Chapter 31
"You made my moment of kindness bigger then it is."
"What you're doing and saying is wrong in every way. You have to stop. You can't be in my life anymore."
"You've become too problematic and focused on bringing me into you're anger bitterness and misery."
"I won't be in you're life anymore. It's too much." Lucas proclaimed.
"You're letting her get in the way. I can't lose you." Haley said. The emotion in her voice.
"I'm lost to you and that's how it has to be." Lucas replied as he watched her leave before going upstairs.

He found Brooke in their bed. The babies supported by spare pillows on her side. His side of the bed untouched.
He gazed over at the babies who were both wide awake now.
He then focused on Brooke.
"I don't understand you going to see her or comfort her."
"Then keeping it from me so i get caught off guard."
"I don't like this. Feeling like an outsider."
"Being kept in the dark is unfair and i really don't need that." Brooke said.
"She made it seem like the boys weren't yours as if i would ever do something like that. There is no coming back from that."
"She needs to be cut out of you're life." Brooke proclaimed.
"I was trying to protect you. You just gave birth. You're emotional and self conscious. I didn't want to anything more to it." Lucas replied.
When the babies started to cry. She felt breasts start leaking.
"I'm like a hormonal teenager. My body is raw full and leaking."
"I need you." Brooke confessed.
"You have me. I'm sorry Brooke." Lucas replied.
