A/N: DISCLAIMER: Heavy and Sexual Themes. You have been warned. There are so many FanFiction's that have been written to fill in the space between the end of Season Six, and the beginning of Season Seven of The Mentalist. I have read many of them, and I love them all. This is what came from my head, after re-watching The Mentalist. With all that in mind, this is my little mini-series following the two weeks in between the two seasons. This will be a mini-series, starting with the first five chapters, covering the Two-Week Honeymoon Period. I hope that you enjoy this story. JusticeIsn'tEasy0083.

The Two-Week Honeymoon Period

Chapter One: The Hijack Aftermath

*Picks up right after Jane tells Lisbon he loves her on the plane, her choice to leave the plane, and what happens between the end of season six, and the beginning of season seven*

July 15th, 2015

Flight 1342 Washington DC

Miami International Airport

Miami, Florida

10:06pm

She watched him as he was led off the plane by the TSA agent, still shouting that he loves her from the far end of the plane. For so long, she had been waiting to hear Jane tell her his true feelings, and from what she could tell through the shock of what was happening, he was letting his guard down. It sounded real, but she couldn't tell if he really meant it. How was she ever going to know? For so many years, he had lied, and tricked people, and hidden behind all these walls. He had hurt her, sometimes to protect her yes, but also just sometimes because he was hurting himself, and in order to protect himself from those feelings, he had to lash out at the people around him, who cared about him. He has apologised for those instances, and she forgives him. They had talked about what happened after Red John, when he came back from the island, and yes, she had been furious that he had made her pickup her (albeit) boring life in Washington, and move to Austin to work with him again, but they had somewhat returned to their friendship, but she had noticed that he was lighter. The weight of the world wasn't on his shoulders. He had no pain holding him back, Red John was gone. He was able to move on with his life, let his family rest in peace, and she had seen that transformation. It had made her happy, to see him finally let himself be happy. Now, as he pulled yet another of his stupid schemes, opening cold cases to get her to stay… she had been mad, because it was yet another trick. But that moment, seeing that vulnerability in his eyes when he was telling her that he loves her, that it 'feels so good to be able to say that', that he was 'scared, for obvious reasons', and only she knew what they were. The woman beside her had said that everyone else would be 'green with envy' at the display, but Lisbon couldn't believe it. She would have to ask Jane if he meant it. She had said that it was too late, and he had accepted that, just 'needing to get to that'. Her heart was beating faster, it was aching for Jane. All thoughts of her life with Marcus in DC had vanished, and in fact when she thought about it… she felt dread. For a moment, she was suspended above her body, whilst her head and heart screamed at her to stand up, go to Jane, she was stuck. Then suddenly, she wasn't.

Lisbon bolted to her feet, apologising to the woman beside her, but everyone was clapping and cheering her on (which was strange, but understandable). She grabbed her bag from the overhead compartment and thanked the people around her. The stewardess asked her if there was a problem, they had grounded the plan for the moment, whilst luggage was loaded, and of course, whilst they diffused the situation with Jane. She had told the woman that she needed to exit the plane. If she had to make a scene, she would no doubt, but when the rest of the people who were in her row started making a ruckus, the stewardess opened the door, letting Lisbon exit, and telling her that her luggage will be returned to the airport, but Lisbon didn't hear her. She bolted down the steps, almost tripping over as she ran back towards the airport and hoped that her FBI status would get her into the TSA holding room, where she knows they'll have Jane, interrogating him. I love you Teresa, you have no idea how good it feels to say that… It played in her head over and over, she had a permanent smile on her face, happy tears were breaching her eyes, but she wouldn't let them fall. She burst into the airport, stopping the first worker she saw, flashing her FBI credentials and asking him to take her to the TSA holding room. She followed the man down a myriad of hallways, until they finally reached the backrooms, and she showed her credentials again. She saw Jane, sitting at the table, leg raised on the chair, just looking into nothing. After she was given permission to enter, she did, sitting opposite the table. Jane looked over at her, she watched his expression briefly, then made some joke about this being 'another fine pickle he'd gotten himself into'… Teresa you're such a dork… she thought to herself. But she had to know. She had to know if he was being serious. If she had made the right choice. Finally, she got out the question: did you mean what you said? He looked at her, then replied yes, I meant every word. Her heart jumped into her throat, and began beating faster again, she was screaming inside herself, 'YES, I FEEL THE SAME!'. She must have said this because Jane muttered something about that being 'lucky'. She was indulging in this moment. They have a lot to talk about… of course, they are always going to have things to discuss, and it's not going to be easy. They've been friends for years, and through that time, they have been through a lot together. But she wants this. For the first time in her life, she has it right in front of her, the man she has always loved, but knew could never love her back until Red John was gone, and then he left… and now he's sitting here, telling her that he loves her.

'Say it again,' she almost whispers, smiling at him, but Jane doesn't speak, instead he hoists himself up, and moves towards her, she feels him lift her chin slightly, her eyes close and then she feels it, their lips meet in their first ever kiss, and she can't believe the fireworks that go off .There is a banging on the window, then the TSA agent is shouting for them to 'stop that', and as much as she wants to keep going, she knows that Jane is in a lot of trouble and doesn't want him in anymore. The blonde-haired man sits back down, smirking at Lisbon's blushing face, and she just wants to cry with joy. Across the table, they hold hands, awkwardly smiling at each other, savouring the only contact they can have without causing any more of a stir. Still holding hands, Lisbon lifts them off the table, and connects them with her fingers, pressing their palms together. She can't wipe the stupid grin off her face, and she's going to make Patrick pay later for that stupid smirk that he has on his. He raises an eyebrow at her, and for a moment, just a moment, she thinks that he's reading her mind. Then she realises that she's speaking out loud. When they heard that Abbott is on his way to break Jane out, the mentalist unjoins their hands, and sits back. They have to formulate a story. Of course, Jane is willing to take the blame, he'll happily tell Abbott what happened, but Lisbon is quick to jump in, saying that she doesn't want their business publicised… any more than it has been. She sees a slight falter in Jane's eyes, but he recovers and nods. She feels slightly guilty, but this is brand new. She wants to keep it between them for as long as possible. If she can, she will. She tells Jane the story they're going with, he chuckles but agrees to be the 'bad guy', if it means her conscience is clear. She sits back, putting on her 'angry Lisbon' face, just as Abbott arrives, spotting her and raising an eyebrow. She glares at Jane, who isn't looking at her. When the FBI director enters the room, he stands at the end of the table, arms crossed, looking put out and furious. He doesn't want to be here, they're supposed to be flying back to Austin in two days, but now he's considering "suspending" both Jane and Lisbon, so they can sort out their personal lives because come on… he knows what Jane did… he knows why Lisbon is really here… he knows their story is bogus… but he'll pretend. Until they're ready to come out and tell that they're together, he'll pretend.

'The TSA has agreed to let you go into FBI custody, with a warning, because you're not a terrorist threat, and you didn't plan to hurt anyone… the FBI has taken custody of you. But hear this… both of you… I am putting you both of two weeks paid suspension when we return to Austin. I don't want to have to deal with something like this again so Jane… don't be an idiot. I have booked us into a Hyatt hotel for the next two days, all your things have been brought over from the Bluebird, and I am arranging with the airport to have all of your things returned to the hotel as well Lisbon. I suggest you get on to the movers, and your landlord. I haven't filed your paperwork, so I won't worry about that now,' Abbott said, looking between the two of them.

'Thanks Abbott, for everything,' Jane said, standing up on his good foot, and hugging the man, who smiled and hugged him back.

'It's not a problem. No more problems Jane… understand?' he said, and the blonde man nodded, leaning his weight on Abbott, because Lisbon was still "mad" at him.

'I have booked you both rooms at the hotel. I suggest you get some sleep. We're leaving the day after tomorrow,' Abbott said as they left the TSA area, Jane limping along beside him, whilst Lisbon followed behind, a small smile on her face.

Jane's Room

11pm

Abbott helped Jane into his room at the Hyatt, handed him the room key, then bid both Lisbon and Jane a 'goodnight', before leaving to head to his own room. Jane made himself comfortable on the small couch in the room, whilst Lisbon awkwardly stood by the door. The silence between them now, was deafening, then they decided they were hungry, and fearing the 'FBI Policy of dating', Lisbon put in a call to Cho to get the guidelines emailed to her. She said to Jane that she was going to her room to get a couple of things, then she would be back, and they could order room service. He nodded, watching her as she left, the small smile on his face, gone the minute she left the room. He had been so sure that this was all going to work out, and yes, messing with airplanes in America is stupid, but he had to do it. It was his last chance, and if she had of left before he'd had that chance… he would have fallen apart. Of course, he's terrified… he's not denying that, and it won't be easy, they're going to have to adjust from their fourteen years of friendship to a relationship. They know each other so well, but have been distant for a while… not as close as they used to be, and that is partly Jane's fault, because once she met Marcus, and he saw how happy she was with him… he told himself that he would be alright with her seeing someone else… that he didn't deserve her… he knows of the things he has done to her… the pain he has put her through and they'll have to talk about all of that. But he realised something… and it took him a long time to realise it… he realised that he deserves love. He had to at least tell Lisbon how he really felt, then the ball was in her court… it was just lucky that she happens to feel the same way. Jane closed his eyes, just for a moment, and in that time, he saw Angela, telling him that he deserves to be happy, that she is proud of him and so is Charlotte. He must have slightly dozed off, because he's woken by a hand on his shoulder, and someone softly caressing his faced. When he opens his eyes, Lisbon is kneeling on the floor beside him, smiling. She kisses him once she is sure he's awake thinking hey I can just do this now… something she had wanted to be able to do, all those times he fell asleep on the couch at the CBI, she had wanted to kiss him awake. Now she can. They broke apart at the sound of grumbling stomachs, both chuckling. Lisbon had brought over a small overnight bag of her things and set her laptop up on the table. Jane ordered them some room service.

Somehow, Lisbon had convinced him that sitting together on the large bed in the room would be 'good for his ankle'. Jane was wary, of course he wants to have sex with Lisbon… don't get him wrong… but she still has things to do before they can take that step. She has to call Pike and tell him she's not moving to Washington DC, and they're not getting married. She has to re-organise her life, get her landlord not to give up her house, call off the movers, and re-adjust her life. Jane needs to get his ankle to heal up, and he wants to take her out on an official date before they do anything else. If he had it to do over again, their first kiss would not have been in the TSA holding room. For so long, she had been there, saving him, but he never let himself feel it. Too much had gone on in the past. There were so many moles within the CBI, that he was certain that Red John would have found out, if they had been together back then… stop, you need to call him McAllister… he thought to himself. He had long since decided to stop thinking about the past, but now that he has Lisbon, he can't help feeling guilty for all the time they wasted just being stupid. Sure, she could have protected herself, but what about the others? Grace? Wayne? Cho? McAllister had told him, blatantly in their final encounter, that he had only kept Lisbon alive because killing her would have 'been too easy'. He hasn't thought about that moment for a long while, in fact he tries to keep the Red John section of his memory palace locked with a deadbolt and padlocks. He tries not to think about it, remember it. Every now and then though, he does. He had forgotten how to be a normal human, so long hidden behind the walls he had built to protect himself and others. The one time he thought that he had lost Teresa to McAllister, he wanted to himself die. Then they found her, dazed but alive and he knew… he knew the only way to truly free himself… was to take Red John out, remove him so that he would never be able to hurt anyone again… because he would not have stayed in prison in California… he had too many corrupted friends. This train of thought was dangerous, so Jane locked it away again, and tried to focus on what was happening now… Lisbon was sitting beside him, almost curled into him, eating Chinese whilst they watched some silly show on the Comedy Channel. He doesn't know what made him say it, but it all just started falling out like word vomit.

'Teresa, I know we have a lot of things to discuss, and you still have a lot of things to do, but I just want you to know that… I do want you… all of you. I just… I want to do it the right way,' he said, and she looked up at him, blushing because him calling her 'Teresa' was just… she couldn't put her finger on why she loved it so much.

'Yes, we do have a lot to talk about, and I want all of you too Jane,' she replied, smiling then he kissed her.

'Good, I'm glad we're on the same page about something,' he replied, smirking.

'Yes… for once,' she said, and he poked her in the side, causing her to feign that she wasn't ticklish.

12:01am

Around midnight, Jane had fallen asleep wrapped around Lisbon. It was the first time in almost a year, that he'd had a good night sleep. He dreamt about his future with Lisbon in it, and what Angela and Charlotte would think of all of this… and he felt lighter for some reason. They had both agreed to wait until they got back to Austin to have their first 'official' date, and then go from there, but it was hard, because Lisbon just wanted to jump Jane right this second. She had waited fourteen years; she doesn't want to wait any longer. She remembered that Abbott had made a big deal about their "separate" rooms, and made a note to herself to wake up before Jane, so that she could go back and make sure that her room looked slept in. Cho had sent her a copy of the FBI guidelines, and it said that whilst fraternisation isn't against the rules, Agents are 'discouraged' from inter-office dating. However, the loophole didn't say anything about consultants. Jane technically isn't an agent. He's a consultant, so the agent/agent relationship doesn't count. There might be something else against that, but she couldn't find it anywhere in the guidebook, and her asking Cho about it, would certainly bring up questions she's not ready to answer. They had both agreed that because their relationship is still new, they want to keep it to themselves, just for now. She and Marcus…. Oh my god… Lisbon sat up quickly, almost as if she'd had a nightmare. Jane stirred but didn't wake. I have to call Marcus and break up with him… she said. Usually, this would make her feel anxious and dread would set in, but she had made peace with the fact that Marcus isn't her guy. She doesn't want to hurt him, which is what she is going to tell him when she calls him, but she can't begin a new relationship with Jane until she breaks off her other one. Her mentalist deserves her full attention, and Marcus deserves someone who will love him the way that Jane loves her, and the way that she loves him. She made a note to herself on her phone, to call him in the morning, and explain why she didn't show up at the airport, and why she won't be moving to DC. He had offered her a nice life, then Jane had shown up and given her what she had been wanting for years… himself. He had let down all of his walls, and barriers, and filled in the moat surrounding his heart with dirt, and crossed all of it, to tell her that he loves her… and the minute he did… she was his and he was hers.

7:30 am

What was telling about the first morning they woke up together, was that first, Jane was not beside her, but she realised why when he soon came back into the bedroom with a tray, and what Lisbon smelled was the most beautiful drink in the world: her precious coffee. She grinned and blushed as Jane placed the tray over her lap, it had her coffee and breakfast from their room service on it. She watched as he exited the room again, then looked back to this tray. So, this is Patrick Jane… the romantic… she thought to herself, wanting to see more. This was all for her now, and it would be forever if Jane has his way. She isn't planning to leave anytime soon, so she supposes they're both stuck with each other. When the Mentalist returned to the room, he had his own tray, carefully sitting back down on the bed, and bringing his food towards him. He turned to smile at Lisbon, who blushed but leaned in to kiss him, thanking him for the breakfast. She sipped her coffee, and moaned, causing Jane to look over at her, raising an eyebrow. She smirked at him, poking her tongue out, then grabbed her toast and bit into it. The little teasing moments, the subtle flirting, the way that their arms brushed together as they sat beside one another… touches that made everything inside her feel like it was on fire (in a good way), she would not be able to survive this until they get back to Texas. No way, she would absolutely lose herself and jump Jane before then if this wasn't fixed…. Jane, do something to make me mad at you… she thought, willing the man to be able to read her mind. Make me mad Jane… do it… she thought again, squinting her eyes at the tray as if to push the thought into the man's head beside her. If he noticed the stupid look on her face, he didn't say anything. That made her mad… hey it worked… she thought, smiling to herself… then realising that it was ridiculous, got mad again… irrationally, she put this anger onto Jane, but it helped her to calm her body down, so the next time their arms subtly touched, she was able to ignore the feelings and sarcastically make a comment that prevented them from sitting beside one another, much to the amusement of her new… boyfriend? She has to call Marcus. This is going to be an awkward conversation, both because she knows that Jane will let her, and because she doesn't like breaking up with people, regardless of if she has made peace with the idea.

'I have to call Marcus today… he deserves an explanation from me,' she said through the comfortable silence.

'I know. I know you do, and he does. I'm going to take a shower. You do what you need to do. If you need more time Lisbon, let me know,' he said, but was stopped from getting up by her hand on his face, she kissed him to let him know that she was still with him, and he smiled.

'Thank you, Patrick,' she whispered, and he blushed (although he would deny that later), because his name has never sounded so good.

'You're welcome… Teresa…' he replied, now it was her turn to blush.

It turned out that Marcus had been trying to call her all night. He had called her once, earlier this morning, but didn't leave a message. So, when she called him, he answered almost instantaneously. He was worried about her, because her plane had landed, but she hadn't gotten off at the airport. She asked if he had been waiting for her, and he said that he had been. She did feel guilty about that. She couldn't bring herself to say anything else, but the sound of the water turning on in the bathroom made her remember why she had to do this. Then she began envisioning all the dirty things that she and Jane could do in the shower, and it wasn't until Marcus shouted something that she was knocked back to reality. She told him that she hadn't gotten on the plane, that she was sorry, she didn't want to hurt him, but she couldn't marry him, or move to DC. There was silence on the other end of the line, then Pike asked her if this 'has anything to do with Jane?' she gaped into the empty room, but her silence must have been answer enough because the man sighed on the other end of the line, then sternly said: 'tell me the truth Teresa', and she didn't like the way her name sounded coming from him. She said that it was because of Jane. There were no details given by her, just that she had realised her feelings, and she at least needed to see where they would lead her. Marcus said some harsh things about Jane, but she could understand why. She hadn't really told him the best stories about the man, and she feels guilty for that. But she was mad, mad that her best-friend was continuing to lie to her, that he was hiding things from her, that he had forgotten how to 'be human'. He was stuck in the past. She had told Pike all those things, and she regrets that. So, she can understand why he's trying to poke at Jane's character, but all thoughts fell from her brain when Jane exited the bathroom, hair still damp, nothing but a towel around his waist. She was gaping again, but for a different reason, and she could tell that Jane was affected as well, because he looked like a deer in the headlights, quickly darting back into the bedroom and closing the door. Lisbon couldn't get the image out of her mind. Jane's (somehow) toned chest, slick with water from the shower, his damp curls making his hair look wild… imagine how it would look if I ran my fingers through it… she felt herself getting hot and needed to cool down. Marcus asked her if she was sure of this, and she said that she was. Their relationship ended amicably, and he hung up. She didn't feel guilty, which usually you would, instead she felt… lighter. Free almost. Like he was dragging her down, and part of Jane was right too. She is an independent woman. She got mad at Jane when he meddled with her life, but she had let Pike do the same thing, and was willing to follow him to DC.

Jane re-entered the living area of the room, now fully dressed. Lisbon was sitting on the sofa, just watching TV. He was wearing his normal suit pants, with an island shirt, that he had come to love so much, but didn't have his jacket on. He also had his sleeves rolled up. His hair was still damp, but the curls were beginning to form back into their regular shape. When Teresa looked over at her boyfriend, she couldn't help but picture him without his shirt, and the blush was automatic. Jane wasn't sure if he should sit down beside her, not wanting to pressure her into anything, and Lisbon caught onto this. She caught onto the fact that he was letting her lead this, and called him over, patting the spot beside her. A dangerous game… she said in her head, knowing that this could mean rushing into something they both agreed to wait for. But she didn't care. Jane sat down beside her, smiling, and pushing a strand of hair out of her face, behind her ear, softly caressing her cheek as he did so. Lisbon grabbed his hand with hers, linking their fingers, as they fell back onto the cushion between them. Knowing that she should go back to her room to shower, and get ready, Lisbon forced herself to stand, explaining what her plan was. Jane nodded, running a hand through his hair, not realising how extremely hot that was. Lisbon worried her bottom lip with her teeth, the room was just threatening to burst with sexual tension, she had to get out of there, or risk jumping Jane. Her hormones must have won out, because she went back over to the couch, and yanked Jane to his feet, kissing him, pressing all of herself against him. His hands went to her waist, hers around his neck, hands buried in his hair at the back of his neck, lightly pulling as they made out. When they broke apart, Lisbon pushed Jane so that he was sitting back on the sofa, then she straddled his waist, re-connecting their lips. Stop… you have to wait… Lisbon… you're rushing… she could hear the words in her head, but it was so good to finally be able to have Jane like this… that she couldn't let herself listen to those voices. The one that finally got through to her, was Jane's, alerting her to the fact that they're awfully close to crossing that boarder, one they haven't talked about, and that they agreed to wait for. He removed her from his lap, and stood up, moving to the other side of the room, both breathing heavily, trying to calm down.

'You should… go and shower….' Jane said through his breathing.

'Yes. Good idea. I'll ah… I'll come back shortly, and we can go for a walk or something,' Lisbon said, heading towards the door, Jane followed slowly.

'Sounds like a good plan Lisbon. I'll see you soon,' he said, as she opened the door.

'Yes, see you soon,' she whispered, kissing him once more before disappearing behind the door, letting it close before they both leaned against it on opposite sides, smiling.

Miami Central Street

Parade Walk

Miami, Florida

10:30 am

Lisbon and Jane met up with each other in the lobby, mostly because Abbott had texted them both, reminding them of the time of their flight tomorrow, and that he expects them to 'not get into any more trouble' whilst they're here. He also said that he has some business in Orlando, so he'll meet them back in Austin. Jane took this as an opportunity to spring Lisbon from her eternal fear that Abbott would catch them kissing, and so on the way down to the lobby, he had kissed her in the elevator, wrapping his arms around her waist, pressing her back against the wall. She had wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back as well. Now, they're walking down towards the Central Parade area, where all the shops and cafés are, deciding if they might have lunch, or go for a swim. Jane is wearing his typical suit pants, and island shirt, whilst Lisbon has put on one of the dresses that Jane brought for her when they were on their mission. It's black with cherries printed on it and has spaghetti straps. She paired that with black wedges, and a sun hat. When Jane had seen her wearing this, he had looked at her with so much adoration and love that she almost fell over from the weight of it. She had never been looked at like that before, and she can't say that she'll ever get sick of it. They were casually holding hands as they walked, Lisbon had her bag over her right shoulder, and both of them were wearing sunglasses. They didn't have to talk, just enjoying each other's company. Miami is gorgeous most year-round, but today especially. Or maybe it's just because they're still in the honeymoon faze of their relationship. Either way, Lisbon is seeing everything in a different light. Jane pulls her towards a shop, just off the boulevard. Inside, are a bunch of souvenirs. He decides to grab a few things for the team, whilst Lisbon browses around, wondering if maybe she should get something as well. Cho had always mentioned wanting to come to Florida, and he was put out when all went to hell, and he was made to fly back to Austin. His birthday is coming up, maybe they can get him a ticket to come to Florida for a couple of weeks or something? He does deserve a holiday. Jane finds her again, already holding a bag filled with things to take back to their colleagues. He hides the bag from Lisbon when she tries to peek inside, pulling her close and kissing her to distract her. It works, and they leave the shop to continue their walking. I want to get Patrick in clothes other than his suits… first I want to get him out of all of his clothes… Lisbon thought as they walked along. Then she saw a clothing shop, and yanked Jane inside. He chuckled.

Inside the shop, there were clothes that looked like they belonged on those ratty surfers with long hair, there were also some nicer ones. Jane looked put out a little, but he found a seat at the front of the shop, watching Lisbon at she moved around, looking at different things. She found a nice outfit that she could see Jane wearing and made him try it on. Of course, there was the debate about 'lethal force', and she promised that she wouldn't shoot him, but he didn't believe her. When he opened the curtain to show her what she had put together, Lisbon didn't have any words, instead, she pinned Jane back against the mirror in the small changing room and kissed him. Pulling away, she told him to get re-dressed, and when he was, and had handed the clothes back to her, she brought them, made him swear that he would wear them on their first date. Jane looked at her, with that stupid grin that she'll never admit that she loves, and kissed her, promising that he would. He took the bag from the checkout assistant and grabbed Lisbon's hand. They left the shop and continued their walk. So far, they've spent money on random things, when really, they should be spending it on super-duper things… like Jane would love to use his money to buy Lisbon a beautiful bracelet or necklace, but he also knows that she would probably prefer something less expensive, and more practical. Then again, she deserves to have at least one nice thing to wear on special occasions. They walked until they reached the end of the Parade, then Jane suggested stopping somewhere for lunch. Lisbon nodded, asking what he felt like to eat, only to be answered with a kiss by Jane, who softly caressed her cheek, almost in the same manner he had when he'd first kissed her. They finished their kiss, and then decided to head back towards the hotel, holding hands and softly chatting between themselves. By the time they got back to the hotel, it was just after midday, and Lisbon had decided that she didn't want to go for lunch outside the hotel, she wanted to have it brought to them by room service, and they could curl up and movies. Jane liked the idea, feeling less like heading back to Austin and more like staying here, in their little world that they have made for themselves. Even though he knows that can't happen forever.

'So, what movie do you want to watch?' Lisbon asked as they entered the lobby.

'I don't know. I haven't really seen many movies, you pick,' Jane replied, pressing the button on the elevator.

'Oh right, the carny boy. I forgot. Let me introduce you to a world of imagination then,' Lisbon said, smirking as the doors to the elevator opened and the walked inside.

'I'm looking forward to it,' Patrick replied in a whisper, kissing her once.
