"Why did you get into a fight with Andrew?" Leo asked his imitate younger brother for what felt like the millionth time since yesterday, as he sat down across from him, a tray of food in his hands.
Right now, it was lunch time and the seniors and juniors had the same lunch period. Leo and Raph don't normally sit together, mainly because they don't get along hardly, but as the oldest, Leo felt the need to get information out of his younger brother.
Raph looked anything but pleased to have his older brother sitting across from him. Especially since he wants nothing to do with his siblings at school — the typical brotherly feeling. Raph made a move to get up and move anywhere else but there, except Leo grabbed his wrist. Raph sighed, sitting back down.
"What do you want, Fearless?" Raph questioned, using the annoying nickname that he and their little sister, Miwa, had came up with when Leo had became the leader of their masked ninja team, consisting of them three and their younger brother, Donnie.
Leo sighed. "Answers, which I'm pretty sure you know by now," he said. "Why did you get into a fight with Andrew?" he repeated once again. "And why didn't you stop when he was down? You're a ninja, you should know better—"
"Stop fucking lecturing me!" Raph demanded, slamming his hands onto the table. "I get it. I'm a ninja! I shouldn't beat up civilians! But newsflash, Leo, ever consider the fact that I just don't care?"
"It's crossed my mind a few times," Leo said drily. But then sighed, seeing Raph's face red with anger, his fists clenched. He had anger issues. "Did Andrew at least deserve to get beat up?"
"More than you'll ever know," Raph answered immediately.
The thought of Andrew angered Raph, that much was clear. But Leo was still unclear onto why, or what the sixteen year old boy had done to upset Raph and unleash a beast... which is actually really easy to do, but still.
"Well," Leo said, unsure on what he could possibly say to his younger brother without being yelled at or being shot a venomous glare. "Okay, just... try to avoid getting into fights from now on."
"You gonna tell Miwa to stop cussing out teachers?" Raph questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"You know she won't listen," Leo said.
"And what makes you think I will?" Raph asked in a challenging tone.
"You're more afraid of Sensei's punishments than she is," Leo answered smugly.
Damn it. Raph hates when his older brother is right, which he hates to admit, is more often than not. Raph simply gave a heavy sigh, and didn't bother responding.
God, he can't wait for school to be over — and unfortunately for him, he has to wait an extra hour, all because he just had to use his fists instead of having a rational discussion? But Andrew didn't have an ounce of logic in his brain... if he even has a brain to begin with.
"Besides," Leo added, as if he just thought of this reason, and he probably did, "You can't go on patrol when you're grounded, and I know how much that doesn't sit well with you and Miwa."
Raph sighed, agitated. "Fine, I see your damn point," he said.
"Oh, that reminds me," Leo said, "Stop cussing. You're influencing Miwa with your vulgar language."
Raph crinkled his eyebrows. "You do realize that she cusses more than I do, right?" he questioned, annoyance still evident in his voice. "And that she started cussing when she was ten? I started when I was thirteen, so you're reasoning is flawed."
"Now can you tell me why you got into a fight with Andrew?" Leo questioned, changing the topic, after a moment's pause, to a topic that Raph really didn't want to discuss.
"Ask me that one more time and I'll—"
"What? Slap me?" Leo questioned, smugly. He was the only sibling that Raph wouldn't actually hit, mainly because he's the only one that actually fights back, and Raph can't be bothered with that.
"No!" Raph said angrily.
"Then why did you get into a fight with Andrew?" Leo asked. Raph was close to breaking, Leo could tell.
But this time, Raph didn't even bother responding. He just stood up and stomped off. A second later though, he returned, gave his older brother a mean glare, grabbed his tray of food and then left again.
"Well, that just happened," Leo commented to no one but himself.

She's so beautiful, Donnie thought from his seat. Now, who's so beautiful, you may be wondering? None other than April O'Neal, who sat directly in front of him, so he got a perfect view of her red pony tale. April may have been in a grade higher than him, but Donnie takes science with the tenth graders, because of how smart he is.
But there is a downside - his older sister is in this very same class, unfortunately. For some reason, the teacher thought they — being siblings and all — would want to sit next to each other, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth, especially since Miwa keeps "accidentally" kicking him, and then sending him an innocent expression, which Donnie wanted to smack off, but that would have probably caused her to hit him in the no area.
"What do you want, Miwa?" Donnie hissed at his older sister, hoping that their science teacher — Mr. Brumfield - wouldn't hear them, especially since they do happen to be in the back of the classroom and all.
"What's the answer to question three?" Miwa asked, and that's when Donnie realized that his sister was chewing pink bubblegum without a car in the world, as if it was allowed to do, which it wasn't.
"Figure it out yourself," Donnie grumbled, turning away from her and glanced down at his own science paper in front of him. He was already on the last question (fifteen) yet Miwa wasn't almost done. Science has never been her strong subject... but Donnie is pretty sure that Physical Education was the only thing that Miwa was good at in school, which made perfect sense, considering that she and her brothers were trained ninjas.
"C'mon, D, am I not your favorite sister?" Miwa inquired, trying to do cute eyes, but failing miserably.
"You're my only sister," Donnie said blandly, not even looking up at her, causing Miwa to pout.
"That may be so, buttttttt..." Miwa pauses, shrugging her shoulders. "Actually, I got nothing."
"Just like you don't have a completed worksheet."
"Oh, so mean!" Miwa said. "Can't you help a sister out?"
"Nope," was all Donnie said, before the bell rang. And Miwa still only had two questions done.
