build a freeway. He's got a gang of weasels who work for him. They're always causing trouble. You better watch out for them." Pee-wee said, "Thanks for the warning, Baby Herman. But I'm not afraid of anyone. I'm a rebel, a loner. I can handle myself." Baby Herman said, "Suit yourself, kid. But don't say I didn't warn you. Come on, nanny, let's go. I've got a date with a dame." He winked at Pee-wee and left with his nanny. Pee-wee continued his walk. He saw another familiar face. It was Steamboat Willie, the first Mickey Mouse cartoon. He was whistling and steering a steamboat. He saw Pee-wee and said, "Hiya, pal. Welcome to Toontown. I'm Steamboat Willie. What's your name?"

Pee-wee said, "I'm Pee-wee Herman. I'm a big fan of yours. You're the first Mickey Mouse cartoon, right?" Steamboat Willie said, "That's right, pal. I'm the one who started it all. I'm the original. The classic. The legend." Pee-wee said, "Wow, that's so cool. Can I ride on your steamboat?" Steamboat Willie said, "Sure, pal. Hop on board. I'll show you around Toontown. It's a swell place. You'll love it." Pee-wee said, "Thanks, Steamboat Willie. You're the best." He climbed on the steamboat and joined Steamboat Willie. They sailed along the river, passing by various toon landmarks. They saw the Ink and Paint Club, where Jessica Rabbit performed. They saw the Acme Factory, where all kinds of gadgets and gizmos were made. They saw the Toon Patrol Headquarters, where the weasels plotted their schemes. They saw the Dip Machine, where Judge Doom melted toons with a deadly substance. They saw the Toontown Tunnel, where the portal to the human world was located. Pee-wee said, "Wow, this is amazing. Toontown is so much fun. I wish I could stay here forever." Steamboat Willie said, "Well, pal, maybe you can. There's a way to become a toon, you know. All you have to do is make a wish and believe in yourself. Then you can be anything you want." Pee-wee said, "Really? That sounds awesome. I want to be a toon. I want to be a toon like you." Steamboat Willie said, "Then make a wish, pal. Make a wish and say it out loud." Pee-wee said, "OK, I wish I was a toon. I wish I was a toon like Steamboat Willie." He closed his eyes and said his wish. He felt a tingling sensation. He opened his eyes and saw that he had changed. He was now a black-and-white cartoon character. He had big ears, a round nose, and a tail. He looked like a mouse. He looked like Steamboat Willie.

He said, "Wow, it worked. I'm a toon. I'm a toon like Steamboat Willie." Steamboat Willie said, "Congratulations, pal. You did it. You're a toon. You're a toon like me." Pee-wee said, "This is awesome. This is the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you, Steamboat Willie. Thank you for making my wish come true." Steamboat Willie said, "You're welcome, pal. You're welcome. But don't thank me. Thank yourself. You're the one who made it happen. You're the one who believed in yourself. You're the one who became a toon." Pee-wee said, "You're right. I did it. I did it. I became a toon. I became a toon like Steamboat Willie." They hugged and laughed. They were happy. They were friends. They were toons. They continued their ride on the steamboat. They saw more toons. They saw Roger Rabbit and his wife Jessica Rabbit. They were walking hand in hand. They saw Pee-wee and Steamboat Willie. They waved at them. Roger Rabbit said, "Hi, guys. What's up?" Steamboat Willie said, "Hi, Roger. Hi, Jessica. We're just showing our new friend around Toontown. This is Pee-wee Herman. He's a toon like us." Jessica Rabbit said, "Hello, Pee-wee. It's nice to meet you. You're a very handsome toon." Pee-wee said, "Thank you, Jessica. You're very beautiful. You're the most beautiful toon I've ever seen." Jessica Rabbit said, "Why, thank you, Pee-wee. That's very sweet of you to say." Roger Rabbit said, "Hey, hey, hey. Don't forget about me. I'm her husband, you know. I'm the one who makes her happy. I'm the one who makes her laugh. I'm the one who loves her." Pee-wee said, "I'm sorry, Roger. I didn't mean to offend you. You're a great guy. You're a great toon. You're a great husband."

Roger Rabbit said, "That's OK, Pee-wee. I forgive you. You're a great guy too. You're a great toon too. You're a great friend." Pee-wee said, "Thank you, Roger. Thank you for being my friend." Roger Rabbit said, "You're welcome, Pee-wee. You're welcome. But you know what? You're more than a friend. You're a hero. You're a hero to all of us toons." Pee-wee said, "I am? How? Why?" Roger Rabbit said, "Because you came here to Toontown. Because you chose to be a toon. Because you showed us that anyone can be a toon. Because you proved that toons are not inferior to humans. Because you made us proud to be toons." Pee-wee said, "Wow, I did? I did. I did all that. I'm a hero. I'm a hero to all of you toons." Roger Rabbit said, "Yes, you are. You are a hero. You are a hero to all of us toons. And we want to thank you. We want to thank you for being a hero. We want to give you a gift. A special gift. A gift that only toons can give." Pee-wee said, "A gift? What kind of gift?" Roger Rabbit said, "A bicycle. A toon bicycle. A talking toon bicycle. A talking toon bicycle that can bring you to Toontown whenever you want." Pee-wee said, "A bicycle? A toon bicycle? A talking toon bicycle? A talking toon bicycle that can bring me to Toontown whenever I want? That sounds amazing. That sounds awesome. That sounds like the best gift ever." Roger Rabbit said, "It is. It is amazing. It is awesome. It is the best gift ever. And it's yours. It's yours, Pee-wee. It's yours to keep. It's yours to ride.

It's yours to enjoy." Jessica Rabbit said, "Here it is, Pee-wee. Here's your gift. Here's your bicycle." She handed him a shiny red bicycle. It had a basket, a bell, and a horn. It had eyes, a mouth, and a voice. It said, "Hi, Pee-wee. I'm your new bicycle. I'm your new friend. I'm your new toon." Pee-wee said, "Wow, thank you, Jessica. Thank you, Roger. Thank you for this wonderful gift. Thank you for this wonderful bicycle. Thank you for this wonderful toon." He hugged them both. They hugged him back. They said, "You're welcome, Pee-wee. You're welcome. We're happy to give you this gift. We're happy to have you as a friend. We're happy to have you as a hero." Pee-wee said, "Thank you, thank you, thank you. But I have to go now. I have to go back to my house. I have to go back to my world. I have to go back to being human." Roger Rabbit said, "We understand, Pee-wee. We understand. But don't worry. You can come back anytime. You can come back to Toontown. You can come back to us. You can come back to being a toon." Jessica Rabbit said, "That's right, Pee-wee. That's right. All you have to do is ride your bicycle. All you have to do is say the magic words. All you have to do is say, 'Toontown, here I come.'"

Pee-wee said, "OK, I'll remember that. I'll remember that. I'll come back soon. I'll come back often. I'll come back to Toontown. I'll come back to you. I'll come back to being a toon." He got on his bicycle. He said, "Goodbye, Roger. Goodbye, Jessica. Goodbye, Toontown. Goodbye, toons. I'll see you soon. I'll see you later. I'll see you again." He rang his bell. He honked his horn. He said, "Toontown, here I go." He pedaled away. He rode fast. He rode to the Toontown Tunnel. He rode to the portal. He rode to the popcorn maker. He rode to his world. He rode to his house. He rode to being human. He felt a tingling sensation. He saw that he had changed. He was no longer a black-and-white cartoon character. He was no longer a mouse. He was no longer a toon. He was back to being Pee-wee Herman. He was back to being human. He said, "Wow, that was amazing. That was awesome. That was the best adventure ever." He looked at his bicycle. It was still shiny and red. It still had a basket, a bell, and a horn. It still had eyes, a mouth, and a voice. It still said, "Hi, Pee-wee. I'm your new bicycle. I'm your new friend. I'm your new toon." Pee-wee said, "Hi, bicycle. You're my new bicycle. You're my new friend. You're my new toon. And I love you." He hugged his bicycle. His bicycle hugged him back. They said, "We love you too, Pee-wee. We love you too." They were happy. They were friends. They were toons. The End.
