it was his sister Carmine
"Kieran something happened at kitakami!" Carmine said
"what happened?" Kieran asked
"the ogre's masks are gone! And those lousy 3 were revived!" Carmine said
"What?!" Kieran said
" I went up to the ogre's den to try and find it but the lousy 3 were there looking and they couldn't find it ether so they left, I don't think they took the masks." Carmine said
"alright thanks for telling me sis." Kieran said before he hung up
"that doesn't sound good." Lincoln said
"no it isn't." Kieran said "I hope the ogre is ok."
the next day
everyone was outside waiting as professor kukui and Olivia came out of the Pokemon centre
"alola!" Professor kukui said
"alola!" Olivia said
everyone said alola back
"good we're all here." Professor kukui said
"you're field trip on akala island is having a really amazing start." Olivia said
"are we going to have a home ec class." Mallow asked
"let's not get our hopes up yet." Olivia said
"what we need is a dose of agility." Professor kukui said
soon they headed out and eventually reached a farm with a bunch of lilipup herdeir and stoutland
"wow look at all the stoutland!" Mallow said
"and look at the herdier and lilipup!" Kiawe said
"we are going to use stoutland as a ride Pokemon and go on a treasure hunt!" Olivia said
"a treasure hunt?" ash asked
"that's right the stoutland from this farm have the uncanny talent for finding buried treasure." Professor kukui said
"rare ingredients, rare stones or even Pokémon fossils." Olivia said "so get to know your stoutland and let's see how much of their searching skills you can bring out! That's your assignment and the person who finds the best treasure is the winner."
"alright you're first task is to pick a stoutland that bests suits you." Professor kukui said
Lincoln looked around and saw a stoutland that looked nice
"hey buddy I think you and I are going to get along great." Lincoln said
stoutland licked his hand and gave a happy bark
"alright then!" Lincoln said
after a little while they were off
Lincoln and stoutland (plus Wes and bloop) were looking for places treasure might be
then stoutland found a scent
"huh did you find something?" Lincoln asked
stoutland followed it and then once he found it began to dig
soon he pulled out 3 masks from the ground
"masks?" Lincoln said to himself
he then heard a rustling in the bushes
"uh hey! Do these belong to you?" Lincoln said looking for what was moving in the bushes
soon a small green pokemon wearing a mask approached
"(yea.. those are mine.)" the Pokemon said
"well then here you go." Lincoln said giving the masks back
"(Huh?!?)" the Pokemon said
"well they belong to you so they should be yours." Lincoln said
"(thank you.)" the Pokemon said
suddenly a sludge bomb came out of nowhere luckily Wes stopped it with barrier
"Hey what's the big idea!?!" Wes yelled
"(we will be taking those.)" a voice said as 3 Pokemon landed
"(for we are the loyal 3!)" the smallest pokemon said
Lincoln then remembered what Kieran had said
"over my dead body you will!" Lincoln said
"yeah! Me and my dad are gonna take you down!" Wes said
(they're fighting to protect me?) ogrepon thought to herself
"(we would like to see you try!)" the bird pokemon said
"go zeraora!" Lincoln said sending out zeraora
"(let's do this!)" zeraora said
"use plasma fists!" Lincoln said
zeraora slammed their fists on the ground causing electricity to hit the bird while Wes used psychic on the green one and shot a shadow ball at the blue one
"(It's time for us to use our full power-)" the green one began to say before all 3 of them were hit by 3 different pokeballs
the balls shook before clicking
then 3 figures landed
"alright who are you!?!" Lincoln asked
"Did someone asked something we're here to find out!" Jessie said said
"noble answers are what we're all about!" James said while throwing a rose
"the beauty so radiant the flowers and moon hide in shame a single flower of evil in this fleeting world: Jessie!" Jessie said
"the nobly heroic man of our times! The master of darkness fighting against the tragic world! It's James." James said
"it's all for one and one for all a glittering dark star that always shines bright! Dig it while Meowth takes flight!" Meowth said
"TEAM ROCKET LETS FIGHT!" Jessie and James said at the same time
"that's right!" Meowth said
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said
"Are you kidding me right now?!?" Lincoln said
"that's right!" James said two of the pokeballs "these 3 Pokémon our now ours!"
"with these 3 the boss will surely congratulate us!" Jessie said
"but first we will take your Pokémon too!" Meowth said
they sent out the loyal 3
"(oi! What's the big idea?!)" okidogi said
"(now now let's not get too angry now's our chance for payback.)" munkidori said
"(he's right let's end the ogre!)" fezandipiti said
"(I'm going to wear your spine as a belt.)" Ogerpon said
with incredible speed Ogerpon hit the loyal 3 (and team rocket) with her cudgel sending them flying
she was going to do a second attack but then bewear grabbed them and took them back to melemele
"we're off with a new blast." Team rocket said
"wow didn't see that one coming." Lincoln said as Ogerpon landed "so i guess this where we part ways?"
"(actually could i come with?)" ogrepon asked
"sure you can!" Lincoln said
"(thank you can I also ask something?)" Ogerpon asked
"sure what is it?" Lincoln asked
"(can I call you dad?)" Ogerpon asked
Lincoln was silent for a moment before saying "sure!" while thinking (that's 3 do I hear 4?)
"(yay! Thanks dad!)" Ogerpon said
"but first we gotta give you a name." Lincoln said "how does bonne sound?"
"(I like it!)" bonne said
"Yeah new sibling!" Wes said
Lincoln pulled out a pokeball which bonne went into without issues

"so can I use your masks as what I found for my treasure hunt?" Lincoln asked

later
soon it was time for the first judge
it looked kiawe was going to win
"now before I show off mine I would like to call my assistant up to help me!" Lincoln said
"let me guess wes?" Kiawe asked
"nope! Come on out bonne!" Lincoln said
he sent out bonne
"(hello!)" bonne said not wearing her mask
"huh who's that Pokémon?" Ash asked
"it's so cute!" Mallow said
(no it couldn't be...) Kieran thought to himself
"now bonne if you would!" Lincoln said as bonne pulled of the tarp revealing its 3 masks
"huh did you get those at a store?" kiawe asked
"It- It can't be!" Kieran said causing everyone to look at him "how did you gain the ogre's trust!?!"
everyone remembered what Kieran had said about the ogre
"I helped it by saving it from the "lousy" 3 but..." Lincoln said
"but what?" Mallow asked
"team rocket took advantage of the opportunity and caught them." Lincoln said
"so they have the 3?" Kiawe asked
"yea..." Lincoln said
"don't worry they won't be able to stop us dad!" Wes said
"well then for such an amazing discovery I have to give Lincoln 500 points!" Olivia said causing kiawe to almost fall over from shock
Lincoln was about to get on stoutland for next treasure hunt when Kieran approached him
"why did you do it? Why did you catch them?" Kieran asked
"because she asked me too." Lincoln said "and then immediately after asked me if she could call me dad."
that caught Kieran off guard "huh!?" Kieran said
"yea I know it was your dream to befriend her but I can't change her mind and besides you will still get to see her we're roommates after all."
Kieran was silent for a moment before saying "Just promise something will?"
"uh sure?" Lincoln said
"that after school is done you will bring Ogerpon to kitakami every once in a while." Kieran said
"of course I will buddy!" Lincoln said
and with that round two began
stoutland kept on sniffing for treasure when he got a scent
"did you find something?" Lincoln asked
stoutland went to where the smell was coming from and began to dig pulling out a box and a bottle of some kind
"I wonder what's in here?" Lincoln said as he opened the box
suddenly a wisp shot out of the box
"yes! Hoopa is free!" A child like voice said
(why do I get the feeling this will add to my Christmas budget?) Lincoln thought to himself
when the smoke cleared there was a small gold pokemon with red eyes horns with 3 rings on it's body two on it's horns one around it's waist
"did you free hoopa?" The Pokemon presumably named hoopa asked Lincoln
"uh yes?" Lincoln said " my name is Lincoln."
"linkhan has freed hoopa!" Hoopa said excitedly
"wow dad! They're like a genie!" Wes said
" I thought your name was linkhan?" Hoopa asked Lincoln confused
"well he's my dad so I call him dad." Wes explained
"what's a dad?" Hoopa asked while tilting its head
after explaining what a dad was to hoopa it got an idea
"then if that's what a dad is then you're hoopa's dad!" Hoopa said while pointing at Lincoln
Lincoln was silent for a moment before putting his face into stoutland's fur and yelling "It's so cute!"
after that Lincoln said "sure!" While thinking (DO I HEAR 5?!?)
so Lincoln got a pokeball for hoopa and it went inside
Lincoln didn't bother giving hoopa a nickname due to it constantly referring itself in the third person
after Lincoln hoopa out of the ball Lincoln decided to ask about the bottle
"so what's in it?" Lincoln asked
"hoopa's true power!" Hoopa responded "hoopa wanted in the bottle so it didn't cause hoopa to lose it later."
"well then let's see it!" Wes said as he grabbed the bottle and opened it
suddenly a wave of shadow engulfed hoopa as it transformed into its true form
"YES YES HOOPA IS MAGNIFICENT!" Hoopa yelled
"THAT IS SO COOL!" Wes yelled
after transforming hoopa back they decided to head back
but on the way there stoutland smelt something and began digging
while stoutland was digging hoopa found something
"dad! Look what hoopa found!" Hoopa was holding an white egg
"huh did you see any Pokémon around it?" Lincoln asked
"Nope!" Hoopa said
"well alright then." Lincoln said as he put the egg is his bag
the stoutland stopped digging and gave Lincoln what it found
at was a rainbow gem that kinda looked like a marble
"huh I guess I'll tuck that away for later." Lincoln said putting it in his pocket
then the bell rang
"well time to head back." Lincoln said
soon it was time for them to be judged
Lana found some Z ring ore which looked like she was going to win with 500 points
"now Lincoln let's see what you got-" Olivia said as she was about to pull off the tarp when hoopa beat her to it
"Were you surprised?" Hoopa asked
"Hoopa?!?" Ash said
"HOW?!?" Rotom dex asked while taking pictures
"hoopa the mischief Pokemon a ghost and psychic type It is said to be able to seize anything it desires with its six rings and six huge arms. With its power sealed, it is transformed into a much smaller form."
"so that must be its smaller form!" Lillie said
"what is that?" Olivia asked referring to the prison bottle
"well allow me to show you!" Lincoln said as he opened the bottle and pointed at hoopa
hoopa transformed into its unbound form
"WERE YOU SURPRISED?" Hoopa asked
"Yes very!" Mallow said
Lincoln sealed hoopa's power back up again
"hehe dad! Hoopa surprised them!" Hoopa said to Lincoln
"HUH?!?" Mallow and ash said
"oh right we're are now parents of 4." Lincoln said
"wait 4?" Mallow asked before doing the math in her head "wait bonne calls you dad too?!?"
"yup!" Lincoln said
later that night
bonne couldn't sleep
she kept on thinking about how she was the only one that only Lincoln could understand
then she noticed a dictionary on a shelf
(if a Meowth can learn human language then I can too!) bonne thought to herself as she began to read it
the next morning
Lincoln ash and mallow got up to get some breakfast
there they saw bonne reading a book
"morning bonne how's my daughter today?" Lincoln asked before taking a drink of water
"good dad!" Bonne said in plain English
this caused Lincoln to spit out his drink
