Nurse Joy practiced with Meloetta every day with the walker and teaching it new signs. One day, she decided to try something different with it.
"Okay Meloetta, let's try walking without the walker."
Nurse Joy took Meloetta out of the walker only for Meloetta to fall down on her bottom.
"It's okay; we'll keep working on it."
Nurse Joy could feel her hand's getting dry from signing as she grabbed for the bottle of lotion and squirted it on her palms.
Chansey came over with a plate of malasadas.
"Oh, thank you, Chansey. " said Nurse Joy as she took one of the malasadas.
smelling and looking over at the malasadas, Meloetta got curious and wanted to come over. Meloetta got up slowly and started to slowly walk over to Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy looked on with astonishment seeing Meloetta walk.
"Oh, you want a malasada? Okay."
Nurse Joy handed Meloetta a malasada and it started eating it with joy on its face.
"Wow, I can't believe Meloetta walked over here by itself for a doughnut."
Nurse Joy looked at her book of Pokémon sign language.
"Huh. The Pokémon sign for doughnut is the same sign for onigiri. That must get confusing."
