18. Chapter 18

Dear Kyoko,

I attached to this email a few extracts of a journal I found in the ruins of Hope's Peak Academy. For some reason, I had the feeling it was left here on purpose for us to read it.

I know that you are still not sure about the Neo World Program, but maybe this will convince you that they are human beings like us, with qualities and flaws and emotions. They simply were manipulated and brainwashed by Junko and they deserve another chance to prove to us they can be good. I can't stop thinking that I could be them, and they could be us!

I believe there is still hope within every single one of them, and if we only give them a chance, they will become their true selves again.

I believe in them. So please, believe in me Kyoko, if you don't want to believe in them like I do.

I know you will do the right thing.
