Chapter 34
"Can i bring up something i've been thinking about?" Brooke asked. Turning to Lucas. The two had recently finished dinner and were seated beside each other in the living room.
"I'm listening. You have my full attention." Lucas replied.
"I love my store and dealing with customers. All of it really."
"But ever since i've had the babies. I've changed."
"My mind and heart. Priorities."
"I have more money then i will ever need."
"They will only be little for a short time. I just want to fully engulf myself in being a mom. Fulltime."
"What do you think?" Brooke asked.
"I support you. If you think this is what's best for us and our family then that's what will happen." Lucas replied.
"Thank you." Brooke replied. Leaning over to kiss him.
He kissed her back. Pulling her close to him.
"I love you." Lucas said.
"I love you too." Brooke said.
As the boys cries filled the baby monitor.
"Quiet time is over." Brooke said. As she got up.
After talking with her girlfriends. About this new decision she had made. They informed Brooke that there would be no need to shut the store down.
They volunteered to run the store together until she was ready to return. While handling their own careers.

Others were encouranging Lucas to end the marriage.
The couple had been having calls and cameras invading for a week.

They decided to keep a low profile and stay home until this passed.
