The day had been long and tedious, Rev found themselves lost in thought as the clouds above them moved lazily in the sky, 'to be a cloud' they thought as more work got piled onto their desk. It seemed like the work was never ending, every time they finished one project another two project would pop up. And the only thing they wanted to do was spread their wings and fly and just feel the fresh breeze on face and stretch their wings a little break wouldn't hurt but the self-indulge would have to wait right now work.

Rev sighed they couldn't focus on the clouds anymore they need to focus on the work before them or they would find themselves drowning in more work and having even less time to breath even think. Grabbing the pencil, they began decoding the recent military fax they had just received.

It seemed like the military was planning something, but they had gotten smarter and were better at coding their messages to one another. Rev let out another deep sigh a little agitated with the work that was given to them. It seemed like they were given all the work, glancing around at the other people surrounding them it seemed like they were just as busy with work as well, so their anger was unwarranted, yet they were stewing in petty anger.

They had been hired by the revolutionary army to gather information and share their finding but the information they had gathered had been coded and would be considered useless if they didn't decode it quickly or they figured. They had no idea what to expect or what they were planning or the timeline. Someone must have leaked the information that they had been spied or they had gotten smarter, the latter seemed far less likely. Still Rev did pride themselves on a job well done and decided to help the revolutionary army with their work

Brushing their fingers through their platinum locks, their agitating getting noticeable to the man with a with a blue top hat. He frowned watching his crush, they were obviously stressed, the revolution hired Rev and their experiences on information gathering but their skills in decoding, but they weren't expecting the decoding to be such a hassle. But then again neither did Sabo. The whole situation was more complex than any of them expected it was keeping them all on their toes but rumors of a change was coming only had everyone on edge.

The world was going to change, and they were on edge. He couldn't much for Rev at the moment as he was also busy with work but he would have to talk them later maybe offer them a cup of coffee to help keep them motivated. He walked off to do his own work and gather information.

The day had dragged on and Sabo barely found time to break from work or meetings to check on Rev. He had tried multiple times through out the day to check on them even trying to use the excuse the reason for seeing them would be to bring them snacks or even a cup of tea but every time he got close to approaching them he got swapped with work or got dragged away somewhere else, even missing Rev by a minute as they had to be somewhere else to be. Rev had been tired

He sighed in defeat glancing out the window they had been staring out, the night sky. It had gotten late, with everything going on they no time. He sighed himself feeling a bit tired and leaning on their chair his head spinning with all the work he had. He was on a different mission then Rev and mixed in with training to prepare him for the new battle. He would have to leave the island again in two days. And preparing for that was taking a lot of time.

He wanted to spend his remaining time with them least some time with before he would have to depart but trying to find where they had gotten too.

Standing up he would check their room first; it was one used for guest. He was sure they were reading a book or drawing something. He knew they were stressed and just would love alone time as soon as work was done. Standing up he headed towards their room.

They weren't in the room but the faint smell of herbs, they had been there not too long ago, a cup of tea was left on their desk half finished. It was warm. He frowned walking to the open window as a slight breeze chilled the room a bit, glancing out he jumped out went looking for them.

They couldn't have gone far, he wasn't sure what was wrong with him but he had a desperation to see Rev. They were his rock in the time of stress their salvation when they needed a clear head, he thought of their relaxed smile and share a few private jokes with them. His heart fluttered at the thought of them, he wanted to hear their voice and just be alone with them for some time.

The cool night air felt refreshing after being stuck inside a building all day surrounded by paperwork and Sabo could understand why Rev had taken a walk outside. He let out a breath and walked the long path towards the flower field figuring Rev was probably there the long silent walk clearing his head a bit. Reaching the flower field. He glanced around looking for any sign of life in the empty field of flowers he was sure Rev was here.

Walking slowly, he took in the scent sweet scent of flowers that filled his nose before stopping, the beautiful person he had been searching for was laying in field of flowers surrounded by forget-me-not-flowers. He smiled crouching down he smiled down.

Hazel colored eyes stared back at him, "You found me," Rev chuckled reaching with their hands and playing with Sabo's golden curles, "I was wondering when you would come," It was like they knew he would be searching for him, they were mysterious and memorizing like the dragon fly. Always moving quickly never staying in one spot and being difficult to catch as elusive as they were Sabo still found himself wanting to catch them.

"I guess I had a feeling you wanted to talk," he said as glanced up at the night sky they had been staring at it. It was a sight, he could see all the constellation. He laid down next them facing the stars his fingers inches from theirs the temptation to intertwine with theirs. He held off his temptation and continued staring the silence around them comforting.

"You know my brothers and I used to make up stories about the constellation," Sabo spoke, "after a long day of training he would make up silly stories to keep us entertained," Rev titled their head to stare at him curious about what kind of stories and wanting to hear about his past that he often spoke so lovely about, "Ace often would talk about great pirates that became strong and achieved their dreams, the stories were so quick and they would often be fighting sea monsters or other great pirates," he laughed at memory it was painful to think about Ace still. He felt Rev's pinky stroke his own and they smiled gently at him wanting him to continue.

He smiled and let out a deep sigh clearing his mind so he could continue the memory it was a memory he long had forgotten but how often did he have a chance to lay in a field of flowers and remember his childhood and star at the stars.

"Luffy was about great meals and finding the largest meet," he bragged about Luffy whenever he got a chance seeing his brother again alive and well and, on his way, to achieving all three of their dreams and would help his brother achieve their dream.

"And what kind of stories did you talk about?" Rev questioned, their hazel eyes showing curiosity on to what kind of stories Sabo shared.

Sabo chuckled at memory, "My stories were a little more elaborate," he admitted. He would have his hero fight sea monster, take down the navy, and win the prize but he would add a few difficulties along the way like having his money stolen or dealing with two dolts of brother who didn't understand his role as captain.

Rev listened to his story with a curious ear, "Your character never found love?" they questioned, "all good stories have a good romance," they joked.

Sabo shook his head, "I was a kid then romance was gross," his blue eyes making contact with their's "but if I told the story today it would have romance,"

This took Rev back their original intention was to tease him a little, but he instead caught them off guard. Their cheeks red they glanced at the beautiful blue and black sky littered with stars. They cleared their throat a bit but the little comment was making their heart flutter still, would he make a story having his hero falling in love with someone like them.

Sabo chuckled loving the pink on their cheek, it brought out their freckles even more. "do you want to start making up constellation,"

"And ruin the memory you share with your brothers?" Rev questioned sharing something so private and cute they worried a bit that the dynamic a bit.

"I think you would help me relive it," he whispered wrapping his fingers with theirs. Their hand was small delicate compared to his. Intertwining their fingers together.

Laying together in the fresh field of flowers, Rev and Sabo began making up stories of the different constellation, some if were silly, some if it were tragedies but a lot of them were about a great hero traveling his lover and sharing the reward. They spent the night laughing and making up weird sea monsters they had to fight and taking down the corrupt monsters attached innocent people. And saving the people they loved. It ended with the hero ending with his partner retiring on the island surrounded by flowers and them watching the stars.

Rev yawned their eyes feeling heavy, the workday catching up with them. Sabo himself watched as Rev he struggling to keep their eyes open before they fell asleep. He watched as they closed their eyes and fell asleep and joined after them not wanting to ruin this romantic moment, their fingers intertwined together as they slept.
