Two weeks later (once upon a swap doesn't happen)
Luz was working on the mark 50 when Eda came through the door startling Luz causing the nanites that made up some of the floor around Eda to form onto spikes aiming to impale her only to stop a centimeter away "sorry Eda, you scared me" Luz said chuckling at Eda's slightly scared expression as the nanites reformed back into the floor "well one of you friends want Ed to see you" Eda said going to the elevator in a slightly faster speed than normal. Luz put the finishing touches on the mark 50 before leaving to meet what she assumed to be Gus as Willow said she had something to do today.
Luz questioned Gus on what he wanted from her as he explained about the human appreciation society and the short construction track kid that wanted to become president using fake item's and wanted her do debunk them as she was a human and would know the real from the fake. Luz agreed as she had planned go give principal bump the signed acceptance letter for her to attend hexide. After Luz debunked to small kid as well as giving Bump her signed letter and receiving her uniform along with picking a track (construction).
Luz was walking in the hall going towards the exit when someone scared her from behind causing the nanites to form a pillar for Luz's back shooting towards and hitting the person responsible. After the nanites retracted Luz turned around to see a lightly skinned girl with pink hair and 3 eye's getting up a good 20-30 meters away from her. As the girl was getting up Luz was jogging towards her "sorry about that, you just scared me and since the nanites are connected to my brain they react to my emotions-" Luz apologized but was cut off by the girl giving her a glare before leaving to what Luz assumed the healers. Luz just left forgetting about the encounter as she flew away in her newly built mark 50.
The next day
Luz got up at her normal time and got ready for her first day at hexide. Judging by her schedule she received she has photography class with Willow. Luz pauses that train of thought as she wonder which suit she should take "the mark 5 or the mark 50" Luz muttered to herself until she decided to take the mark 50 and keep some suits on standby along with taking some extra nanites just in case. Luz and Willow were in there photography class talking as Willow pulled out some of Luz's memories and hung them up. After class we see the same 3 eyed witch from earlier with Amity when she spotted the photography class. Remembering Luz attend the class she decided to go into the class and burn her photo memories. Amity tried to stop her but couldn't reach her in time so she took a picture for proof it wasn't her as she left with the 3 eyed girl sending the picture to principle Bump along with an explanation she got from the 3 eyed witch named Bosha. Luz was feeling the effects of her memory being fried as Amity told them what happened. Willow seeing how Amity was actually trying to help decide to allow her to come along, when they got to the owl house Eda knocked Luz out with a sleeping spell and gave Willow and Amity a bell. "ring the bell when your done or if your in danger" Eda instructed to Willow and Amity before sending them into Luz's mind
/Inside Luz's mindscape/
Willow and Amity appeared in front of a house with a garage attached to it "where are we?" Amity asked unfamiliar with this kind of mindscape "we're at Luz's human home, Luz showed me it when we did the memory tweezers" willow informed. Willow and Amity tried to enter the house but the door was locked "what do we do now half witch" Amity asked. Willow turned to Amity who looked genuinely confused with a slightly angry expression "I don't know, what about you star student of hexide" willow replied with a mocking tone when she said the title she regarded Amity with.
Amity who was visibly annoyed was about to fire a comeback when she was pushed back by who she assumed to be Willow who now had a confused expression. Amity and Willow started fighting and arguing until Amity yelled "it wasn't my choice!" Willow paused for a moment before anger took hold again "what do you mean it wasn't your choice!?" Willow shouted as she continued to wrestle with Amity on the front lawn of the house/mindscape completely forgetting why they were there in the first place.
Amity, after somehow getting willow into a chokehold spoke again "I can show you proof" Amity said as she conjured a door in front of her and Willow with the door already open. The door show's a memory of a younger Amity being told to dump Willow or else they would make sure Willow wouldn't be able to attend hexide or have a future. After some protests the younger Amity agrees to dump Willow as a friend. The door closes and recedes into the ground "I'm sorry for bullying you for all those years Willow, I truly am" Amity said in a sincere voice as she released Willow from the chokehold "friends?" Amity asked
"friends" Willow confirmed. After a moment of silence Amity and Willow remembered why they were there in the first place "LUZ" they both shouted and after a moment a familiar voice answered "somebody called?" The voice answered and reveled themselves to be "Luz?" Willow asked "no, but I'm her inner self" the inner Luz said having an amused smirk. After a moment of silence Willow realized something "you were the one who used Amity's voice to taunt me!" Willow said accusingly "I did, and I got the result I wanted though I did need to give it a little nudge after that" the inner Luz states causing Amity to realize that Luz was the one who pushed her and not Willow but before she could speak the inner Luz moved and unlocked the door while saying "you two should go as you have a job to do".
Amity and Willow went through the door and was confronted with a seemingly endless hallway with paintings lining each side. Without a word Amity and willow walked down the hallway searching for damaged memories eventually finding one named "First flight?" Amity read the nameplate for the picture frame that hat visible tears in the canvases and a burnt frame "this was Luz's first flight in the mark 2!" Willow said with an exited tone. Amity was still confused but decided to just see what it was as it might be something she knows just going by the same name, they hop into the memory

Willow and Amity see a still image of Luz putting on the mark 2 armor. They look around some more until they see a few moving sparks come from a corner of the garage. They followed where the parks came from and seen a somewhat burnt piece of paper with only the top of the page being intact. Willow reached out for the paper with it being restored when she touched it "wow" Amity and Willow said at the same time "we shouldn't read it as from what I seen at the Top it's private" Willow said as she set the paper down but as she did Amity noticed the words 'mercury and palladium poisoning' which caused Amity to snatch the note from Willow "what are you doing?!" Willow yelled in surprise and shock. Amity just turned to paper and showed willow the medical document about Luz's arc reactor slowly killing her as the mercury-palladium amalgamate used as the power source was leaching into her bloodstream causing both mercury and palladium poisoning. After Willow read the document she was shocked that the thing keeping her alive was also slowly killing her. Willow was about to say something until she realized Luz was about to take off and was about to grab Amity to follow when there body's went transparent and they followed Luz as she took off
(Luz instead of Tony, the garage instead of the basement and no Jarvis/Luz is using voice commands instead)
Willow and Amity watched in childlike wonder and some amusement at Luz's antics. But that amusement soon turned to worry as the ice powered off the suit. Then that worry turned to relief when Luz managed to break the ice and power on the suit to fly out of there grazing the ocean a bit before gaining altitude.

After Amity and Willow left the memory only to be welcomed by the inner Luz "I fixed all the ones I could but there's two I couldn't fix so you have to do It, there it's a few steps on the left side of the hall" Inner Luz explained to the duo. Amity and Willow nodded and left down the hall towards the memories missing the grimace on inner Luz's face. When Amity and Willow got to the last damaged memory the nameplate was unbreedable and the canvas/ frame was bunt almost to a crisp "Let's get this over with eh Willow" Amity said trying to lighten up the ominous aura coming from the ruined memory "ya. Lets do this" Willow said with a bit of nervousness in her voice

The first thing Willow and Amity see is that there in a cave and Willow instantly frowns remembering it from Luz's story about the mark 1 and how she got her arc reactor though that sadness soon turned to curiosity as Amity seemed to recognize the cave as well " let's get looking" Willow said only to be immediately pointed to the object they needed to fix. It was the arc reactor that Luz needs to survive. After fixing it they noticed that the memory still wasn't completely healed "what do we do now?" asked willow to nobody in particular, Amity just started looking around with Willow joining soon after. five minutes later and they're still searching until Willow heard Amity let out a small scream of terror and fall back. Willow quick rushed to Amity and helped her up, after Amity calmed down a bit Willow asked a question "what scared you?".
At the question Amity just pointed to the part of the workstation with cloth draped over it. Willow cautiously moved the cloth to see what it was only to be greeted with the faceplate on an almost finished mark 1. The mark 1 was kept up by two chains attached to the solders and the helmet was looking down at Willow with the mouth and eye holes being empty/black giving an ominous look to the faceplate which slightly freaked out willow. Willow was about to leave when she seen that where the hole for the arc reactor is almost melting due to how hot it is and she touches it fixing the last broken thing and causing the memory to play. Willow rejoins Amity "It was just the mark one though I get why it scared you" willows said as she stood beside Amity to watch the memory play out due to curiosity as to if Luz exaggerated the story and were quickly proven wrong when the memory showed that Luz actually downplayed the events.
After that they left to fix the other memory with Amity looking at the newly fixed nameplate reading 'escape' and went into one that she cold barely see the words 'me vs f22 raptors' which confused Amity
-inside another memory-
Amity and Willow were instantly greeted by an image of Luz in the mark 3 suit flying in front of two f22 raptors. Willow and Amity look around and eventually find the broken part of the memory and after fixing it they watch the memory play out.
After that Willow and Amity left the memory and rung the bell to leave the mindscape.

Amity and Willow left the mindscape only to be met by Gus and Eda. Soon after Luz woke up and Gus asked her for an interview with Luz agreeing and walking off with him while answering his questions. Amity and Willow left with them as well.
