Will it be clear to leave?

"What makes you think I would know?"

"… Right, stupid thing to say."

Phillip shook his head as he watched the data being drained from the computer.

The heist of ME Corp took longer than he had initially thought, mostly thanks to a particular white-haired girl that insisted on trying their luck at the parties last week. To sum up the experience, it didn't go well at any of them. Either because Mei wasn't invited or only Mei was invited, they found themselves out of luck. So, they spent their time at Phillip's apartment watching horror movies.

Phillip won't be mentioning the several times he was jump-scared during those. Kiana still hadn't let him live it down.

Then there were a couple of days where he needed to stake the place out. He didn't know how much Cocolia changed the place since the takeover, so he needed any changes documented and uncovered. Once he was certain he had gained substantial information, he started the attack.

He easily evaded any security, thankfully, and was currently standing in the main database. While Ryoma's personal computer was likely to have more classified info, that was confiscated at his arrest. This was his best bet, and he had the best tool for the job.

Remind me to applaud Nepgear's ingenuity when I see her again.

"Noted. Remember: it was a push to just get that out. So, make good use of it and get anything that's heavily restricted."

Right. Anything under Project MEI.

Phillip watched as the progress bar filled completely before he started typing. Finding the correct files, he copied them into the device before ejecting it. With the objective in hand, he made his way back to the entrance.

Unfortunately, the second time wasn't as fortunate as the first. Upon reaching the lobby, all the lights turned on and nearly blinded Phillip. When he could see clearly, a familiar person was standing in front of , blocking the entrance.

"Well, well, well," Cocolia said, a brazen smile on her face. "I heard there might be ear scurrying about. Instead, we found a prize."

"Oh, great," Phillip muttered to himself before addressing the woman. "Did you have fun playing scientist with other people's experiments? Because, if you haven't had your fill, the lab is down a couple of stories."

Cocolia's smile turned to a frown at this. "Unfortunately, I'm running out of materials for my newest experiment. Luckily, my AI helper told me the source was close by today, so I was hoping to restock."

They must have fixed the Hephaestus AI to track hypersonic targets and my biological data in case I came back for anything. Phillip cursed mentally at this. He initially hoped that the AI would be scrapped in exchange for Bronya's robot but that went out the window.

Still, that didn't mean he had no options.

"Well, I'd be happy to oblige, but I'm going to need info on any of your other projects."

"Sorry, kid," Cocolia pointed at him as if setting up a target point as a dangerous glint went through her eyes. "You're coming with me regardless."

Three panels opened up between the two, showing mounted automatic machine guns. With a whirl, the guns shifted and pointed their barrels at Phillip. All he did in response was shrug.

"Can't blame a guy for trying." As the first bullets were released from the guns, Phillip encased himself in lightning chakra and ran through the turrets, the bullets being obliterated and reduced to ash upon touching the chakra armor. In the exact same instance, he slammed through the glass doors and the informed steel behind them before tearing down the streets.

By the time he reached his apartment, barely a second flew by. Thus, he wasn't able to relish in the hateful scream Cocolia sent him.

November 8th, 11:35 am,

Well, that was a fun day.

Phillip rubbed his hair down with a cloth, getting out of a shower just a moment before. With a couple days having gone by, Phillip found little resistance in accessing the files, physically or technologically. Apparently, Cocolia was not enraged enough to send her little helper out and have the girl cover the mess.

It both calmed him and freaked him out all at the same time.

"It's possible that you left some residual energy behind. So, in the end, she has something to experiment with."

Brilliant. I'm assuming you'll still counter any cloning of hers?

" So long as she sticks to standard cloning, yeah. If she creates one that generates a soul drop, there isn't much I can do."

Phillip grumbled at this but understood the limit the angel was forced to take. Instead, he focused his attention on the laptop stationed on his table by the couch. He decided to be as thorough as possible today and piece out what Project MEI was to Cocolia.

"We should have done this the first day of getting the files."

Yeah, but you know, Lightning Armor backlash.

Clicking through the files, he was first met with some of the stuff he already knew: Herrschers, Honkai eruptions, things of that nature. Phillip had a stand of hope that Cocolia had shifted some files to the main database for easier access but there seemed very little different from his first attempt.

However, there were some changes.

"The Gem of Conquest?" Phillip questioned as he opened the appropriate file. The more he read, the more his eyes narrowed.

" 'A highly concentrated form of Honkai energy acquired during in 2nd Honkai War,'" Gabriel recited from the text. "Seems there are some wars against the terrors here."

That's not the worst, Phillip replied, gritting his teeth as he read further. They wanted to implant the Gem into Mei to try to weaponize Herrschers for the wars. They wanted Mei to be a sacrifice!

"Yes, and they had weapons to help quell any problems on the way. Luckily, Ryoma's conscience stepped in and halted it just in time before they went too far."

Phillip didn't respond immediately, his body trembling in barely restrained anger. When he did, his rage showed. She's trying to start this up again. He stood and immediately went for his coat as sparks danced across his frame. Several deadly thoughts crossed his mind as his hand touched the jacket, only to pause once he had done so. Gabriel!

"No," Gabriel said with the finality that only an archangel could possess. "We went on this trip to acknowledge the problem and get you prepared, not to have you destroying your soul for the false belief that you're helping Mei."

But-

"You understand the situation and the problems behind it. Now, we keep a clone on them and prevent them from getting close to Mei. That way, they can't surprise us and their goal remains fruitless."

Phillip's body unfroze at this but Phillip's wrath still lingered. Every ounce of his will simply desired destruction, so he punched the coat rack, causing it to bend so much that the top was parallel with the ground. He looked at the coat rack, fixed the bend the best he could before going back to the couch to sit.

Phillip created a clone to send to ME Corp HQ for Gabriel's suggestion before rubbing his face with both hands in an attempt to rid the rest of his anger. He hoped whatever plan Gabriel had intended was good enough to keep Mei sane. He didn't like it but, under the restrictions he had, it was the best he's got.

Damn it! Phillip stood back up and returned to his door. Snagging his coat, almost causing the rack to fall over, he opened his door in a huff. However, he had an unexpected visitor standing there.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Mei said, eyes wide at the sudden opening. "Is now a bad time?"

"No, no," Phillip replied immediately, his rage subsiding at the surprised girl's gentle voice. "Please, come in." Phillip stood off to the side to allow Mei access to his apartment. Mei gave a small bow before stepping inside, taking her shoes off at the welcome mat. She didn't go far, though, stopping a few feet past the door.

Phillip closed the door and moved closer to Mei. "Was there something you wanted?"

"Well, uh," Mei started, growing a little fidgety as her cheeks glowed a little red. "My chauffeur had asked me to see if you would like to spend the day with me."

Phillip blinked a couple times at this. "Sure, let me get Kiana and-"

"No," Mei interrupted as her blush grew. "I mean, he wants just the two of us to go together."

Phillip rose a brow at this. He honestly doubted that the chauffeur would be selective on who stuck with Mei. So, it was more than likely Mei was the one that wanted to exclude Kiana for whatever reason.

"Was there someplace you wanted to go?"

Mei simply nodded, her flush growing to her ears at this point. Phillip simply stood there, deciding on whether or not he should listen to Mei's request. While the idea had the merit of allowing Phillip the ability of careful observation without his attention bringing split, he had really relied on Kiana in keeping Mei's attitude pleasant. He had a lot of doubts in his mind that he wouldn't be able to keep Mei happy during their time.

So, he decided to ask. "Are you sure the chauffeur just wanted me?" Another nod caused him to sigh in resignation. "Very well. When do you want to leave?"

Mei's blush disappeared as she beamed brilliantly. She moved around Phillip to put her shoes back on before grabbing his wrist. She yanked the door open and rushed out, dragging Phillip along.

How many times are girls going to drag me places?

12:00 pm, Near Downtown Nagazora

"So, what did you want to do?"

Phillip rested his head in his palm, his elbow on an armrest, as he tried to squeeze any information for the girl seated next to him. The girl sent him a secretive smile before looking back out the windows. That had been his answer since they started down the road.

Recently, they have been requiring the limo service a lot more. Mostly because that, outside of the school, those that were against Mei had become more expressive on the master, with lobbing items at the three as they walked. Kiana always reacted to the instigations, regardless of whether the items hit Mei, causing Phillip to restrain her. However, should the items hit, Mei would be forced to contain the two by her lonesome.

Phillip breathed out a sigh as he recounted the recent week. He looked back over at Mei to speak. "I'm sorry about my recent actions. I don't mean to bother you."

Mei looked back at him with wide eyes before reaching her hands frantically, as if trying to dissuade the idea. "No, no, you're just trying to defend me! I'm truly grateful for the thought." Her eyes softened afterward as a gentle smile appeared on her face. "Thank you for everything you've done to help me. Without you and Kiana, I don't know where I'd be."

"… Right."

"Though, I do wish you would be calmer. I don't want either of you getting into trouble for my sake."

A cough paused their conversation as their attention was pulled to the chauffeur, who was smirking at them.

"Sorry to bother you two, but we're at your destination."

Mei got out first, before gesturing for Phillip to follow her. He did, even exciting on her side as well, and looked over the place.

It was an empty lot, fenced off from the public with buildings on two sides and chain links on the other two, with only one place with a hole large enough for humans to walk through. Trash littered the corners while papers fluttered by from a light breeze.

"It's a little dirty," Mei started, before flinching as a glad bottle rolled against her foot. "Okay, a little more than just dirty, but I think we'll be left alone here."

Phillip nodded at this. "Alright then," he said before walking over to the hole and pushing it open just a little more. "Shall we?"

"Such a gentleman," Mei giggled before ducking slightly to squeeze past Phillip and through the hole, with Phillip following soon after. Mei moved towards a small staircase that led to a boarded-off door and sat down on the second step. She moved off to the right side to allow Phillip room to sit beside her.

Once they were both seated, Mei reached into her bag and pulled out… a boxed lunch.

"Huh?"

"I wanted to do something nice for you," Mei started, holding the boxed lunch towards Phillip. "Kiana always picks bits and pieces of your lunches, so I made you something just for you."

"Mei, you make me lunch every day," Phillip said, though he couldn't stop a smile from forming on his face. "And if this was all you wanted, we could have done this at my apartment."

Mei blushed slightly at this but still responded to Phillip's inquiry. "True, but I wanted to make sure Kiana didn't hear anything or smell the food."

Phillip nodded at this. While it was unlikely Kiana could hear their conversation, thanks to seals, the girl had a nose for any good cooking. A single whiff of Mei's coming would be able to awaken that girl from a coma.

With the explanation dealt with, and Mei pulling out her own food, the two started chowing down. When they had finished, they had a small chat about little things, like weather and such. When they felt enough time had passed, they stood and started walking back to the limo.

"Well, well, well. Look who it is!"

Of course, things rarely go as planned.

Phillip and Mei spun on their heels, finding a group of boys, eight in total, standing on the other side of the fence. They immediately started climbing over, landing on their feet once they got over. Each of them had sneers on their faces with all of their eyes on Mei.

"Man, who would have thought our scroungy little neighborhood would get a visit by little miss Mei-chan?"

Mei flinched at this and shuffled back in a vain attempt to evade their gazes. Phillip, on the other hand, took two steps forward to stand between the retreating girl and the group.

The gut that spoke before, the dirtiest and ugliest of the bunch, smirked wider. "Hey, hey now, no need to play the hero to someone like her." Phillip took another step forward, causing the man's smirk to change into a scowl. "Are you a dumbass or something? You've heard what her father did, right."

Someone from at the back of the group spoke up. "I heard she's got some kids following her. Best he's one of them."

"Is that right?" The first guy leveled his eyes at the stoic Phillip. "Well, we have a way of sorting out that problem, don't we?" He pulled back his dull green jacket to show the gray metallic sheen of a firearm.

Phillip's eyes narrowed and he let out a low snarl at the sight. He turned slightly, his eyes never leaving the group, to tell Mei to leave when the voice of the chauffeur rung out, having then entered the lot.

"Enough."

9:45 pm, North West Nagazora.

I've had enough of this.

Phillip leaped through the night skies, the cold air whistling over his ears in a hollow sympathy as he did. He felt the need to do something, anything, about the current situation the city was facing, thanks to the encounter with that group from before.

When the chauffeur entered the lot to pull Phillip and Mei from the encounter, the group put their target on him instead. In response, the chauffeur activated the limo's automated defense systems. It was enough to force the group to retreat.

Phillip wanted to question how a limo managed to find the space for a twin-mounted automatic turret, but also couldn't find faults in its effectiveness.

Since then, Mei returned to her house for whatever remained of her schedule while Phillip was taken back to his apartment. However, his body felt too energetic to simply sit tight in his room and he had extreme doubts that a work-out would satisfy.

No, this was the desire for action, something he had when being Ryoma's secretary and lost too quickly for his liking.

"I understand you want something done, but we've done enough without affecting the timeline. Pushing too fast will put the universe in a bad situation."

Phillip ignored the angel as he landed on the building and jettisoned off of it, keeping his senses at peak performance. Phillip wanted to find his target quickly and assumed she would be more active during the night, considering his experience.

Once he was close to the ME Corp HQ, he started sniffing around to capture a scent. Unfortunately, it seemed Bronya hadn't gone through the area recently. That didn't mean she wasn't already on the prowl, so he decided to go to the next obvious place she might go. Just before he started to head out, however, he noticed some activity at the building.

Three jet-black limos parked in front of the entrance of the ME HQ building in a straight line from each other. The passenger side front door of the first opened, revealing a white-haired girl that sort of reminded Phillip of Kiana if it wasn't for the mask, single ponytail over her shoulder, and the nun-like outfit. Some men in black suits exited out of the last limo and met up with the woman at the middle limo. She opened the back door facing the building and another face joined them.

The man was strikingly blonde, shining so brightly that it could be confused with gold. He wore a purple jacket with a drape over his shoulders that fluttered when he climbed out of the limo. As the man turned to address the woman, Phillip noticed the puffy collar of a white button-up shirt and the white gloves he had when he took a clipboard from the woman. The man nodded a couple times before handing the board back to the woman and walking towards the building.

However, the man stopped and turned back to look in Phillip's direction. Vibrant green eyes meet chocolate brown as Phillip started an unintentional starting contest. After a couple seconds, the man smirked and resumed his slow pace towards the building.

As Phillip released the breath he was holding, a thought passed through his head. What is going on down there?

"Nothing your clone won't be able to find out sooner or later."

That reminds me, the clone will be protected, right? They do have Hephaestus monitoring for me.

"Nothing short of God will be able to notice it. Don't worry."

Phillip sighed at this, before looking towards the general direction of his apartment. It was likely his target was there now, so he jumped a couple of buildings in that direction to start the journey there.

Funnily enough, he found her at the midway point coming from the exact location he thought she would. Having smelt her first, he ducked behind a chimney in order to ambush the girl. However, she diverted her path immediately for a longer path, causing Phillip to follow her movements to try and corner her.

"You're going to need to simply overpower her. Her scans won't let you ambush her."

Can you hide me from them?

"You have the power and speed to get her, and I'm focusing on your clone. Just get her."

Phillip rolled his eyes but increased his speed regardless. A strong jump that cleared a few buildings and one jump to the side to get past a wall of tall skyscrapers put Phillip just behind Bronya, flying just fast enough to stay in front of him. She twisted to meet him, Phillip's laptop firmly tucked under her right arm, as she commanded her robot in a monotone voice.

"Fire."

Her robot appeared and shot a missile at him. He grabbed it out of the air with a backflip and tossed it straight up before summoning a clone. The clone launched itself up and grabbed hold of the rocket before squeezing hard. The missile exploded but was smothered by the clone dispelling that it silenced the boom and nullified that damage it would have caused.

Deciding to end the tussle before it began, Phillip kicked hard off the side of a skyscraper to get to Bronya's side before she realized he had moved. With a swift chop to the back of her neck, she lost consciousness and started to lose altitude. The robot used itself to cushion her fall as they landed on the roof of one of the litter buildings and slid into the rail guards on the edge.

Phillip landed before them, and the robot rose its claw to summon a white orb. Not waiting to see what happens, Phillip swiped his left hand in a horizontal line and fired several needles of electricity into the robot's arm, pinning it to the rail. It tried retaliating with its canon but it was stopped by another barrage of needles.

With the main threat out of the way, Phillip walked over and pressed a pressure point on Bronya's neck. She woke up with a gap, only for it to be shoved back down her throat when Phillip started strangling her.

"Listen here, alright?" Phillip spoke with a hiss, alerting the girl of the danger if she resisted while taking his laptop from the girl and causing it to disappear in a puff of smoke. "You're going to tell me what I want and you won't lie. Understand?"

The girl didn't try to resist. In fact, she seemed eerily calm about all of this. Realizing the idea, Phillip clenched her jaw with one hand and reached into her mouth with the other. Finding the thing under her tongue, he pulled a hidden cyanide pill out and toss it away.

" That's not going to work with me, so do me a favor and cooperate."

Only then did Bronya begin struggling, landing several kicks on Phillip's abdomen with no reaction on his part. He clamped his left hand over her throat in hopes it works weaken her enough, only for her to twist her legs around his forearm. As he tried shaking her off, the robot tried to headbutt him, which he blocked with his free arm.

However, he realized their plan only after heading several circuits screech through his ears. He looked over to his left to see the claw hand clench, erupting the white orb into blinding light. Dropping his grasp on the girl, he tried to shield his eyes from any further harm. His instincts saved him from a near fatal strike, losing three hairs as ducked under a clear strike.

Apparently, Bronya was only looking to make an opening, as she and the robot rushed off soon after snatching his hairs. For a moment, he stood there, trying to rub out the light, but stopped in order to catch up to the fleeing girl.

The girl traveled along the ground freely, having turned invisible to evade detection by the populace. She dodged around every person that got in her way, keeping her momentum throughout the chase.

Phillip, on the other hand, stayed off the ground, jumping off of rooftops and the side of buildings to keep pace. He used his sense of smell to keep track of Bronya while his eyes were recovering. Unfortunately, he didn't date get too close, in the fear of colliding with something while still blind.

The chase lasted far too long in his opinion. By the time his eyes recovered enough to fully see again, they were extremely close to ME Corp, with Bronya already on the block of the building.

Phillip was forced to negate the chase. He didn't want to see if Cocolia updated the defenses of the building in order to catch him, so he made one last jump to the top of the closest skyscraper.

As Bronya entered the building, Phillip cursed. "Damn it. That clone better do his job correctly."

"It will. After all, it has collected some of Cocolia's actual goals. So, calm down and wait, for we'll know more as time moves forward."

Phillip sighed at Gabriel's instruction before sitting down on the edge of the building, legs dangling off. This is getting out of hand. How do I help Mei in this situation by waiting around?

"You continue to learn. With what you've learned, later situations will be better handled."

You said this is when I'll be on the offensive. So why do I feel like I'm still being reactive?

Gabriel stayed silent for a moment before starting again. "It will take some time for you to find your role in this world. Things will start proper near the beginning of the next year."

Right, Phillip replied. So, two months of waiting.

"Three. And you'll still be constantly stalling Cocolia's plans."

Phillip nodded before laying back in mild exasperation. "What do I do now?" He mumbled as he stared off into the night sky.

"Just keep going. Don't die too soon and try to keep Mei happy."

Phillip decided it wouldn't do to stay around and wait for something to happen. Tiredness was starting to settle in his eyes, so he returned to his apartment for the night. As he jumped through the city, he sent a small prayer for joyous coming days.

Maybe something up there would get him moving in the right direction.

Minutes later, Top floor of ME Corp HQ,

"It's odd, really," Cocolia stated to her unintended guest. "Why would the esteemed Schicksal's overseer want with a old bird like me?"

She sat comfortably in the chair that was once been Ryoma Raiden's. The faint moonlight gave an ethereal glow to the office, as she and her visitor began a struggle of wills in order to gain what they wished.

"Please, my lovely Cocolia, don't degrade yourself so freely," the man spoke, a serpent's tongue flicking compliments on an attempt to lower her guard. " We both have desires and the will to see it through. I'm honestly surprised it took so long for us to meet."

Cocolia almost let out a snort at this comment. "Please, I doubt you're here to simply flatter me. No point in using pretty words to get your way, so why don't we move on to the actual reason you're here?"

Otto looked slightly aghast at this. "Now, what's the matter with some light complements? I feel they help ease negotiations quite well." He then shifted slowly to be more comfortable in his seat. "However, I will agree with your idea of moving forward to true intentions. For the beginning, let's start with yours. What do you wish to achieve with Ryoma Raiden's assets?"

Cocolia gave the man a critical eye. "What does it matter to you? They are my assets now and that's all that matters."

"Quite true," Otto said calmly. "However, the only way I can help you is for you to reveal your goals to me. Otherwise, neither of us benefit from this meeting."

"And what do you wish to get from me, exactly?"

The man smirked at Cocolia's question. "Very well, I'll start with my goals. I have two things to gain in this scenario, both of which I believe you have the means to provide." Reaching forward, Otto grabbed a porcelain teacup from the desk and sipped the golden liquid inside. He placed the cup after a few drinks and continued. "The first is something you're actively striving for: a controllable Herrscher."

"You seem to be mistaken," Cocolia stated, resting her head on the back of her left hand, propped up by the chair's arm. "I have no interest in some hoax made by nerds on the internet."

"Don't insult Schisksal's Intelligence Division, it's unseemly," Otto smirked as a scowl marred Cocolia's face. "Now, the second goal is something I believe you've been having problems with recently."

Cocolia opened her mouth to retort the claims when the elevator doors gave a groan as they opened.

Bronya took a couple of careful steps forward into the office, not wishing to disturb the meeting. She had been roughed-up, with her clothes disheveled in places and hair untidy. Bronya had one hand clutched to get side as she grew closer to Cocolia.

Cocolia let out a sigh, one of both relief and exasperation. Once Bronya was by her side, she made her demand. "Report."

"Bronya couldn't regain the lost intel but was able to grab some more samples from the subject."

Cocolia nodded before gesturing to the elevator. "Take them down to the lab and retire for the night. We'll talk more about this later." Bronya nodded once at this before starting for the exit, only to pause when the man spoke up.

"Now, now, Miss Cocolia," he said, looking at the younger girl with a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Let's see this treasure you're so keen on keeping secret."

Both occupants narrowed their eyes at the man. Bronya shifted her eyes to Cocolia for advice. Cocolia waved her right hand in the attempt to force Bronya away from the situation. Bronya did so, only to stop once more when a golden feather fell from out of nowhere.

The next second, she was presenting the man with the three brown hairs she had grabbed from her earlier altercation.

Otto looked back to Cocolia with a smug grin on his face. "If I recall, blood is a much better source for experimentation."

Cocolia snarled at the man. " Attacking my daughter is the last thing you'll do, you scummy little-"

"Easy now, I meant no disrespect and your daughter will remain unharmed," Otto replied, showing both hands to dispel the antagonistic aura. "However, your samples are also tied to my second goal, so I felt it necessary to see what you've gathered."

"That means nothing to me!" Cocolia cried, standing up from the chair. "Do you think you can start demanding something after what you've just done?!"

"Demand? Oh, no, my dear Cocolia, I simply wish for a trade."

Cocolia's eyes twitched at this. "You have some nerve. Fine! What do you want?"

" It's simple, really," the man said without losing his confidence. " I want to offer my assistance in return for some of the samples you have."

Thus time, Cocolia did snort. " Your assistance? Sorry, but all of my projects are running smoothly. It seems more like you earn more from this bargain than I do."

"Oh, I'm certain all your goals will come eventually," the man responded without a blink. "But how long will take exactly with only Anti-Entropy's resources? Next year, early at the best?" The man's smirk threatened to split his face as he continued. "With my aid, your projects will finish just in time for Christmas and all I ask is for one of those hairs."

Cocolia sat down at this, eyes narrowed at the man. The offer sounded extremely good for her. After all, the faster these projects reached completion, the sooner she could pull Seele from the Sea of Quanta. However, this man never made an investment that was a net negative. He was too calculating to allow something like that to occur.

"Sounds too good to be true," Cocolia said, distrust in her voice. " Is the value of that one hair so much to warrant your aid?"

"The hair itself has no value, but I believe who it came from warrants some serious observation," the man explained before reaching out his hand, intending to shake the woman's hand. "So, is this a settled matter? Are we in agreement?"

Cocolia looked at the hand in offense, but couldn't help to agree on idea. So, despite her ever-growing reluctance, she reached out to grab the hand and shook. "It's a deal, but only for as long as you keep your side of the bargain."

"Of course," the man stated, grabbing one hair from Bronya's hand. "You'll receive a large shipment by tomorrow and more along the month." With this, the man stood up and moved to the elevator. "Happy to have done business with you, Cocolia."

Cocolia leaned back into her chair as she rubbed her head as the man descended. "This is going to become quite the headache. I can just feel it." She cast a look over to Bronya, who still stood as still as a statue. "Send the remaining samples down to the lab and rest up after." Bronya gave a nod at this, causing Cocolia to stand up. "I'll go with you. I'm going to need to relieve some stress."

As the two took the elevator down, they missed a pair of silver eyes shining down from the ceiling. The clone dropped down to the ground, still completely invisible.

"Well, this is an interesting development."

Well, this is the end of the chapter.

Thank you all for the support you've given me, even during the weirder times.

Hope you've enjoyed the chapter and see you all in the next one.
