My Grandfather and Dad used to tell me stories about King Arthur and Camelot all the time. They even told me stories about the legend of the sword Excalibur. I wonder about the sword sometimes.

I asked, 'If the sword is a legend, how come I can't see that sword?" Dad looked at me and said, "Now just because you have heard stories about the sword doesn't mean there is more to the sword than it meets the eye."

I took his word for it. Then Father handed me something that was once his, a sword and Grandfather handed me something that was once his, a bow that has the symbol of three rings.

Grandfather said, "This sword was once your father's when he was your age and this bow was once mine when I was a bit older than you Bella, but now we want you to have them.

I looked at the sword and bow in awe. I didn't know what to say. Grandfather then said, "You know, exploring the backyard with your dog would help you understand."

I sighed and said, "Sure Grandfather, I'll give it a go." I got my black terrier who is a male named Soldier and went outside. He's only eight weeks old, my dog. It was nice of my father and grandfather to give me their things.

Then I began to notice my father's sword and grandfather's bow starting to glow. What's happening? Before I had time to find out what it is, a light green light surrounded me and my dog.

Then it spun us around! Oh man, it's like a wild ride to me. Then we landed with a thud. I groaned and got my eyes wide. I looked around and there I found that everything looks different.

I then said, "Soldier, I have a feeling that is strong that we're not at home anymore." We must be in land that is by the sea.
