A/N: Hello, 2024! Here is the first chapter of the year. It would have been the last chapter of 2023, but it just wasn't ready yet. Well, here it is. It is a very highly expected chapter, as here is where we will finally get to see Gohan's OFFICIAL Hero Name!

I hope you enjoy the chapter! Review Responses at the end, as usual.

Let's get going!

Opening Song:
"Lost in Time" by Survive Said the Prophet

The sweet and heady fragrance of lilies wafted through the quiet air, intermixing with the warm, earthy wood scent of the polished pews. The beautiful, pristine white blooms clashed poignantly with the heavy sorrow that hung in the atmosphere.

Gently holding a pair of slender incense sticks in his fingertips, Tenya Iida approached an intricately adorned incense burner which sat in between two framed portraits. The first portrait depicted his brother, Tensei Iida, known to the world as the Turbo Hero, Ingenium. Tenya's tired, red eyes rested for the moment over his big brother's confident, sparkling indigo gaze and warm smile; it spoke of a joyful, happy life dedicated to the bringing light into the lives of others.

Beside it, a second portrait captured the gentle, tender gaze of Tenya's mother, Seiya Iida, the Burst Hero, Chromea. Her silver eyes radiated the warmth and love and wisdom with which she had raised her sons. Side by side, the portraits smiled back at Iida. Tenya paused and stared at the smiling faces of his loved ones, feeling his heart break again.

Of all the people in this world, why did it have to be them? Tensei and Mother, who had touched the lives of so many people, kept this world safe and gave hope that heroism was an ideal worth striving for…

With a quiet gesture, Tenya delicately placed the black incense sticks upright into the glowing embers. As subtle wisps of fragrant smoke began to rise, Tenya bowed his head in reverence, the motion mirrored by other mourners behind him, including his classmates.

Beside Tenya, his father, too, was in tears, bowing in silent solidarity in an effort to conceal his own grief, endeavoring to muster strength for his grieving son. Witnessing his father's attempt to be a pillar of support only intensified the ache in Iida's heart.

Father…

He, too, bears the scars of this unfathomable loss. He's trying so hard to be strong, but beneath his facade, I can feel his grief; his world is shattered, too.

He didn't deserve this, either.

We didn't deserve this… Those monsters have taken everything from us…

Those… monsters…

The pungent, assertive scent of funeral incense began to suppress the sweet and delicate fragrance of the lilies, its presence growing more and more pronounced with each passing moment. With every breath he took of the sharp scent of the incense, the world outside began to fade more and more. The lights began to dim, the sounds of sobbing and crying began to fade away as well, until all Iida could hear were his deep breaths and the hammering of his beating heart.

The scent, his heartbeat, his breaths began to overpower all other senses.

The innocent whites of the lilies, Iida's crying family members, the fallen faces of his classmates and the many sidekicks who had worked with Tensei and Seiya, his father's own quiet grief as he stood behind them…

The smoke of the black incense overpowered it all, and in that suspended moment, the pulse of his heartbeat was the only constant, overwhelming presence.

Tenya's reddened eyes slowly opened, but there were no more tears within them; a raging, dark fire blazed.

Mom, Tensei… Forgive me. All I ever wanted was to make you proud. Some Hero… I couldn't save you. I couldn't…

Iida's hands balled into fists and his teeth bared, clenched.

But I promise, the bastards who did this to you will never get to do this to anyone again. I swear it, on everything I hold dear – on Tensei's memory, on Mother's love – I will hunt down those responsible for this. No shadow or twisted alley will hide them from me. I'll find them and make them feel every ounce of pain they've inflicted on us.

I swear it.

CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE – THE NAME OF A HERO

Ground Gamma

UA High

Two weeks later…

Aside from the steady sounds of the cool wind rushing past Gohan's ears and pulling on his spiky bangs, sending his green costume and vibrant red cape into a constant flutter, the only other sound Gohan could hear in the middle of this dead city was the series of electronic beeps and pulses that his scouter emitted as it scanned the area for any signs of life, only to return once again with another flat beep. Nothing… Gohan sighed.

No sign of either the hostages, nor the villains who were holding them. Gohan toggled his scouter's radio.

"Alright team, listen up," Gohan's voice crackled through his classmates' individual communication devices. "Midoriya, Shield, Todoroki, Iida, stay sharp. If the villains are holding the hostages deep within a city, we may be looking at a fight on our hands, but our priority is still locating the hostages. Midoriya, take point with Todoroki. You're going to draw out the villains while scanning for any signs of the hostages."

"I got it," Izuku replied, his voice electronically muffled by the mask over his face as he shifted his pace with a burst of green electricity. Taking in a huge breath, Izuku pushed off from the ground, propelling himself over to a metal fire escape ladder, which he used to climb onto the roof of a building. Panting, Izuku glanced over at Todoroki, who was crafting long ramps of ice which the dual-colored haired Saiyan prince was riding on.

"Iida, you're with me. Stay mobile," Gohan continued to guide the team. "Use your speed to scout the other half of the city perimeter. We need eyes on every corner of this city. Report back if you see any activity."

"Roger that, Class Rep," Iida replied, his engines revving as he zipped through the urban landscape.

In another part of the city, Melissa was perched against the Power Pole. The sleek cylindrical pole had extended well above even the tallest building in the city and Melissa was holding onto the top of it, with one arm wound tightly around the pole, pressing her body against it. The magenetic gauntlets and boots of her armored costume glowed with a blue hue, allowing her to stick onto the Pole while freely using both hands to tap away at a round radar with a green lens.

"Melissa, any signs of the hostages?" Gohan called in.

"Negative, Gohan," Melissa reported, aiming the radar at a different direction in hopes of picking up a signal. However, the green radar continued to hum with an eerie glow, indicating the absence of any detected signals, other than the blue triangles which indicated her classmates.

Gohan thought on his feet, adjusting the strategy. "Alright, everyone, tighten your search patterns. We need to find those hostages before engaging in direct confrontations. But the clock is ticking. We can't afford to waste time."

"That's the idea," Iida responded tersely, and with a burst of his engines, shot off even faster.

Gohan ignored the biting response and instead focused on controlling his breathing. As he soared through the air, Gohan visualized the golden aura of power that he had tapped into during the Sports Festival two weeks ago; the ethereal manifestation of the legendary transformation.

Flickers of light erupted and danced across his muscular body, manifesting in bursts of golden light and electricity. The potential for greatness shimmered like a distant star, beckoning him to reach out beyond his current limits. Gohan opened his eyes and his black irises now glowed with an intense blue-green light.

There it is… there it is… almost there…

Gohan's focus intensified, the azure eyes beneath the wild mop of black hair narrowing with determination. Gohan delved into the recesses of his emotions, searching for the spark of rage that could finally ignite the dormant power within. The untapped power within him that yearned for release.

The city's skyline blurred as Gohan continued his ascent, the wind tugging at his clothes and hair. Every cell in his body responded to the internal struggle. The memory of past battles and losses flickered before his mind's eye, memories of Bakugo's cruel taunts and Ochaco's tears. Yet, despite his efforts, the golden power remained elusive, slipping through his grasp like grains of sand. Just as soon as it had arrived, the sparks of legend simmered and died out. Gohan's spiky bangs fell to their normal shape and the glowing hue left his eyes.

Frustration sank down on Gohan's chest, but he knew that mastering the Super Saiyan form wasn't an instantaneous feat. The power comes in response to a need, not a desire. I have to create that need…

He couldn't force the transformation. It required an emotional catalyst, a surge of raw intensity that transcended the controlled focus of his current state. Even though he felt a slight weight of frustration on his chest, Gohan didn't allow himself to feel discouraged.

After all, Vegeta's effortless transformations were a clear reminder that control over the Super Saiyan form was achievable. One day, he would learn to harness that power and master it, too. For now, though, Gohan pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the present. He had a mission to complete, hostages to locate, and adversaries to face. He'd have to use the tools he already had at his disposal.

Like his father's Quirk…

"Kaioken!" Gohan's shout sliced through the air as a burst of intense energy enveloped him. The mighty scarlet power of the Kaioken surged through his veins, enhancing his speed and strength. What the Kaioken formed lacked in the Super Saiyan's strength and raw power, it more than made up for in blazing speed, which is exactly what they needed right now, anyway. Gohan blasted ahead through the empty city, covering more ground swiftly, his senses heightened as he searched for any signs of the hostages.

"Alright, team. I've completed a sweep of the outer half of the city. No hostages though," Gohan reported, his senses on high alert. "Iida, have you found anything yet?"

Iida's voice responded promptly, the hum of his engines audible in the background. "Nothing. The city seems clear on my end."

Gohan acknowledged the update, cursing silently. By now, they had to have cleared the entire city at least once. Where could those hostages be?! "Keep scanning, Iida. We need to be thorough. Midoriya, Todoroki, any of you picking up on any disturbances?"

Izuku's voice joined the conversation. "Nothing yet, Gohan. It's eerily quiet on my end. No signs of the villains or hostages."

"Nothing on the radar, either," Melissa chimed in, "The villains are doing a good job of staying hidden."

"Should I use my ice or fire to draw them out?" Shoto's calm voice asked. "Perhaps they have barricaded themselves underground. I can flash freeze all underground tunnels in an instant…"

"NO!" Iida, Shield and Midoriya cried in unison.

"Negative, Todoroki," Gohan called. "No ice; we could end up hurting the hostages. And definitely no fire, either."

"I'm increasing the sensitivity of my scanners," Melissa spoke up, her fingers working diligently on the digital gadgets projected by a blue light emitted from her gauntlet, "and I'm sending out Comet."

"Comet, who's that?" Shoto asked.

"That's the drone she keeps tucked in her jetpack," Izuku explained. "He's really cool! But I didn't think the little guy was operational yet, Mel."

"SHE KEEPS A LITTLE PERSON IN HER JETPACK?!" Shoto gasped. "That's so cruel!"

"Today's a good day as any for a test run," Melissa said with an excited smile. She adjusted her position against the towering Power Pole. Bringing her arm up, Melissa tapped away at her gauntlet, and a concealed compartment in the middle of the jetpack opened up, revealing a tiny, compact, and sleek, spherical drone nestled within. A soft, radiant bluish white glow emanated from its multifaceted lens as it powered up.

Comet resembled a miniature star encapsulated in a translucent spherical shell, almost like a light bulb. The neon battery that powered its repulsors shimmered with a beautiful, nebulous iridescence, displaying hues of deep indigo, ethereal violet, and starry silver. Delicate patterns resembling constellations adorned its tiny frame, adding an intricate touch to its celestial appearance.

It's larger, central lens turned to look at Melissa and sparkled with excitement. Melissa affectionately tapped its metallic shell.

"Alright, my little star, time to shine," she whispered, a hint of excitement and affection in her voice. "Sweep the city and look for any signs of people hiding. Ready, Comet?"

The adorable floating drone responded with a series of cheerful beeps and whirs. Its central lens blinked in a manner that almost seemed like acknowledgment. As Melissa carefully released it into the air, Comet hovered for a moment, its tiny spherical body performing a graceful mid-air spin before zooming off into the city.

The small drone moved with a celestial sense of purpose, zipping through the air with the agility reminiscent of a shooting star. Its cosmic frame glinted with the city lights as it scouted the surroundings, leaving behind momentary sparkles in its flight path that resembled a comet's tail. Melissa monitored Comet's data feed on her wrist console.

As Comet continued its reconnaissance, Iida's voice returned over the comms.

"I've completed another round, Gohan. Still no sign of the hostages or villains."

Melissa's fingers danced over her radar equipment, and a sudden blip on the screen caught her attention. "Comet's got a signal, Gohan," she reported through the communication devices. "It's faint, and it's moving away, fast! Could be the villains."

Gohan's voice, composed and strategic, responded, "Wait for backup, Melissa. We'll do this together."

But the signal on Melissa's radar was elusive, fading rapidly, and a sense of urgency gripped her. Melissa clenched her teeth. "Gohan, it's getting weaker by the second. I can't afford to lose it. I'm going in."

Before Gohan could respond, Melissa made her decision. She clicked a button on the Power Pole and the staff immediately shrunk down in size, carrying Melissa safely to the ground. Melissa landed and deactivated her gravity boots and swung the Pole over her head, tucking it into its sheath on her back and taking off in the direction of the fading signal.

As Melissa turned a corner, her steps came to an abrupt halt as she found herself staring at a dead end, facing an unexpected walled alley. Puzzlement furrowed her brow.

That's strange, Melissa thought, glancing down at her map on the radar. There's nothing here…

Before she could ponder the anomaly further, the air filled with the panicked beeps and whistles of Comet, who was hovering just above her head. Melissa was initially startled by the tiny robot's panicking, but when she saw that it was Comet, she smiled.

"Hey there, buddy," Melissa spoke gently, reaching out a hand toward the hovering drone, offering her index finger for him to perch on. "What's the matter? Did your scanners pick up something?"

Comet's beeps carried a sense of distress. The small drone darted back and forth, its lens flickering with concern, and just as Melissa began to grasp the gravity of the situation, a distress signal from Comet flashed on her gauntlet.

AMBUSH!

Out of the corner of her eye, Melissa detected movement around her. She swung around to find herself surrounded by the silhouettes of Class B students emerging from the shadows.

A chilling realization set in—she had walked right into an ambush.

Gohan was right; she should've waited for backup.

"Well, shit," Melissa groaned.

Gohan's voice crackled through the communication devices, an urgent tone underscoring his concern. "Melissa, what's your status?."

Melissa, maintaining her composure, replied quickly, "Gohan, I've walked into an ambush. I'm surrounded, but I can handle this."

Gohan's frustration was palpable in his response. "I told you to wait for backup. We're on our way. Hold tight."

"I know, sorry! But at least we found them," Melissa stepped back and drew her Power Pole. Pressing a button on her gauntlet, the jetpack compartment opened, allowing for Comet to crawl back in and hide. "I'll try to stall them and buy time for you guys to get here."

One of the 1B students walked forward in front of the group, his skin shining and glinting and his footsteps clanking and dragging along the concrete street.

"Look out, you guys," Neito Monoma teased with a grin. "She's got a stick!"

"Maybe she's gonna give us a little dance with that pole," Kohei Tsubaraba snickered.

Melissa's grip tightened on her pole, racking her brain for ideas. The three boys surrounding her closed in.

"Lookin' a little lost there, Shield," Tetsutetsu remarked with a sly grin. "Like a deer caught in the headlights."

"Oh hi there, Tetsutetsu," Melissa quipped. "On the contrary, my metallic friend. You're the one caught in the headlights."

"Huh? How am I the one…?" Tetsutetsu, momentarily confused, retorted, "That doesn't even make sense, Shield."

Melissa chuckled. "Oh, it will, trust me. Gohan's gonna be here in seconds. You ready to square off against a Super Saiyan? Good luck with that."

"Bring him on," Tetsutetsu's eyes gleamed with determination. "I've been itchin' to get a shot at Gohan. I'll make him pay for what he did to Kendo."

"Kendo?" Melissa furrowed her brow, trying to make sense of Tetsutetsu's words. "What do you mean? What did Gohan do to her?"

"Pft, you don't know?" Tetsutetsu growled, his voice tinged with frustration. "Gohan broke her heart. He rejected her, and someone's gotta make him pay for that."

Melissa's confusion lingered. "Wait, Gohan rejected Kendo? When did this happen?"

Tetsutetsu's face contorted with jealousy. "You saw how he was acting around her during the Sports Fest, didn't you? He led her on, played with her feelings. And now, she's heartbroken. Someone's gotta teach him a lesson. Class Rep Kendo is a strong, awesome and good-hearted person. I won't stand around while he plays with her emotions. I'm gonna show him what happens when you break someone's heart."

Melissa suddenly threw her head back in laughter, enable to contain it. The Class B students blinked and exchanged confused glances as Melissa continued to cackle.

"Hey, hey, hey! What's so funny, Shield?" Tetsutetsu demanded, his frustration mounting.

Melissa, still giggling, managed to compose herself enough to speak. "Sorry Tetsutetsu, the idea of Gohan being some conniving, heartbreaking two-timer is just hilarious. You don't really know him at all."

"Don't play dumb with me. I know what I saw!" Tetsutetsu growled angrily, grinding his sharp metallic teeth.

Melissa offered a lighthearted smile. "Gohan is a kind, gentle soul who cares about people. He would never intentionally hurt anyone. Plus, he's way too awkward to be flirting around with anyone. How he was able to snag a girlfriend on his first year in the first place is a mystery in itself. Maybe you should get to know him better before making assumptions. It sounds like your jealousy might be clouding your judgment."

"Jealousy? What are you talking about?" Tetsutetsu bristled.

"Admit it," Melissa poked playfully, pointing the end of her pole at Tetsutetsu. "You've got a big crush on Kendo, and you can't stand the thought of her crushing on Gohan."

Tetsutetsu's metallic face turned a shade of red as his classmates glanced at one another. "Whoa. Is that true, Tetsutetsu? Are you crushing on Big Sis Kendo?"

"Of course he likes the manliest girl in class," Monoma sighed and shook his head in disbelief.

"N-no! That's not... I mean, shut up!" Tetsutetsu stammered, struggling to find words. His embarrassment was evident, and he quickly shifted the focus. "Alright, no more talking! Time for action! Monoma is right about all of you. You Class A chumps think you can waltz into the scene and do whatever you want. It's time someone showed you that there are consequences. I'm gonna outshine all of you."

"Then by all means, shine bright, my friend," Melissa responded. With a swift motion, she pressed a button on her gauntlet and Comet shot out from behind her with a high pitched whine, emitting a radiant burst of light, glowing as bright as a sun. The blinding flash filled the alley and Tetsutetsu's metallic body reflected the intense light. In an instant, Tetsutetsu and his companions were instantly blinded.

"My eyes!" Tsubaraba screamed.

"I can't see a thing, dammit!" Monoma shouted, clutching at his eyes.

"Sorry!" Tetsutetsu whined, receding his metallic skin, his own eyes burning.

Melissa swung the Power Pole around, striking Monoma in the head and knocking him aside. The blonde cried out and fell, and Melissa darted around him and ran out of the alley as fast as she could.

"I'll get you for that!" Tetsutetsu roared and pushed off, chasing after her.

Gohan, urgency evident in his voice, directed the rest of the team, "Iida, Shoto, Izuku, we've got to reach Melissa fast. We'll regroup afterward. The hostages will have to wait for now. Move out!"

"But I can stay and find the hostages," Iida argued. "We're running out of time!"

Gohan's response was firm, "Iida, we can't predict what the villains have planned. Melissa needs backup now. Trust me, we'll reunite to rescue the hostages together. Go!"

"...fine," Iida responded, his engines roaring to life as he sped toward Melissa's location. Shoto and Izuku followed suit.

"Izuku, Shoto, how close are you to Melissa's location?" Gohan barked, flying back as fast as he could.

Izuku's voice came through the communication devices, filled with urgency. "We're closing in, Gohan. Just a few blocks away. Melissa, hold on!"

Shoto's calm yet determined voice added, "I'm right behind Izuku. We'll be there in a matter of seconds!"

Melissa's voice cut through the tension, resolute despite the peril she faced. "I can handle it, Gohan. Just get here fast."

"I'm heading towards you as fast as I-"

BOOM!

Gohan's communication was abruptly cut off as a massive hand materialized out of nowhere and swung down at him, swatting him out of the air with unexpected force.

"Spike!" Itsuka's exuberant shout pierced the air as Gohan was sent hurtling like a volleyball towards the ground with a wounded grunt. He crashed through the cityscape, slamming into an alleyway with a deafening impact, creating a crater in the concrete below. He rolled to a stop against a wall, disoriented and dizzy.

What the heck…? Gohan groaned. His head spun, and his vision distorted as he tried to make sense of what had hit him. As the dust settled, the slender, curvy figure of Itsuka Kendo, donned in her green hero costume, landed with a rising roll, a confident smile adding to the sparkling in her green eyes. Itsuka rose from her crouched position and strutted over towards Gohan as he groaned and rubbed the back his head tenderly.

It Gohan a moment to recognize Itsuka in her hero costume, which was a form-fitting elegant teal Cheongsam under a black lace corset that accentuated her curves. A provocative slit on both sides of her Cheongsam revealed Itsuka's silky, toned legs and athletic short shorts.

The sparkling green eyes that met Gohan's gaze were framed by a mask that covered the upper part of her face, leaving only a hint of her expressive features visible. Itsuka's confident stride and playful demeanor added an extra layer of charisma to her hero persona.

"K-Kendo?!" Gohan gasped, blinking the pain in his head away.

"Itsuka…" Kendo corrected with a smile, placing her hands on her hips. "Sorry about that, Gohan-chan, but this is Class 1B territory now. You'll have to get through us if you want to get to the hostages. We're not gonna let you villains lay a hand on them!"

Villains?! The revelation struck Gohan with clarity as his vision sharpened and he picked himself up from the ground. The test was a dual narrative, he now realized. To Class A, the Class B students were the villains, the ones who had kidnapped hostages that needed rescuing. But to the Class B students, the villains were the Class A students, and their mission was to protect the hostages at all costs.

"Gohan? What's wrong?" Izuku's concerned voice cut through the communication devices, worried.

Gohan, still recovering from the surprise attack, responded with a strained voice, "I got blindsided by Kendo. I can handle her. Keep moving toward Melissa, but be on guard. We've got unexpected company."

Izuku's acknowledgment conveyed a mix of determination and caution. "Understood, Gohan. We've reached Melissa."

"Engaging the enemy," Shoto radioed in, swinging his arm back and forming a spinning orb of ice in the palm of his hands. With a grunt, he swung his arm forward and unleashed the blast, forming a giant barrier of ice between the fleeing Melissa and the pursuing Class B students.

The eruption of the mountain of ice shook the ground between Gohan and Itsuka, who held her ground, legs spread evenly apart and her fists up at the ready. Without giving Gohan another moment of rest, she pounced on him, swinging her enlarged fists with ferocity.

Each swing of her fists snapped off a burst of wind that cracked like a gunshot. Gohan, with a competitive smirk, simply dodged and sidestepped the merciless barrage, allowing Kendo to push him back along the road.

"You know, your little dance with Uraraka at the Sports Fest after party was so cute," Itsuka said in between punches, her voice huffing with exertion. Her strikes were a rhythmic assault, each blow calculated and swift, but Gohan was much faster, ducking, dodging and parrying the wild blows with relative ease. "You've got skills, Gohan. Not to mention a big heart. But now it's my turn to dance. Only difference is-"

Itsuka dropped into an unexpected twirl, twisting underneath Gohan's defenses and rose up to slam her fist against Gohan's lower lip. Gohan grunted and slid back, blood trickling from the wound. Itsuka smirked, a hungry blaze in her emerald eyes.

"Unlike Uraraka, I can dance on my own," she winked.

Gohan caught himself from his momentary stagger and regained his footing, meeting Itsuka's gaze with a sharp, competitive smirk of his own.

"Alright, Kendo," Gohan said, his head now clear and focused. The two Hero Class Representatives circled one another, as the echoes of distant explosions shook the ground and Gohan resisted the urge to radio in to his team. Right now, he had to focus on the fight at hand. He planted his feet firmly on the ground, shoulders squared, and knees slightly bent. His hands, raised and poised in front of him, were open, fingertips folded inward and ready to react. "Let's dance, then."

"Gladly," Itsuka responded, the hunger in her emerald eyes shining. She shifted her stance, bracing for the next exchange of blows. Her body leaned slightly forward, like a prowling tigress eager to charge forward and close the distance between her and Gohan. Her fists were positioned in front of her face, elbows bent at sharp angles, like a professional boxer.

Itsuka smirked, a confident glint in her eyes.
"Here's an idea, how about we keep this fair and square. No flying, no ki blasts, no fancy power-ups. Just a good old-fashioned fist fight. Mano a mano!"

"Oh, what? I can't use my Quirks, but you can?" Gohan chuckled, adopting a playful grin. Itsuka's smirk widened, her confidence undeterred.

"Hey, I've got all the Quirk I need right here," she bantered, raising her clenched fists, and flexing her muscular arms. "Sorry, you've seen my competitive side by now. I just wanna see if you can keep up, Gohan."

Itsuka's tone was playful yet determined, and Gohan had to admit that the prospect of a raw, hand-to-hand showdown appealed to his martial arts instincts.

"Alright," Gohan nodded. "No Quirks. But if I beat you, you guys hand over the hostages."

"And if I win, you're taking me out for ice cream," Itsuka winked.

Gohan laughed. "Uh, okay fine. Deal. But good luck with that. You're going to need it. Ready, Itsuka? Come at me with everything you've got!"

"GLADLY! HYAAAAAAH!"

Gohan and Itsuka charged head on. Gohan deftly sidestepped Itsuka's first punch, ducking under her follow-up swing. With a swift spin, Gohan delivered a powerful roundhouse kick, aiming for Itsuka's side. Itsuka blocked the kick with her forearms, absorbing the impact with a solid thud.

Recovering quickly, she retaliated with a barrage of rapid punches. Gohan weaved through the onslaught, showcasing his agility. As Itsuka threw a hook, Gohan seized the opportunity. He grabbed her extended arm, using the momentum to flip her over his shoulder and onto the paved ground.

Itsuka landed with a heavy thud but rebounded with impressive speed. Gohan's tail twitched, the Wild Sense warning him of the incoming onslaught. Without turning to see it, Gohan leaped into the air, narrowly avoiding a ground-shaking punch from Itsuka. Their clash continued with a relentless exchange of strikes, each student pushing the other to the limits of their abilities.

Gohan executed a series of rapid punches with a burst of energy, aiming to disrupt Itsuka's rhythm. Itsuka skillfully dodged and countered, demonstrating the prowess that earned her a place among Class 1B's standout heroes.

"Don't get too cocky, Gohan." Itsuka retorted, her voice straining through her gritted teeth. "This fight's far from over!" With another yell, she launched herself forward, aiming a barrage of fierce punches at Gohan. Her fists landed like battering rams against Gohan's crossed arms.

Tremors of impact rattled against Gohan's defensive stance, pushing Gohan back, slightly.

"Wow, Itsuka," Gohan grinned, vaulting over a low sweep of Itsuka's leg. "You punch just like your dad, ouch!"

"Yeah, I get that a lot," Itsuka chuckled, launching a series of powerful punches that Gohan swiftly avoided this time. "I am the undefeated champion of the Junior League Division for eight years straight!"

"Whoa, undefeated huh?" Gohan sidestepped a jab.

"Mhm. 104 and 0."

"Wow! I'm impressed!"

"Yeah, I would have kept the streak going… but I lost a fight recently... but if we ever get a chance for a rematch, I am not losing again!" Itsuka declared with determination, landing a solid punch on Gohan's shoulder.

"That's the spirit, Itsuka! Hey, speaking of your dad, how is he?" Gohan asked, wincing from the punch, but blocking and parrying Itsuka's following attacks. "I've been meaning to go down and watch his fights, but I've been so busy with everything coming up!"

"Yeah, no kidding! The internships, the sports fest, the midterm finals… it's all too much. Papa's fine, but he's maybe just a little pissed," Kendo replied, a playful smirk accompanying her response. "He really wanted to see you again at the after party, but you left without saying hi. Anyways, he bought a T-shirt with your face on it from one of the vendors. It's about two sizes too small, but he loves it. I kinda bought one as well..."

"Oh, did you? That's uhm… nice…" Gohan chuckled, the distraction momentarily easing the intensity of the fight. "Listen, do me a favor and tell your dad I'll make it up to him next time I'm free."

"Sure… thing… Gohan!" Itsuka said, swinging her leg around in between each word.

Gohan backflipped over a pair of concrete barriers, hoping to add a little distance between them to regain his footing, but Itsuka bulldozed right through them effortlessly, her punches crashing with unyielding force, sending debris flying in all directions. Gohan utilized the wreckage to his advantage. He vaulted off fallen walls, executed quick side-flips to evade Itsuka's incoming strikes, and somersaulted over debris to maintain his distance.

Itsuka swung a devastating haymaker, aiming to smash Gohan into a crumbling wall, but Gohan ducked under the fist, slid between Itsuka's legs, and executed a swift roundhouse kick to her back. The impact sent Itsuka stumbling forward, but she quickly recovered, turning with a fierce glare.

Without missing a beat, Gohan scaled a partially intact building through a fire escape ladder and then running across the building tops, leaping from ledge to ledge as Itsuka pursued below.

"Hey, where are you going?!" Itsuka shouted. "COME BAAAAAACK!"

With a frustrated growl, she enlarged her right hand and sommersaulted into a front flip, slamming her hand against the ground and using the force of impact to propel herself up onto the rooftop, landing squarely in front of Gohan.

"HEY!" Gohan protested. "You said no Quirks!"

"I know – cheating! But oh well!" Itsuka said with a teasing smile. She rushed at Gohan, unleashing a barrage of punches, attempting to catch Gohan mid-air. But despite being momentarily off guard, Gohan seamlessly dodged, using the elevation to his advantage. A well placed kick sent Itsuka tumbling off the rooftop and landing on a pile of garbage bags with a thud. Gohan cartwheeled off the rooftop and landed in front of her with a thrilled smirk.

Gohan smirked as he landed gracefully in front of Itsuka, his tail unraveled for balance, his eyes gleaming with playful mischief. "Alright, if we're bending the rules a bit, then let's make things interesting!" He extended his arm, charging a modest amount of energy into his palm.

"HAAAAAAA!" The controlled burst of energy and light whined as it sliced through the air towards Itsuka

"WHAT THE HECK?!" Itsuka cried and leaped out of the way, narrowly avoiding the blast. The blast landed on the trash bags and exploded, scattering the fake plastic trash all over the alley.

"Cheater!" Itsuka called out, staring wide-eyed at the charred remains where she had just been laying.

Gohan shrugged with a cheeky smile. "You started it! Cheaters never prosper, Itsuka."

Itsuka grinned through her frustration, brushing off Gohan's playful jab. "Maybe, but sometimes cheating can be necessary… not to mention, cheating can be fun!"

"I don't know what you mean by that, nor do I want to," Gohan gulped. Itsuka lunged at Gohan, fists flying, as they continued their high-energy clash. Itsuka charged forward, plowing through obstacles in her path. Gohan saw an opening and leaped off a crumbling pillar, aiming a precise kick at Itsuka's exposed flank. The impact staggered her momentarily, but the relentless red-head quickly retaliated with a sweeping punch. Gohan's kick had managed to slow Itsuka down just enough to where Gohan could read where her next punch was going to come from, and he seized the moment.

She's winded, Gohan realized. Now's my chance!

Gohan smoothly redirected the force of Itsuka's punch, causing her to stumble. Seizing the opportunity, he closed the distance with a burst of speed, delivering a swift knee to Itsuka's midsection. The impact made her grunt, and fall back.

Now in control, Gohan followed up with a rapid combination of punches and kicks, each strike calculated and precise. Itsuka, caught off guard by the sudden turn of events, found herself on the defensive. Gohan's hits began to land with satisfying thuds.

Itsuka managed to block a few strikes, but Gohan's relentless assault pressed her. A spinning back kick landed solidly on Itsuka's side, sending her staggering. Gohan, exploiting the opening, followed up with a powerful uppercut that lifted Itsuka off her feet, leaving her momentarily airborne.

As Itsuka recovered,, Gohan couldn't help but tease.

"You're not a bad fighter, Itsuka, but now that it's my turn, you'll need more than just raw power to keep up with me," Gohan remarked, a confident smirk playing on his lips.

"Yeah, you're pretty quick, Gohan, and those fists are no joke, I'll give you that," Itsuka shot back with a groan. "But we're just getting started, honey. Let's see how you handle this!"

As Itsuka lunged forward with a powerful right hook, Gohan smoothly sidestepped, countering with a well-placed elbow to her side. The impact resonated through Itsuka's frame, eliciting a pained grunt, and she buckled, finally falling to the ground, holding her side in pain. She whimpered and her eyes closed tightly, as she cradled herself into a fetal position on the ground, agony evident on her face.

Gohan resisted the urge to check on her. She was still an opponent that he had to defeat, after all. And knowing Kendo, the match wasn't over yet.

"I'm sorry, Itsuka. But maybe ice cream won't be on the menu tonight. It looks like that record is 104 and 2 now, huh? I don't suppose you're ready to give up the location of the hostages, are ya?" Gohan asked with a grin.

Itsuka responded with a groan as she cradled her side. Gohan, vigilant and ready, maintained a guarded stance, keeping a close eye on her despite the apparent vulnerability. Unbeknownst to them, Kamakiri's chitinous arm twitched, anticipation building in the shadows.

As Gohan probed Itsuka about the hostages, Kamakiri seized the opportunity. He slinked through the darkness, his elongated arm extending further and morphing into a blade, the razor-sharp edges casting an ominous glint.

With expert precision, Kamakiri positioned himself in a strategic location, hidden from Gohan's direct line of sight. His compound eyes fixated on the Saiyan and the injured Itsuka. Meanwhile, Gohan awaited Itsuka's response, a playful smirk still etched on his face. Little did he know, the real danger lurked in the shadows, ready to make its move. Kamakiri's blade arm quivered, awaiting the perfect moment to unleash its deadly arc.

Kamakiri surged forward with deadly intent, his blade arm slicing through the air with lethal precision. Gohan's Wild Sense screamed, his tail twitching in a silent warning. Gohan turned in time to see the green blur of Kamakiri closing in, aiming for a devastating strike. Just as the razor-sharp arm descended, aiming for Gohan's tail, a white streak shot out from the side, intercepting Kamakiri mid-air.

"Recipro-BURST!" Iida shouted as he swung his right leg across Kamakiri's chest. The engines on Iida's calf muscles exploded, spitting out blue flames and adding speed and power to Iida's kick. The unexpected intervention caught Kamakiri off guard, and he was sent hurling through the air and crashing into a wall. Iida continued his pursuit, charging at Kamakiri at full speed. Kamakiri was sill struggling to get up by the time Iida reached him. In a rapid sequence, they collided, tumbling to the ground. With a controlled roll, Iida positioned himself on top, pinning Kamakiri beneath him and began to deliver a series of brutal punches.

Gohan stood frozen, his excitement replaced by stunned horror. The harsh sound of fists meeting flesh echoed through the desolate space. The mechanical whirrs of Iida's suit seemed to harmonize with the relentless assault, each punch connecting with a sickening thud.

Kamakiri lay pinned beneath the mechanical force of Iida's suit, unable to comprehend the sudden onslaught. Bloodied and battered, Kamakiri's eyes pleaded for mercy, but Iida's relentless pummeling showed no signs of abating.

"You took everything from me!" Iida's voice reverberated through the alley, a guttural growl layered with anguish and fury.

"Iida, what are you doing?!" Gohan shouted, running towards them. "That's enough! You've beaten him already. Stop, before you seriously hurt him!"

But his words seemed to fall on deaf ears as Iida's assault persisted.

"You think you can just hurt others and walk away?" Iida's voice trembled with a mixture of anger and anguish, his fists raining down on the Class B Student. "Like nothing matters? Like they were just expendable? They were my world, and you took them from me!"

Kamakiri, battered and bewildered, managed to stammer, "N-No! I don't— I didn't mean... I wasn't going to… this is just… an exercise!"

Iida's relentless barrage of punches drowned out Kamakiri's feeble attempts to explain. The metallic clang of Iida's gauntleted fists against Kamakiri's face cracked and echoed down the alley, along with Kamakiri's cries.

"Iida, stop it!" Gohan commanded, rushing towards them.

"You'll never understand!" Iida's retort was a guttural roar, punctuated by another flurry of blows. "If I don't end him, he'll do it again!"

"Iida!"

Gohan tackled Iida and pushed him off of Kamakiri, wrapping his arms tightly around him, securing him. Iida growled and pulled against Gohan's grip. Gohan struggled to keep Iida restrained.

"Iida, calm down!" Gohan urged, his voice laced with concern.

"Iida? What's going on?" Izuku's worried voice crackled through the radio.

"Is Iida alright?!" Melissa asked frantically.

"He's... he's not okay," Gohan replied, his focus solely on subduing Iida. "He's dealing with something. I think he's having a panic attack! We need to get him out of here and get him some help."

"We're on our way," Shoto said, disengaging the Class B students they were fighting. "Just hold on, Gohan."

In the struggle, Tenya's helmet fell off and Gohan caught a glimpse of Iida's face. His wild eyes were filled with tears, his irises trembling uncontrollably.

"You didn't see them, Gohan. You didn't have to bury them! What if it had been Chi-Chi and Goten in those caskets instead of Mother and Tensei?!" Iida roared.

"I'm sorry… I'm so sorry, Iida," Gohan whispered. With a swift snap of his fingers, Gohan firmly pinched a nerve on Iida's neck. Iida whimpered and fell backwards, unconscious. Gohan caught him, cradling his head with the inside of his elbow before he could hit himself on the ground.

Gohan studied Iida's pained features for a moment, his words echoing in his mind.

What if it had been Chi-Chi and Goten in those caskets…?

Gohan took a deep breath before bringing a hand up to his scouter.
"Mister Aizawa, we surrender. Iida needs medical attention."

"Gohan…?" Itsuka struggled to her feet, her expression a mix of sympathy and confusion. She approached him and gave him a silent nod, acknowledging the decision he had to make.

"Confirmed." Aizawa's voice came through the radio, solemn and firm. "Class A has forfeited. Class B, you're the winners of this round."

Itsuka approached him, her expression a mix of concern and understanding. "You made the right call, prioritizing Iida's well-being."

Gohan nodded, appreciating her support. "Iida needs help. That's more important than winning a training exercise. We're a team, and we look out for each other. But still…" Gohan continued, a trace of frustration in his voice, "…it's tough to accept defeat, especially when we were so close to winning."

Itsuka placed a reassuring hand on Gohan's arm and gave him a gentle squeeze. "I get it, Gohan. Losing stings, and I can see how much you care about your team. You're a great leader, Gohan… and an honorable hero."

Gohan sighed. "I just hope Iida understands why I had to make that call."

"He will," Itsuka said with a comforting smile. "In the end, he's part of a team that cares for each other. That matters more than any victory or defeat."

Gohan nodded, appreciating Itsuka's wisdom. "Thanks, Itsuka. And thanks for the great fight. I had a lot of fun!"

"So did I. Get back at me for Round Two soon, alright?" Itsuka winked. "It looks like my record is still 140 and 1, hehe. Don't forget about the treat you owe me!"

"Consider it done," Gohan smiled, picking Iida up in his arms. "See you around, Itsuka."

With that, Gohan lifted up into flight, carrying Iida in his arms and flew away from the battle city towards the hospital ward of the school. Itsuka watched him go with a smile on her face.

Now back in class, Gohan's gaze drifted across the classroom, catching snippets of conversations that highlighted the diverse reactions of his classmates.

"Iida really went all out, didn't he?"
"Yeah, I've never seen him that intense before."
"I heard his brother and mother were killed by a blade-wielding villain. Seeing Kamakiri attack Gohan with a sword probably triggered some bad memories."
"Poor guy. It must have been tough for him."
"I didn't know it affected him that much."

Gohan tuned out the conversations, his mind still dwelling over Iida's words and what he must be going through. Melissa approached Gohan and stood by his desk, clasping her hands with a worried expression.

"Gohan, are you okay?" she asked, glancing at Iida's empty desk at the front of Gohan's row.

Gohan nodded, though his thoughts were still tethered to the intense moments of the training exercise. "I'm fine, Melissa. Just processing everything that happened. Iida's got a lot on his plate."

"Yeah, it's not like him to snap like that. I'm still a little freaked out about it, honestly," she sighed, rubbing her elbow with her left hand.

"Same here," Gohan confessed, looking down at his hands. "Iida's dealing with some heavy stuff. We should be there for him. Maybe he just needs someone to talk to."

"I think you're right," Izuku agreed, joining the conversation. "Besides, you're taking Kendo out for ice cream, aren't you, Gohan? Maybe we can tag along and invite Iida."

"You… are…?" Melissa cocked a suspicious eyebrow in Gohan's direction.

"Yeah, I kinda made a bet with her. If I beat her, she'd release the hostages, but if she won.. well…" Gohan rubbed the back of his neck shyly.

"Seriously? How was the fight not over in an instant?" Shoto asked from his seat. "You're a Super Saiyan now, aren't you?"

"Well…"

Before Gohan could say anything else, the door swung open, and Mister Aizawa strolled into the room, his disheveled appearance ever-present, as always, but at least he wasn't wearing the bandages from the injuries he had received during the USJ Incident anymore. The students quickly settled into their seats, their attention shifting to their stern-faced teacher.

"Alright, listen up, you guys. We've got a lot to cover before we wrap things up today," Aizawa wasted no time and got straight to the point. "Congratulations to Teams Shoji, Yaoyorozu, and Videl for successfully rescuing the hostages and emerging victorious against Class B." His gaze swept across the room, acknowledging the achievement.

"Thanks so much for rescuing us, brave heroes!" Ochaco beamed with gratitude, expressing her thanks, while Bakugo, true to form, grunted in annoyance.

Aizawa's eyes then shifted to Gohan's team, who had faced defeat in the training exercise. However, instead of dwelling on the loss, Aizawa surprised them with unexpected praise. "Gohan's team might not have won this time, but there's a lot to be learned from their approach. Leadership isn't always about victory; it's about making tough decisions and prioritizing the well-being of your team. Remember that."

Gohan exchanged glances with his teammates, a mixture of surprise and appreciation in their eyes. The acknowledgment from their usually stoic teacher brought a subtle sense of validation.

As the students absorbed Aizawa's words, the classroom remained hushed, the weight of the recent training exercise lingering in the air.

Ochaco's sincere gratitude broke the lingering silence, and she directed her appreciation toward Gohan. "Thank you, Gohan. You did your best to save us, and we appreciate it, don't we, Bakugo?"

"Yeah, whatever you say, round face," Bakugo huffed, his eyes avoiding contact with Gohan. "I dunno why you stopped Four Eyes from doing what he had to do to win. If this were real life, the hostages would've killed us and you, probably."

"Bakugo brings up a good point," Aizawa said, leaning back against his chair with his usual disinterested demeanor. "In a real life or death hostage situation, heroes often face difficult decisions. Gohan, think about the consequences of your choices in such scenarios. Sometimes, the greater good demands tough calls. So ask yourself, Gohan: If you were in the same position again, whom would you have saved? Iida? The villain? or Uraraka?"

Gohan found himself deep in thought, his mind retracing the chaotic events of the training exercise. Each option presented its own set of consequences.

"Iida was going through something very traumatic and needed help. I couldn't stand by while he was in that state. The villain... well, we're here to save lives, not take them, right? We're heroes, not executioners. But then there's Uraraka... the hostages' safety had to be my priority."

"And yet, you chose to save the villain… sacrificing Iida in the process, as well as Uraraka and Bakugo here… and perhaps even yourself, had this been a real villain," Aizawa said.

Gohan sighed and clenched his teeth.

"No matter who I chose, someone would've died…"

"Yes," Aizawa nodded in acknowledgment. He got up and walked to the front of the class, casting his view across the rows of seats. "Let me tell you all something you need to hear. It's a cruel reality that the limelight shies away from. As heroes, we often face situations where there's no perfect solution. You'll see it all when you get out on the field on your own; heroes acting like villains, villains begging for mercy, hostages at the edge of a knife. Sometimes, sacrifices are inevitable… Training exercises like these are designed to prepare you for the unpredictability of real-life hero work."

Gohan listened attentively, absorbing the wisdom of his experienced teacher. The weight of the decisions he would have to make in the field became even more apparent.

"That's the reality of being a hero. And sometimes, no matter what you choose, someone will get hurt… or worse. We do our best, but we can't always save everyone." Aizawa continued.

Aizawa's keen eyes surveyed the room, gauging the impact of his words on each student. After a moment of silence, Ochaco spoke up, breaking the stillness.

"But what if there was a way to save everyone, Mister Aizawa?" Ochaco asked, her eyes reflecting a glimmer of hope. "You've seen the amazing things Gohan can do! He's invincible! If anybody can do it, it's him. I mean, what's the point of being a hero if we can't save everyone? We're supposed to be the best, right?"

Aizawa's gaze shifted to Ochaco, sitting to his right, "Being a hero doesn't mean being invincible. It means facing adversity and doing your best despite the odds. We're aren't infallible, and we won't always have all the answers. What makes a hero is their resilience and ability to persevere."

"Mister Aizawa…" Gohan asked with a heavy sigh. "Did I make the wrong the decision?"

"'Did you make the wrong decision?'" Aizawa repeated, crossing his arms and pacing in thought. "Well, that depends, Gohan. What kind of hero do you want to be remembered as? An excellent support hero? An avenging villain hunter? A hero who connects with and saves civilians? Sometimes there are no right or wrong answers. Sometimes you just have to make a tough call based on your values and run with it. In the end, all of your decisions as a hero will be scrutinized, questioned, tested… So focus on shaping the Name of the hero you want to become."

The name of the hero… Gohan already had a name, given to him by the people of Namek. He was the Dragon of Namek, the guardian of all Namekians. But to the world, he was still just Son Gohan…

"What kind of hero do you want to be remembered as?" Aizawa repeated, allowing the question to linger in the air. "The name you make for yourself is shaped by the choices you make. So, consider what kind of hero you aspire to be, and let that guide your path."

Aizawa continued. "All Might... Endeavor... Best Jeanist… Gang Orca… Number Eighteen... think about these names, and the mental image they immediately conjure up. Just as their actions chiseled out names for them, so will your name be reflected by your actions. And that, my students, brings us to the next item in our agenda today. Informatics. Time for everyone to choose their hero names."

The transition from the weighty discussion about heroism to the lighter topic of hero names brought a subtle shift in the atmosphere. Aizawa's words lingered, prompting the students to reflect not only on their actions but also on the identities they wished to embody in the hero world.

"What, like, now?!" Kirishima blurted out, unable to contain his excitement. "ALRIGHT! I've been waiting for this moment since school started!"

Gohan, like the others, considered the significance of a hero name. It wasn't merely a label but a representation of one's values, ideals, and the legacy they aimed to build. The process of choosing a hero name was a step towards defining oneself in a world where every action resonated.

Aizawa's stern gaze swept across the classroom. "Your hero name is more than just a moniker. It's a declaration of who you are and what you stand for, so choose wisely."

Excitement buzzed through the classroom as the students exchanged eager glances, each contemplating the opportunity to create their very own hero identities.

"Finally, something fun!" Mina exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

"I've been thinking about this for ages!" Kirishima grinned, already brainstorming ideas.

"My Hero Name..." Videl mused, stroking her chin.

"I'm definitely going for something flashy!" Kaminari declared, a mischievous grin on his face.

"Hell yeah!" Bakugo smiled, unable to hide his interest. "This is gonna be awesome. Better make sure it's something that stands out."

Aizawa, leaning against the wall with folded arms, observed the students with a raised eyebrow. "Remember, it's not just a cool-sounding title. Your hero name should reflect who you are and what you aspire to be. You also need a prefix to your name, something to immediately distinguishes you from the other heroes: For example, the Flame Hero: Endeavor, or the Punching Hero: Death Arms. Don't be afraid to get creative. Oh yeah, and to help you out, we're coordinating with Business Class 3K to help you create a successful, marketable, appealing name that will encompass who you are as a hero."

"Class 3K?" Gohan groaned. "That means-"

The door slid open to reveal the smiling faces of the Third Year business class students. At the forefront was a familiar, slender girl with medium-length purple hair tied into a professional ponytail.

"Hiya, kids!" Class Representative Ai Fumiko announced with a flashy smile. "So nice to see you all again! Greetings, Mister Aizawa. Business Class 3K, reporting for duty, sir!"

"Thank you for your help," Aizawa muttered. "They're all yours for the next hour. I'm taking a nap…"

Aizawa allowed the students to fan out towards their respective assigned students, each Business course student ready to help shape the hero identities of their younger counterparts.

"Oh, joy. We get to deal with these nutjobs again," Kirishima grumbled, eyeing the business students with suspicion.

Fumiko excitedly walked over to Gohan and placed a large whiteboard on his desk, taking a seat at Ochaco's old desk in front of Gohan and swiveling around dramatically.

"Hiya, Gohan! It's so great to finally see you again! Sorry about the other night. We actually made 7,000 dollars off your merch, but after it was all said and done, all expenses paid for… well, we ended up with about seventeen bucks. They're yours…"

"Uh, I'm good," Gohan chuckled.

"Alright then, let's get to it," Fumiko said excitedly, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "We're going to make you shine like a shooting star! First things first, what's your hero aesthetic? Bold and fierce? Mysterious and brooding?"

Gohan scratched his head, slightly overwhelmed by Ai Fumiko's enthusiasm. "Well, I was thinking something simple, you know? Classic and efficient."

Ai Fumiko gasped dramatically. "Classic? Efficient? Darling, we can't have that! Your hero name should make a statement. How about 'Stellar Guardian'? Or 'Galactic Defender'? Ooh, or 'Celestial Avenger'! What do you think?"

"Those names are… good, but a little too intense, don't you think?" Gohan chuckled nervously, glancing around at his classmates, who were similarly bombarded with suggestions from the business students. "Maybe something a bit more down-to-earth?" he suggested, trying to rein in Ai Fumiko's cosmic creativity.

"Down-to-earth? Boring! But fine, let's brainstorm. How about 'Starstream Warrior'? It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"

Gohan sighed, realizing that navigating the world of hero names with Ai Fumiko was going to be more challenging than he anticipated.

Shoto found himself sitting across from a Business Class student with a penchant for sleek and elegant designs.

"My hero name?" Shoto explained. "Shoto sounds nice."

"You want to use your real name? Isn't that… kinda bland?" The Business student said, thoughtfully. "How about 'Elemental Duality'? Or 'Frostflare Fusion'? We could go for something edgy like 'Polar Pyro.'"

"Those sound like techniques, not hero names," Shoto raised an eyebrow. "Perhaps Shoto would suffice..."

The Business student grinned. "Ooh, how about something synonymous with 'Endeavor'? That would make it extra marketable. Something like 'Venture,' 'Aspire', 'The Strive'? No? Well, Shoto sounds just fine, then… let's go with that one…"

"Call me…" Kirishima said, standing up on his chair and placing one foot on his desk, both hands on his hips. "CRIMSON ROCKET!"

"THE CRIMSON ROCKET?! AHAHAHAHA!" Videl doubled over on her desk, hands on her belly as she howled with laughter. Mina laughed right alongside her, and Kirishima's eyebrows furrowed.

"What's so funny, babe? It's supposed to be an homage to the greatest, most chivalrous hero ever, Crimson Riot!"

"It's rather… phallic, don't you think?" One of the business students asked innocently.

"Phallic, what's that mean?" Kirishima asked innocently. "Alright then, how about "The Rock-Hard Hero: Hard Red! That's the name of my hair dye."

"HHAHAHAHA He… HE SAID… HAAAARD REDDDD!" Videl wheezed, crawling over to her boyfriend, who sulked in defeat, and kissed his cheek.

"Awww Red, you're a riot…" Videl said in between laughs. Suddenly, Kirishima perked up and his eyes widened.

"Red… Riot…" he repeated to himself.

Izuku, surrounded by a group of enthusiastic Business students, was deep in discussion.
"DEKU?! Are you sure that's the name you want? Remember, these could end up being permanent," one of the business students said.

"I know… and that's okay. I want something that reflects resilience and growth," Izuku said. "For the longest time, Kacchan used to call me that to make fun of me. And it really hurt my feelings… That is until I met someone who taught me that it can be the name of a hero, too."

"Everyone does love an underdog!" The Business students exchanged excited glances. "Deku it is!"

As the hero-naming collaboration continued, Iida politely declined any assistance.

"I already have a name in mind," he stated confidently.
A Business student shrugged. "Fair enough. Mind sharing it with us?"
"Yes," Iida's eyes gleamed with determination. "I will be known as 'Turbo Hero: Ingenium II. I will honor my brother's legacy, as well as my mothers'.'"

The Business students exchanged glances, impressed by Iida's decisiveness. "Ingenium it is!" they agreed.

An exasperated growl from the front of the room caught everyone's attention. Bakugo scowled as the Business Class students tried to steer him toward a more marketable hero name.

"Bombing King Hero: Lord Explosion Murder!" Bakugo declared, his explosive temper flaring.

The Business student, trying to maintain a professional demeanor, hesitated. "Uh, Bakugo, that might not attract the right kind of attention. Maybe something like 'Explosive Sovereign' or 'Dynamo Detonator'?"

"How about Explosion Boy!" Kirishima suggested with a snicker.

"Or Bomb Bitch!" Videl added, eliciting a giggle from Jiro, Kaminari and Ashido.

Bakugo's eyes narrowed, and the atmosphere in the room grew tense. "I said, Bombing King: Lord Explosion Murder! That's what strikes fear into the hearts of villains!"

The other students exchanged uneasy glances, sensing Bakugo's frustration escalating.

"Look, Bakugo, we're just trying to help you find a name that's more... hero-friendly," one Business student explained cautiously.

"Friendly?! I don't need your help! I'm the one who decides my damn name!" Bakugo roared, causing a few startled students to take a step back.

Aizawa groaned, his voice muffled by his yellow sleeping bag. "Bakugo, calm down. Your hero name needs to be something that resonates with the public. 'Lord Explosion Murder' won't cut it. Unless you find yourself a more suitable name, you'll have to go with 'Bakugo'."

Bakugo's eyes burned with defiance, but after a moment of simmering anger, he grumbled, "Fine. At least those damned villains will know exactly who kicked their asses."

The Business students breathed a collective sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, back at Gohan's desk, Fumiko, flanked by two other Business Class students, huddled around Gohan, each deeply engrossed in a discussion about his powers, costume, and the impressions he left during various hero activities since the start of the academic year.

"So, Gohan, your power set is impressive," one of the students remarked, adjusting her glasses as she examined notes on her tablet. "You've got flight, energy manipulation, and a strong hand-to-hand combat style, a tail mutation quirk and what appears to be the ability to transform. We need a name that encompasses all of that."

Gohan nodded appreciatively, "Yeah, I want something that reflects my abilities and the kind of hero I strive to be."

The second student, a girl with a laid-back demeanor, chimed in, "Your hero costume is pretty cool. Dynamic colors. Green and red, mainly. Very eye catching. Very… reptilian, almost. Add to that your power ups and you've got this whole cosmic aura going on, and your combat skills are out of this world. We should play that up in your hero name."

Fumiko, with her tablet in hand, was still fixated on the footage of Gohan's recent battle. "And don't forget this moment right here!" she exclaimed, pointing to a specific scene where Gohan exhibited exceptional agility. "That's the key!"

In the midst of their brainstorming, Gohan chuckled, "I'm open to ideas, but let's make sure it's something that resonates with people. I want them to know that I'll be there to protect them, always, and to inspire them to help one another. That's always been my goal."

"People, hmm?" Fumiko muttered in thought. "I noticed the Hachimaki you wore during the Sports Festival. It has a martial arts symbol. Who are they? Is that your family?"

Gohan's expression softened at the mention of the Hachimaki, and he smiled. "Yeah, it's a symbol from my family, the Dragon Clan. They're a group of powerful Namekian Martial Artists, and the symbol represents our unity and strength."

Fumiko's eyes gleamed with interest as she continued to play with various ideas in her mind. "Dragon Clan, huh? That's intriguing. We could use that as a central theme for your hero identity. Dragons are symbols of power, wisdom, and protection. How about incorporating that into your name?"

"Well, the thing is…" Gohan chuckled nervously. "There kinda already is a Dragon in Namek, and he's not exactly… a hero, or anything…"

"Are you kidding? I've heard a lot about him!" Fumiko said, excitedly. "He's Namek's silent guardian, saving others by night and driving away the villains that gave Namek City its reputation. That's a hero in my book! But you're right, stealing someone else's name is bad juju."

"The lawsuits would be sky-high," another student added.

The other students nodded in agreement, and Gohan pondered the suggestion.

"Still," one of the other students said, "Dragons do represent a lot of positive qualities. It could work, with some tweaking here and there…"

"Absolutely," the girl with the glasses affirmed. "Dragon Clan, martial arts legacy, heroism, a champion for the people of Namek... There's something powerful there. We can definitely incorporate that into your hero name."

As the other students continued to brainstorm, Fumiko tapped her tablet screen, analyzing Gohan's powers and costume details while replaying footage of Gohan's Sports Festival battle against Bakugo. She focused on a specific segment, repeatedly rewinding and replaying it with an infectious grin spreading across her face.

As the two other girls continued their discussion with Gohan, Fumiko couldn't contain her excitement any longer.

"I've got it!" she exclaimed, tapping the tablet's screen to freeze the footage on the moment that had sparked her inspiration. "This right here is the key to your hero name, Gohan! Trust me, it's going to be epic!"

Fumiko scribbled the name on the whiteboard, along with a logo of a winding dragon. With a wide smile, she showed it to Gohan who stared at it for a moment.

"What do you think?" She asked and the other two girls gasped and nodded in excited agreement.

"It's... it's perfect," Gohan breathed with a smile. "This is the one."

As the business course students began to file out of the classroom, Fumiko handed Gohan her business card, and grinned mischievously. "Remember, Gohan, when you're ready for your big hero debut, give me a call. I've got plenty more ideas to make you shine even brighter!"

Gohan chuckled, appreciating Fumiko's enthusiasm. "Thanks, Fumiko. I'll keep that in mind."

As she turned to leave, Fumiko glanced back with a playful wink. "Oh, and by the way, love that tail of yours. It adds a nice dramatic flair! Heroes with tails are totally in!"

Before Gohan could respond, she disappeared through the door, leaving him with a bemused expression.

"Huh… I can see why she's the Class Rep…" Gohan said to himself.

"Alright, listen up, everyone, because we only have a few minutes left to do this," Aizawa called the attention of the class. "It's time for you to present your chosen hero names. These are the names you will go by during your Internships. This is a crucial step in shaping your public identity, so make it count. Asui, you're up first."

"Ribbit! Yes, sir," Asui stood up with a confident croak. "I'm your Rainy Season Hero: Froppy." She held up her whiteboard, revealing the neatly written name alongside a charming doodle of a cute frog with glowing green eyes like Asui's.

Aizawa nodded in approval. "Simple and to the point. Good choice, Asui. Who's next?"

One by one, the students followed suit, presenting their chosen hero names with pride.

"I am the Everything Hero: Creati," Yaoyorozu claimed, holding up her whiteboard to show her logo.

"Everything hero?" Videl raised an eyebrow and Mina shrugged.

"Creative. It is a great hero name," Shoto said with a rare smile.

"If you say so," Kaminari scratched his head, confused.

Next, it was Melissa's turn. She confidently stepped forward, holding her whiteboard that displayed stars surrounding her hero name in Star Wars font.

"Alright, everyone! I AM HERE!" Melissa exclaimed with a theatrical flourish. "I am the Cosmic Tech Hero: Starlight!" She pointed to the sleek and modern logo of a star accompanied by gears and circuits.

A few students nodded in approval, appreciating the blend of innovation and cosmic inspiration in her hero name.

"My turn!" Kirishima leaped with excitement. "The Sturdy Hero: Red Riot!"

Gohan observed each presentation, the anticipation building as his turn approached. One by one, his classmates continued to present their names.

"Acid Queen: PINKIE!" Ashido shouted.

"The Crane Hero: Tailman!"

"Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt!"

"Call me the All Star Hero: Miss Satan!" Videl declared.

"Miss Satan… nice ring to it, I suppose," Aizawa nodded.

"What?!" Bakugo bellowed. "Miss Satan is fine, but mine's too villainy?!"

"Sweets Hero: Sugarman!" Sato continued, ignoring Bakugo.

"Tentacle Hero: Tentacole."

"Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack."

"Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi!"

"Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl!"

"Shoto…" Shoto said calmly.

"Huh, no prefix, huh?" Aizawa observed.

Shoto clenched his jaw and then looked back up at the class.

"...Son of Rei," he said solemnly.

Aizawa sighed and rubbed his temples.

"Fine. Next."

"I… I chose the P-Petting Hero: Anima," Koji whimpered shyly and was visibly relieved when Aizawa nodded in approval.

"I love it, it's so cute!" Ochaco squealed with a smile.

"Uraraka, what have you chosen?" Aizawa asked.

"Uhm, well…" Ochaco rolled her wheelchair out to the front of the class and held up her whiteboard. "I've had this name for a while – The Spacebound Hero: Uravity."

"Alright! Go Uraraka!" Melissa cheered from her desk. "We'll be Space Hero sisters together, just like Eighteen and Sixteen!"

"Yay!" Uraraka cheered, relieved and returned to her desk.

Next it was Izuku's turn to present his name. He was shy at first, but with a determined nod, he made his way to the front of the room and presented his name.

"Whoa, are you sure about that name, Midoriya?" Kirishima asked with a worried gasp. "Remember, that could be your hero name forever."

"I know, I've thought about it a lot, and it's the perfect name for me," Izuku said. "I am The Emerald Hero: Deku. I'll prove to everyone that I can be a hero!"

"Deku… hmm. Interesting. Very well, then," Aizawa said. He glanced across the room and locked gaze with Gohan.

"Gohan," Aizawa said, making Gohan's heart race with anticipation and excitement. "You're up next."

"Yes, sir," Gohan said and got up to walk to the middle of the class. His mind circled back to Fumiko's suggestion and the dragon motif. To the few that knew him, and to those he saved, he was known as the Dragon of Namek, Porunga. But to the rest of the world, he would be known as…

Gohan reached the front of the class, whiteboard in hand, and turned to faced the class. Uraraka eagerly leaned forward in her wheelchair to get a glimpse of his name. Gohan breathed in and out, finally turning the whiteboard.

He revealed the bold name, a stylized dragon emblem accompanying it. The class murmured in approval, and even Aizawa cracked a rare smile. The image on Gohan's whiteboard depicted a powerful green dragon soaring through the sky, its snake-like body wrapped around a Dragon Ball with four red stars on it.

"I am the Hero of Namek: Dragonfist."

Ending Song:
"Set it on Fire" by Divide

"Hero of Namek: Dragonfist?! That's an awesome name, Gohan-chan!" Itsuka squealed as she hugged her books against her chest. "Guess what mine is!"

"I dunno, what?"

"GUESS, I SAID!"

"Uhm… The Slapping Hero: Man Hands?" Gohan asked innocently.

"KYAAAA! You're so heartless!" Itsuka faked a heart attack and pouted.

"Sorry, you did say 'guess'. So, what is it, then?" Gohan asked, scratching his sideburn. Itsuka turned to him with a big smile on her face.

"I am The Tigress of Namek: Battle Fist!" Itsuka declared with a smile. "Isn't that so cool?! We should definitely open up an agency together. We could be partners…"

Gohan chuckled at Itsuka's theatrical reaction. "Tigress of Namek: Battle Fist, huh? That does sound pretty cool, Itsuka. And an agency together? That's an interesting idea. Partners in heroism, I can see it now."

Itsuka's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Right? We could be the most dynamic duo ever! Dragonfist and Battle Fist, taking on all villains in Namek, one punch at a time!"

Gohan grinned. "I like the sound of that. We'd make a formidable team."

As Gohan and Itsuka strolled together, Melissa and Izuku caught up with them. Melissa pushed Ochaco in her wheelchair, the trio forming an impromptu group with Gohan and Itsuka.

"Hey, guys! How about some ice cream to celebrate our new hero names?" Melissa suggested, shooting a warning glare at Itsuka.

"But I thought you were lactose intolerant?" Izuku asked innocently.

"I said I want some ice cream!" Melissa interrupted.

Ochaco's eyes lit up at the idea. "Ice cream? Yes, please! I'm in!"

Itsuka caught onto Melissa's tone and subtly gritted her teeth at the unexpected turn of events. Nonetheless, she managed to put on a friendly facade. "S-Sure, the more, the merrier, I guess."

"We were actually about to head out for a couple scoops ourselves," Gohan said. "C'mon, there's a good place a few blocks from here!"

"Oh, really? You two were going on a date or anything, right, Gohan?" Melissa asked with a suggestive tone.

"Nah, I made a bet with Itsuka and I lost fair and square, and there's nothing else to it. Fair is fair," Gohan said.

Itsuka, feeling a mix of embarrassment and relief, tried to play along. "Yeah, exactly! Just two friends enjoying each other's company, you know?"

"I was talking about Gohan and Ochaco," Melissa said with a passive-aggressive smile.

"Hey, no need to be mean, Mel," Ochaco said, smiling at Itsuka. "Sorry about that. I'd love it if we can hang out tonight!"

Melissa winked playfully at Itsuka.

"Nahhh, don't worry, Itsuka. I'm just teasing you. Oof! My back is killing me from that fight in the Ground Gamma, though. Here, Gohan. This is your girlfriend. You push her."

Gohan chuckled, accepting the handles. "Well, alright. Ready, Ochaco? Hold on tight!"

Ochaco giggled and clung to the sides of the wheelchair. "Gohan, please don't go too fast!"

"Too late! KAIOKEN!" Gohan laughed and feigned a burst of speed, taking five exaggeratedly fast steps. Ochaco yelped in surprise, laughing and squealing as Gohan slowed down, sharing in the joy of their playful banter.

Itsuka giggled alongside the group, ignoring the dark pit in her stomach.

As they continued their journey to the ice cream parlor, the group came across Iida, who was making his way towards the train station.

"Hey, Iida, wait up!" Izuku called, running after the Vice Rep. Gohan left Ochaco's side and jogged over to the two boys.

Iida turned to face his classmates, but his mouth was a thin line, his eyes dull and distant. Heavy dark bags underlined his tired, red eyes and his hair was slightly disheveled, a trace of untrimmed stubble outlining his chin.

"Oh, hello you two," Iida said. "I'm glad I ran into you right now. I was actually meaning to apologize to you for earlier. I don't know what came over me… I'm sorry. I couldn't save the hostages after all. I couldn't… save them…"

Gohan and Izuku exchanged sympathetic glances.

"Hey, don't even worry about that right now, Iida," Gohan said. "We're in this together. Saving you was more important."

A small, thin smile formed in Iida's lips for a moment, then disappeared.

"Thank you," he said, hoarsely.

"Actually, Iida," Izuku added, "we were thinking of grabbing a treat just across the street. You up for it? It could be a good way to unwind."

"You've gotta try their Vanilla," Gohan insisted. "It's delicious! We… we know it's been tough for you lately. But you're our friend, Iida. We care about you and, well, we just want to be there for you, man."

Iida hesitated, his gaze momentarily fixed on the ground. He looked up at them with the same, dull expression from before. "Thank you, Gohan, Izuku. I truly appreciate your offer, but I have a lot of work to do. There are matters I must attend to."

Gohan and Izuku exchanged disappointed glances, but maybe what he needed right now was a little time and space. Gohan would figure out how to reach him later.

"We get it, Iida," Gohan said. "But remember, you're not alone in this. If you ever need to talk or if there's anything we can do, just let us know."

Izuku added, "Yeah, we're here for you, no matter what. Take care of yourself, okay?"

Iida managed a small, appreciative smile. "Thank you both. Your support means a lot to me. I will keep that in mind."

Iida nodded at the two classmates and turned, heading to the station.

As he walked, the forced smile melted from his face, replaced by a twisted mask of rage.

I'm sorry, my dear friends… Eventually, some day, things will go back to normal. We will be able to hang out, share good times and laughs together.

But until then, I have a lot of work to do…

A/N: And here we are at the end of another chapter. To be honest, Dragonfist hadn't been the first name that I had planned on, but the more I lived with it, the more it started to sound like a Martial Artist Marvel character name. Well, I felt like it was much better than Saiyaman, anyway. I hope you like it and if not, well, hopefully it will grow on you with time the way it did with me.

I always felt like Miss Satan would have been a great Hero name for Videl, because of her father, but also because it just sounds badass.

With the coming of the new year, I want to continue regularly posting updates until we finish this season. I honestly cannot wait to get to it. But we still have the Internships to get through, which will bring its own lessons and high-stakes.

With that, it's time for the Review Responses.

Alex Hatake chapter 52 . Dec 10, 2023

Guau me encanta mucho tu historia

Muchisimas gracias, Alex. Me alegra que le le haya encantado esta historia. Aun tenemos bastante camino por recorrer, y espero que le encante los siguientos capitulos despues de este. Se avecinan cosas emocionantes, mi amigo. Muchas gracias por su comentario!

X3runner chapter 52 . Dec 11, 2023

That kinda felt like an I am Ironman moment which is cool. And I can't wait to see how you handle the ida vandetta storyline it's not particularly long but I dig it.

Hi, X3! Thank you for your review, and yeah it kinda did honestly. Dave Shield is basically Tony Stark, at least a retired version, right? Since Dave was an active Hero during All Might's prime. Ohhh yeahhh, unlike the show, where Iida kinda just gets punked and knocked around, you're going to see an enraged Iida that actually has training and multimillion dollar weaponry, out for blood. It's never a good idea to hurt the family of a straight-laced, justice obsessed multimillionaire mega nerd that has access to advanced military grade armor and has the best combat training program in the world... just ask every villain in Gotham ever XD Thanks for your review, my friend!

Elchico 64 chapter 52 . Dec 11, 2023

Oh, I LOVE the Gohan merch! I just want to buy it all! The T-Shirt, the cape, there's even the axe from Fornite and a purple dildo :0

zzEclipse: ...That's not from the merch, dude...

Oh... wrong shop.

Anyways, can we really blame Melissa for not caring shit about her mother? No, Tight right deserve it! I mean, Im sure with time they will fix their family bond, but since day one both saw each other, Tight didnt give a damn. It sure that Melissa had grown independent, now she has a lot of friends and a crush, she's doing well on her own...

Maybe on better times she will get along with her mother, at least is not like Todoroki. Speaking of... Where is his merch?! I-I-I-I want a Hell Spider bag with cheese.
And I feel bad for Deku, yeah, he won the third place, but nobody but this mother give him any credit. He wants to be seen at least, I mean, he was always in the shadow behind Kacchan without a Quirk because he still want it to be a hero...

Also, love the dance with Gohan and Ochaco, poor Itsuka, she get none. As for Tensei... ugh, it burns my soul, Tenya is already devastated, his brother was his admiration, his own hero. He deserves better. I guess now, like the anime/manga, Tenya will search for revenge but with a few changes, right?

Anyways, LOVE the chapter and then is the Hero Names! I assuming both Todoroki and Tenya will remain their actual civil names for their own reasons. But I wonder what name is going to choose Gohan, because I doubt his vigilante name is good choice before graduation

Take care, pal! Hope you're doing better! Stay healthy!

Hola, homie! Yeahhh that's not... that's not this shop. Try the one from Saints Row hahaha You are absolutely correct about Tights and Melissa. And regarding Deku, I probably should have given him a little bit more fan interactions, since he really did win top spot in the Sports Festival. Zero fans is definitely an extreme. He seems to be really popular with young ones like Katsuma, Koda, Eri and Goten. So he's definitely going to have some fans as time passes on.

Oh yeah, we're definitely getting a Tenya vs Villains mini arc during the Internships, but as you said, with some changes, some of which you will see in the next chapter, actually. I hope you like the Hero name I chose for Gohan! It's very close to his vigilante name, but with a twist, as I mentioned in the AN above. Thanks for the well wishes bro and if anything, I'll hit you up on Twitter! I'm almost done with the drawing you requested! ;D

JustinCase chapter 52 . Dec 11, 2023

Hoooold up! Oh eclipse you slyyy dog you! Hyperbolic Time Chamber? Teased. Perfect Cell? Pretty much confirmed. But Baby? FREAKING BABY?! I was not expecting that! I can already see your version of Baby, targeting the "cancer" that is Saiyans and choosing to eradicate them. It was so lovely to see Android 16, in this case a young version of himself I guess? Having friends and fitting in. I think that will make it way more heartbreaking when he gets crushed by Cell.

I can't believe the nerve of Tights! The way she just disregarded all of Melissa's friends and her teacher/presumably old friend, Sam. And the audacity to try and force Melissa to listen to her when she's the one that left them. The gaslighting and manipulation made my blood boil. But at least Melissa has her dad's support.

I really liked the Yamcha and Tien mini reunion with Gohan there. Wish it was longer but happy to have gotten it, and I looked Gohan's interaction with young Hiro and the Great Saiyaman comic. Which makes me think Great Saiyaman is something like Wanpan man huh? Would explain his cartoonish personality, voice and poses.

Gohans's dance with Ochaco was so sweet, and the part with Tensei and Tenya broke my heart. With the way you write your characters, I can see Iida becoming a Batman-type character for a while, with the vendetta against Stain. Great chapter

Hi Justin, hehe I was hoping someone would've caught onto that. But that's a villain for a distant future, perhaps not even in this story, but the sequel. We'll see. Yeah, with Tights it's... complicated. She is a terrible mother, for sure. But just like Vegeta, there may yet be some redemption for her in the future. Definitely, we will see more of the original DBZ bois as the story progresses. A couple of villains, too, but I won't say anything more on that hehehe you'll just have to wait and see. Iida is definitely giving Dark Knight vibes, isn't he? ;)

Thanks for your review, my friend!

ArguableReader chapter 52 . Dec 12, 2023

ALRIGHTY~ SO,

All the meeting's and the dancing, and the yeah, so much positive energy,
especially with the ahem, I-five...you know, cause the five of them,
are I-islands' best and stuff...so yeah I-five...phft... (_) happy face emote (_)

No one honestly saw THE David Shield walk up to a kid, technically, standing in the corner, (Izuku)
and just rush up to him...did he learn that in the time as All-Mights' partner I wonder, you know?

That ending though...well that became somber to saddening real quick... (T_T)

Oh no, not the I-Five! HAHAHAHA Honestly that sounds way better than the Famous Five, which sounds like a Kung Fu Panda knockoff now that I think about it XD Yeahh great point, in hindsight, Dave would've been flooded by fans, right? So would have Tights and Doctor Gero, too. Oof, missed opportunity. But thanks for pointing it out. I'll make sure to slow down and ask myself questions like this in the future to make it more immersive. Sometimes with tightening writing windows, we take leaps that leave scenes a little constricted. The folly of being a writer with little time, I guess.

Yeah, it's very sad to lose Tensei and Iida's mother Chromea, but Iida's friends will be there to lift him back up and save him, as was foreshadowed by this chapter. Thanks so much for all your reviews, always! I really appreciate them.

Brandon Dupere chapter 52 . Dec 14, 2023

KaijuEmperor chapter 52 . Dec 16, 2023

Damn even though our Green Boi Izuku got a much better position in the UA Sports Festival everyone that isnt close to him treats him like shit, well at least David Shield (his future father-in-law lol) came by and cheered him up.

Bitch you've lost your parenting privileges the moment you abandoned your husband and daughter (if you did it for what I think you did then when it backfires horribly you'll feel like an even bigger piece of shit than you do now.

That Gohan x Ochako dance scene is just adorable.

OH SHIT YOU'VE KILLED MOTHERFUCKING TENSEI! YOU'VE MIGHT AS WELL JUST HANDED TENYA HIS GAURANTEED SUICIDE WARRANT FOR WHAT HE'S ABOUT TO DO NEXT ONLY WORSE!

Yeah, in hindsight, I shouldn't have given Izuku the loser treatment. He's a really sweet guy who would have had no problems making even a few fans, right? I'll work on that in the future. Oh yeah, most definitely he is his future father in law hahaha

I really liked the dynamic of the next generation of Shield/Briefs helping out the next All Might, basically. It just seems really fitting. and yeah fuck Tights! She can rot. And I think you know EXACTLY what she has been working on this entire time. Might it make her decision to leave her family just a little more sympathetic, thinking she could correct it once it was finished? Hmm, probably not.

Ohhh and this time, it will not play out like in the anime. This time, Iida has some serious training and weaponry, and a vendetta against villainy. He's, for all intents and purposes, basically Year One Batman! XD We'll see him in action in the next chapter, but caught a small glimpse in this one. I hope you liked it! Thanks so much for your reviews, as always, Kai!

Guest chapter 52 . Dec 26, 2023

Hiii I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your dedication to this story. I hope you understand how much a lot of us look forward to your new chapters! Can't wait for the next one and keep up the amazing work!

Hiii Guest, thank you. Thank you sooo much. This is one of the kindest reviews I've gotten and it just warmed my heart up. It's not easy working on a story this big, and it comes with a lot of sacrifice and self doubt, but comments like yours make all the work worth it. Thank you so much, and I hope you like what we've got in store next!

Well, that's it for Review Responses. Thank you one more time for your continued support. And as always, if you wanna check out some BTS stuff, like drawings, discussions and stuff, send me a follow request on Twitter and let me know you came from FF, and I'll add you there. Until next time!
