Chapter One: Two Rivers
(Trigger Warning. Lots of violence. Mention of deaths and killing.)

They say history was always doomed to repeat itself. That the Dragon would be the one to fix and heal the world or to destroy it in the Dark One's image. It had been over thousands of years since the last Breaking of the World. The first Dragon broke the world. Men were driven mad from using their powers. It fell to the women of the Aes Sedai to restore the balance until the next Dragon came. He restored the power of men and gave his life in doing so. There had not been another Dragon in a thousand years. The Dark One was sealed away. Many began to believe the Dragon stopped being born. They entered the age of where the One's Power increased lives and cured cancer. Experimenting was frowned upon but done in secret. The Aes Sedai added a new ajah; The Scientists. It had finally felt like peace had begun. Or so we thought. There had been whispers in the night. That a new Dragon was born. A new line into an old soul. That this Dragon would change the fate of the world.

The day was long as the summer was new and just arrived. A young girl was kicking a ball back and forth with another young girl who was giggling. Two girls who were inseparable from each other. One had long raven black hair that fell to the middle of her back. Deep blue eyes and a gentle smile. The other young girl had blonde hair to her shoulders and gray eyes. The ball bounced past the girl with black hair.
"Go get it!" The blonde girl laughed while the black haired girl ran after it. Waving her arms to let people know she was running in their direction.
"Watch where you are going little girl!" A man shouted as she bowed to him before picking up her ball.
"Sorry mister!" The young girl spoke before she turned her heels and ran. "Jane! I got the ball!" The first girl spoke.
"Yes! Now let's keep playing!" Jane shouted. The first girl kicked the ball back as they went back and forth at this. The ball went past the first girl again. She sighed and turned to go after it. It went down an alley way as she moved quicker. Seeing the ball stopped by a foot. The boots were blue. She stopped and looked up at the owner. It was a tall woman in blue. Brown hair that went just a little past her shoulders and blue eyes like the ocean. The woman looked young and old at the same time for some reason. There was a man standing next to the woman as well. He was also tall and had a sword against his back. His hair was black and in a bun.
"Hello there. Is this yours?" The woman spoke and handed her the ball.
"Yes miss." The girl spoke as she took it gently.
"What is your name dear?" The woman asked.
"Alessia Solace. Yours?" Alessia asked as she gave the woman a soft smile.
"Moiraine Sedai." Moiraine spoke. Alessia's eyes went wide as she backed up a little. "What's the matter dear?" The woman in blue asked as Alessia turned her heels and ran from her.
"Should we stop her?" The man asked.
"No Lan. She's just another young child." Moiraine spoke.
"You don't think she has the Power?" Lan asked. Moiraine shook her head. Alessia heard them speak from the corner before she turned and smacked right into Jane.
"Ow!" Jane was rubbing her head as Alessia frowned.
"I'm sorry." She spoke as she stood up. Holding her hand out for the other girl. Brushing off the dirt on their clothes as they made their way down the street. There were several carriages being pulled by horses. The young girls pressed against the wall to stay out of people's way as they entered a building.
"Mama! Papa! We are back!" Jane's voice carried.
"Ah! Just in time for dinner! Hello Alessia! Does your father know you are here?" The woman asked as Alessia nodded her head. "Good! Go wash your hands. We have guests arriving for dinner." The woman spoke.

Alessia followed her friend into the wash room as they washed their hands. Hearing voices in the other room as the guests began to arrive.
"Why are there guests arriving?" Alessia asked Jane, who smiled.
"Dinner party. Mama loves throwing them. Who did you run from?" Jane asked as she changed the subject rather quickly.
"A woman. An Aes Sedai." Alessia replied.
"You met one?!" Jane gasped as Alessia frowned at this.
"You're not supposed to trust them." Alessia spoke.
"Why not? They are strong and have powers! It would be so cool to be one!" Jane spoke while smiling brightly.
"Why do you trust them?" Alessia asked as she crossed her arms.
"My parents are really good friends with some of them at the White Tower. They aren't all evil you know." Jane spoke. Alessia was silent as she dried her hands. "Come on! Dinner is ready!" Her friend was basically bouncing as she nodded her head. Following Jane out to the room where they would be eating dinner.
"Ah. Alessia. I am happy you joined us tonight." Jane's father spoke. Alessia nodded her head lightly. She was waved to a seat next to Jane and a woman in red. The woman had a strong jawline and long honey blonde hair. Light blue eyes that could pierce your very soul. There was kindness in her eyes as she was watching Alessia. She was rigid in her spot before sitting down. Her hands were folded in her lap as she was sitting up straight like her mother had taught her. She smiled softly at Jane who was drinking from her cup.
"I want to thank you all for coming. Our drilling team has made tremendous progress as we drill further into the edge of the area." Jane's father spoke as he raised his glass. Alessia was confused on what he was talking about but raised her glass as did the others before they began to eat.
"What's your name? I haven't seen you before." The woman spoke on her left.
"Alessia." She spoke softly.
"I'm Liandrin." The woman in red spoke. Alessia couldn't help but smile at her.
"Nice to meet you." Alessia smiled at the woman before turning back to her plate. It was not long until they were done eating. Alessia was helping her friend clean the table as the maid took the dishes.
"I told you they aren't all evil." Jane spoke.
"What do you mean?" Alessia asked with a raised brow.
"That woman earlier. She's an Aes Sedai as well." Jane spoke with a smile.
"Oh." Was all Alessia could say.
"Alessia!" Jane's mother called. She hurried over into the other room. Bumping into someone yet again.
"I'm so sorry!" Alessia spoke as she looked up to see the woman in red again.
"It's alright dear. Keep your eyes up." Liandrin spoke. The older woman moved a strand behind Alessia's ear. She felt her heart racing at this. Her fingers were gentle. Alessia then stepped back from the woman. "What's wrong?" She asked. Alessia stepped to the side and ran from the woman.
"Thank you for letting me stay for dinner!" Alessia spoke to Jane's mother.
"Wait! Your!" Jane's mother called out as Alessia was already outside. She slowed down as she was making her way down the streets.

"Father! I'm home!" Alessia shouted. A man came into view with a smile.
"Ah. Your mother went out to get some food for the kitchen. Did you eat?" He asked.
"Yes. I had dinner at Jane's." Alessia smiled as she sat at the kitchen table.
"How was it?" He asked.
"It was good! They talked about a mining team far north." Alessia spoke with a smile.
"Sounds interesting!" He spoke as the door opened and closed. A tall woman with long brown hair walked in. Alessia jumped up and hugged the woman.
"Hello mother!" She smiled as she was hugged back.
"Did you eat?" She asked. Alessia chuckled and nodded her head. There was a knock on the door. "Get the door will you?" Her mother asked as Alessia nodded. She nearly skipped to the door and opened it. There stood the woman in red.
"You forgot your cloak." Liandrin spoke with a smile. That smile made her heart flutter and she stumbled at her words.
"Alessia dear! Who is at the door?" Her mother asked as she stood behind her.
"Who are you?" The woman asked.
"My name is Liandrin Sedai. I was bringing Alessia's cloak over. She forgot it at Jane's." Liandrin spoke.
"The Aes Sedai are not welcomed here." Her mother spoke. Liandrin gave her a frown and handed Alessia her cloak. The woman in red gave them a bow before leaving. She couldn't help but feel bad at the woman. The door was slammed closed as Alessia jumped at her mother's reaction.
"Why are they not allowed?" Alessia asked.
"It's none of your business my dear. Now, run along." Her mother spoke. Alessia nodded and left the room. She went down the hall and entered her own room. Setting the cloak to the side as she walked over to the patio that was connected to her room. She stepped outside and leaned against the rails. Looking around as she saw the familiar flags of the city. She was living in Andor. They said it had grown in the last several hundred years. She was humming softly as something caught her eyes. It was the woman in red. She was speaking to Jane's father from down the street. She could easily make out the red colors from a distance. Watching the man disappear as Liandrin leaned against the rails as well. Alessia couldn't help but stare. Seeing that she was caught, the woman gave her a single nod. Alessia stupidly waved at the woman and then face palmed her forehead before heading back into her room. She wanted to know why her parents did not trust the Aes Sedai. She didn't even know what it meant. Was she too young to understand or was there something completely different going on? She huffed as she sat down on her bed and took her shoes off. Letting her hair fall from her single braid as she laid down on the bed. Not knowing that she had passed out.

"Is she asleep?" The voice of her mother spoke.
"It looks like it." Her father spoke.
"She met an Aes Sedai today. We need to be more careful." The woman spoke. Alessia could hear them speaking from the hallway. Hearing the footsteps fade away. She sat up and left her bed. She followed her parents to the other room in silence. Making sure she didn't make a sound.
"If they are swarming the city, then we need to leave." Her father spoke.
"She just made a best friend. We can't separate the two. It would break her heart." The woman spoke.
"It's better for her safety. If the Aes Sedai find out she can channel, they will take her away from us!" The man spoke. Wait. I can channel? Alessia thought as she bit her lip.
"She hasn't channeled since that day." He added.
"I know. She was scared. I've never seen anything like it before. It scared the White Cloaks for sure when they hunted her." Her mother spoke. Alessia frowned. Were they telling the truth? She didn't know. It angered her that her parents kept something from her. She frowned again and left. She went back to her room and grabbed her cloak and shoes. Putting them both on as she grabbed her coin purse. Slowly sneaking out of her room and then out of the house. The sun was gone as the moon was up. It wasn't dark in the city since there were lanterns being used by the buildings. Alessia came up to her friend's house and knocked on the door. Seeing the door open as Jane answered it.
"Alessia! What brings you here?" Jane asked. Alessia could sense her best friend had some kind of positive energy flowing from her. "Did something happen?" Jane asked as Alessia nodded her head. She was then pulled inside.
"What's going on? Why are you so happy?" Alessia asked.
"Because I can do this!" Jane spoke as she flicked her hand and a candle was lit. Alessia gasped.
"You have powers!" Alessia smiled and hugged her friend. "I'm happy for you." She spoke.
"Me too! They are taking me to the Tower." Jane spoke. Then it hit her. Alessia frowned at this. Her friend was leaving.
"I don't want you to go." Alessia frowned.
"I can visit or you can come visit!" Jane was smiling widely nonstop.
"I overheard my parents talking when they thought I was out." Alessia spoke as she followed her friend. She stopped and peeked through the door that was cracked open. The woman in red was in the room. She was talking to Jane's father and a few others that she did not recognize. She felt her hand grabbed as she was pulled away.
"Don't let them catch you listening in." Jane warned her. She nodded her head as they made their way back to Jane's room. The door was closed behind her as she jumped onto her friend's bed. Watching her friend sit next to her.
"Tell me. What did you hear?" She asked.
"My mother said she doesn't trust the Aes Sedai and neither does my father." Alessia spoke. She could see her friend hanging onto every word she was saying. "They said that I can do something called channeling." Alessia added as her friend gasped.
"Really? Can I see?" Jane asked. Alessia shook her head.
"I don't know how." She spoke as the door opened.
"Alessia! Your father is at the door looking for you." Jane's father spoke. Alessia nodded and got off the bed. She was halfway in the hall as she saw two more women she did not know. One was tall with black shoulder length hair that fell just a little past her shoulders. Her hands were in her pockets. She had a hard looking smile on her face. She was wearing a sleeveless white blouse and black pants. The other woman was shorter. Dark eyes and black hair as well. It was up in a braided bun. She had very low cut bangs. Her eyes were looking to the side. She was wearing a white button up long sleeve shirt, long black slacks and black boots. Her clothes looked too big on her. She has a handsome face. Alessia found herself staring at the woman.
"Alessia. This is Lanfear Sedai, Lillen Sedai." Liandrin introduced the women.
"Alessia can channel too papa!" Jane burst out. Alessia felt her face turn dark red as all three women looked at her.
"Jane!" Alessia hissed at her friend. Feeling a gentle hand on her shoulder. There was a pleasurable static that coursed through her body that made them both gasp a little as Liandrin withdrew her hand. She looked over at the honey blonde haired woman.
"Is this true?" The woman in red asked. Alessia shrugged her shoulders. Her blue eyes met the dark ones. Lillen was invading her personal space.
"Don't be weird, Lillen." Lanfear spoke. Some reason Alessia was trusting this woman. She was against the wall as Lillen inhaled her scent and closed her eyes.
"I can sense the Power from her. It's strong." Lillen spoke. Her words were a little slow but Alessia couldn't help but feel her heart race. Lillen's eyes opened back up to look at her. Alessia however was rigid in her spot. Lillen inhaled again and this time, Alessia saw the dark eyes dilate at this. There was a look in the woman's eyes that looked like there was not only internal conflict but a protective look as well. It confused her.
"Alessia!" Her father found her. "Why are the Aes Sedai here? Stay away from us!" Her father shouted as he picked up Alessia.
"Sir. We can sense the One's Power in her. By law she is to come with us." Lanfear spoke. It was true. Anyone who could channel, male or female, were required by law to train at the White or Black Tower.
"No! My daughter cannot channel." Her father shouted as he carried Alessia out of the house.
"Jane!" Alessia shouted as she felt her eyes sting a little.
"I'll find you!" Jane shouted as Alessia's father ran from the house while carrying her. The woman in blue was hiding from a corner watching the scene. Alessia's eyes caught hers and frowned. It did not take long as they came back to their house.
"We have to leave!" He shouted as he sat Alessia down.
"What, why?" Her mother came out asking. Seeing Alessia and hugging her.
"They know." He spoke quickly.
"Who? What?" Her mother asked.
"The Aes Sedai. They sensed her. We need to leave now!" He shouted. "You remember that bag my dear? The one we said for just in case we need to leave in a hurry?" He asked as Alessia nodded her head. "Go. Grab it. We need to leave." He spoke. Alessia nodded and ran back to her room.

Alessia tucked in her cloak all the money she had and grabbed the bag from under the bed. She felt tears falling from her cheeks as she heard her door open.
"Come along. We must hurry. The horses are waiting." Her mother spoke.
"Why do we have to leave?" Alessia asked as she followed her parents out of the house. Hearing the door locked as she frowned. "I have to say goodbye to Jane!" She protested. Seeing the three women come towards them. She was hoisted up.
"Stop! I have to say goodbye!" She screamed. They began running.
"Hurry!" Her mother shouted.
"Hiyah!" Her father shouted as they rode the horses out.
"Stop!" Liandrin's voice carried through the wind. Her hand was raised but they were out of reach now. There was a silver stream of a weave following them. It was circling Alessia's body and it then disappeared against a necklace she was wearing. It was not long when they made it out of the city's gates.
"Where are we going?" Alessia asked while feeling the tears fall from her cheeks.
"Far away. Where they cannot find us." Her mother replied. She frowned at this. Her heart was aching as she was going to miss her friend. Why would her parents break the law and keep her hidden? The horses carried them for hours as they arrived into the woods. Following a path down a hill as they came across a small village. She was looking around as her eyes were getting heavy from the crying. She was being dragged by her father who was whispering to her mother as they were deciding their next course of action. Then entered a tavern building as several people were drinking and having fun. Alessia felt uneasy at this.
"Happy Bel Tine!" Some of them shouted as she was confused about what that was.
"That's not for another few days!" A woman shouted at the man before they were laughing. The bartender lady was watching Alessia. She was a plump looking woman with dark eyes and hair. Curly in a tight bun. She then felt her arm yanked as she was pulled up the stairs and out of sight. The room was small with two beds as she sat on one. Looking out the window as black riders came into the town. They were hooded. One dropped a hood and she recognized the honey blonde hair anywhere. Alessia did not realize that she was fully in the window as the woman caught her looking. Two more figures in black walked up to Liandrin as she pointed. Right at Alessia! The two figures followed where she pointed and saw them. Lanfear and Lillen. Her heart leaped at the sight for some reason before she gasped. Feeling her body pulled back from the window. The curtains were drawn to hide them.
"They've found us!" Her father spoke.
"Why are we running?" Alessia asked in a quiet voice.
"The Aes Sedai cannot be trusted. If they find out what you are, they will use you to no end." Her mother spoke.
"What are you saying?" Alessia asked.
"They can track her." Her father spoke as he went into his bag and pulled out a gold looking bracelet and placed it upon Alessia's wrist. "Never take this off." He explained. She nodded her head to show she understood as she was lifted again off her feet. They exited the room. Seeing the bartender speaking to the women in black clothes. She pointed in their direction. Alessia saw the light blue eyes find her in time before she was carried out of the tavern. Back onto the horse. She sighed at this. This was not the life she wanted. Constantly on the run.
"Stop! By Tower law you are kidnapping a future Aes Sedai!" Liandrin's voice shouted. There was a blast of air as a warning shot from the short hooded figure. The hood fell when she shot another one. The dark eyes had that look in them again. The tallest one had something gold circling around her wrists as she flicked it. Setting Alessia's mother's horse on fire. Hearing the agony neighing from the horse as water was dumped onto it.
"Hurry!" Her father shouted as they rode out of town. Seeing the women mount their horses as well to follow.
"Stop!" Liandrin's voice carried into the night wind. Then it happened. Screaming from the village all over. Seeing it get caught with flames. The horses stopped. Alessia looked up to the front. There was a line of several men in pure white clothes and cloaks. Even the horses were white. White banners.
"White Cloaks." She heard her father whisper.

The next thing Alessia knew, she was running through the streets of the village that was now blazing with fire everywhere.
"Help!' She shouted. Her short legs could only run so fast as she tripped and fell. Feeling a pair of strong hands catch her before hitting the ground. Seeing a gold ring upon the middle finger of the left hand. A red stone in it. She looked up and saw the familiar face. She was embraced in the arms of the woman before coughing. She felt safe as she melted right into her arms. Following without question.
"Come." Was all Liandrin said as Alessia nodded. It seemed like she was in some sort of trance. Following the woman in the black clothes.
"Did you find her?" The voice of Lanfear spoke.
"Yes, we need to leave." Liandrin spoke.
"What about the people here?" Alessia asked. She may be young but she knew the innocent people did not deserve this.
"We came to get you to bring you to the Tower." Liandrin explained.
"Why?" Alessia asked.
"You can touch the Source." Lanfear spoke as Alessia shook her head.
"I don't remember." She spoke. Hearing more screaming as the houses started falling from the fire.
"We need to leave." Lillen spoke. She was weaving something. She sent a fireball past them. Getting rid of the White Cloaks. Alessia felt something tightening around her wrist. She looked at the bracelet and pulled it off. She gasped as she felt something surge through her body.
"There's too many." Liandrin spoke as Alessia looked behind her. She was right. They were closing in.
"Get the witches!" A man shouted. This somehow stung Alessia.
"Leave them alone!" She shouted. Stomping her foot as she felt the swirling around her go faster. She was touching the One's Power.
"Her strength. I can sense it." Lanfear spoke.
"Get them!" The man shouted again as the men all yelled and ran forward.
"NO!" Alessia screamed as the energy was released from her body. The shockwave sent everyone flying. Buildings destroyed by her power. She looked around as the fire was out everywhere. She frowned as the women in black were laying on the ground knocked out. She ran over to Liandrin and knelt down. Cupping the woman's cheek.
"I'm so sorry!" She cried. Feeling the tears run down her cheeks.
"That power. No one should have it." The same man spoke as he was sitting up.
"Is she the Dragon?" Another voice asked. Alessia looked around as people were sitting back up. Looking at her. Some had fear in their eyes as others looked hopefully. She had no idea what they were saying. She put the bracelet back on. She was still kneeling next to the blonde woman. She was squeezing her shoulder.
"Please be okay." She whispered before feeling her arm grabbed. "Stop!" She shouted. Seeing her father hoist her up onto a horse. They galloped out of the village. She looked back at the women on the ground as someone else went up to them. Some of the White Cloaks were following them into the night. Alessia could barely keep her eyes opened as she yawned.
"How did she do that?" The woman's voice that belonged to her mother asked.
"She took the bracelet off." The man spoke. Alessia frowned. She had disobeyed her father's strict rule to not take it off. There was a lot of whoosh of air from a shot of a crossbow. Both horses tripped over their hooves. Sending them flying into the air as Alessia hit the ground. Hearing a loud crack before passing out.

"Please! She's just a child!" The voice of a woman woke her up. Alessia mumbled nonsense while looking around. Her vision was blurry as she coughed again. Feeling pain in her chest as she looks up. The sun was coming up. It seemed she was knocked out cold for the rest of the night. Her head was pounding as her throat was burning. She tried to move. Wiggling her body as she was restrained in a wooden chair. Her clothes were gone as she was in all white. She struggled against her restraints again. The bracelet was still on her wrist.
"Calm down girl. You will be next." A man spoke as Alessia looked up.
"Let me go!" Alessia shouted. Her wrists were tied onto the chair's arms by rope.
"Please. Don't let her see this." The voice of her mother spoke out again. "She's only ten. She's a child!" Her mother cried again. Alessia looked up as she saw both of her parents tied to posts.
"You have been harboring a follower of the Dark One." The man spoke again.
"Sir please." Her father spoke.
"Child Valda." The man corrected him.
"Child Valda. The Dark One is sealed away. She's just a child! She doesn't know anything." He added. Alessia grunted and moved again. Feeling her skin rubbed raw from the tight ropes. Feeling the bracelet fall off. Two more men came into view. They were holding torches.
"Burning at the stake was outlawed many years ago, yes. But we have the right to still burn the followers of the Dark One." Valda spoke.
"No, don't!" Alessia shouted as the posts were lit on fire. "Let us go!" She screamed.
"My child. Calm yourself." He spoke while eating from his plate of food as he was sitting down. The screaming got louder as Alessia smelt burned flesh.
"No!" She started crying again as she looked away from her parents. She felt hands grab her face and forced her to watch. "Stop!" She weakly cried out. Feeling the anger rise inside of her. She reached out and touched it. Grabbing onto the Source. Feeling it swirl around her body as she shouted again. Feeling the waves hit and released from her. Sending that sonic boom that could have been heard from miles away. Sending the cloaks flying off their feet as she stood up. She had broken free from her restraints. Grabbing the bracelet to put it back on. She ran over to the posts. She was too late.
"No." She spoke softly. Her knees hitting the ground as she was covering her face. Hearing several shouting as she quickly stood up again. Some of the cloaks had survived her power. She ran back to the chair and pulled off a black cloak and put it on. She saw a small pile of different serpent rings with different colored stones. She grabbed them and pocketed them.
"After her! The witch must die!" Valda shouted as Alessia turned her heels and ran. She did not know anything about survival but she knew she had to run.

She felt her lungs burn. She did not know how long she was running. Hearing the clinking sounds of the rings as she held onto it in her cloak pocket. Not wanting to lose them. She was gasping for air as she stopped to catch her breath.
"I think she went this way!" A voice shouted as she frowned. Her feet were pounding against the earth as she ran again. Feeling a tree root trip her. Hitting the floor hard as she groaned. Standing back up and starting running again. She saw a flash of blue.
"Moiraine?" She called out. Hoping the woman was nearby. False hope. She frowned as there was no reply.
"Over here!" Valda shouted as she could see them gaining ground on her. Hearing her breath as she was breathing loudly. She skidded to a halt. Seeing the edge of a cliff. There was a river at the bottom. It was too far to jump to the other side.
"Girl. You cannot run forever. You need to be cleaned by the fire." Valda spoke.
"No! You are evil!" She spat at him. Backing up as she felt her foot on the edge of the cliff. Holding tightly onto the rings as she looked back at the man.
"Come here!" He shouted as she lunged at her. Alessia moved to the side and ran. Running as fast as she ever did and jumped. Hearing nothing but the wind in her ear as she felt like the time slowed down. She closed her eyes and then felt it. Gravity had taken over. Pulling her downwards. Her stomach was doing flips before hitting the water at the bottom. Feeling her leg hit at a weird angle as she cried out. Nothing but bubbles came from her mouth as she felt the river carry her away. She could see from under the water the White Cloaks looking over the edge for her as she drifted further away from the area. She came up for air a few times as she was struggling to fight against the current. It was wearing her down and she decided to stop fighting it. Letting it carry her down the stream. It had slowed down. She looked up. Coughing up water as she crawled onto the shore of the river. She looked up and saw men washing sheep in the river before seeing her. She got up and tried to run again only to cry out in pain as she hit the ground again. Looking at her leg as it was bloody and broken.
"What happened to you, my child?" A soft voice of a woman made her turn around.
"Men. In white." Was all Alessia could say.
"Is she a channeler?" A man asked.
"I don't think so." The woman spoke as she placed a hand against Alessia's forehead. "She has a fever. Are you injured?" The woman asked. Alessia nodded her head. Looking at her leg. "My dear it might be infected." The woman spoke as a man lifted her up. Alessia frowned and held the rings to her chest. She was being carried away from the river as she looked back to it. Feeling her eyes sting with tears again. There were several people laughing and singing while dancing around a pole.
"Happy Bel Tine!" A woman shouted. Some people were looking at her before going back to dancing. Alessia was curious at the sight but all she wanted right now was her parents back and that was never going to happen. They came upon a house as she was set onto a bed.
"What's your name?" A new woman came in. Setting aside several wraps and herbs.
"Alessia." She spoke softly.
"Want me to hold onto these dear?" The first woman asked as she was reaching for the rings. Alessia shook her head and held them closer. "Alright dear. Think you can heal her Nynaeve?" The woman asked.
"Her leg is broken. I can give her some antibiotics if any infection is occurring." Nynaeve spoke. Alessia laid back and sighed in relief. She was safe. For now. She saw the two women talking in the other room.
"She needs rest. Whatever she just went through, she's traumatized." Nynaeve spoke.
"What do you think happened, Wisdom?" The first woman asked.
"I don't know Marin but it seemed pretty serious." Nynaeve replied. Both of them caught Alessia listening in as they came back.
"I'm Nynaeve. This town's Wisdom. Sort of like a healer." Nynaeve spoke as Alessia nodded her head.
"I am Marin. Welcome to the Two Rivers." Marin spoke.

-Notes-
What a rough start huh? Let me know what y'all think! This is a taste of the next fanfic after The Wheel Turns! Remembering that you voted for the sequel of the series. Which means Alessia has two soulmates. And plus, a twist in this story!
