Luz woke up earlier than usual and went into her newly constructed lab. She went to the very bottom of the lab and activated the the giant arc reactor, she then activated the nanite constructors then got to work building all of the suits she designed after uploading them to the holo-table/servers.

3 weeks later Luz has built marks 3 through 48. The mark 6 to 48 don't have there arc reactor(s) installed as Luz wanted to improve the arc reactor more before doing so. Luz was experimenting with solidifying magic when she created a dimly glowing blue liquid, she couldn't wonder what it was before it turned into a solid leaving a 1.5 inch by a 1.5 inch cube of a dark blue metallic object. Luz shaved a piece off and ran some tests on the shaving seeing if she could use it until she exposed it to magic making it glow blue until she moved it away from the magic. Luz seeing this scanned the cube into the modified Sierra Madre vending machine naming the material mabraelium. Luz then proceeded to take the cube of mabraelium and carve out a hollow triangle along with making a new arc reactor to hold it.

After Luz finished making the arc reactor and testing it she prepared to switch out her old arc reactor with the new one when Eda came down the elevator. "Kid what are you doing down here I haven't seen you all da-" Eda said as she paused mid-sentence when she seen Luz about to remove her arc reactor. Eda quickly stopped Luz accidentally breaking the new arc reactor in the process and asked "why did you try to do that kid, you almost gave me a heart attack?"

Luz gained a downtrodden expression before explaining to Eda that this arc reactor was slowly killing her due to the mercury-palladium amalgam that powers it and she was just about to replace the old reactor with the new one when she came in and stopped her breaking the new reactor in the process. Eda was shocked at the news that Luz was slowly dying and she just broke the only thing that could've solved it. Luz noticing Eda's rapidly deteriorating thought process stepped in "it's ok Eda I can make another one. I don't know how long it will take to recreate the reactor but it can be rebuilt" Luz said trying to cheer up Eda Which somewhat worked.

The rest of episode 4 goes as in canon except for when Luz learns about the light glyph. Luz had just learned about the elixir when the owl beast busts through he door, Luz's brain Acting on instincts that she didn't know she had channelled the magic at the arc reactor through the nanites and created a light glyph out of the magic causing a bright flash of light stunning the owl beast letting Luz get away.

After Eda returned to normal Luz remembered her summoning the light glyph and tried to replicate it which didn't work until she simply thought 'light' which caused a small ball of light to form, Luz did this a couple more times experimenting with different images of what she wanted to form and so on.

The next day

Luz started to work on an A.I as she was at the human collectables stand until willow and Gus showed showed up and showed Luz the convention poster which she promptly begged Eda to be allowed to go. Eda after some convincing agreed to go, Luz picked up a red and silver metallic briefcase as Eda packed up her stand eliciting questions from Willow and Gus as what it is and what it does with Luz responding with "lets just say it's, insurance incase this goes south".

Willow and Gus didn't question further wondering what Luz meant by that. the episode continues as canon (Amity's talk with Luz is about her entry into Hexide instead of being Willows abomination) until just before the duel. Eda doesn't set traps in the arena while Luz walks out there with her briefcase much to the confusion of everyone except Eda and Luz. Lilith appears and introduces Amity and Luz "Beloved citizens, the Emperor's Coven proudly presents an impromptu demonstration of the sort of witch we seek every year. Introducing Amity Blight. Versus... Some human girl"

The crowd cheered for Amity and murmured about Luz. The bell rings/screams and Luz drops the briefcase and steps on it. the crowd, Amity and Lilith gasped as Luz puts on the mark 5 armor.

After Luz fully sets up Luz waists no time and takes advantage of Amity's distracted mind by tossing a black substance at amity's hands. Amity getting out of her stupor couldn't doge the black substance as it covered and restrained her hands keeping them together and unable to preform spell circles, Amity made a spell circle with her feet "Abomination, rise!" Amity commanded as an abomination rose from the ground only to be shot down by Luz who threw another clump of that black substance that bound amity's hands. Amity dodged the goo only for it the change it's direction and land on her foot and extended and captured her other foot pulling them together causing Amity to fall backwards.

"Luz the Human wins" Lilith announced not sounding to pleased. Luz after the announcement releases Amity who gets up and runs away in shame. Luz deactivates the suit which returned to it's suitcase mode and chased after Amity, the rest of the episode goes as in canon.

The next day

Luz was working in her workshop carving another element from the leftover mabraelium when Eda carefully walked in as she seen Luz's concentration and the note to her about needing her help with replacing her arc reactor (mostly so she doesn't have another heart attack and destroy this one). "hey kid, I'm here when your ready" Eda said in uncharacteristically soft tone of voice. After a moment Luz responded while using tweezers to carefully move the element into the prepared arc reactor, after a tense moment the arc reactor came to life after Luz used some nanites to jumpstart it with some magic.

After Eda washes her hands she invites Luz to come to town with her. Luz wanting to have access to the rest of her arsenal of suits declines and goes back t making more mabraelium elements for the arc rectors. A few days later Luz finished her agenda for the past 2 weeks including creating all the arc reactors/putting them in the suits, put a remote call feature on her suits, installed a lockdown feature on all the suits, finished creating the A.I she was working on and programed some nanites to form a band on each wrist/ankle that can transform into repulsor hands/boots. When Luz exits her lab and goes inside the owl house she's met with a stack of books "take these to the library While I babysit this kid" Eda said as she handed luz a big stack of books "I'll get right on it Eda" Luz replied walking out the door.

As Luz enters the book pile glows green and begins floating forward and into a red spell circle beeping as a librarian speaks after the beep "late, late". The librarian grabs the last book as Luz walked to the counter "Coffee, grass and bloodstains? These are Eda's, aren't they?" the librarian asked as Luz just nodded. After a sight they speak again "I'll put them on her tab. By the way, we're closing early for the meteor shower" the librarian gestured to the framed picture of the Wailing Star "neat, I'll have to read a book about that" Luz said as she walks off to find a book about the wailing star as well as some magic theory textbooks as well as some advanced textbooks on various subjects as well.

After a few minutes Luz had read all the books (60 books half of which where half the size of Luz herself) she put them back and was about to leave when she heard Amity talking "What do you think you're doing?" Luz moved towards the sound of Amity's voice to see Amity reading a book to a bunch of baby class students " 'We're your friends and we wanna help,' said the Tin Boy with a yelp. Otabin smiled and paced the floor. 'I've never had real friends before.' " Amity continued as Luz remain silent as not to disturb her while leaning on the door frame separating the children's section from the rest of the library " 'Then we'll be your first,' the Chicken Witch clucked. Otabin couldn't believe his luck. So, Bookmaker Otabin surrounded by friends, bound a book of friendship and that's the end." Amity finished as she closed the book and put it away.

After the kids say goodbye Amity notices Luz leaning on the doorframe that lead to the rest of the library "hello human, what are you doing here?" Amity asked with a bit of sourness in her voice. "I was here to drop off some books for Eda and overheard you reading to the kids which I didn't want to interrupt" Luz replied nonchalantly while getting out of her lean on the wall to stand up properly. Luz was about to say something until a new voice came out of nowhere "hey mittens, who are you talking to" Amity seemed to get flustered by the name as two people who luz assumed to be Amity's older siblings walked up carrying a pink rabbit themed lunch kit "just a new student at hexide" Amity replied.

The male sibling was about to respond to Amity but let out as surprised yelp as the female one did the same. When Amity got over her sock she look at her two siblings bound in that black substance that Luz used to restrain her in there duel. there was black bands that wrapped around them pining there arms and legs to there sides with there hands covered in the substance as well seemingly unable to move as well, when amity looked as to why the haven't fallen over she seen lines made out of the same substance as the bands preventing them from falling.

Amity looked at Luz for an explanation only to be met with a glare that was directed at her siblings, she also noticed the bands on Luz's writs disappeared. After a moment Amity asked Luz "why'd you do that Luz?" Luz simply gestured for Amity to look at her older siblings, as she did she was shocked to see what she seen what Luz pulled out of there pockets. A bunch of prank supplies, the plan to cause cause in the library and break into it during the wailing star but what had Amity's full attention was her diary as the substance Luz seemed to be controlling gave it to her while some of it remained, binding the book shut

"I knew you two were trouble makers as soon as I laid my eyes on you so I ordered some of my nanites to follow you an stop any of your pranks, imagen my surprise when Jarvis told me you went through a secret passage and tried to steal Amity's diary but he stopped you by locking the diary. I swear you two have less brain power combined than box of rocks if you thought your plan would work cause I've seen this exact plan come to fruition in the human realm and lets just say that there was one less human that day" Luz explained giving them a death glare that made them noticeably paler.

After a moment of Luz glaring at them and what Amity swore was Edric pissing his pants Luz released them and as the nanites promptly returned to being wrist/ankle bands as well as some going into her pockets as excess. After Edric and Emera were band from being anywhere near the library Amity thanked Luz and left, Luz transformed the wrist/ankle bands into repulsor gloves/boots and took off toward the owl house arriving as Yi Yi/ the bat queen left and went to bed being exhausted from todays events.
