Read and relax

Ace walked towards the hideout, feeling extremely nervous. The plan was now in motion, it had been set in motion a bit ago, so no matter what Azuruko said, it couldn't be undone. Sabo had taken a few words with Dragon in private after telling the plan and setting it in motion as Dragon requested it. It was maybe something not for his ears about the Revolutionary Army. Sabo moved a hand to be over his shoulder. "It will be okay. This is the best plan possible I feel like." They didn't need to worry too much about being seen as it was dark outside now.

Ace nodded, taking a breath. "Yes, but if it fails. Everyone dies. All the loved ones collateral dies, and I will be the one responsible for all these innocent lives, for the ones who took me in loved ones to die." Sabo gave a breath and gave him a hug. "I know. But this can't go on. This is no life. Not only for you, but for the future victims. Someone needs to take a stand, and you did." Ace nodded and hugged Sabo back, he needed someone to help him feel courageous.

When they got to the hideout, they walked in, and Sabo looked at him. "No code?" Ace shook his head. "The code is no code. If we say the code, something is wrong." Sabo nodded. "Smart." They then walked in and Ace could see the ones they passed, giving him and Sabo looks. He brought in an outsider, and that was rule 1. He hoped this wasn't a mistake.

They found Azuruko in his room, giving a look to Sabo, before him. "Ace, what is he doing here?" Ace took a breath for courage. "Please don't freak out or be mad." Azuruko sat more up. "What did you do?" Ace took a breath. "I set in motion a plan with the help of the Revolutionary Army." Azuruko blinked. "Stop the plan, now." Ace shook his head. "No, it's too late. It is set in motion." Ace then moved a hand to Sabo, who handed over the pictures of everyone collateral being safe, and with them in the background was the mark to the Revolutionary Army and today's newspaper. When Azuruko got to his collateral, his wife and daughter, he moved a hand to sort of caress their heads. "They've grown so much."

Ace made sure to stand still as Azuruko took in the picture, of the almost 5 years he had missed, never seeing them for years. Sabo also stood still, which was good. After some minutes, Azuruko took a breath, before he put the pictures down. "They either have noticed everyone being taken by the Revolutionary Army already or they will soon. So, who is this, Ace?" Ace took a breath, before he told who Sabo was, before Sabo took over and told about what he remembered. When he had, Ace looked at Azuruko. "He is a wild card. If the ones responsible for this mark knew about Sabo, he would have been a collateral as well." Azuruko nodded, seeming to get it.

Azuruko then took a breath and motioned for them to sit down, before he looked at them. "Tell me the plan." Ace nodded, before he did, telling it the way Dragon had done, and not only did some of the Revolutionary Army help this, they had the leader of the army help as well. When they were done, Azuruko nodded and seemed to take it in. "So, decoys. What if they figure out they are decoys of everyone's collateral?" Sabo gave a breath. "They might, but we used the ones of us that are closest in appearances, called in favors and help. Each of these decoys knows the plan to some extent. They know they need to extract information and to act dumb. They do not know they are up against the one responsible for the Grinning Rats, or even connected to you. Just Ace, Dragon, and I know that. And now you. We hope that they will slip up, as we have asked the decoys to ask why they have been taken, hopefully we get enough evidence as proof before they figure it out."

Azuruko nodded and gave a breath. "The plan is in motion, I can't stop it now. I just hope it works. If it does not work," Azuruko looked at him and Ace took a breath, prepared to be told that if it didn't work, Ace would die by Azuruko's hand. Azuruko continued. "We will still keep together. We have no one but us. If it does not work, we still need to help future victims. But there might be some who want to take their life, they no longer have a collateral to stay alive to keep safe. I know that that is the main reason many hold on, also yours." Ace nodded and felt like he wanted to cry. Not only since even if this failed, Azuruko would still let him stay, but that he had almost killed himself. Sabo seemed to get this as well and moved to take his hand. "Same with me." Sabo looked at Azuruko. "Should this fail, you all will have a place with the Revolutionary Army." Azuruko nodded. "That is good. How long until you think they will notice?" Sabo hummed and moved and held out a folded parchment to Azuruko, which he took.

As Azuruko unfolded it, Sabo spoke. "As you can see, this is what Dragon thinks in the sense of when they will notice it. In case he is wrong, he asked for it to be burned after you've read it." Azuruko nodded and read it carefully, before he looked at Sabo, who nodded. Azuruko nodded as well and moved to stand and moved to the fireplace, where he used a lighter to burn the note and put it in the fireplace and watched it burn. He got this might be sensitive information, as maybe Dragon researched some and got something that they didn't want to get out in the sense of what the ones who got everyone to safety had seen. Everyone's collateral was being watched, and maybe the ones who had gotten the collateral saw a pattern or something, and this was something that shouldn't be shared to keep it low.

Azuruko came back and looked at them. "I think the right thing to do now, is to tell everyone about this. Let us add a bit of time to when they would notice this, so let us say tomorrow night. It would be right for everyone to see their loved ones being safe in the picture, and we will keep everyone updated on how this goes. No one leaves the base after I have told everyone about this." Azuruko looked at Sabo. "That also goes for you, Sabo." Sabo nodded. "I have what I need with me, as in the sense of a Den Den to Dragon. I will not leave." Azuruko nodded. "I will tell Daisuke to lock the door and barricade it. Nobody leaves." Ace nodded, he was okay with this.

They then went out of the room and gathered everyone, and Azuruko said that a plan had now been set in motion. He then went over the plan, not in great detail, but that everyone's loved one was safe, and they had what they needed to prove it, and let everyone get the image of their loved ones. Then Azuruko said they all had decoys to get information out of the ones responsible for this mark, to hopefully clear their names. But it might not work.

While it was a long shot, this was the best plan. When Daisuke asked who did this, who made and set in motion this plan, Ace was about to take a step forward, when Azuruko spoke. "I did. But I got the help of Ace and his brother. Ace's brother is the main one in this to get information as he was last taken and would be the most carefully watched. And no one was allowed to leave, and sent Daisuke to close and seal the door for now. When it was done, Azuruko said he would keep them all updated, and to go with the plan.

Everyone seemed confused, but there was nothing they could do now to stop this. This hideout was the safest place for them right now, and everyone got it. Ace just hoped he didn't just doom everyone.

Lilith paced in her office as she felt furious. How dare someone approach her precious unknowing victims! It got back that this was the work of the Revolutionary Army, and that couldn't be a coincidence. She knew the Revolutionary Army had for a while had a thought something was up with her little fun game. But no one had done anything as no one dared to speak the truth since their little loved ones would die. All sappy. Lilith hated all that sappy crap people spoke off. 'Oh, I love my family! I love my child!' Stupid shit.

She had created the game 5 years ago, as she wanted to see people suffer, to see the real world, everyone's true colors. No one loves you. No one would hesitate to stab you in the back. And she made sure to join in each and everyone's start. To slowly and brutally kill people they cared about while they watched, then frame them for it, and use the most precious person to them as collateral. so even then, their suffering wouldn't end. It had started as a thing to show how fast people would turn. But it had brought a strong pleasure inside her. She loved to not only see how the person who they framed took it, to hear their screams as the ones they cared about were murdered, and then to know they could never clear their name, to go on as an outcast, hated by all. Branded by her. That's why she chose innocent ones, they screamed the best. Lilith closed her eyes as she gave a small moan. She loved it when she knew people were suffering.

She opened her eyes when she heard someone knock at her door. "What!" She barked out, and it opened to show Ryder. "We got that kid, boss!" Lilith nodded and walked out and to the small prison they had. She needed to know what was going on. She was still looking for her next victim, but she was also close to the last victim's precious little brother. So when she was told that earlier today, the Revolutionary Army spoke with him? No, she did not believe in coincidences. And God had that kid, Portgas D Ace, scream so beautifully. Not only when his so-called brothers were killed, but when they burned the mark off his back. They put him in seastone and did it, before they marked him and told him about her little play. Lilith never spoke, to keep herself out as the leader of all this. Then they had taken off the chains so it would heal. Acey's little powers were fire, so it would look like he burned his own mark away, and that he didn't burn away her little mark. And it hadn't taken long before the Whitebeards turned their back on him. Little Acey was all alone. Oh no, poor him. Lilith gave a small chuckle inside herself as she thought that.

But now, who would approach his little brother, Luffy? Acey knew little Lu would die if he tried to reach out. Well, if Acey screamed so sweet, little Luffy would too. Maybe she should lower the age of the ones she framed? It seemed the younger they were, the sweeter the screams. She had at first, thought the screams to small animals was sweet when she was younger, the reason she killed small animals that could scream. Like cats, dogs, squirrels, birds, and so on. But then, she had witnessed a fire where a woman had watched her sister be burned alive, and that scream was so beautiful. Since then, she longed to hear it again. She had started a few fires, but it was hard to ensure only one or two got out.

So, she did her absolute best to get high in the ranks of the marines, and she managed. Not only that, she said that if they wanted her to work for them, she was allowed to roam and do her thing. Either that, or she would be a pirate. And Lilith was good, so they wanted her on their side very badly. And she made sure to hire her 'crew' carefully. Everyone in her crew knew what she did and loved it. And they were a bit everywhere, to help keep her skin safe. And Lilith loved it. She could pursue her darkest desire, and no one knew it was her. She was an innocent woman who tried her best in a man's business. She was good at playing the innocent ones. And the few times a marine had maybe started to doubt her a bit, they suddenly joined the Grinning Rats, how terrible! So, the marines hated the Grinning Rats with a passion, they killed their own and basked in it so they could join the rats. Ah, how Lilith enjoyed her life.

When she got to the prison, little Luffy was chained to a chair and was unconscious. They couldn't afford he might escape and share that they had taken her, and that wouldn't go. She couldn't jeopardize her reputation. They had used a bit of time to find the brat, but had after some hours. He was acting a bit off, seeming to be sketchy. He had to know something. He looked at Joel. "How did it go? Where was he?" Joel nodded. "He was in the forest, seeming to train. We got him before he saw us. Knocked him out and drugged him. He was alone." Lilith nodded and moved to the kid tied in the chair. Now they just needed to interrogate him. And no matter what he said, he would die a slow death. Lilith's mouth almost started to water at the thought of this one's sweet screams.

She walked over to him and moved to lift his head by his hair to look at his face. She had learned that the more innocent they looked, the sweeter the screams. Although, it would be easier to see once he was awake, as the soul was visible through the eyes. Some did look sweet in the face, but their eyes showed their true colors. Like Lilith. She looked kind and caring, but in reality, she was a devil in disguise. She wanted to watch the world burn, not to destroy it, but to hear and see the pain the others felt.

As she lifted the head to prepare, she blinked, before she let it go as it moved down in its unconscious position, before she moved closer to Ryder and Joel, the ones who got this kid, and looked at them. "Who got him? Who gave the call to bring him in?" Both blinked, before Ryder started to speak. "I did, why do-" Ryder didn't get to finish as Lilith quickly moved her leg to kick Ryder's knee, making him scream out in pain as he fell down as his knee gave out. When he was down, Lilith moved her hand to his hair as she tugged at it so much he screamed again. "Who is that kid!" Ryder used a few seconds to find his voice. "It is Luffy, Portgas' brother, we fo-" Lilith used her other hand to slap him hard, before she walked and grabbed the picture they had off little Luffy, before she moved to the tied up kid and used one hand to lift his head by the hair, and the other to show the picture.

Ryder had his eyes closed as he groaned, but Lilith barked out "look at me!" Which Ryder did, and Lilith spoke. "This kid, where is the scar under his eye?" Ryder spoke as he groaned in pain. "Under his left eye." Lilith nodded. "Now, look at the picture we have of him. Which eye is it under?" Ryder looked at it, before he blinked and looked pleading at her. "I didn't know! I was sure it was hi-" Lilith growled out. "Tell me which eye the scar is under." Ryder swallowed. "Right eye." Lilith let go of this imposter's hair and moved over to Ryder, who looked scared. "Boss, I didn't know! Please! I will never disappoint you again! I have been with you since you started." Lilith moved over to Ryder and gave small shushing sounds as she gave a smile and crouched down. "Don't worry, I won't kill you." Ryder gave a breath, glad he got to live.

"But," Started Lilith, before she moved her hand to caress Ryder's cheek. "But if you ever disappoint me again, you will be blind for real, not just half blind." Ryder blinked. "My sight is fine-" Ryder didn't get to finish as Lilith had moved her right hand to sort of cup his right cheek, before she moved her thumb into his eye slowly but surely, making him scream out as his eyeball got crushed inside his skull as blood and eye juices started to go down his face. When she had pushed the eyeball into its socket, she moved it down, so it wouldn't just pop back out and he would always feel the eyeball there. And she would tell everyone here to not help him, and when the ones out of her crew saw this, he would lie and tell it was someone they met and tried to apprehend.

Lilith stood up and looked at Ryder, who fell down and moved his hands to his eye as he screamed. Lilith took it in, before she looked at Joel. "Find the real one! The fucking Revolutionary Army switched him out with a decoy! They know!" Joel nodded and ran out, before she looked down at Ryder. "Get out of my sight." Ryder nodded and got up and slowly limped out. When they were out, she tried to take a deep breath, but it didn't work so she let out a scream. Damn if all her hard work would be for nothing! She wouldn't go down now! She was enjoying it too much. She then told more to help the search, and to tell the locals that brat was wanted for working with the Revolutionary Army, which would make most rat him out. Lilith gave a small chuckle. Rats, they were all rats. Everyone stabbed everyone in the back.

She then moved and waited by the entrance to her little place. She had hundreds of hideouts everywhere. And the marines knew about them. They all looked like a normal small place for her to be, but in reality, they had hidden rooms or basements where she had her fun. Same with her boats. She had a few hidden rooms, or rooms that looked like a boring store room at first glance, but walk in and move some fake crates, her own hidden torture rooms that were basically soundproof and had no windows. It was very nice. It helped to act all innocent and to be doing her best and was very kind, but she was a heartless bitch, and she knew it very well and embraced her darkness, and she liked the darkness, she liked to cause pain. It felt so good inside her.

After some hours, Joel came back with a small group and had a new kid with them. She stopped them there and checked the kid out, this time also opening an eye to see that it was the right eye color, which it was. The scar was in the right place. She looked at Joel. "Where was he?" Joel nodded. "He was in a house that was supposed to be abandoned by the cliff. A man saw a group from the Revolutionary Army bring him there. They had small hidden strings that made sound. He was hidden in a hidden small wine cellar in the kitchen under a rug. No one was there now, beside him." Lilith nodded, that added up. They tried to hide him and wouldn't want to cause suspicion to the house the kid was in and left him, and told that if he heard a sound, to hide in the hidden cellar. Oh, the Revolutionary Army thought they were smart? Lilith was smarter. Everyone stabbed everyone in the back.

She told them to put him in the room next to his decoy, and be sure it was the room to the right of it as it had a window that could be used. Joel nodded and went to put him there. She then got the ones she knew had no issues torturing a small innocent kid. Well, they all could, but some more than others. When it was all in place, she moved to sit and look at the rooms, already getting excited about what would happen. Not only did she have one little kid to torture, she had two.

As she was waiting, Dolus came up to her. "Boss, we got news from our rat! They have switched out collateral with decoys!" Lilith snorted and looked at Dolus. "Tell him he is useless. I already know and I have the decoy, and the real one. Now leave and be quiet." Dolus blinked. "But boss, it-" Lilith moved and grabbed Dolus by his neck. "I said leave and be quiet." Dolus nodded and left. Then Lilith waited.

It was a bit later that the decoy woke up, and he didn't seem surprised to be here, which would have made her react. It was shortly after that the real one started to come around. As that was all good, she walked into the decoy's room, and the decoy looked at her. "Where am I… Who are you? I am looking for my brother…" Lilith hummed. "No. Who are you?" The decoy blinked and tried to act innocent like a little kid. "I am Luffy. Who are you?" Lilith hummed and moved over to a wall. "If you are Luffy, explain this?" She said as she moved some blinds up and gave a view into the room where the real kid was.

The decoy blinked, speaking in a deeper voice. "Don't hurt him. He had nothing to do with this. How did you know?" Lilith nodded and gave a hum as she walked over to be behind him, moving her hands to be on his shoulder. "The scar is under the wrong eye. If you tell me your name, I might go easy on you." The decoy nodded. "I am Al, Ias Al, the Revolutionary Army hired me to play decoy while they got Luffy to safety. Don't hurt him, he is innocent." Lilith hummed. "Tell me the plan." All nodded. "I was told to get you to tell who you are and why, I have a recorder with me, it's in my pocket." Lilith hummed and moved a hand and found it, and dropped it so she could stop on it, before she looked at Al. "Ah, human nature. So quick to save your own skin. Now you, sit tight." She then left, and Al gave a relieved breath, but the fun had just started.

She then walked into the room with the real kid, who was slowly starting to come to. She did send Tom into the room with Al, to be ready. The thing with this room the real kid was in, you could hear the sounds from the room Al was in, but he couldn't hear this room. When she walked in, the kid lifted his head and looked confused. "Where am I? Are you an angel?" Lilith smiled, this fit more with how she felt the kid was. A dumb kid. Lilith shook her head. "No, sweetie, almost. I am from further down." The kid blinked, his voice sounding not as confused as he was more awake. "Are you from the floor? A floor angel and not a sky angel?" Yep, this was the real deal.

Lilith moved over to the kid and crouched down. "No, I am an underground angel. Where is your brother? Do you know?" The kid blinked. "I am looking for him too. Have you seen him? I was told he was in danger, and I need to help him." Lilith gave a compassionate look. "No, dear. Your brother is not in danger." The kid blinked, before he looked relieved. "So he is safe? I haven't seen him in a while, since he set out." Lilith looked at the kid caringly. "He is safe, but, you are not." The kid blinked. "What? You are an angel? Angels are kind." Lilith smiled. "I can be, if you tell me what the Revolutionary Army told you when they spoke with you earlier? Why were you in the house?"

The kind blinked. "I was playing hide and seek. I think I was winning. They weren't very good." Lilith hummed. "What did the ones who wanted to play say?" The kid gave an unsure sound. "I wasn't allowed to tell." The kid looked at his binds. "Why am I tied to a chair? You aren't a very good angel." Lilith moved a hand to the kid's face so he looked at her. "One more try. What did the ones tell you?" The kid blinked, mumbling. "I wasn't allowed to say…" Lilith hummed. "Want to know why I am a bad angel?" The kid blinked. "Are you new? If you are, angels are kind and give people food and heal wounds!" Lilith smiled. This one's screams would be perfect. He was so very innocent. "No. I am not new, that's the thing. I am too old." The kid blinked. "You don't look old?" Lilith hummed. "No. You see, I am a black angel. A demon. So, why don't you tell me what you were told?"

The kid blinked. "But demons are bad people." Lilith nodded. "Yes, so you need to tell me what you know. Okay? Or else you can see what a demon does." The kid blinked. "I am not allowed to tell. Why are you a demon? Why not be nice?" Lilith smiled. "Because I like being evil." She then moved the kid's head to look into the other room, where Al was. "See that person? He pretended to be you. So you would be safe. He tried to keep you safe." The kid blinked. "That's nice of him… Why did he do that?" Lilith hummed. "Easy. Your brother didn't follow the rules. So now, tell me what you were told?" The kid blinked and looked at her. "You know where he is! Where is he! He needs help! Ace is bad at rules. Were they easy? Ace can be silly." Lilith smiled, this would be so fun.

Lilith looked at The kid. "The rules were to never speak the truth about what I did to him and his little family. And he didn't follow them, and that put you in danger, not him. I am done with him. But he didn't follow it, even after I explained the rules. That if he ever told the truth about my little mark and game, or tried to speak with you, you would die." The kid blinked, some fear shining in his eyes. "What game? I didn't know this was a game? How can I win?" Lilith smiled. "Easy. You can't. You already lost. Look at your little twin, he also did nothing but to try and keep you safe." She moved the kid's head to look at Al. "But that was against the rules. And Ace sent him, so until you talk, I will do this." Lilith moved the hand which didn't hold the kid's face facing Al, so Tom moved the chair Al was in so he faced them, before he released one of Al's hands, moved it up, and snapped a finger, the snap sounding first, before the scream.

As it was sounded, the kid she held the face towards started to fight. "No! He didn't do anything!" Lilith hummed. "So, if you want him to not be hurt more, tell me what you were told." The kid breathed hard. "I am not allowed to tell!" Lilith hummed. "Wrong answer." She said as she made a motion, and another finger was snapped, before a scream, but as soon as the finger was snapped, one more was snapped. As the scream continued, the kid she held started to fight and cry. "Don't hurt him! Why are you doing this!" Lilith hummed. "You see. I don't like to lose. And I like to cause pain. That's why I created the Grinning Rats." The kid cried more when another finger of Al was broken. "I don't know what that is! Don't hurt him!"

Lilith gave a small aww. "You don't know? You don't read the news?" The kid cried as he shook his head, and Lilith hummed. "It is a game. I get to kill and frame people, so they suffer. And if they try to say the truth about me and my little game, you die. Everyone has at least one they keep safe, and you are Ace's. But, he broke the rules." Another two fingers were broken, Tom now having moved to the other hand, making Al scream again, but not as high as he had as he was in a lot of pain. The kid cried more. "Stop it! You're a marine! You need to help! Marines are kind!" Lilith hummed. "No, dear. I am not a marine. I needed a cover. They are a bunch of stupid idiots who don't know what I do. I don't want to help make the world better, I want to watch it burn and listen to people scream. I am simply using them. You see, that little decoy there was out so I would tell this to him and he could save your brother. But he failed as well. So now," Lilith moved her hand, which made Tom move and close the blinds to the room, before Al screamed more, before she cut cut the sound by pressing a button she had. To sort of hint that Al was dead, but Lilith wanted to have more fun with him as well. Now, it was this kid's time.

She let go of his face, and the kid looked scared and terrified, shaking as he cried, and Lilith looked at him. "Now, which hand do you usually use? You know, to write and such?" The kid shook his head, but she did see him do something with his left hand, signaling that was his dominant one. Lilith held up her left hand. "Hey, we are lefties! I am also left handed! So, what do you want to lose? Your left arm, or right arm?" The kid looked scared as he started to sob. "Please don't do this! I don't like this game! I don't want to play this!" Lilith shook her head. "Tut tut, that wasn't my question. And you have no choice, just like your brother. I am the ringmaster, I do this a lot. It is funny, I think my parents knew, that's why they tried to kill me and named me Lilith. You know how it was at the start? Adam and Lilith were happy, but Lilith wanted more and ate the apple that sent them out of paradise and Heaven. That's why Lilith means 'demon' and 'belonging to the night'. I was the first demon, the worst demon. I took away Heaven and created Hell, and you know what?" Lilith smiled at the kid. "I like that, I want to create Hell for everyone that breaks the rules."

The kid started to cry and sob more. Lilith moved a hand to stroke his cheek. "No, hush now. Spare your tears and crying. The fun hasn't started yet. Now, I will ask my good friend from the other room to get me a few things, and the fun will begin." The kid looked more scared and started to fight, but it was no use, he was trapped. Lilith walked over to the door and asked for her kit, which Tom was ready with and came into the room with her.

The kid got more scared at that, and Tom spoke. "What is your plans?" Lilith hummed as she moved and took out a saw. "Easy. I will take his left hand, cut it off slowly. Before I take his right eye." Lilith moved over to the kid. "You see, I want to take away your dominant hand, so the one you don't use is left. And then your right eye, so it is harder for you to see your right hand that is left. And the one to blame for all of this, is your dear brother Ace, since he didn't follow the rules I set. He was very naughty, so he is the reason this is happening to you." The kid tried to fight more, but it was no use, she had done this so many times. She was very good at this. She moved the saw up and smiled at the kid. "Are you ready, Luffy? I won't lie, this will hurt."

The kid looked terrified and started to scream and sob, but it was all just music to her ears. The Revolutionary Army thought they could trick her? No, they would not. As soon as she was done here, she would head to the other collateral and have her fun. No one broke the rules.

Lilith moved to be in front of the kid, moving a hand to grab his left hand that the kid was trying to get lose so she could hold it still, before she moved the saw, so it was barely touching his wrist, already making a small trickle of blood go down his skin, before she looked at the kid with a smile. "Ready? If not, here we go."

And that's the chapter! And yes! I know I am evil!

For the Lilith thing, in Jewish mythology, it was Lilith and Adam, not Adam and Eve so I used that
