I am always yours.
Just as i was about to leave the office for the day. Jimmy called me and clarified that he realized during these months that they weren't a right fit for each other. And even gave a contact for me to reach out too.
To my surprise when i called the contact it was a woman. And she was eager to work with me. I accepted. Relieved.

"Momma is here. I missed the two of you so much." Brooke said.
Karen smiled up at her. "They are fast asleep Brooke."
"Everything went well. I'll be here whenever the two of you need me." Karen replied.
"We may not need you as much as we planned." Brooke added in.
Lucas walking into the home. Just as Karen was making her way towards the door.
Once she left. Brooke looked to Lucas.
"I'm going to order take out. Some comfort food." Brooke announced.
"I want to know how it was like being at the store again?" Lucas asked.
"I missed it. How was it being back at the office.?" Brooke asked.
"It was eventful. Jimmy dropped me as a client. He made it clear we weren't a good fit anymore and helped me get a new editor."
"I looked into her. She has alot of clients that are success stories." Lucas replied.
"I missed you." Lucas added in. Wrapping his arms around her.
Brooke leaned over kissing him. Lucas kissed her back.
"What are you craving?" Brooke asked. Once the two eventually pulled apart.
"You and whatever you want to order." Lucas replied.
Brooke felt herself blush.
"The boys are asleep." "So we can relax and eat. Light up the fireplace. Keep the baby monitor close by." Brooke announced.
"They sleep longer now. Which means we can eat and reconnect too." Lucas replied.
"I haven't been ready to dive into that part of our relationship again. You've been so patient and understanding about that."
"I love you and i want you. But i'm still working through my own stuff and i want to feel like the woman you married who couldn't keep her hands off you."
"I just need more time Luke." Brooke explained.
