Hello, not much to say this time apart from thanks for reading.

I have a pairing in mind now, but it wont happen till the later books.

KCM will act as power up from sage mode, just below a divine form.

Six path will be Naruto's Divine Form, but he's not ready yet to unlock it.

I'm sorry for any mistakes, I do my best to fix everything.

Now, enjoy the next chapter.

Chapter 4 – Head Scratcher

In the heart of the ancient forest, Artemis convened her Hunters beneath the celestial canopy of towering trees. The sacred grove, bathed in the ethereal glow of moonlight, became a place where whispers of leaves and the murmurs of ancient spirits bore witness to the unfolding revelation. Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, spoke with a measured solemnity that commanded the attention of her devoted Huntresses.

"My, Hunters," Artemis began, her voice carrying the weight of divine authority. "I gather you in this sacred grove to unveil a truth that transcends the boundaries of our sisterhood. Among us walks a demigod of great significance, a son born of the moonlit embrace."

The air in the grove shifted as the Huntresses exchanged glances, their eyes reflecting both the silvery glow of the moon and the awe inspired by Artemis's words. Zoe Nightshade, a steadfast lieutenant of the goddess, observed the reactions with a mix of surprise and curiosity. The goddess's revelation hinted at mysteries that stretched beyond their immortal sisterhood.

"Naruto," Artemis continued, invoking the name that echoed through the sacred grove like a celestial hymn. "Son of the moon, bearer of destiny intertwined with the hunt. Though he walks a path unique among us, his presence among the Huntresses carries the weight of the moon's divine grace."

Zoe Nightshade, her brown eyes meeting Artemis's gaze, stepped forward. "My lady, what does this mean for the sacred bond that unites us? The presence of a male demigod is unprecedented."

Artemis, regal and composed, addressed Zoe with a tranquillity that mirrored the serene moonlit grove. "Zoe, the eternal oath remains unbroken. Naruto's inclusion signifies a shift in the cosmic winds, a blending of destinies that does not diminish the sanctity of our sisterhood. He is my son born of celestial vows, and his journey aligns with the sacred hunt we uphold."

The Huntresses, their attention riveted on Artemis's words, exchanged glances filled with silent inquiries. The sacred grove held an atmosphere of both reverence and uncertainty, as the Huntresses grappled with the unexpected revelation.

One of the Huntresses, Phoebe, spoke with a mixture of curiosity and caution. "Artemis, how can we trust the inclusion of a male, even if he is your son? Our sisterhood has thrived on the purity of our bond."

Artemis, her gaze unwavering, acknowledged Phoebe's concerns. "Phoebe, the moon's light illuminates many paths. Naruto's presence among us is not a dilution of our sisterhood but an expansion of the celestial tapestry. Trust in the threads of destiny that weave us together."

The Huntresses deliberated, their expressions ranging from scepticism to acceptance. Zoe Nightshade, the embodiment of loyalty, addressed her sisters. "Our Lady has spoken. The moon has declared Naruto as one of our own. Let us embrace this shift in destiny and stand united as daughters of the hunt."

As the moon cast its silvery glow over the sacred grove, the Huntresses, with a collective breath, accepted the divine proclamation. The night air shimmered with the magic of acceptance, and Artemis, in silent communion with her daughters, prepared to guide Naruto on a journey that transcended the boundaries of both mortals and immortals.

The first rays of dawn painted the landscape of Camp Half Blood in a warm, golden hue. Naruto, bow in hand, engaged in rigorous training under the emerging sunlight. Moonlit Dominion, the ethereal glow surrounding him, pulsed with newfound power as Naruto seamlessly transitioned between different shooting stances. His arrows hit their mark unerringly, earning him experience points that steadily accumulated in his gamer system.

As Naruto continued to hone his skills, he decided to test the limits of his Moonlit Sage Mode. With focused intent, he walked effortlessly on the surface of a serene pond, defying gravity itself. Campers gathered around, their eyes widening in amazement at this unexpected display of mastery over the moon's energy.

Clarisse, a fellow camper known for her brash demeanour, couldn't help but express her disbelief. "Walking on water? Seriously, how is he doing that?"

Grover, the nature loving satyr, chimed in, adjusting his reed pipes. "It's like he's tapped into the moon's energy. But this... this is on a whole new level. I've never seen anything like it."

As the campers marvelled at Naruto's Moonlit Sage Mode, Annabeth couldn't help but approach him with a playful smirk. "Impressive trick, Naruto. Are you sure you're not borrowing some moves from Athena?"

Naruto shot her a grin. "Hey, if your mom's got any cool tricks to share, I'm all ears. walking on water is just the beginning."

Annabeth crossed her arms, playfully raising an eyebrow. "Well, I'm more into strategic thinking than flashy moves. You might want to consider a bit of subtlety next time."

Naruto mockingly saluted. "Noted, wise one. I'll add 'subtle water walking' to my training regimen."

Grover, joining the banter, added with a chuckle, "I bet Pan never saw this coming when he talked about connecting with nature."

Annabeth's eyes narrowed at Naruto. "You better not be causing disruptions in the natural order, or I'll have to come up with a plan to rein you in."

Naruto feigned innocence. "Who, me? I'm just getting the hang of this moon stuff. No disruptions, promise."

Percy, unable to resist joining in, quipped, "Well, if things go south, I'll be ready with a tidal wave. Just say the word, Annabeth."

Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Great, I've got a comedian and a water walker on my hands. What could possibly go wrong?" The banter continued, creating a light hearted atmosphere among the demigods.

In the tranquillity of the camp, Percy was told to meet with Chiron, the wise centaur who served as the activity's director at Camp Half-Blood. Chiron, surrounded by scrolls and artifacts in his makeshift study, welcomed Percy and sensed the weight of his concerns.

"Percy, I give grave news following the claiming, Zeus's Master bolt was stolen, and he thinks his brother Poseidon used you to take it. Chiron said with a heavy expression. Percy began hesitantly, "Zeus thinks I stole the master bolt. I didn't do it, but he won't believe me. What should I do?"

Chiron, with a calm demeanour, motioned for Percy to sit. "Accusations among the gods are grave matters. However, there might be another possibility. Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, is known for being cunning and could have taken the bolt to instigate a war among the gods."

Percy's eyes widened at the revelation. "So, you're saying it might not be Zeus's wrath I need to worry about, but Hades's scheme?"

Chiron nodded. "Precisely. To clear your name and prevent a catastrophic war, you must venture into the Underworld and retrieve the master bolt. It won't be an easy journey, but the fate of Olympus may rest on your shoulders."

Percy hesitated, unsure if he was ready for such a perilous quest. It was then that Grover, his best friend and protector, chimed in with a determined expression. "Percy, you've got to do this. It's not just about the bolt, it's about your mother. There's a chance she might be in the Underworld, and you can't let her suffer."

Percy's eyes flickered with a mix of fear and determination. "But what if she's... what if she's gone, Grover?"

Grover placed a reassuring hand on Percy's shoulder. "We won't know unless you try, you have to do this Percy. You won't be alone; two more people will be with you on his quest. Emboldened by Grover's words, Percy agreed to the quest.

"So, can I bring anyone on this quest? " Percy asked while Chiron nodded, while looking at Grover Percy grinned. "I'll take Grover, he's my best friend and protector. Percy said to Chiron, while Grover looked shocked but also happy.

"Now, you need one more person," Chiron noted. Percy contemplated his choices, the weight of responsibility heavy on his shoulders. Unexpectedly, he declared, "Annabeth."

Surprise painted both Chiron's and Grover's faces, but Percy explained his choice. "Luke told me Annabeth hasn't been on a quest since she got here. Naruto will have his own adventures, but Annabeth deserves a chance too."

Chiron, acknowledging their intentions, said, "Very well. You three shall embark on this perilous journey. But beware, the road ahead is fraught with challenges. Seek guidance from the Oracle before you depart."

As Percy entered the sacred space of the Oracle, the air seemed to thicken with an otherworldly energy. The Oracle, shrouded in a veil of mist, sat in deep concentration. Percy hesitated before speaking, respectful of the ancient power that resided in the presence of the Oracle.

"Hello?," Percy began, his voice carrying a mix of determination and trepidation, "I seek your guidance. I'm about to embark on a quest to retrieve Zeus's stolen Master Bolt. What can you tell me about the journey ahead?"

The Oracle's response echoed through the chamber, her words resonating with an eerie weight. "To the west, young hero, you must venture. A god's presence shall be your trial, a friend's betrayal your tribulation, and the failure to save what matters most your burden."

Percy furrowed his brow, absorbing the cryptic message. "West? Face a god? Betrayal by a friend? What do you mean?"

The Oracle's voice held an ancient wisdom, detached from the immediate present. "The threads of fate are intricate, Percy Jackson. The road ahead is obscured, and the challenges you face are intertwined with destiny. Seek not only answers but the understanding that your choices will shape the tapestry of your fate."

As the mist thickened, the Oracle fell silent, leaving Percy with a sense of both foreboding and purpose. He exited the chamber, carrying the weight of the Oracle's words, his mind racing with thoughts of the unpredictable quest that lay ahead.

The evening before their departure, Percy, Grover, and Annabeth gathered their belongings and made final preparations for the quest. In a surprising turn of events, Luke approached Percy, holding a pair of shimmering, winged converse.

"These are for you," Luke said, a knowing smile on his face. "Magical flying shoes. A gift from my father, they'll get you to your destination faster."

Percy accepted the gift with gratitude but hesitated. The idea of flying through the sky brought unease. Aware of the consequences of angering Zeus, Percy decided to entrust the flying shoes to Grover.

"I can't risk the wrath of Zeus," Percy explained, handing the winged sandals to his satyr friend. "You'll be in charge of these, Grover. I'll stick to more traditional means of travel."

Grover, looking both excited and nervous, accepted the responsibility. "You got it, Percy. I'll make sure we stay grounded."

As the trio prepared to leave, Percy sought out Naruto. There was a genuine regret in Percy's eyes as he approached the fellow demigod.

"Naruto, I'm sorry for not choosing you to join us on the quest," Percy admitted, a sense of guilt weighing on him.

Naruto, ever laid back, waved off the apology. "No big deal, Percy. We all have our paths to follow. Catch you guys later."

With a casual farewell, Naruto walked away, his steps carrying a mysterious assurance that hinted at his own journey awaiting him. Percy watched him go, wondering about the adventures Naruto might encounter within the confines of Camp Half-Blood. Little did Percy know that the threads of fate were weaving intricate patterns for both their destinies.

The city sprawled before Percy, Annabeth, and Grover as they stepped on the bus, blending into the rhythm of urban life. Tall buildings towered above them, their glass surfaces reflecting the myriad of people bustling about. Annabeth, always observant, took in the surroundings with a curious glint in her grey eyes.

Grover, looking around with a hint of discomfort, muttered, "Cities aren't my thing. Too much concrete, not enough nature."

Percy couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and unease. The city was a maze of unfamiliarity, a stark contrast to the simplicity of Camp Half Blood. "So, where do we start?" he asked, his gaze scanning the crowded streets.

Annabeth, the city expert of the trio, pointed toward a distant landmark on the map. " Empire State Building. That's where Mount Olympus is said to be right above. We'll find an entrance to the Underworld somewhere nearby." Annabeth said as they found themselves on the crowded bus, navigating the mundane terrain of the city, Grover leaned in, his expression serious. "Percy, your mom did what she did to protect you. It wasn't easy for her, but she kept you safe. Smelly Gabe's scent masked yours from the monsters. Moms can be amazing, huh?"

Percy, struck by the revelation, nodded in gratitude. "Yeah, she is amazing. I need to get back to her, no matter what."

Their conversation was interrupted by the entrance of three seemingly innocuous old women, their appearance reminiscent of Mrs. Dodds. Grover's keen senses immediately went on high alert. "Furies," he whispered, the weight of the revelation hanging in the air.

Quick thinking propelled Percy into action. Borrowing Annabeth's invisible cap, he vanished from sight, intending to draw the Furies' attention away from his friends. However, the Furies were cunning. Instead of focusing solely on Percy, they lunged at Annabeth and Grover.

Invisible, Percy took control of the bus, spinning the steering wheel with precision. The emergency brake screeched, freeing the mortals from the impending danger. The Furies, now aware of Percy's presence, shifted their focus to the young demigod.

A tense battle unfolded within the confined space of the bus. Annabeth and Grover, with determination etched on their faces, stood by Percy's side. The Furies, relentless in their pursuit, revealed their monstrous forms, their eyes ablaze with malice.

As the flames of conflict intensified, Percy, visible once more, wielded Riptide with newfound determination. Annabeth and Grover fought valiantly; their teamwork crucial in holding off the Furies. With each swing of Riptide, Percy turned the first two Furies to dust, their forms dissolving into nothingness.

The third Fury, undeterred by the fate of its companions, launched a final assault. Flames licked at the bus, creating a chaotic spectacle. During the inferno, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover made their daring escape into the nearby woods.

Amidst the crackling flames, Grover's voice echoed, "We need to keep moving, Percy. The Underworld awaits, and we can't afford to slow down." He shouted as the trio made way into the woods.

After some time, the dense woods echoed with the hushed whispers of leaves as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover walked along the worn path. The air was thick with anticipation, the sense of an impending challenge lingering like an unspoken promise.

Suddenly, Naruto materialized from the shadows of a towering tree, surprising the trio. "Hey there," he greeted with a nonchalant grin. "Mind if I tag along? Felt like the right thing to do."

Percy, despite the initial surprise, nodded. "Sure, the more, the merrier."

As the quartet walked through the woods, Naruto struck up a conversation, attempting to bridge the gap of unfamiliarity. "So, what's the deal with this quest? And how did you guys end up in the woods?"

Percy, with a half smile, began explaining their journey so far and the impending threat they faced. Annabeth, however, couldn't ignore the lingering doubt regarding Naruto's presence.

"Why are you here, Naruto?" she asked, her tone edged with suspicion. "You're not supposed to be outside the camp. Chiron will be furious."

Naruto, nonchalant as ever, scratched his head. "Well, I felt like I should follow you guys. Call it a gut feeling."

Annabeth, not satisfied with the vague explanation, crossed her arms. "You can't just do whatever you feel like. We have a plan, and your presence might mess things up."

Naruto, seemingly unfazed by her frustration, grinned. "Relax, Annabeth. I'm just here to lend a hand. Plus, who wouldn't want me on their team?"

As the banter continued, tensions eased, and the group found a strange camaraderie amidst the looming shadows of the woods.

Emerging from the depths of the woods, the distant hum of the city fading into the background, the trio stumbled upon a quaint curio shop. The air was filled with the enticing aroma of food, drawing them towards the welcoming embrace of the small establishment.

Inside, Aunty Em, a seemingly harmless woman, greeted them warmly, offering food and creating an atmosphere of comfort. However, Grover, ever attuned to the peculiar, couldn't ignore the unsettling familiarity of a statue just outside the shop. His eyes widened as he recognized the distinct features of his Uncle Ferdinand.

Annabeth, always vigilant, sensed Grover's reaction. "Something's off. Percy, Grover, avert your eyes from her!"

Before they could fully comprehend her warning, Grover involuntarily blurted out, "That statue outside... it's my Uncle Ferdinand!"

[Divine Encounter: Medusa]

[Experience Gained: 30]

A chill settled over the room as Aunty Em's façade crumbled, revealing her identity. Annabeth's instincts had been right; they were in the presence of none other than Medusa, a monstrous creature seeking vengeance on Annabeth, the daughter of Athena the very goddess who had cursed her.

With a malevolent gleam in her eyes, Medusa addressed Percy, her tone dripping with resentment. "Oh, Percy, dear. You'd be better off as a statue than as a pawn in the treacherous game played by the Olympians. They use demigods like you and your friends for their amusement."

The trio exchanged wary glances as Naruto, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward, a determined expression on his face. "Your games won't work on us, Medusa. We're not here to be pawns in anyone's schemes."

Annabeth, drawing upon her knowledge of Greek mythology, realized the gravity of the situation. Medusa sought revenge on the daughter of the goddess who had turned her into a Gorgon. The air in the curio shop became charged with tension as Percy, Grover, Annabeth, and Naruto faced the wrath of a scorned and vengeful monster.

Medusa continued, her words laced with bitterness, "You may not understand it now, but the Olympians' games are ruthless. Your best option is to join my collection a fate as a statue is far kinder than being a pawn in their schemes."

During the tense situation, Naruto, couldn't resist chiming in with his characteristic grin. "Well, this is a sticky situation, isn't it?"

Annabeth shot him an irritated glance, but Grover, nervously eyeing the snake haired threat before them, interrupted, "This is serious, Naruto. We need a plan."

Percy, keeping his gaze averted from Medusa, weighed their options. "We can't look directly at her, but we need to do something."

Naruto, his mind already working on a strategy, took a step forward. "How about this? I distract her, and you guys find a way to take her down. Sound good?"

Annabeth, still sceptical of Naruto's sudden involvement, reluctantly nodded. "Fine but be careful. We can't afford any mistakes here."

Naruto, eyes fixed firmly on Medusa's feet, took a deep breath, drawing upon his combat instincts honed by facing formidable opponents in his own world. Ignoring the temptation to glance higher, he focused on the lower half of Medusa's body, ready to evade any sudden attacks.

Medusa, sensing the challenge, hissed and lunged forward with a swift strike. Naruto, displaying agility beyond mortal bounds, effortlessly sidestepped the attack. "You're not the first snake person, I've dealt with," Naruto quipped, his confidence shining through.

"Now, I've only just recently learnt this move" Naruto said holding up a new Kunai, this had three blades, with two prongs flanking the standard single blade. The handles were also thicker than normal, allowing room for something to be inscribed on them.

"But as the saying goes, nothing beats training more than real life combat" he said throwing the kunai at her head, while powering up a Radiant Rasengan. "Foolish boy, does the Son of Artemis really think that would wound me?" Medusa spoke mockingly, as the Kunai went past her head Naruto had disappeared in front of her eyes, in a white flash Naruto teleported above her in a flash.

"Flying Raijin level 2, Radiant Rasengan" Naruto shouted slamming the Rasengan into her back.

Percy, Annabeth, and Grover, watching the battle unfold, were both amazed and relieved at Naruto's skilful handling of the situation. Annabeth couldn't help but acknowledge, "I guess having him around might come in handy after all."

Medusa, momentarily weakened, retreated, her form flickering between monstrous Gorgon and human, giving Naruto her full attention.

Percy saw his chance to strike snuck behind her, with Riptide gleaming in his hand, he moved swiftly, his movements guided by the water within him. In a decisive swing, he severed Medusa's head from her serpentine neck. The Gorgon's dangerous gaze was neutralized, leaving behind a sense of relief.

The battlefield fell silent for a moment as Medusa's lifeless body crumbled to the ground. The demigods, catching their breath, stared in disbelief at the decisive outcome. Naruto, though surprised by Percy's sudden move, grinned and quipped, "Guess you could say that's a head scratcher."

[Battle Completed: Medusa]

[Level Up: Naruto]

As Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Naruto stood in the aftermath of their encounter with Medusa, the air crackled with tension and uncertainty. Annabeth, ever the strategist, voiced her concerns about the potential dangers of carrying Medusa's head, even in its lifeless state.

"Percy, we can't afford to be careless with that head. It's a potent weapon, but it could turn the tables on us if we're not careful." Annabeth said.

Percy, however, was fuelled by a mix of frustration and determination. The demigods had long been pawns in the gods' games, and Percy was growing tired of it. His gaze hardened as he contemplated a way to reclaim control. "I'm done being a pawn in their games, Annabeth. We need every advantage we can get."

With that declaration, Percy delved into Medusa's office, searching for anything that could tip the scales in their favour. His findings were intriguing a tangible reward in the form of money, a testament to their victory. Yet, the real discovery lay in a freight bill, revealing a crucial piece of information.

"Guys, look at this. The Underworld's billing address is connected to a DOA Recording Studio in California. That's our next destination."

Annabeth's eyes narrowed in contemplation, recognizing the significance of the revelation. "California? That's a long way from here. What's in California that's tied to the Underworld?" Percy, holding Medusa's head as both a spoil of war and a potential game changer, smirked.

"We're about to find out. But first, let's send a little message to Olympus." Percy's plan unfolded as he grabbed a box, filling out a delivery slip addressed to Mount Olympus. The grotesque trophy of Medusa's head would be on its way, a symbolic act of defiance against the divine forces that had manipulated them for far too long.

Naruto, the enigmatic presence in their group, observed the proceedings with a playful glint in his eye. "Well, this is getting interesting. I like the way you think, Percy." Naruto said with a grin. As the slip was sealed and sent, the demigods stood united.
