Sioux Falls, South Dakota
"Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we ask for Your Forgiveness, for we have sinned..."
Jody prays along with everyone else. She didn't care about God, but she did have Faith.
"Amen."
Once the service ended, Jody was having a cup of coffee talking to one of the church goers.
"Jody, I'm so glad to see you back." Her friend, the church organist was surprised to see Jody. Jody hasn't been inside for years.
"It brings me peace. You know I never turned my back on my faith." Jody was always busy, especially after raising her adopted daughters, but she always tried to come as much as she could.
"How is Alex?"
"She is doing very well. Her daughter, my granddaughter is doing excellent in school." She was growing so fast, already she was in forth grade.
"I'm glad to see you smiling. Ever since, Owen..." She looked away uncomfortably. She remembered that incident, no one wanted to remember that night.
"He is at peace. Excuse me." Jody needed to leave. Its been years, but Jody hated talking about it.
"Of course." Dee walks away to talk to the pastor for next week's sermon.
Jody sighs as she walked out of the church. She liked the church, the feeling of peace always healed her. Shoving the thoughts of Owen away, she heads to the nearest coffee shop.
"Anything else, Sheriff Mills?" The friendly barista asked.
"I'm off duty. Just call me Jody." She pays for the coffee and sits down on a empty table. After she gets comfortable, she sits down to enjoy her coffee and newspaper she bought from the newsstand outside.
ANOTHER PERSON GOES MISSING
'What's this?'
Jody pours through the article. According to the small town just a few miles from here, four people went missing in a span of a week. But that wasn't what caught Jody's attention, it was what they all had in common.
'A blue fire with a SUV getting lifted by one guy?'
It was a case. Picking up her coffee, she goes to head out to the small town of Hartford. Luckily, it was in Jody's jurisdiction.
"Hey Sam!" Jody didn't know why she was calling Sam, or his brother. Both were semi retired. Especially Dean. But Dean was actively working a case and Sam decided to go with him.
"Hey Jody, what's up!" Sam said cheerfully.
"Got a case, four people go missing."
"And you need us, why?" Dean, he seemed so grouchy these days. According what Bobby told her, Dean and his wife were fighting.
"A girl went missing last night, witness says her kidnapper singlehandedly lifted a SUV with their bare hands."
"Say no more. See you in a few hours."
Jody was watching the now damaged SUV getting towed away. Whatever did this, it was strong. When she heard the rumble of the Impala, she turns around.
"Hey." Jody hugs them both. "First of all, my condolences." She heard from Bobby about their friend's death.
"He was so young." Sam never expected Devon to go out like that. He and Dean were currently trying to find his killer.
"It never gets easy." Jody gives Dean another hug. "How's Jenna?"
"Fine." Dean didn't want to talk about it. "She's still in Boston, she needs to be with her family at the moment." Dean didn't want to leave her by herself, but she practically threw him out. She needed to grieve alone with her parents.
Sam cleared his throat.
"Ahem. This case, what is so unusual about it."
"Right. A witness, Slim, he says he seen everything." She gestures to the diner where the latest victim went missing. "He'll tell you everything."
Jody smiles at the homeless man that walked in.
"Slim, mind telling us what you saw last night?"
Slim was shaken. He lived on the streets for years, but what he saw scared him all the way down to his soul.
"A blue flame." He stares down at his coffee cup. He saw the looks the cops gave him, already they considered him crazy.
"A blue flame." Sam was a witch, he wondered if a witch was behind everything.
Slim nods.
"Honor, she was so nice. She gave me meatloaf and leftovers every night. My cats, they eat like kings." He sighs. "I saw it. The fire that took her." He lifts his arms way up high. "I was too far away, but I seen the flame. It hurt when I stared at it." He looked back down, his hands holding on to his cup.
All three exchanged glances.
"Thanks for your time." Dean hands him some bills. Slim nods and leaves the diner.
"Any ideas? Sam?" Sam had tons of magical knowledge.
Sam shrugged.
"I wish I could tell you more."
"Other than Honor, Jody what can you tell us about the other three." Dean asked.
"I looked it up." Jody takes out her phone. "All four were members of a local church. You think Michael has something to do with this?" She heard of the archangel, Claire says he was directly responsible for killing all the whitelighters.
"Douchebag? Not his usual MO." Dean hated that bastard. "Sam, are any of them former whitelighters, or in line to be whitelighters?"
"Members of a church, I can check it out. But Slim did say he saw blue fire. Dragon?" Dragons usually kidnapped virgins for their sacrifices.
"Whoa. Dragons?" If Jody's dreams weren't bad enough.
"Never mind. What about the families?"
"That's next on my list. What about you two?"
Sam and Dean shrug. When Dean looked up and saw a beautiful blonde walking by carrying a bible, he had a revelation.
"Sam, you want to restore our faith?"
Later that evening, both men were sitting in a church office. Since this was a small town, this church was one of the few that attracted new worshippers, since it was the only one that offered a unique program.
"The Good Faith Church. Sam, you feel like confessing?" Dean didn't care about organized religion, especially churches, but since Devon's death, he needed to cleanse his soul.
"Not really." Sam remembered the Trails. How close he came to dying. When the church secretary walked in, both straightened in their seats.
"Sorry about that. One of our members, she always forgets to close the doors. Now, how can I help you?"
Sam cleared his throat.
"Ahem. My brother and I, we..."
"Lost our path. Sam here, he lost someone close to him, and someone close to me passed away recently."
"I'm sorry. I'll send prayers for you both."
"Thanks. Miss Futchko..." Sam began.
"Bonnie. Please." Bonnie smiles a demure smile.
"Bonnie, we like to join your church. We are lost souls, that need to heal ourselves." Dean ignored Sam's raised eyebrows.
"Of course. We have a evening service this Wednesday, you are welcome to join. Is there anything else?"
Dean was about to stand up, till a sign catches his eyes.
"The APU?" Dean wondered if the four had something to do with that group.
Bonnie looked behind her.
"Our chastity group. It's for those that are saving their bodies for a Higher Power."
"Higher Power huh." He exchanged knowing looks with Sam.
"That group, since we are members of the church, is there anyway to sit in it? To see if it's meant for us?" Sam was wondering if Michael or a dragon were behind those disappearances.
"Oh I'm afraid it's members only." She smiles apologetically at them both. "Things can get very personal."
"Then count us in!" Dean saw Sam giving him a odd stare. When she stared at their wedding rings, Dean cleared his throat. "My wife, she threw me out. I, ahem, can't, you know." Dean's face was pink.
"And I'm nearly single. I had a wondering eye. At least four." Sam's face was bright red.
"I see." She cleared her throat. "This is a place of love and forgiveness. I'll get the paperwork." She smiles at both and goes to the next room.
"Really Dean?" Sam knew they were fighting, but a chastity vow?
"Its a case." Dean refused to say why he and Jenna were fighting. He vowed to make it up to her, flowers? Or jewellery. When she came back, both sat up.
"Here you go. A pledge of your purity vows." She hands them both a clipboard with a virginity clause on it.
"Um, thanks." The paper was a contract saying that their bodies were pure and untainted. Sam was embarrassed, he hated lying.
"To pledge yourselves to God. To stay virgins." Bonnie tells them.
Dean smiles a rueful smile.
"And just like that, we'll be pure again?" When she nodded, Dean signed the paper. "Will this count? Even though we broke our vows?"
Sam wondered about that himself. He felt so lost these days, like he was missing something.
"This is a place of forgiveness. Say your prayers, and you will be forgiven in God's eyes. Just take a vow of chastity, and you'll be whole again." Bonnie tells them.
"Just like that. We'll be virgins." Dean wanted to say something else, but he signed the paper.
"Sam?" Bonnie was giving Sam a curious look.
"Oh, right." He hoped he was forgiven. He signs as well.
"Excellent! You are now pure in His eyes. Welcome to the church!" Bonnie said in a cheerful tone.
Deep underground, a scared woman was searching for something, anything. She had her taser, but other than the light, she was completely blind.
'Where am I?' She didn't recognize this place. She was about to go left, when she heard whimpering.
"Hello?" She knew she was putting herself in danger by speaking out loud, but she was lost and terrified.
"Help."
Honor wanted to turn around, but she had the feeling to go forward.
Good Faith Church
Sam and Dean felt self conscious when they walked in the room. There were six women, and all six were staring at them with curiosity.
"Howdy ladies." Dean had no words, the blonde, she was the woman he saw back at the diner.
"Sam, Dean, glad you made it." Bonnie was gesturing to the table of snacks. "We have a few minutes, have a cup of juice." She ignored Tammy who was giving her a dirty look.
"That's for after the meeting!" She hissed. She kept a close eye on the supplies.
"The Lord shares. Be nice." She scolded. She smiled at her new guests. "Take any seat you like, we will begin shortly."
Once everyone sat down, Bonnie introduced Sam and Dean to everyone. She then held a hand out towards the blonde.
"Welcome back everyone." The blonde smiles at the two men. "We look like we have two new guests today. But before we start our meeting, I like to start a prayer for our missing friends."
Dean was trying hard not to roll his eyes. He and Sam knew what God was like, an Asshole. These missing people, He gave no shits about them. He gave Sam a dirty look when Sam cleared his throat.
'Whatever.' He closed his eyes. Might as well find out how to make things right with his wife.
Once the prayer ended, the blonde introduced herself.
"Amen."
"Amen."
"Welcome. My name is Suzy. You already met Bonnie, and this is Tammy, and..." Once she introduced everyone, she started the meeting. "Does anyone have something to share?" Suzy had to keep her face neutral as Tammy raised her hand.
"I wrote a verse, called Sex is a Racket, and God Ball is in Your Court." She worked hard all night on this verse, she was very proud of it.
"And we like to hear that, later." Suzy must have heard different verses every week. She lost a few members already. She looked at Sam. "Sam, Dean. What brings you both here?" She was curious. They were good looking guys, seeing the wedding rings, she wondered if they were changing their sinful ways.
"Well." Sam looked nervous. "I came to make things right. I, I broke my vows when I...Ahem." His face was pink.
"He had no soul." Dean saw everyone exchanging looks.
Suzy's face was neutral, she had her fair shades of cheaters.
"This is a place of love and acceptance. Stay strong, stay pure."
"Stay strong, stay pure." Everyone else chants.
"Dean, what about you? What brings you here."
Dean was going to give a honest speech about sex, but when he saw a glint of light on his hand, he changed his mind.
"I made a lot of mistakes in my life. I mean tons. Sex, booze, stealing, you name it. If it felt good, I indulged. A lot." He looked down. "Then I met my wife. When she beat me at pool, I knew she was the one. Then I screwed it all up." Dean stared at the floor. "I did something. Something terrible. My wife, I don't think she'll ever forgive me." The room was dead quiet. "I don't know if this place is for me, but I'm willing to give it a shot. My V card, maybe it's a start."
"What was that about?" Sam asked. "You didn't, did you?" They were standing by the snack table, the meeting ended a few minutes ago.
"I don't want to talk about it." Dean points at Suzy. "She look familiar to you?"
"Suzy? Who is she?"
"I swore I seen her before."
"Don't." Sam warned.
Dean scoffs.
"Please. I'm just saying hello." He walks towards Suzy. Sam was about to leave when he got tapped by Bonnie.
"Hey." He greets her.
"So how was your first day?" Bonnie asks with a smile.
"Good." He finished swallowing his juice. "I, I was thinking about the people that are missing."
"Yeah. Honor. Poor thing. She was my favourite." She didn't see Tammy giving her a sharp look. "I pray for her and the others every night." Seeing a overweight member sneaking extra cookies, she excuses herself.
Sam was throwing his cup in the garbage when Tammy tapped him.
"Honor? Please. She has no clue what Honor is really like."
"Really? Tammy right? Let's talk over here, and tell me about Honor."
Dean was trying hard not to flirt, but he couldn't help himself.
"Los Angeles? New York? I swear I know you from somewhere."
"Both cities have millions of people. I just have one of those faces." No way she was telling him what she was really doing in both cities.
"Hmm." Dean was racking his brains. He worked in Hollywood, maybe she was a extra in Jenna's movie.
"You're new in town right?"
"Me? Yeah. Really new. Especially this chastity thing." He smiled charmingly at her, making her blush.
"I'm sure your wife will appreciate that." She liked Dean, but he was married. "I gotta get home, I have a early shift in the morning."
"With a kidnapper on the loose? Let me walk you home at least."
Sam was listening in exasperated silence at Tammy's rambling.
"Oreo cookies! I always bring homemade. Our bake sales deserve better." Seeing Dean, Sam apologizes.
"That's too bad. Excuse me." He walks up to Dean who was grinning.
"Guess who's taking the research home." He looks back at Suzy who was putting on her coat. "Don't wait up."
"Okay, is Jenna okay with it?" Dean's smile falls.
"I'll be on my best behaviour. I swear." He holds up his hand.
"Don't screw up. Remember we are working."
"Yeah. Yeah." He pats Sam on the back. "Tell Jody to have a good night." Once he and Suzy left, he walked back to Tammy.
"You were saying?"
"Honor is going to Hell." Tammy deadpans.
Huh. She was reading the FacePage of the town's citizens. Most of their pages were public, which was surprising these days.
"So much for privacy." Most of the messages left was sending prayers and well wishes. There was a few messages she was reading, she managed to hack into their pages. Damn. "So much for vows." There were steamy messages exchanged between Honor and the pastor. Then the missing couple, he was trying to explain that thirty seconds didn't count. When she saw the door open, she greeted Sam. "Hey! How was church?"
"Full of secrets." He and Jody exchanged notes.
"So not virgins."
"Just those that broke their vows. So dragons are out."
"Dragons? Never mind. You're a witch, any ideas?"
"Make yourself comfortable. I'll be back." Dean forced himself to look away, she was wearing a tight camisole when she took off her hoodie.
'I'll be good.' He looked up. He jumped when his phone buzzed. Seeing the name, he reluctantly rejected the call. He quickly put his phone away when he saw Suzy walking in wearing what he had to assume was her comfortable clothes.
"Dean, you mind praying with me? My friends. I'm worried sick about them."
"Ah, sure." He sat beside her, being careful not to get too close.
"This is Dean's other, other, cell. You know what to do." BEEP
Sam was about to leave a message, then realized he couldn't.
"She's gonna kill him." Jenna already called Sam, demanding why Dean was ignoring her calls. Both of Dean's cells were full.
"Don't blame her." She shuts the laptop. "Sam. Can I ask you something?"
"Shoot." Sam was trying to try sending a text.
"I know this isn't my business, but you and Piper. What exactly happened?" She saw Sam's shoulders sag.
"I did something I wasn't supposed to do."
"What was her name?"
"Them. There were more than one." Sam's face was pink.
"Oh." She cleared her throat. "Maybe we should get back to work."
Back at Suzy's apartment, she was telling Dean about her past in porn. She was embarrassed when Dean found her personal DVD.
"Dean? Are you okay?" Dean was smiling with nervousness.
"Me? I...I'm fine...Carmelita." Dean saw Suzy turning red with embarrassment.
"My past. Yeah. That's a period of my life I don't feel like talking about." She didn't have a choice back then, she needed to eat.
"Are you kidding? You, you are a freaking legend!" Dean watched a lot of porn, but he was a fan. "You and Belle, wow. That taco scene." Dean, remembering his stint as a porn lookalike, clears his throat. "Don't worry, I won't tell a soul."
Suzy looked relieved.
"Thanks. If you need a new counsellor, I can get someone else."
"No, that's okay." Dean wanted to say something else, but he was on very thin ice with his wife. "What made you leave? You were a star!" Suzy won tons of awards for her work, especially when her work in 'Vacation With Benefits' with Belladonna.
"I was really messed up as a kid. My mom, she was never around, and I ran with a rough crowd. I ran away when I was sixteen, I had to do what I had to do to survive. Then I auditioned for a movie." She sighs. "My first movie, I was a fresh eighteen year old, and a virgin."
Dean squirmed uncomfortably.
"My first time was no picnic. We were almost caught by her dad." Dean looked embarrassed when she giggled.
"I doubt anyone's first time is perfect." She smiles as Dean. "You love her?"
"Always." Dean looked at his hand. "She deserves better, way better." He and Suzy sit in silence, with nothing more to say.
"How about a coffee, and a cold shower."
Honor was walking in the direction of the sounds, when she tripped hard over a large bump.
"Ow!" Her ankle. "Ohhhh." When her eyes adjusted, she saw his outline. "Freddie?" The pastor was laying still on the ground. When he started moaning, she jumped backwards in fear.
"Honor?" He rasped. "Help. Please. So thirsty."
When she saw a lantern, she screamed.
"Neil? Barb? What's, what's going on? What's wrong with him?" Pastor Fred was moaning in pain. The missing couple, they looked so weak.
"He's dying of hunger." Neil felt bad for him, the pastor was already here when they arrived a few days ago. Based on his condition, he didn't have anymore time left.
"How? Who did this?" Honor wondered.
"I don't know." Barb, she pushed Neil backwards when she saw a blue flame. The same flame that kidnapped them.
Honor closed her eyes, when she opened them, she was surprised to see Fred gone.
"Fred?" Oh god. "Fred?" She looked around. "Where is he?" When she heard his bloodcurdling screams, she jumped.
'Sam.'
"Please, give me some time." Sam, he knew what he needed to do. But he had to finish this case.
"I'm typing as fast as I can." Jody scolded. "Hmm."
"What." Sam goes over to her.
"Every person that goes missing, they were members of that chastity group." Jody should have seen it. "When they broke their vows, they disappeared in blue fire."
"I think I know what we're dealing with." He throws on his jacket. "Call Dean, let him know what's going on." He hurries out of the room.
Suzy was smiling across at Dean.
"You are the first guy that didn't want to sleep with me." Every man she met, when they found out who she was treated her like a piece of meat. "My past in porn, it was like a noose." She actually liked sex, she wasn't as ashamed of her past like she claimed.
"Don't I know it." He remembered how everyone looked at him as 'Belle.' Ugh. "Trust me, I won't treat you any different than any women I met."
"¿Eres un Chico malo?" Suzy teased. Dean's face turned pink.
"Fiel." He would never cheat.
"Good boy." She finishes her coffee. "Don't screw it up." Before either could do anything, her apartment door blew open. Both Dean and Suzy were thrown backwards. Before either could react, both vanish in a blue flame.
Honor was watching as Barb scratches the underground wall, her fingernails red and bloody.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm so thirsty, please." She was so dehydrated. When she saw her blood, she hungrily drinks it. Honor looked away, she knew if they aren't found soon, it would be her turn next.
Neil looked away in disgust. All three jumped when their jail opened.
Both Dean and Suzy fall down into the pit.
Suzy groaned when she woke up. Seeing Dean unconscious, she shook him awake.
"Dean. Dean! Wake up!" Dean opened his eyes in confusion.
"Where are we?" Dean asked when he saw three people staring at him.
"Hell." Neil deadpans.
"The hell are you Dean." She called Sam several times, her calls went unanswered. As for Dean, straight to voicemail. Bored, she went back to her laptop.
"Gotcha." She was a cop, she can solve this herself. She puts on her coat and rushes out.
Dean was struggling as he tries unsuccessfully to escape.
"We already tried that. Don't bother." Neil, Fred, they both did everything. Even digging.
"Are we gonna run out of air?" If this was her punishment for her past, plus everyone else here, He was really strict with honor and chastity.
"No. Whoever took us wants us to suffer." Neil, he had to convince Barb not to commit suicide. "It wants us to go out nice and slow."
"Its gonna take us, like Pastor Fred." Honor, she felt terrible.
"What is." There has to be a opening. Dean will find one.
"The blue flame. It took us. And it will take you."
"Bobby!" Jody was on the phone, she was sitting on her SUV. "Is there anything you can tell me about Vesta. Yeah, that Vesta. The lore. No. I don't want her background, just her weakness. She disappeared when the ancient gods lost their magic. Uh, huh. Thanks Bobby." She hangs up her cell. She had a virgin to see.
"Son of a bitch!" Dean swore. He must have circled several times in this hellhole.
"Dean. Maybe, maybe, this is our punishment. For what we did." She and Dean never broke their vows, but maybe it didn't count.
"Trust me. He has better things to worry about." Wait a minute. He was so glad John was paranoid. He made sure Dean and Sam were well trained. "Gotcha." He had a smart phone, but he always had a flip phone for emergencies. His smartphone was gone, but he had a hidden pocket in his jacket. "C'mon." He needed a signal.
Jody was outside of the church when her cell rang.
"Hello?"
"Is Sam with you?" The phone was full of static. Jody had a hard time understanding Dean.
"Where are you?"
"I... can't...hold...Sam. Not...ring. Under..." Click.
"Dean? Dean? Dammit!" She managed to hear a snippet in a background. She called Bobby back. "Bobby. I need a favour. Can you check if there are any underground bunkers by a train station." She heard a train whistle before Dean got cut off. "Where the hell are you Sam?" She wondered out loud.
Dean shoved Neil on the wall when he suggested they sacrifice Honor.
"Look. That, thing, it's after the weakest." Honor was sitting on a cot with a sore ankle. "We give her up, we live."
"Neil!" Barb was horrified by his suggestion. But she was desperate. She looked at Dean. "We been here without food or water for nearly a week. I don't know how long I can take it." She was willing to sacrifice herself to get the hell out of here. Hopefully her death was quick. But she knew Neil, he wouldn't allow it.
"No one is doing anything!" Dean shoved him hard. "I've been in worse situations. Now shut the hell up, or you'll be suffering more than a sprained ankle."
Jody was trying unsuccessfully to convince Tammy to give her some of her blood.
"My blood? Are you a satanist? A pagan?" She heard stories about Sioux Falls. "What kind of game are you playing?" She put down her jar, she was running the food drive the next day. "Ow! What the fudge!" When Jody punched her. "I'm calling the cops!"
"I am the cops." She already had her stake, her napkin soaked from Tammy's bleeding nose. She had to hurry to the old Wimmer farm.
Honor was spinning her purity ring on the table.
"You broke your vow? Don't blame you." Suzy wondered if it was worth it, she missed feeling the warmth of a male body on her. Shame Dean was married. Even she drew the line on affairs. Wonder if he had single male friends? "I kept my vow, and still ended up here." She looked at Dean. "Sorry to drag you in this."
"I'm doing a favour for a friend. I'm just a collateral." The hell was Sam? Dean was trying unsuccessfully to use Honor's ring on the screw. When the ring bent, he swore.
"Will you shut up! That thing will hear you!" Neil shouts. Fuck it, he'll be the lamb, just as long as Barb was safe. When he heard noises, he pushed Barb behind him.
"Hello? Is anyone in there?" Jody calls out.
"Jody?" Deana bangs on the metal lid. "We're in here!"
"Are you okay?"
"There are five of us, we need the paramedics!" Dean already bandaged up Honor's ankle, and checked over Neil and Barb. But all three needed to see a doctor.
Jody was nervous when she walked in the old barn. She hunted evil, but never alone. He just hoped Sam was close by. Pushing down her fear, she looks around the barn. Bobby told her the old owners made a underground bunker during the Cold War in the sixties. After the Wimmer family moved away, the barn was left abandoned. When Jody arrived, the old farm was overgrown by weeds. But, other than the occasional stoner who slept in the barn, no one has ever found the opening of the bunker. Until today. Jody found it by accident when she stepped on a wooden board.
"I'll get you outta there!" She was about to call for the fire department, when she was grabbed. When she saw who was holding her, she glared at the church secretary. "Is this how you kidnap your victims? With that fake purity crap?"
Vesta/Bonnie pinned Jody on a beam. Taking off her leather glove, her finger glowed blue like fire.
"Jody? Jody! Dammit!" Dean had to get outta there. He climbs down the ladder. "You two! You have your rings?"
"Pretty pathetic for a goddess." She was being held up. She glanced at her stake that was laying uselessly on the floor. She grimaced in pain when Vesta punched her. "What's wrong, pure virgins weren't enough?"
"Pfft. Times changed. I was worshipped! Celebrated! For centuries I dined. People everywhere gave their virgins to me! As a reward, I gave them a good harvest. Then that hippie came."
"I thought it was Prometheus that took your power away." Jody heard the story from Dean.
"Does it matter! I was forced to adjust! And for what? Luckily you humans are so predictable. In these times, I'll take what I can get." She didn't care if Jody didn't take her vows, food was food.
"Almost got it." Dean had to stop Jody, before it was too late. "Sammy. Please." He had to hurry.
Jody screamed when Vesta stabbed her on the shoulder.
"So much for your virgin blood. Once the unpure touches it, it neutralizes the weapon." Vesta glares at Jody. "The liver is the only thing that is pure. Why, it cleans you. I could see why the birds dined on Prometheus every night." She yelled as Sam grabbed her.
"Tenere!" (To Hold!) Sam used his magic to hold Vesta in place. "Your fire." He ordered.
Vesta smirked.
"Your wife still missing? What's the matter, the sisterly bond is broken? What a shame." She smirked. She kidnapped Dean to draw out his brother. "The First Witch, she is close to finding her. And her baby. It's too late. Even I'm powerless against her."
"I don't care. Give me your fire, and I'll let you live."
Vesta smirked. Before Sam could do anything, she grabbed Jody's stake and uses her own virginal blood and fire to kill herself.
"Arghhhh!" She screamed as she died in blue fire.
Dean climbs out to see Sam sitting on the ground in helplessness.
The next day, Jody was saying goodbye to the brothers. Her arm was in a sling, she she knew she'll out of commission for awhile.
"Sam. I'm sorry." All this time, she thought she stumbled on a case. Sam, he came here to retrieve Vesta's fire. It was the only way to track down his wife who was still missing.
"We'll find her. I swear." Jenna, she gave Dean a free pass. Piper, she was due any day.
"I know." Sam, he did find a clue. The First Witch, she was after Piper. He had to find her, or track down where she was going; and get there before she does. "You need a ride?" There was no way Jody can drive with one arm.
Somewhere in the North West
"Where are we?" Piper asked William. The guy who found her in that old house. She saw a house by a lake. "I would be safer with my sisters." The Power of Three, no one could hurt them. He must have read her mind, he chuckled.
"Believe me. Your magic is your weakness at the moment. That's how that demon found you." William stops his borrowed truck. "It's perfectly safe here, there are anti runes everywhere. You are completely invisible here."
"No magic? But..." She saw William shaking his head.
"Trust me, you're better off." He opens his door. "You must be hungry. I can prepare lunch." He was about to get out, till Piper grabs his arm.
"I'm not going anywhere till I know what's going on."
William grimaces in pain.
"Okay." He looks straight at her. "You are in danger."
"No shit." Piper swore to kill Ruby. Bitch was the one responsible for her disappearance.
"She was a hired hand, the one she was working for is far more dangerous."
"God?"
"Neena."
"Who?"
"The First Witch."
Piper was staring at him in confusion.
"What does she want with me?" There was far more powerful witches out there. Rowena was strong. She was in hiding, only Phoebe knew how to get a hold of her.
William sighed.
"You heard of the disappearing witches?" When Piper nodded, William looked out the front window. "She wants to release magic to the world. Mortals, they will have unlimited power."
Piper just stared at him in disbelief.
"Why?"
"Long ago, during the Beginning, a couple were walking in a forest. They liked to explore."
"Get to the point." Piper felt a kick.
"Right. Ahem. She and her mate, they found a Nexus."
"How many are there?" She knew of two. Her family guarded the one at the Manor. She had no clue if the one in Lawrence was active. It was destroyed in the alternative universe, but the one here was unknown.
"Five. Anyways, she and her mate found themselves in a mysterious place. There, they became The First Witch, and The First Hunter."
"Wait a minute. I thought she gave birth to twins. They were the Firsts. No?" When William shook his head.
"She did have twins, a girl and a boy. The girl was born a witch, and the boy a warlock."
"Then why does she need my baby?"
"None of her descendants were eligible. She is getting desperate. She believes everyone needs to arm themselves."
"Then she doesn't know human nature. Everyone will destroy each other." Humans, they were really immature.
William nodded.
"I seen it. Other worlds, they were destroyed before God or His children could get to them. Heaven, Hell, they had no choice but to kill everyone."
"I can bond my baby's powers." Piper didn't want to, but if it meant her baby was safe, she'll do anything.
"That won't be enough. Your bloodline, it is one of the keys."
"Then I'll kill her." Piper didn't know how, but she'll figure it out.
"She cannot be killed. Nothing will."
"Than what."
"It's getting late, come inside, you need food and rest."
San Francisco, California
"Argh!" Phoebe threw down her crystal.
"Any luck?"
"Richard and I worked our asses off. Whoever is hiding Piper is very well skilled in magic."
Both sisters were at the Montana Estate, since they were down a sister, they needed help.
"We managed to find her location in Massachusetts, unfortunately she was long gone according to my witchy contacts."
"I'll call Jenna." Paige picks up her cell.
"Then where could she be?" It was dangerously close to Piper's due date. "We are on borrowed time here." Phoebe and Paige were worried sick. They tried contacting Prue, but she didn't return any of their emails or messages. "Any luck?" When Paige hung up.
"I left a message. I don't really want to bother her." Poor Jenna was grieving hard, neither sister wanted to disturb her.
"Yeah, Dean is on the road with Sam. Laura, she needs her parents right now." She looked at the map, and in frustration, rips it off the table.
"Paige?" Richard was looking up from his book.
"Hmm?" Paige was stumped.
"That hunter website, you ever checked it out?"
"Richard, you are a genius!" Piper was a hunter, whenever she wasn't using magic. "Got a computer?" Why didn't she think of that?
Both Phoebe and Paige were checking out the website. It was on a hidden network, it was designed so no monster or demon can find it.
"Okay, I'm logged in." Phoebe was scrolling through the messages and entries from various hunters. "There's reports of dead cattle. All died in one night."
"Heat wave." Paige read that article.
"In the fall?" Global warning. "Okay, weird storms in the Middle East."
"Possibly. Hmm. Outbreaks of a deadly disease in Africa." Paige was fascinated on the blog. "Why don't witches do this?"
"Donno." She looked it over, one entry caught her eye.
'My name is Jinny, and I'm being held as a prisoner. I don't know who else to ask, I risk being executed by the demon that rules this place. My team of archaeologists were slaughtered when we opened a secret cave. This phone, I managed to take it from a dead comrade, unfortunately the battery is about to run out. If anyone is reading this, I'm the last survivor. Please. I'm somewhere in the Middle East, the demon that rules this place is searching for a lost city, and keeps moving around. Why he keeps me alive, I have no idea. Please. God bless.'
"Phoebe?" Paige read that message. "Piper comes first." She knew they were supposed to save innocents, but their sister needed them.
"I know." Reluctantly, Phoebe logs out. "Let's try again."
A Dark Cave in The Middle East
A lone woman was mediating in her prison, when she felt a jolt.
"Finally." She knew about the Warren Bloodline, she's been tracking the descendants for centuries. "She'll come." The empath, she'll free her. Then she could finally take her rightful throne.
