Author's Note: I had planned the last chapter to be the end of this particular story, but you wanted to see Cameron's reaction to the Chase stories as well as more reactions from the other characters so here! I own nothing! House isn't mine.
Chase
"You seem upset." Cameron stated to Chase.
"I think we're all upset." Chase replied.
"I'm actually over it already."
"Yeh, because you get House and I get- and my father looks bad. Trust me Cameron he never laid a hand on me and I wasn't spoiled either."
"I've been over House for years now. Don't worry about that. As for your family life, it's none of their business. Why are you so preoccupied about it?"
"At least you look nice in your stories. The perfect angel! While I look like kind of an ass."
"And you're bothered by that? House looks like an ass too even more so in some of these stories and he doesn't care."
"Yeh, but he never cares."
"I suppose that's right. Look don't worry so much about it."
"Cameron, I need to ask you a question and I want you to be honest."
"You may ask me anything."
"Do you still love House?"
"Of course, not. I love you."
"Cameron-"
"Look Chase, I'm with you. I wouldn't lie to you about that."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
Foreman
"Are you still hung up about being compared to House?" Thirteen asked, "You seem more uptight than usual."
"I'm not uptight!"
"Yeh, of course you're not." Thirteen said sarcastically.
"At least I don't sleep with everyone all the time!"
"That's not exactly true... sometimes."
Foreman shoke his head, "I really did get rid of those tennis shoes though."
"You shouldn't worry so much about what everyone thinks you know. You and House have a few things in common, but you're you and he's him. You are not House. Nor will you become him. Relax."
"Easy for you to say."
"To be honest, I didn't like how I was portrayed either."
"Yeh, I guess you're right."
"See? You're definitely not like House. House would never admit when someone else is right."
"No he wouldn't."
Cuddy
"Am I truly that much of a nag?" Cuddy asked Wilson.
"You kind of are. Just not as extreme as the stories protray you."
"You think I should get off House's back more often?"
"God no! He'd end up destroying the hospital! He needs the discipline."
"But people think I'm evil-"
"No you're necessary. Think how much trouble House would case if you didn't argue or yell at him from time to time. It would be anarchy."
"I suppose you're right."
Kutner and Tuab
"You think I act my age?" Kutner asked Tuab.
"Is this a joke?"
"No, I'm asking honestly."
"Sorry, but you don't." Taub answered so matter of factly that Kutner was disappointed in himself. "But it isn't a bad thing. Lots of adults act kiddish sometimes."
"But according to these people, it's all the time!"
"It kind of is but-"
"Wow, you are acting exactly like these stories suggest." Kutner said annoyed and upset.
"In what way?"
"You speak the brutal truth. Just like House."
"Foreman is way more like House than I am."
"But you're like House too."
"That's not-"
"Yes it is!"
"Look, I'm sorry for calling you a kid."
"To be fair, House would have never apologized." Kutner stated.
"True."
