8/11 TV World's Yasogami High Afternoon
"YOU'RE NOT ME!" Labrys exclaimed as a dead silence pierces the room. Once she declared her denial, her Shadow's face twists with an evil rapture.
"Haha... Ahahahaha!" Shadow Labrys laughed wickedly. "Finally... You've said it...! Now... I can be finally myself!" A dark malicious aura enveloped Shadow Labrys once more and started twitching. "Yes... the power...!" She stuttered as the pitch black flames appeared behind the shadow followed by a sound of chain clanging with the reveal of a Grimm-like creature shouting a roar. Some blacks flame died down and revealed the creature like a demon with horns on fire with chains holding it down on the surface with only its head and one of its arms.
*Shadows of the Labyrinth
"Oh no..." Ruby muttered.
The students were shocked. "Is this Labrys's Shadow given form?" they asked themselves as gaze up at the shadowy turned to Shadow Labrys as the Shadow lunges at the unsuspecting Ruby. "Ruby, move!"
Ruby heard Yang and dodged her attacker, propelling herself away from Shadow Labrys as the demon-like beast accompanied the Shadow. "The rules are still up, you won't get away from Asterius's fury! I'll kill you and the rest of your friends, one by one!" Shadow Labrys laughed manically as the beast glared at Ruby as she stood her ground, quickly thinking of a way to get close to Shadow Labrys.
"I never thought I have to fight again this quick...!" She thought, recalling her recent fight with Yu. "Guys, I'll try to stall her as I can, think of something so we can get out of this!" She commanded as she starts shooting away at Shadow Labrys.
"Okay! Okay, what can we do to help!?" Jaune wondered as he asks everyone.
"We don't have a way to help Ruby. Nora, how's the door?" Blake asked.
"It's not budging! I... can't seem to break it open!" Nora exclaimed as she keeps slamming her hammer at the door."..." Weiss looked around as Ruby fends off Shadow Labrys and Asterius, and it doesn't look like Ruby will hold for Labrys lunges towards Ruby, swinging her weapon fluently while Ruby parries her attacks. But just when Ruby manages to push back the Shadow, Asterius moves in and lobs a punch towards her, making Ruby propel herself into the air. But Shadow Labrys's launched her chain arm at Ruby and caught her leg and was about to slam her to the ground, but Ruby managed to summon her Persona and caught the chain, swinging the Huntress like a pendulum as she landed on her Persona's hand. "I'm still standing, you'll have to kill me first, right?" Ruby goaded Shadow Labrys with open arms. Soma copied her movements as well.
"You pullin' my chains aren't you!" Shadow Labrys laughed as she launches her chain arm and Asterius appeared from below with both arms ready to strike like pincer jumps out of the way, while withdrawing her Persona away, and avoided Asterius attack and rushed towards the off-guarded Shadow. While she manages to strike a couple swings on Shadow Labrys, the shadow retracts her chain arm and retaliates with her axe. The clash between the scythe user and the axe wielder is intense, even with Soma against Asterius were decimating the interior walls around them to a point where Asterius manages to catch the Persona and throws it into a wall, creating a hole in the wall.
"Ow!" Ruby winced in pain from the Persona slamming into the wall.
"! A way out! Hurry!" Jaune pointed and he and Ren held the shaken Labrys by shoulders and tried to move her out.
"What about Ruby!?" Yang questioned. "We can't just leave her!""Wait! I don't think that's necessary!" Rise interrupted.
"What do you mean?" Blake questioned.
"Remember how Shadows are formed by the original self?" Rise mentioned. "If we can convince her to accept her Shadow, maybe then it'll stop its rampage!"
"Oh... that's right!" Pyrrha realized as they turned to Labrys.
"But... isn't she a machine? How is it even possible for her to create this school?" Weiss questioned.
"I'm not sure. But surely you know how Labrys is responding to all of this, right?" Rise the the group, tries to discerns the situation, Ruby continues to swing away, casting Sukukaja to build her speed. Shadow Labrys swings her Axe heavily and slams her weapon into the ground and lifts it upwards, unleashing broken debris and send them flying towards Ruby as she dodges them. Even Asterius tosses the bigger debris, much to Ruby's surprise, as she does duck through the crevasse of the debris as she points Crescent Rose and fires a sniper bullet at the Shadow as the enemy manages to move her head as the bullet rips off a piece of skin right next to the Shadow's right eye.
"Is that it!?" Shadow Labrys roared as she launches her chain arm at the young huntress and, though she tries to to dodge the attack, the Shadow's arm grips Ruby's hood and violently pulls her around, crashing her into debris and then throws her into the felt the force of the impact of the concrete wallShadow Labrys staggered as she got hit, but a moment of pause afterwards, she laughs menacingly as she glares at Ruby. As she faces her it reveals that wound, where the sniper bullet made its mark, was that the black fume was pouring out from the wound. "Nice try. But you're gonna need more bullets if wanna take me down! Hahahaha!" Shadow Labrys laughed out loud.
"I don't have to beat you!" Ruby stated as she turns and looks at her distressed android. "I know for a fact that Labrys can overcome this!"
"Yeah, right, you're just sayin' that just to sugarcoat that fraud! You'll end up stabbing her in the back on a damn whim, just because she isn't human!" Shadow Labrys retorted. The Shadow commanded Asterius the slam Ruby with its arms.
"Crap!" Ruby staggers as she summons Soma as the Persona holds the attack back, holding the arms back from sandwiching the young Huntress. Ruby still felt the pain from her Persona holding the giant arms back. But when Ruby readies for a counter attack, a pair of chain arms flies onto Ruby's neck in an attempt to choke her to Labrys then reels her chain arms back with dragging Ruby in toll and instantly shatters her Persona. Ruby clutches the Shadow's arms while trying to grasp for air as she sees Shadow Labrys's cold gaze.
"Everyone will use you Huntsmen as sacrificial lambs, pawns, tools, just so they can earn the victory you lot labored for. They'll discard you once you outlived your usefulness, so how can you understand how I feel!?" She questioned while choking Ruby.
"... That's... the thing...!" Ruby gasped for air. "We did... our job... for one person...! And there are... more people that need... help!" The young huntress stuttered. She lowered one of her hands to summon her Persona once again and blasted a Eiga between them and separating each other. Ruby inhaled a huge amount of air once she released herself form the Shadow's grip. "I choose to help them so they can live for tomorrow. I'm sure my friends that has the same problem like you has it hard. But what matters back then, what matters now, is that you're Human!" Ruby 's eyes lit up in response to Ruby's declaration. "I'm human...?"
"She's right. If you weren't human, you wouldn't be able to create this school, Labrys." Rise mentioned.
"We're not gonna pretend that we understand, but you don't have to be alone in this!" Jaune agreed.
"I...I..." Labrys stuttered to hear what they're saying.
"SHUT UP!" Shadow Labrys roared as she tossed Ruby into the electrified wall, shocking Ruby as a result. "Lies! Lies! All annoying lies! It pisses me off!"
Ruby fell to the floor as she was paralyzed from the shock "You're angry... and that's okay! Ow..." She panted as she stands back up. "Feeling that pent-up frustration, that's part of being human! Those emotions are natural feelings that anyone has!"
"I SAID SHUT UP!" Shadow Labrys roared as she raises her Axe overhead and was about to crush when the Shadow drops her Axe down, Ruby pulls the trigger on Crescent Rose and propels herself away from the strike as Shadow Labrys plants her Axe into the floor. Ruby then aims her weapon after sliding a few meters away. *Bang* *Bang* Ruby made a couple shots onto the Shadow's knee joints, making her fall on them. "God damn, you!" Shadow Labrys growled as she shot her chain arm at the Student Huntress.
"That's enough!" Ruby exclaimed as she proceeded to propel herself straight towards Shadow Labrys, zipping pass the shadow's chain arm and slams her feet at the Shadow's face. From the velocity that Ruby went, causes enough damage on the Shadow to cease it's means to fight after the Shadow's defeat, the electric fence powered down, Ruby soon felt her fatigue kick in after the adrenaline died down.
"Are you okay Ruby?" Yang walked towards her with concern."Fighting a pair of duels in a day, I think I can handle more." Ruby chuckled weakly."That's my little sister!" Yang laughed as well as she patted Ruby's back. "Anyways... think you can still help her?" Yang wondered as they looked towards the despondent android.
"Yeah, I think I know what to say." Ruby assured as they walked towards Labrys.
"What... am I supposed to believe in...?" Labyrs muttered.
*I'll Face Myself
"Well, you could try to believe in me, in all of us." Ruby assured as Labrys looks up to face Ruby eye to eye. "It just so happens that I have a friend like you back home. Her name's Penny and she's also an android."
"Your friend is like me...?" Labrys muttered.
"Penny? Wait, you mean that weird quirky girl that Teddie talks about?" Weiss realize.
"Oh yeah, isn't she the one at the prom who dances like a... robot..." Jaune stuttered in his speak when he realized as well.
"Yep. Look, just because you're made about nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts, doesn't make you any less human like us. You have a heart, a soul. Heck, if you were just a machine, you wouldn't been able create the place or even have a Shadow." Ruby reassured as she cradles Labrys's hands. "If you were to meet my friend, I'm sure you won't be alone.
"I..." Labrys muttered. She looks at Ruby and her friends as they smiled at her too.
"I mean, it's not like we're all the same people, we got hot-headed friends, a sassy rich girl, and Faunus of different animal traits, you'll fit right in." Yosuke's voice echoed.
"Hot-head!?" "Excuse me!?" Yang and Weiss exclaimed in Yosuke's response.
"Wait, Rise, is the link back up?" Blake asked.
"Yep. I also filled them in, so they should understand the situation." Rise giggled.
The investigation Team via Persona Link, assured the Student Huntsmen that they're okay and that the invisible wall disappeared. They also said that they were going to regroup with Team MAYJ and meet up at the exit.
"I think it'll be nice to meet Labrys that Teddie mentioned. She sounds interesting." Yu added.
"Yeah, we'll meet you there." Ruby relayed as she looks between Labrys and her Shadow. "That Shadow is a part of you, we can see how much pain you were forced to endure. But it's going to be okay, you're not just some machine. We don't have a reason to reject you." Ruby assured.
"We're all with you." Jaune agreed.
"Yeah..." Labrys nodded solemnly. She looks around at all the faces in the room, seeing the Beacon Students looking brightly. She then turn and walks over to face her Shadow. "That's right... You're me." She declared as they faced each other, eye to eye. "You're the way I was on the inside, screamin' to be understood... the pain wantin' to be known... You're all I couldn't say. You were inside me... You're machine with a heart." She lamented as she looks to her motionless Shadow self.. "I'm sorry I ignored you all this time. I was the one who left you all alone..." Her Shadow then started to quiver as Labrys embraced it. "No... You are me after all...!"
The strength of heart to require to face oneself has been made manifest...
What happened next, is that a symbol of Asterius appeared on the floor and shined brightly blue. Beams of light lit upwards as a bright silhouette in a shape of a female as its hair flown, revealing its appearance of a unique model of Labrys, red eyes, flowing long blueish gray hair, metals plating, and waistcloth attached. The Persona transformed into a tarot card of the Fortune Arcana, fading into her self as she clenched her chest softly.
Labrys has faced his Other self... She has obtain the façade to overcome life's hardships, the Persona Ariadne.
"You feel better?" Ruby asked the mechanical maiden.
"Yeah..." Labrys nodded as she faces the Beacon Students. "Thank you for helpin' me through this and I'm sorry for putting you guys into trouble." She apologized.
"No worries about it. It's good to know you're okay." Yang assured.
"Soooo..." Nora whimsically inspected Labrys all around her. "Are these limbs seriously mechanical? If we play it right, we could pretend that she has prosthetic limbs on her arms and legs." She suggested and gasped at her. "And what IS this glorious battle axe!?"
"Huh!? It's, er... also a jetpack?" She replied.
"That's... so... COOL!" Ruby and Nora gasped simultaneously with sparkles in their eyes. The other watch their childish antics.
"With her accepting her Shadow, we finally can bring this situation to a close." Weiss mentioned.
"Yes, let's return to our friends. I'm sure they're waiting for us." Pyrrha agreed as they all went to regroup with the others.
8/11 TV World's Entrance Afternoon
The Student Huntsmen eventually rendezvous with their friends at the entrance, greeting each other as the they couldn't help but notice Yosuke getting patched up from his stab wound.
"I see that wound could've been worst." Weiss joked.
"Shut up." Yosuke grumbly retorted. "I just hope this doesn't become a trend in the future." He dreaded.
"So that's Labrys? It's nice to meet you." Yu greeted her.
Labrys: "Hey, uh... sorry about makin' you fight like that. I was-"
"It's okay, I- we understand." Yu interject Labrys's apology. "It's never easy to face ourselves like you did, most of us had to go through the same thing." He mentioned, most of everyone who face their selves nodded in agreement.
"I had no idea..." Labrys baffled. "I can't imagine what that was like.
The Investigation Team were still surprise that they see what Labrys look liked, and Android of all things. Of course none of them were heartless enough to say she's not a person.
"Still can't believe I lost on the first round. Wish I could've been there to smash that general's face for the taunts." Kanji muttered as glanced at Teddie who he thought was the fake Teddie.
"Wh-why are you staring at my lustrious fur? Are you falling for me?" Teddie gasped.
"WHAT!? Hell no! I'd rather use your fur for a hoodie!" Kanji retorted.
"A hoodie, you say?" Jaune gasped as well. "I guess a Teddie hoodie could be popular..."
"Popular...?" Teddie repeated as he imagined his face plastered on every shirt.
"I think we've gave him a odd idea..." Ren whispered to them
"Well, this tournament didn't count, we weren't even going all out, either." Chie shrugged.
"I'm just glad none of us were badly injured." Yukiko sighed with relief.
"Are you guys a seriously forgetting my injury!?" Yosuke complained in response.
"Some friends you have." Weiss giggles sarcastically with a grim smile.
"Looks who's talking!" Yosuke pointed at Weiss's teammates.
While the Students were all chatting and bickering, Team MAYJ "It looks like everyone's accounted for." Minato said as they arrived.
"Minato, guys!" Ruby waved to them. "Good to see you guys made it out."
"Likewise. So..." Minato turned to Labrys as they both trade glances at each other.
"Thank you for looking after my sister." Aigis bowed. "We will take care of her from here." She assured as she offered her hand to Labrys.
"W-Wait! Wait!" Ruby interject, walking in between the android sisters. "I get that being reunited is good and all, but... We've seen a lot of bad memories in this world, and she suffered through it really badly." She explained as she calmed down and gave a stern look. "It's... true, isn't it?"
Team MAYJ were baffle and confused. "Bad memories? What are you talking about?" Yukari questioned.
"Maybe it's something about the Kirijo Group? I mean, I don't think Mitsuru-senpai told us about it." Junpei shrugged.
"Aigis?" Minato turned to her with curiosity.
"Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons were formed after the existence of Shadows became to being, Androids being able to wield Personas and to combat the Shadows. The creatures of Grimm are no exceptions, but were not our primary objective." Aigis explained.
"We get that, but what's this about her being pitted against her sister robots? It was outright right cruel!" Jaune pointed out.
"There aren't any plans I heard of about Labrys getting scrapped or sealed away." Minato looked around from the Student Huntsmen and the Investigation Team, smirked, knowing they care for Labrys. "Mitsuru-senpai won't allow that. I assure you she not like those cruel people back then. Of course, that's something she'll have to hear from our Senpai herself." He assured. "Especially knowing her relative's worried for her." His eyes glanced at Aigis.
Labrys: "You truly mean that? I'm not gonna be scrapped?"
"You deserve to live like a human, Labrys. We just need to let Mitsuru know about this and I know she'll guarantee you that choice." Yukari assured.
"Our boss lady's not the kind of lady who'd sugar-coat her words, that's for certain." Junpei nodded.
"That's great! We're so glad for you, Labrys." Nora sighed with relief.
"It's relief, indeed." Ren nodded in agreement.
"You think could grab her some clothes to cover her mechanical parts? She might be able to blend into society." Blake suggested.
"O-Oh, no, you guys don't gotta do that! I felt like there was no gettin' around bein' sealed away again... I've made friends now, so- Aaagh!?" Labrys reassured, but she then suddenly paused, much to everyone's confusion
"Labrys!?" "Is she okay!?"
"It's not over yet..." A creepy voice echoed through Labrys' mouth. She then brought out her battle axe as Ruby jumped away before she slammed her weapon down.
"L-Labrys! What are you doing!?" Ruby gasped.
"Aigis, is this the same communication we use?" Minato asked as he and his team ready their weapons.
"! No! Someone must have hacked her!" Aigis exclaimed. "It isn't coming from inside this facility... the signal originates elsewhere!"
"But where is 'elsewhere'? Like, outside the TV?" Junpei questioned.
"So many fighters against one player unit. What an unfair situation." The Creepy Voice muttered. The students saw Labrys' monotonous eyes.
"Hey! Let go of Labrys!" Ruby demanded. "What are you doing to our friend!?"
"Your... friend, an android? Now that's funny." The Creepy Voice laughed, much to everyone's irritated expressions. "But if you want me to relinquish my controller over her, you might have to break her apart. You are its friend, right?"
"Excuse me!?" Ruby gritted her teeth.
"It can't be... Labrys's Shadow was only the mastermind of the tournament... You... you're the true culprit behind this whole thing!" Naoto realized.
"Indeed. It was I who stole Labyrs away. Since I don't have a Persona and can't enter a TV, I needed a puppet that could run amok for me. Labrys' Persona was only partially awakened, so I had a feeling her Shadow would appear if she went a little suffering."
"H-How... dare you!?" Ruby grits her teeth.
"You all got the better of me this time; you all deserve to know at least that much. But I digress, instead of breaking the android apart, why not fight for her instead. Snuff the life out of the others here, if you don't mind, then I'll let her go." The Creepy Voice suggested.
"Bastard, you fricken' outta your mind!?" Kanji roared.
"We are not going to do that." Yu declared with his weapon at the ready. "I don't know how you're doing this, but we won't allow you to force Labrys into killing anyone!"
A moment pause and the creepy voice gave out a sigh as it looked towards Yu and Ruby. "Then I might as well begin the process of elimination, starting with you two." The Creepy Voice as all of the students were ready to pin their android friend down.
However, Blake heard a sound of rifle loading up. she scanned her surroundings and when she looked up at the metal scaffolding- "Look out, above!" Blake exclaimed.*BANG* A silhouette of a person holding a rifle fired at the Young Huntress in red, as Ruby turned around only to miss the bullet coming right at her, missed by an inch from her nose.
"Ack!" Ruby yelped with surprise from a surprise attack from nowhere, but as they turned to the silhouette, it jumped into the area, it turns out to be someone that looks like- "What the what!? Is that me!?" Ruby gasped as the shadowy version of Ruby stood up, starring back.
"Hey... no way, is that my sister's Shadow?!" Yang asked the Investigation Team.
"It can't be, we never seen her face her Shadow before." Chie answered as they gaze towards what they believe is Shadow Ruby.
"..." Shadow Ruby said nothing as she readies its own Crescent Rose even the Sinister Voice out of Labrys chuckled.
"Yes, I had plans to analyze the combat experience only from the Investigation Team by using this tournament. However, you Huntsmen's unexpected arrival was but an terrific miscalculation. More students to observe the more data I can use to generate a copy." The Creepy Voice explained. "And don't think I've forgotten how outmatched we are; Bring on the ring." Labrys fingers' snapped as the metal rods appeared around Ruby.
"Ah hell, everyone back up!" Yosuke tried to move away from the electric field expanding, except Ruby as her Shadow self blocked her off. "R-Ruby!?" Yang gasped as she her sister inside the encroaching field.
"Oh crap...!" Ruby stuttered as she continues to back away as Shadow Ruby spins her Crescent Rose, as she was about to- *Clang* a blade stuck out between Ruby and Shadow Ruby in a quick moment. They see Yu, with electric static emitting on his body, in a deadlock with the enemy, as he forces his strength to push Shadow Ruby away.
"That was too close." Yu huffed.
"Now how did you manage to force yourself into the ring? The electric field should've shocked you from entering." The Creepy Voice asked. "Of course, I expected as much, considering that you're a leader of your little group."
"Yu?" Ruby gasped as she shoots at Shadow Ruby as it uses its scythe to block the bullet as it jumps back to the controlled Labrys's side.
"You've been conditioning these duels in a one vs one clash, so why are there both of you attacking Ruby-chan?" Yu questioned as he pointed at the controlled Labrys.
"Collecting data, of course. But now that I think about it, perhaps you both can grant me a first hand experience." The Creepy Voice suggested, raising Labrys' War Axe and took a fighting stance along with Shadow Ruby taking a fighting stance as well.
"We'll have to take down Labrys without destroying her body entirely. As for your shadow..." Yu stated as he looks to Ruby looking slightly shaken while ready to clash. "Believe in yourself, Ruby-chan, I don't think that's your Shadow." He reassured.
"You're right." Ruby sighed as she regain her composer. "Alright, let's do this!"
*Red Like Roses Part 2
While a paused build tensions as Yu and Ruby waits for either of their opponents to make a move. The clash starts off with puppet-controlled Labrys lunging forward at Ruby with couple heavy diagonal shot the puppet controlled Labrys on the leg while propelling herself backwards while Shadow Ruby went to pursue, only for Yu to block her with his Katana. A few slices at the Shadow and it backs away as it summons Soma for a counter-attack.
"Soma!? How is her Shadow able to summon a Persona?" Jaune gasped his question.
"Izanagi!" Yu immediately responds by summoning his Persona to reach a deadlock. "Ruby-chan's Shadow is mimicking everything, even her fighting style." Yu pondered as he thrusts his Katana at the Shadow. Yet, Shadow Ruby is more swift and agile compared to Yu, so all he managed to do was block every strike coming at him, even barely dodging sniper shots from Shadow Ruby's Crescent Rose.
However the puppet-controlled Labrys stepped in and swung the battle-axe violently as Yu parries every attacks. One of her swing went low as Yu leaps over as he dives in with a stab over head, yet the puppet-controlled Labrys dodged the strike and gripped Yu's arm. "Nice try, but you're gonna have to do better." The Creepy Voice mocked as it flung Yu upwards and summoned Ariadne to cast a red weaving line towards the airborn Yu as the red weaving object expanded and trapped Yu in a seal mid-air, followed by puppet-controlled Labrys tossing her Battle-Axe at him like a tomahawk as it connects as the spinning axe shreds his arua. The puppet-controlled Labrys then stretched her arm out through her chain arm and swung her weapon like a whip, with a sharp blade at the end, dealing more damage from the velocity of the incoming swings that were increasing faster, preventing Yu from trying to retaliate.
"Yu! No!" Ruby gasped as she dodges Shadow Ruby's sniper shots "Soma!" She summons her Persona casting Eiha while on the move, distracting her Shadow self as she rushes to her partner's aid.
Once after the flurry of attacks died down the Puppet-controlled Labyrs swung the loose chain arm with her Battle Axe down violently upon the downed Yu. Everyone gasped in horror, but before Ruby propels herself towards Yu.
Yu catches Ruby's hand as she pulls him away from the Puppet-controlled Labrys's would-be fatal strike. Her Battle Axe slams into the ground and creates debris from the Puppet-controlled Labrys pulling out her weapon out of the floor. The pair then took cover from Shadow Ruby's sniper shots.
"Switch targets, I'll handle the Shadow!" Yu suggested as they flinched from bullet hitting their cover.
"Got it- Heads up!" Ruby gasped as the Puppet-controlled Labyrs appeared above them and cleaved through the debris cover, prompting the two to jump away from each other. "Just like last time... but with her Persona..." Ruby thought as she and the Puppet-controlled Labyrs clashed. Her Persona, Ariadne, was an additional arsenal was a complete game-changer.
Yu kept running as Shadow Ruby shot at him. With the debris laying around he dives in between cover in order to approach his target. However, as soon as he jumps out of the last cover, he notices Shadow Ruby disappeared from her position. He glances left and right until he notice his shadow getting bigger and immediately summon Izanagi to anticipate an attack from from above. Shadow Ruby's Soma clashes with Izanagi, blade and scythe clashing while the Persona Users themselves clashed at each other as well. Shadow Ruby even propelled itself all around him in order to disorient his concentration until she strikes upon Yu's right flank as Yu blocks the attack as the sharp blade of the scythe drags upon Raijin nearly cutting Yu's cheek. Yu felt surprised the he almost got cut from the scythe's edge, but he managed to push Shadow Ruby back with the Shadow staggering from the knockback as Yu followed up with casting Mazionga as the Shadow Ruby tried to dodge the few lightning blasts until it hit her, incidentally paralyzing its movement.
The onlooking students were watching with anticipation between their Yu and Ruby against Shadow Ruby and the Puppet-controlled Labrys.
"Holy crap that was to close!" Yosuke sighed with surprise.
"That Shadow is literally using Ruby's combat style. Now that's cheating!" Weiss exclaimed.
"Come on, Yu-kun, Ruby-chan! You can do it!" Chie cheered.
"Sister..." Aigis muttered with concerned.
As they watched Yu and Ruby fight against their opponent, Minato heard a familiar echo chiming in. "... We're fine, apparently we have a situation here." He spoke to no one.
"Huh? Wait, Fuuka-tan, you can hear us!?" Junpei's tiger ears perked up as even Yukari and Aigis noticed as well.
"What's going on?" Blake asked Team MAYJ.
"It's Fuuka, she's contacting us!" Yukari answered.
"Well, as you can see..." Minato began to explain their situation.
"Why are you using Labrys for some selfish reason!?" Ruby questioned angrily, as the scythe and battle-axe connected. "What the point of torturing a girl like this? She has a heart! Do you even know what she has been going through!?"
"A heart, hm...? Meaningless." The creepy voice contemplate yet immediately dismissed the notion as it had Labrys swing away the Student Huntress. "Whether or not she has one matters not at all to my plan."
"You-!" Ruby grits her teeth in response but the Puppet-controlled Labrys extends her loose chain knuckle and catches Ruby's Crescent Rose, whipping the chain arm around to cause Ruby to lose her grip and footing. Eventually the Student Huntress was pulled off of her feet and was slammed on to the floor as she lost her grip on Crescent Rose. "Guh!"
"RUBY!" Yang shouted in terror as she even slammed her fist on the electric fence, even ignoring the electric surge coming from it.
Ruby tries to stand up, only to realized the puppet-controlled Labrys was right next to her on her left flank, and her weapon inches away from her in front of her. With little time to think she tried to dive for her weapon, only to be pinned down by the android's chain arm from the back of her neck. "You were a nice resource of data, I will personally make this quick." The Creepy voice assured in a monotonous voice as she hears chains revving up.
"! Soma!" Ruby struggled as she summons her Persona only to be tied down by Ariadne's ribbons. "N-No!"
Puppet-controlled Labrys raised her weapon up high enough to strike down Ruby and stood there... for some reason. "What's this...?" The creepy voice wondered as it tries to move Labrys's arm to finish off Ruby.
Ruby looks up to Labrys into her eyes revealing her eyes glitching from the dead grey eyes to her original red eyes. "Yu-kun...! Hurry...!" Labrys grunted while she wrestles control for her body.
"ZIODYNE!" Yu shouted as Izanagi shot a lightning blast towards Ariadne, dispersing the Persona, and paralyzing Labrys. As Labrys collapse on the ground, Yu rush in to remove her chain arm off Ruby's neck. "You okay, Ruby-" *BANG* GAAHHH!" Yu yelped as something shoved him aside. All of a sudden, his aura shattered, revealing that Shadow Ruby shot him when his back was turned.
"Yu!" "Yu-kun" "Narukami!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.
Ruby was besides herself. As she stood up, the Puppet-controlled Labrys began to twitch as the android's eyes glared at her. "Hm... she was quite easily defeated. Evidently I didn't push her far enough..." The creepy voice summarized. "Well... she is a test unit, so this is as far as she goes. Now on to the subject's shadow..."
"Huh?" Ruby wondered as she turns to her Shadow as it twitches her eyes and jolts back with a surging dark fog enshrouding it.
"Um... what's going on with that Shadow?" Weiss questioned in a frightened tone.
"Uh, Teddie?" Yosuke turned to his Bear Mascot for answers.
"Holy... so many Shadows... merging!?" Teddiew gasped. "This never happened before! Young Sensei, be careful! That Shadow is not like anything we've encountered!" He warned
"Huh? Whaddya mean it ain't anything we fought?" Kanji questioned.
Soon enough the dark fog swirling Shadow Ruby as it regains it's fighting pose, followed by smiling menacingly back at Ruby. "Oh boy, fresh meat for Crescent Rose! Time to die!" Shadow Ruby delcared excitingly as she fired her shots.
"Ahhhhh!" Ruby duck for cover, but just when she reached for it, Shadow Ruby's Crescent Rose tore through the cover with her weapon tossing it away with unnatural strength.
"Come on! Fight! It's what you've always wanted! Isn't that what you desired!?"
Shadow Ruby mocked as she and the original Ruby clash at each other with their scythes. They even shot at each other when they were out of reach of each other. "Was... Ruby-chan this battle crazy...?"Chie asked Yang, who was bewildered by the behavior of her sister's Shadow.
"No... She was really excited to becoming a huntress, she wasn't this... heartless." Yang answered.
Shadow Ruby didn't let up, as her demeanor came out of nowhere and is trying to overwhelm the original Ruby. "Soma!" She beckoned her Persona.
"Rip her to shreds, Soma!" Shadow Ruby ordered as she summoned her Persona as well.
Both their Personas looked alike as well while their scythes rang aloud as Ruby and her Shadow shot at each other with their own Crescent Rose.
"Ngh...! Can't lose...!" Ruby grunts as she then spins in the air like a buzzsaw blade.
"Ha! Like that'll stop-" Shadow Ruby scoffed as she proceeds to dodge until it realizes something caught her leg, noticing Yu holding it down.
"You're not going anywhere!" Yu declared as Shadow Ruby gasped in bewilderment as she soon finds itself at end of the spinning scythe of the original Ruby as her Crescent Rose sunk into the Shadow's flesh and tore off... the Shadow's arm.
"Did... did she win?" Jaune wondered as the electric field powered down.
"Ruby!" Yang exclaimed as she ran towards her. Ruby looked terrified as she saw her shadow self without an arm. She clenched her own arm where she sliced off. "Hey, look at me! Better me losing an arm than you, sis."
"Yang!" Ruby cried with fearful tears back as the sisters hugged each other. Yang noticed her shaken up from the Shadow.
Yosuke and Teddie helped Yu sat back up as they watch the downed Shadow Ruby and its dismembered arm as is spewed black smoke out of the wound.
"Yikes... imagine Ruby-chan actually losing an arm." Yosuke wondered.
"Yeah..." Yu agreed with a sigh.
But then Shadow Ruby's golden eyes rolled towards Ruby's direction. "Ruby Rose..." The Shadow uttered as the real Ruby flinches as the Shadow smiled wickedly. "Let's meet again..." It suggested as it smiled wickedly and laughed maniacally as it dissolved into a black smoke and disappearing.
"Okay... if that ain't foreshadowing, I don't know what is..." Junpei shivered.
"Probably is." Minato assured as they see Aigis carrying the unconscious Labrys.
"Despite the blunt bruises and nicks in the metal limbs, she is safe." Aigis examined. "If we could return home we can repair her back into good condition."
"I think I had enough of this trip in the TV world for one day..." Yukari complained.
A few minutes later, everyone regroup around a TV that Teddie conjured out of nowhere. "So this is way out? We just go into the TV, just like that?" Junpei asked.
"Dude, did you forget last time?" Kanji reminded him. "That part where we rescusd Pyrrha-san?
"Oh... oh right!" He realized.
"My team and I came to this world through a different TV than yours will this take us to the entrance where you guys came in?" Minato questioned.
"Yeah, most of the Investigation Team came in to this world through another TV last year, but the one we're using should be at Junes' Electronic Department." Yu explained.
"The TV's are expensive, so not a lot of people would bother to come around that area- ow!" Yosuke added but winced in pain from the stab wound.
"Oof... the wound's still fresh?" Yang squinted as she stares at Yosuke's injury.
"Yu do you think it's a good idea to let Professor Narukami know what happened? I think she'll want to know how Yosuke got that injury" Blake mentioned with a worried look.
"It'll be bad if she finds out, she'd be hounding us on how we ended up like this." Weiss agreed with Blake's sentiment.
Yu pondered what to do. "I... think I know someone that can help recover our injuries..." Yu recalled. "His leaves should also cure our fatigue, so we won't be able to draw any attention."
"Leaves?" Yukiko repeated and also realize who he was talking about. "Oh! That fox from that shrine nearby?"
"A fox?" Ren wondered out loud. "A Fox faunus has something to help?"
"Yeah, we know who can help us. We'll lead." Yu state as he went though the TV first. Everyone else followed suit, hoping to leave this P-1 Grand Prix ordeal behind for good.
A/N: Words can't express how sorry I am for not posting for so long. Life denied me any chances to work on this. Multiple rewrites, work, that feeling of not putting more words into this chapter. That damn... Writers block...
I was thinking of implementing some Inazuma characters from Genshin Impact, but I'm nowhere familiar to the Fate/ series.

Jaune's Ennui
Jaune is reading a book of puns while Kanji is crocheting fabric as they sat on a same couch. After a while they see Yu roughed up and Ruby with a beowolf holding on to the student huntress's hood.
"How's it goin', Senpai." Kanji greeted without batting his eye to his friend while focusing on his knitting.
"I'm doing fine. I just a little tired." Yu reassured.
"Cool." Kanji replied.
Jaune couldn't help but wonder why a Grimm was latched to her hood like a fish on a hook. "Um... Ruby? Did you know you have some-"
"Yeah, I know. Long story." Ruby interject exhaustedly.
"Yeah, looks like a long story." Jaune agreed. "Pretty good one, I bet. Full of adventure..."
Ruby: "Yep"
Jaune "Excitment?"
"Oh yeah." Ruby replied tiredly.
Jaune: "Hijinks?"
Ruby: "So many hijinks."
"Yep, yep, yep... good stuff. Good stuff." Jaune continued the small talk.
"Yeahhh... well, uh... I gotta deal with this, so, uh... see ya!" Ruby point to that Grimm as she drags it through the room to another.
Though, through it all, Jaune couldn't help but feel dissatisfied. "*Sigh* Kanji, d'you ever get the feeling that you're a... I don't know... just a supporting character in life and other people are having all the cool adventures?" He ask his couch neighbor.
"Not really." Kanji answered, still focued on knitting.
"... Maybe it's be just me then." Jaune sighed.
"Bah, quit worryin' that stuff, Ted." Kanji reassured... who?
"Ted? Wait, Teddie? I'm Jaune!" Jaune retorted in bewilderment.
"Huh? Oh!" Kanji snaps back to reality and realizes he mistaken Jaune for Teddie. "Shit..." He muttered as he continues knitting.
Suddenly, they heard a smack coming from a room next door as Yu was flung from it to the other side of the room where Jaune and Kanji were at. Yu screamed in pain in midflight.
"Ahh no! Too much adventure!" Ruby panicked as she was also flung out from the other room but, regained her footing with Crescent Rose ready. It seems the Beowolf was more persistent. ?Oh boy... this gonna get crazy!"
"Ruby-chan, I'm coming!" Yu assured as he rushed back into the frey with Zwei as reinforcements. "Damn you, plot progression!" He grunted as the chaos ensues.
"... Erm... you sure you ain't the one with the Ursa costume?" Kanji wondered, leaving Jaune baffled.
