The next day

Luz woke up at 3 am like usual and immediately got to work on the blueprints for her lab finishing them at 7 am. Luz had just finished programing the nanites to build the lab when Eda barged in waking King up in the process "time to get to work kid" Eda was about to continue until she seen Luz with a computer in her lap and a black mass (the nanites) in front of her "what the titan is that" Eda said drawing a spell circle to burn the nanites and fired not seeing a half asleep King about to walk into the way of the fireball. King was about to get hit when luz moved the nanites into a half dome shape in front of King protecting him from the fireball "Weh" King yelped at the sudden nanite shield.

Luz just powered off her headband and hit enter on her computer causing the nanites to spit in two and leave "before anyone asks those are nanites, small machines that I created and they will be building my lab and a small temporary workspace for me to work on some projects" Luz explained while King recovered from the scare with the fireball. "ok and sorry there King didn't see ya there" Eda apologized to King as one half of the nanites reappeared and quickly built an odd looking stand (imagine a skinner/smaller version of the power armor stands from fallout 4) before making a workbench with a light and a drawing table with an light bar at the top complete with an office chair.

The nanites quickly left and Luz forgetting that King and Eda were there pulled the Mark 2 out of its hiding spot and put it on the odd looking stand before taking the deactivated arc reactor out from its mounting and putting it on the work bench to begin working on it only to realize Eda and King were there "explain?" Luz asked "explain" Eda confirmed looking at Luz "This is the mark 2, it's purpose is to help do load tests with my arc reactor as well as test the atmospheric height at which ice will start to form and cause problems with the repulsors in turn preventing me from flying" Luz explained while shifting her weight to each foot and rubbing her hands constantly seeming to remember something.

Eda didn't want to press any further due to this so she continued with a question "what's an arc reactor?" Luz seemed to perk up at the question "it's the power source for the suit as well as for many other of my inventions" Luz explained to a silently amazed Eda "well you have potions to deliver so you need to head out now" Eda explained to the young inventor who had already began tinkering with the arc reactor "sure I'll be there in ten minutes" Luz said to the owl lady.

10 minutes later

Luz went downstairs and picked up the sack of potions and was about to leave when Eda stopped her "why are you wearing the suit?" Eda asked the young inventor " I was just going to fly to each house and drop the potions off that way as I already mapped Bonesborough so I know were to go" Luz responded while showing a map of Bonesborough to Eda. Eda just let the inventor go and went inside mumbling something about needing more apple blood.

30 minutes later

Luz was almost done with her orders only having one left she went to the door and knocked but no one responded, she tried a couple more times before the door opened and Luz being Luz walked inside and canon events ensued with Luz faking interest while Adegast talked about the prophecy, Luz got the money and left burning the map as she did so. She told Eda about Adegast and checked the progress for her lab which was at 33.5% completion. Luz then went to work designing a new ideas (mostly new suits) until midnight.

The next day we see Eda, Luz and King at the trash slug. Luz brought some nanites to salvage with Eda as Luz controls them to pull out all the usable trash for Eda to sort through, after that was done and Luz went to explore the woods and found willow. Luz who wanted to see hexide read all the rules and found on book 12 page 6669 section 1 had expressly allowed anyone to visit inside of the school as long as they aren't attending another school and a student from hexide allows them entry. Luz also read that a student is able to switch tracks as long as there parent approves or the student has an immense affinity to that track.

After explaining this to willow along with some reassuring words they were off to hexide. After they got to hexide and Luz recorded Willow granting her entry and she explored the school meeting willow along with Gus and correcting Gus about the use of braces being for straitening teeth and not to make them magnetic. After Willow introduced Luz to Gus she takes Luz to principle Bumps office, after Bump allows them entry "Hello Willow and who may your friend here be" Bump greeted "Hello principle Bump of hexide my name is Luz Noceda Stark and I was welcomed into the school by Willow, I have a recording if you need proof"

Luz said looking at Bump "well miss Noceda it is against the rules for a non students to wander the halls" Bump said looking at Luz "No it's not actually. It's written on book 12, page 6669, section 1, it expressly allows anyone to visit inside of the school as long as they aren't attending another school and a student from hexide allows them entry" Luz states with Bump looking for it in the rule book. After a moment of Bump turning pages he says "well you're correct miss Noceda" Bump said in a surprised tone of voice as he writes something on a piece of paper "Now I take it that you didn't just come here to educate me on the rules did you" Bump said after writing the note "you'd be right principle Bump. I'm here in regards to Willow switching to the plant track" Luz said getting into a more professional posture.

"Well sorry but only the parents can do that... Don't tell me that I'm forgetting another rule" Bump said with a bit of sadness at the end "yes, yes you are. The next rule down from the last one it states a student is able to switch tracks as long as there parent approves or the student has an immense affinity to that track and Willow here wants to do the ladder option" Luz states and Willow nods and Bump quickly looks at the book finding it exactly where Luz said it would be. After a bit of talking Bump leads Willow to a sectioned of area of the school to prevent cheating as Luz hangs out with Gus and answering his questions and explaining what he doesn't understand or misinterprets. The bell rings as Willow and principle Bump walk up to them.

"Luz I got into the plant track, thank you" Willow said "It's no problem Willow. I got to go now but I hope to see you again soon" Luz said as she walked out of the school and headed towards the owl house. Once she got there she's greeted Eda and explained her day to her mentor as well until King came from upstairs holding something "Luz, I found this in your room. Could you tell me the story behind it" King asked while showing Luz and Eda what he had in his hands.
