Across the battlefield of countless gems clashing their weapons against each other, within the chaos of it all, a gem rebel finds herself stricken in her gem by a blade covered in yellow static energy, the offender being Citrine as she held the handle in her hands while spearing the enemy through her gem with the blade; Citrine's yellow eyes lit up as she finished her enemy off by exploding the rebel's body from the gem outswards, before allowing the shattered gem shards to clatter to the ground.
"Noo! Cherry!" A Briggs Jasper yelled in despair as she fought against an Orange Pearl, her attention was taken when she saw her fellow rebel gem get pierce through her gem, and shatter without remorse by the Citrine gem, "I'll make you pay for that!" She yelled as she pushed away from the Orange Pearl that was blocking her weapon with a shield, and made a charged effort toward Citrine with her weapon raised above her head.
Citrine's impassive face glanced her way with one of wariness, only to be replaced with satisfaction when the Briggs Jasper found a spear lodged through her stomach, causing her to turn her head and see that the Orange Pearl she had pushed away, had gotten back and thrown her spear into her torso before she could attack the Citrine gem.
With a sudden poof of the Brigg Jasper's body, her gem clattered to the ground while Orange Pearl quickly pulled out another spear from her gem on her chest as she blocked an incoming strike from a Tiger's Eye rebel gem with her shield while the other gem used her bare fist to strike at the Homeworld Allied Pearl gem.
Glancing at the Briggs jasper gem that was still on the ground, Citrine moved to stomp and shatter it, only to catch herself from moving any further and leap back away from an incoming overarching swing of a pink sword; landing from her leap, Citrine held her War knife up defensively as she faced down Rose Quartz.
The leader of the rebellion had finally shown up, and was giving Citrine the most heated glare and snarl she had received thus far, "You!" Rose yelled out in anger, as the two squared off amongst the ongoing chaos of war, "I won't forgive you for shattering my friends!" she yelled as she rushed at citrine with a more rounded defense charge with her shield and blade in hand.
"Did you honestly believe it wouldn't come to this sort of end for them!" Citrine yelled back with an annoyed scowl at the naivete of the insult thrown at her, the two finally collided with Citrine's Kreigmesser struck into Rose's sword, before evading Rose's strike from her blade by swinging her sword over to parry the blade aside.
As Rose Quartz leapt at Citrine with an overhead strike of her pink sword, the commander brought the flat of her blade up while holding the handle and palming the other end to withstand the blow and deflect it aside along with Rose as well.
Both combatants squared off once again as Citrine held her weapon up in a defensive manner, while Rose had her shield and sword ready for the next trade of blows. "I won't let homeworld or even Pink Diamond marr this world any longer, nor will I allow the awful oppression of the common gem to be sustained any longer, the time for change is now!" she yelled back with a look of resolution in her eyes, before rushing at Citrine with her shield up defensively, and her sword held in a ready strike as she charged.
Citrine met Rose halfway as she attempted to flip over the Rose Quartz rebel leader and strike at the head of the gem, only to be met with a well timed block by Rose by her shield; once Citrine landed behind Rose, she swiftly attempted to follow up her attack with a thrust of her war knife into Rose's exposed back, only to be blocked by the rogue pearl and her spear.
The Rogue Pearl had supposedly leapt over to land behind Rose and guard her exposed back, and block Citrine's attack finishing blow with the stick of her spear; the tip of Citrine's war knife clanged as her blade struck against the Pearl's weapon before she retracted her weapon to quickly swing her Kreigmesser down with brute force, "Out of the way!" Tanya scowled in anger at the missed opportunity to end the war then and there.
"Never!" The Rogue Pearl yelled back as she went to block the attack, only to be pushed aside by Rose as the rebel leader placed her shield in the way of Citrine's blade that exploded on contact with yellow static; the shield Rose had was able to absorb the brunt of the yellow static attack with ease, to which caused Citrine's eyes to narrow into a scrutinizing gaze.
"Rose!" Pearl yelled out in worry, before quickly acting as Orange Pearl finally entered the fray between the three after dispatching her earlier opponent, now making it an essentially two on two match amid the chaos of gems around them.
"Get out of my Citrine's way you defunct Pearl!" Orange Pearl angrily shouted as she leapt from out of the air with a downward strike of her spear where Pearl stood, who on reflex dove out of the way.
Citrine on the other hand found an opening in the rogue Pearl's defenses, and broke off from the clash she had with Rose and swung her blade in the pearl's direction; from out of the tip of her blade, an arc of yellow static energy flew at the pearl.
"Pearl! Watch out!" Rose yelled out in worry as she threw her shield into the path of the static arc energy, to which the attack and shield collided into a mild explosion of yellow and pink energy; while citrine's energy attack dissipated into the air, Rose's energy shield fell to the ground before finally dissipating away; While Rose had disarmed herself of a shield for the time being, Citrine took her chance to rush in at the rebel leader with her Kreigmesser poised in a thrust attack.
Rose was quick to act as she stepped back and used her sword to swing and parry the thrust aside, before having to block with the flat of her blade from an upper handed swing of Citrine's war knife; Rose was force to put more effort than she was normally comfortable with as she pressed down against Citrine's upward swing attack of her Kriegmesser. Both gems began to struggle against the other for dominance, before Citrine flashed a smirk and released her blade from her hands.
"!" Rose found herself stumbling forward from the sudden shift in what Citrine was doing as the commander stepped aside the downward strike of Rose's sword while her war knife found itself fallen to the ground, the commander brought her arms in and thrusted her palms out with gloved hands now covered in yellow energy.
As fast as Rose could react, she brought her arm up and projected a new shield up to blocked the palm thrust by Citrine, a loud displacement of static energy exploded between the two; While Rose's eyes were momentarily closed from the sudden brightness of the yellow light emitted by Citrine's attack, she opened them back up quickly to find Citrine diving for her blade and grabbing it before swinging at her lower legs under her dress while crouched down on her hand and knee.
"No!" The Rogue pearl bellowed out in worry as she finally got out of the brief conflict she had with Orange Pearl, and leapt over to make a downward thrust into the ground to block the incoming swing of Citrine's blade at Rose's feet.
From behind Rose however, Orange Pearl ran up with her spear and shield raised and thrusted her spear at Rose's exposed back.
"Not so fast, Homeworld scum!" Bismuth yelled as she finally made it through the chaos of the battlefield, and transformed her arm into a hammer to knock the pearl out of the way from charging any closer at rose.
"!" Orange Pearl gasped in shock, before quickly bringing her shield up to block the blow; with a loud thwack, Orange Pearl found herself sent flying back, only to be caught by Citrine who had gotten back up and leapt over to catch her from getting thrown out of the fray of battle.
Landing back down to place Orange Pearl beside her, Citrine and her Pearl squared off against what seemed now a two against three. "Bismuth!" the rogue Pearl shouted with a gratifying smile as she, Rose and Bismuth squared off against Citrine and Orange Pearl.
"Figured I'd make it my Bismuth to butt in on this fight." Bismuth joked as she transformed her hammer hand into a blade next.
From out of the chaotic crowd of gems, Jasper landed from tackling a rebel amethyst gem to the ground, and poofing her with her helmet; as the Jasper gem stood back up she gave a nod of respect to Citrine before giving Rose a sneer of distaste.
With Jasper now among them all, it was an even split of combatants; after a few tense moments, the three gems charged back into fray against each other.

Homeworld, White Palace
Marching through the shining white hallways of her Diamond's palace, Nosean headed towards the personal throne room of White Diamond; as the one of the oldest gem generals created during the early years of her Diamond Empress's Ascendancy, Nosean could count herself one of the few gems that has known White Diamond long before any other the other Diamonds came into existence.
While Nosean continued to march through the hallways with purpose in her steps, she passed through a hallway with archway openings to the outside; Her Diamond's Head and torso ship not far from the White Palace itself. As the white gem general continued to walk, she eventually made it through enough hallways to reach the throne room where she hoped she'd be granted an audience with her Diamond.
Standing not far beside the large doorway, were two Herkimer Quartz soldiers, one of the oldest line of Quartz gems that have been in existence. 'But for how long though?' Nosean thought to herself as she approached the doorway. The diamond Authority and its empire of gems could only last for so long with its current tech and gem lines, sooner or later, everything and every gem would be outdated…including her, as much as she hated the thought.
Just as she was almost within enough reach of the doorway, a large gray bubble emerged from out of the floor before her; the gray bubble, once it finished emerging out of the ground, opened up seamlessly with an ever smiling gray and white pearl with her arm and palms held up in an ever stiff pose.
"Oh hello, Nosean." The gray and white white pearl greets the gems with an ever present bright smile and exuberant expression, save for a spider crack over one of her eyes, "I don't recall you ever scheduling a meeting with me." the pearl remarks with a stiff smile.
Nosean stepped back a bit, before straightening up and smoothing out the wrinkles on her white military uniform; after swallowing back her nervousness, she momentarily looked directly at White Pearl, "...My…Diamond." She nervously began to say as she pushed back the need to salute, "I…may I have the honor to speak with you personally?" Nosean asked with a firm tone with some hope laced within it.
The gray and white pearl continued to stare at Nosean with an ever present perky smile, the lone eye blinking only once.
"My Diamond!" Nosean stepped forward closer to the pearl, before directing her attention past the pearl towards the large doors of the throne room, "I know you'd rather speak to me through your gems, or that stolen pearl of yours, but it's been so long since I've ever been face to face with you!" she pleaded.
After a few moments of no response, Nosean stepped forward once more while palming her chest, "It's been well over a thousands years since you've granted me the chance to bask my eyes upon your presence, much less speak to each other," she pleaded
With how the pearl was situated, Nosean had managed to walk next to her while trying to speak past the doorways; after a bit more silence, white pearl slowly turned on her toes while keeping her pose the same. "Very well then, it has been a little while since we spoke face to face." the pearl spoke with an echoing chime of her voice, while her eye twinkled in delight.
The white pearl slid towards the doorway and phased through the doors, shortly after the large doors opened; Nosean covered her eyes with her arm from the sudden onslaught of brightness from the room, before her eyes adjusted to see her diamond within her throne room, sitting amongst several stone terminals with holograms displays of all her currents planets she's conquered and own.
By Nosean's estimates that her eyes could count, there were at least thirteen planets with twenty one moons under her control so far; White Diamond sat within a large white cushion chair while several white columns surrounded her and the terminals she worked through. At present, White Diamond sat with her legs crossed with her dress draped over the back of the backrest of the cushions she sat on.
With her arms length, White Diamond was able to reach out and tap a few things into one of the terminal's, before retracting her arm and resting her hand on her knee; her other arm held up a stone tablet that projected a hologram of data, it was from the older years of gem archeotech, that had been phased out a few thousand years ago.
'I'm not surprised she wants to keep some things the same.' Nosean thought to herself as she allowed herself in and halted once she was a respectable distance in, and waited for her Diamond to address her, all the while giving her White Matriarch the Diamond salute
While White Diamond was glancing down at her stone tablet in her hands, she glanced at Nosean's with a wide brimming smile before slowly setting her tablet down to look directly at one of her oldest gem generals. "Oh, I'm just about done with that tablet tech anyways." she spoke back in a cheerful eerie tone.
Nosean smiled nervously up at her Diamond and relaxed her posture, "Apologies my Radience one, for speaking my thoughts too broadly in your presence." She apologized.
White Diamond chortled a bit with an echoing melodic tone, before reaching up to cup her cheek, "Think nothing of it, my little conqueror, but do tell me. What is it you must consult me about that you'd rather talk to me face to face than through my new Sapphire?"
Nosean stepped forward once while reaching out pleadingly to her Diamond, "It's about the little problem on Pink's new colony that Yellow Diamond gave to her." the gem general began to explain while walking up to her Diamond, "I fear for your sake of mind that nothing good will come of it if we let it drag on this way."
White Diamond allowed her Nosean gem to walk up to her, and reached her hand out to let the gem climb onto it, before bringing the gem general up to eye level with her, "Oh don't you worry, Pink's just having a little tantrum, is all, let her have her have her fun while it can last." she tutted. "After all, she's bound to learn sooner or later that her actions have consequences."
Nosean couldn't help but give her diamond a hopeful look, "I know you told me to keep a tight lip about it, and I'll always honor my loyalty to you, but sometimes I worry the choices that young diamond makes, will bites us back that will leave us reeling for centuries, maybe thousands of years!"
White Diamond simply reached in and poked Nosean in the nose very gently with the tip of her black index nail, and smiled warmly, "You let me worry about that scenario. In time, all will be well eventually, and the Diamond Authority will continue as it once will like always."
Nosean couldn't help but let out a worried sigh, and looked directly into the eyes of her Diamond, "I just hope you don't lose yourself through Pink, you've already split yourself to make Yellow Diamond and BLue Diamond, I shudder to think what would happen if you lost the Pink Diamond aspect of yourself."
"Worry not, Nosean." White Diamond said as she chortled a bit in amusement, before standing up to allow her Diamond atop her head to shine brighter throughout the room, "Just as I shine just as brilliantly, so shall my younger Diamonds shine, and no amount of silly tantrum shall cause any harm to myself!"
'You still make me worry about you, my Diamond…' Nosean mentally thought to herself, not bothered that her thoughts were heard through her diamond.
"I appreciate the sentiment, My little Nosean." White Diamond began to say as she smiled warmly at her gem general, "But I am a Diamond, no amount of force shall marr my features, nor my other counterparts." she explained before laughing a melodic tone of laughter.
