Forks looks colorful than ever, there wasn't a dark cloud in sight and the Meadows looks more greener, she could see raindrops falling off a leaf like a waterslide.

It's like looking at her surroundings in a different point of view. she felt a warm hand against her waist and looked up.

She smiled at Edward holding him around the shoulder and affectionately she gave him an Eskimo kiss.

The sun shines over Edward as they had their morning stroll, sparkling diamonds adorned him but she could see the smallest particle shine, He looks more beautiful than ever.

"Want to rest?" Edward asks.

"I'm not tired" Bella said.

" But you seem so spaced out in your thoughts, do you mind sharing what's on your mind?" Edward said and they joined hands.

"It's nothing.. I.. I felt I ruined such a great moment last time we were at the Meadows, seeing you like this always hold a sacred place in my memories" Bella said.

"I argued with you here, It was wrong of me to do that, but I was scared "Bella said and Edward cupped her face.

"Bella I never blamed you for being wary of my return, I left you behind to fend on your own, but we can't change what we did in the past but we can shape our future together" Edward said kindly.

Bella was happy inside, Edward is so understanding and kind, Bella blushed feeling like she wanted to kiss him.

"But I want to remember this place on a positive note," Bella said. Edward understood what she meant.

"Give me a moment" Edward said taking a step towards the area with no shadow, Bella watched on as he left his coat on the ground,

a sleeveless white unfastened blouse is underneath. Bella noticed it was the exact same blouse he wore when they went to the meadows the first time.

Like he knew another moment like this will be shared.

Edward entered the light and beckoned when Bella didn't seem to be moving,

Bella came to his side and wanted to push his blouse from his shoulders but stops midway. her excitement turned into guilt, they are friends now. And shouldn't be lusting over him like that.

"You're beautiful, as always" Bella said and held on to his hand as they continue walking.

Edward understood why she stopped, fearing that she grow attached to these memories and he'll leave once more. he has to get through to her.

"Bella, look" Edward said and Bella looked over her shoulder,

" Don't be scared, I will not hurt you again" Edward said.

"Can't we try?" Edward said holding her hand close to his heart.

"I won't leave you again please I need you to believe me just this once" Edward said.

" No," Bella kept her distance, "I didn't come here for this" Bella said.

"We are friends now, I want to stay friends" Bella said becoming upset.

"Ouch! Let go!" Bella squirmed when Edward had a firm grip on her wrist.

Belle became alarmed, Edward never handled her like this before. But then she noticed it wasn't his hold that caused the burning.

It was the bite mark.

"Bella" Just stop, you know we belong together" Edward said becoming irate.

"No leave me alone!" Bella shrieked terrified and turned sprinting away from him,.

Bella ran into the forest, she took a glance behind but Edward was no longer there,

In merely moments she arrived at a deserted looking village, there was no sound as she walked through the cloudy ghost town.

It was strange, before she arrived she could people working and chatter in a distance.

Bella breathed out calming down, she sat on a bench trying not to hyperventilate, her breathing slowed down, her hands felt cold and rested her throbbing head against her palms like a child that plays peekaboo.

then two blood soaked hands held on to hers moving them from her face.

She looked up, It was Edward he caught up with her within a split second.. like he wanted to calm her down.

fear struck her, her first thought was that he wanted to drink from her but then noticed her hands and face were smeared in blood too..

"Bella ?, Bella I'm here," a voice said in the atmosphere.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and swats it away,

"No!" Bella yelled and looked up at Edward shocked, they were in his house, his coat was draped over her as she was lied down on the living rooms couch.

"Did you had a nightmare?" Edward asks concerned.

"Did you change your outfit?"' Bella asks noticing he's not wearing the sleeveless shirt.

"Uh.. no.. should I?" Edward asks confused.

"But we didn't go to the forest?" Bella asks backing away from him.

"No," Edward said sitting next to her.

"you became a bit sleepy after dinner so I let you rest until you wake up" Edward said.

Bella looked outside and it was dark, the stars were present.

"So it was a dream" Bella said.

"Was It about me?" Edward asks, he noticed she's spooked and backed away to give her room to breathe.

"No" Bella lied, she smiled still feeling groggy.

"How long was I out?" Bella asks.

"An hour or two" Edward said.

"Thank you.. for waking me" Bella said.

" I uh.. I'll be ok" Bella said When concern didn't leave Edwards face.

" I had a wonderful day.." Bella said, "Dinner was great" shall I help with washing the dishes?"

"I already did those" Edward said.

"Oh but I told Carlisle I would.." Bella stuttered.

"You're a guest here," It's fine Bella" Edward smiled and helped her up.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Edward asks and Bella stared in his eyes, they were Melted Gold wishing that she would tell him what's wrong.

They weren't red, thank goodness.

"Yes" Bella said more convincing she smiled but Edward could still feel her hands tremble around his waist.

"May I know what happened?" Edward asks.

"Corpses, there were heaps of corpses when I ran away in the forest, Bella said.

When Edwards eyes turned red in the nightmare there were corpses of people laying around, Those humans weren't from forks. Edward drank from humans in the nightmare.. but so did she.. it was terrifying.

She walked to a nearby mirror and checked her eyes, it really was just a disturbing dream.. nothing more.

"I do get those a lot, ever since I'm on anti depressant medications" Bella said walking back.

Edward became saddened, looking away.

"Hush, this is not your doing" Bella said.

"But it sure feels like it" Edward said his voice started to break like he's on the verge of tears.

"No no.. it's okay, " Bella said.

"Its not okay, stop saying that!" This is my fault.. I'm the reason why you're on those pills... it's not Charlie's death.. it's me" Edward said.

Bella realizes she can't fool him, he knows that the nightmare was about him. And she can't say anything that would prove that wrong.

Listen, I am depressed but it's not because of you.. it's because mentally I'm not very strong" Bella said.

"Bella.." Edward Said disapproving.

"Really it is.." I've always been very feeble.."

"No Listen to me..." Edward said, he kept his voice down but the tone was dead serious.

"You're one of the strongest women I know" "You had to grow up quickly to look after your mother, you became your fathers caregiver when he got ill, I walked away from you when you needed me the most" Edward said.

You have endured so much hardships in your short life but yet you keep on going, you've never slowed down or gave up."

"Please, don't discredit yourself by saying you are weak.. because you are not " Edward said.

"I love you Bella," Edward said.

Bella nodded not making eye contact anymore.

She did not believe him still , she was hesitating to say that.. it shows there is still no trust, but It's fine, With a kiss on her forehead Edward brought her home. He stayed with her until she fell asleep, singing to her while holding her hand.

Bella slept peaceful, still holding on to him as Edward listens to her inhale, hopefully she dreams of them together.

Edward placed his shoes close to the bed and laid next to her, when he heard the birds chirp he new it was dawn, from her window he could see all kinds of colors. of the sun breaking through, a new has come.. hopefully new opportunities to grow closer to each other.

Edward glanced over Bella, she laid nestled in the comforter, He wished he could sleep, When he was a new born he could sleep but as days went by falling asleep became harder until his human blood disappeared from his system, that was the last time he left like a human.

He'll leave now, he would always stay out longer but he returns every morning so that his mother could be at peace.

Jacob came back after 2 days being abroad, He applied for the University in Hawaii, and got accepted. It was very hard but he made it. They will have to leave the reservation because of the floods and in Hawaii they will reestablish, with a better life. He'll miss La Push a little but as long as Bella comes with him he can live anywhere on Earth.

So far no mayhem while he was away, and Bella is probably preparing his dinner, he missed seeing her and Seth was the first one to notice him,

Seth was jubilant and Leah watched them interact and walked towards them, this Bella person needs to go away.

"Jae" Seth said happy and came up to him.

"Hi" Jacob Said friendly and picked him up.

"How did it go Jae?" Seth said.

"Great, soon our new life will start" Jacob said.

" I'm looking forward to Hawaii, I'm tired of this weather," Seth said.

"I'm going to miss it, the fog, constant raining, large forest I can hide in, away from humans as a Werewolf but I'm sure Hawaii will accommodate new safe haven." Jacob said.

"Jae, I can pace at will now, no stupid vampire has to be near" Seth said and piped down right away, he forgot that his friend Edward is a vampire. One of the nice ones.

"You Can show me later" Jacob Said.

Leah was standing in the distance with her arms crossed and Jacob wondered what she wants.

"Hey Leah" Jacob said nonchalant.

"Where are you heading off to?" Leah asked.

" None of your concern," Jacob said.

" Well it is, I want that leech lover off the reservation" Leah said.

Jacob shot her a furious look and placed Seth down. " Her name is Bella, you don't get to talk about her like that"

" She's one of us weather you want that or not" Jacob added.

But Leah smiled slightly conceding. " Well not anymore"

Jacob eyed her wanting to yell at her, But he's tired from the jet lag and just wants to lay in bed with Bella.

" Just leave me alone" Jacob said walking away.

" When Bella came to the reservation the others noticed she smelled like those horrible blood suckers," Leah said.

" No, don't" Seth panickily said.

Jacob eyed Seth and knew Seth is trying to keep Leah be quiet about something.

" He should know Seth" Leah.

" should know what?" what aren't you telling me?" Jacob barked and Seth cowered slightly.

but kept quiet, he didn't want to rat his new friend out.

"Seth, let's have a word" Jacob said and held his hand assuming he'll talk to him when they are out of Leah's sight.

" It seems like Bella is back with the Leech" Leah said.

"What do you mean back with that Vampire?" Jacob said, and Seth wanted to tug Jacob away from Leah but the truth will come out, Jacob pushed Seth behind him.

"Well it looks like you got some competition, or you were not even a suitable partner to her.. maybe an Emotional clutch" Leah said shrugging.

"I swear to God Leah, if you don't hold your lying tongue I'll rip it out" Jacob warned.

"Do not disrespect her like this again" Jacob said but Leah noticed a hint of hurt in his iris. Like his nightmare came true but he's covering it up with hostility.

"Seth saw them together" Leah added when Jacob was ready to drag her off the reservation for provoking him like this.

"You know that he never lies to you" Leah said,

"Go on Seth, tell him what you've seen"

Seth seemed to be hyperventilating wishing he could calm both of them down.

Jacob became reddish like he doesn't want to pace and go up with with his pack to kill all the Cullen's.

" Please Don't hurt Edward, He's a great friend of mine" Seth immediately interrupted.

" Friend?" Jacob snaps and his features lit up grim, Seth gulped and pressed his lips together.

" You are lying, both of you" Bella would never do such a thing" Jacob said.

" They locked lips at the meadows" Leah said,

" And she spends a lot of time with him after you left"

"That doesn't sound like she hates him" Leah said.

"Why not take a good sniff at her before his scent fades off, go on I dare you" Leah said and felt her confidence rise when Jacob stopped being angry.

Jacob stepped back feeling hurt but still he wanted to hold on to a small thread that Bella wouldn't betray him like this.

"Is this true Seth?" Jacob asked calm like he lost his will to live.

Seth stared at him saddened and that look told Jacob enough, It is the truth.

Once again Bella has chosen that Leech over the ones who has never hurt her.

Vampires are incapable of love, while he loved Bella with every fiber of his being and would die for her.

"Jae" Seth squeaked but Jacob ignored. When he walked away Seth could see a tear fall down.

Seth felt like he ruined so much but he never thought Leah would do such a thing.

"Leah how could you? I thought I could trust you with this" Seth said.

"If Jacob's mate is not right for him, he has a right to know Seth, when you find your own you'll understand" Leah said.

Jacob promised that he would never leave her but Bella crossed a line. She promised him that she would never choose the Cullen's over her friends and new family again but she did. He trusted her and felt like a hole was punched in his gut.

Jacob went to their house on the reservation, wishing this is just a silly dream but Bella wasn't there, she didn't wait for his return.

No food has been prepared and most of her clothing is gone, After all they went through she's willing to throw it away for a bastard who left her for dead.

If she becomes a vampire then he hopes she'll be happy with that leech because he will no longer show himself around her again.

Jacob just can't seem to collect himself too many things are rushing through his mind, he has to see Bella for answers.
