Story 1: Old Dreams

February 26th, 1982, Sweden. A man walks into a room before sitting down in a chair. The room was similar to a living room, it looked nice in there. There was a table with chairs, and a lamp as well. On one side of the room was a One-Way Mirror. "Hello Stefan, my name is Detective Smith, I'll be interviewing you today." Detective Smith said. Stefan didn't say anything and just stared at the detective. "Huh. Silent talker huh? Alright, that's fine by me. We're going to be asking you a few questions and you're going to be answering them. Is that clear?" Detective Smith asked. Stefan still didn't respond. "Look, the more you're corporate, the faster we can get you out of here. Remember, you aren't in any sort of trouble, ok? We just need some help on this case." Detective Smith said. Finally, Stefan spoke. "Alright, I understand. I already spoke to one of your officers about it. Karin, I think. I just don't understand why you need to hear it again from me." Stefan said. "It's nothing personal, honest, we don't think you're lying or anything, it's just important that we get different perspectives on the matter, you know?" Detective Smith asked. Stefan nodded. "I understand," Stefan said. "Good. Let's begin. You are aware of the Bath House massacre that took place in December 1981, right? Around 2 months ago, maybe 3." Detective Smith asked. "Yes, I am aware of that," Stefan said. "Apparently, a maniac dressed up as a vampire and killed 3 children and…" Detective Smith finished. "Kidnapped Oskar Eriksson, Correct. Now, when you were the last person reported to see him, can you tell us about that encounter?" Detective Smith asked. Stefan sighed. "I guess? If I recall, it was around a day after the bathhouse massacre. He had a huge trunk with him, but I don't know what he was doing with it, and it wasn't my place to ask either. I don't know maybe clothes, or belongings or something? But, after I punched his ticket, I asked him where his parents were and he told me not to worry about it, and that he had a plan. And that…he'll find some help. I simply assumed he was going to a relative or something, it wasn't that far away, only in Stockholm." Stefan said. Detective Smith nodded. "I understand, I understand, do you remember anything else?" Detective Smith asked. Stefan pondered about it for a little bit. "Yeah, I was on that train as well, and I kept an eye on him since he had no parent or guardian with him, and he kept knocking and scratching on that trunk of his. Maybe Morse code? Sounds like a bit of a stretch." Stefan said. "No, No, you could be onto something. It might be Morse code, but I'm unsure why he'd be doing it on a trunk unless something was in it, or someone was in it. You mentioned a bit after the train stopped, you saw him again, this time with a girl. Is that right?" Detective Smith asked. "Yes, that's correct, I saw him with a girl, maybe 12, or 13? I'm not quite sure, she had black hair too. They were sitting on the trunk that Oskar had. I don't know where she came from, maybe she was meeting Oskar? Not sure. And she was very underdressed! Oskar was wearing a jacket but she was just wearing a normal shirt. But, she had a knife. She cut open her palm before giving it to Oskar. He did the same on his own. Then they placed their hands together, like blood brothers, you know, like how we did with our best friends when we were young. Except, they were mixing their blood. Then the girl looked at me. She looked, upset…or puzzled? I'm not sure, her face seemed like it was just changing a lot. She jumped off the trunk and stared at me, holding that huge knife. That's when I realized, she wanted to kill me. She intended to kill me. For interrupting. She looked like she was gonna lunge at me, that was until my stationmaster called out that my train was coming in. I backed away as she just stood there with the knife." Stefan said. Detective Smith began to write this down on a notepad. "Alright, that's interesting. Recently we have gotten reports of people seeing Oskar Eriksson around Stockholm, however, most who attempted to follow him either lost him in a crowd of people or were never seen again, going missing." Detective Smith inquired. "Oh. That's a shame." Stefan said, looking down. "Yes, it is. Mr. Steve Davis, Mrs. Kathrine Walker, and most recently, Mr Malcom Aurther, who was found dead recently. What seems to be most common with these bodies is the way they all died, the neck destroyed…literally, it's a mess, and the head is twisted, as if the neck was snapped." Detective Smith said. "Detective no offense, but, why are you telling me all of this?" Stefan asked. "You're one of the few people that seen him and after talking to my supervisors, it was agreed to at least tell you about these occurrences. One more thing before we let you go, Stefan, has Oskar Eriksson talked to you at all, tell you anything important, anything?" Detective Smith asked. Stefan looked down for a bit, staying silent. "Stefan? Are you still with us?" Detective Smith asked. "Yeah, he said one thing to me one evening. He took the subway like everyone else, but one evening he came up to me in particular and asked me to follow him. So I did, I should have realized something was off, but I didn't. But then I saw the girl. She was just standing there in the dark. Then I realized what was going on. I was near the office so I quickly ran in when she lunged at me, closing the door behind me. I forgot to lock it. I looked under the desk and grabbed the shotgun from underneath it and aimed it at the door. I didn't know what I was going to do with it. I wasn't gonna shoot him, or..was I? I don't know the moment was scary. But then I noticed something. Despite me not locking the door, Oskar didn't come in, neither did the girl. It's like they couldn't come in. After a while, they disappeared, as if they were never there in the first place." Stefan said. Detective Smith nodded, intrigued by the story. "Thank you, Stefan, that will be all for now." Detective Smith said. Stefan nodded and got up, the door opening for him from another officer outside.

10:24 PM, later that evening. An Officer was walking through the woods with a Camcorder and a Pistol. "Alright, are you sure this was the last place the kid was seen?" The officer asked through the walkie. "Yeah, that was the last place he was seen, there should be a house somewhere nearby, there are multiple, I guess that the kid is being kept in one of them, just go around and see if you can find him." The other officer replied. "Alright. Let's see what I can find. God, it's cold out here." The Officer remarked. He walked for a bit before he heard a twig break. He spun around only to just see a fox run off. "Oh, it was just a fox." The officer said. But then he heard laughing. "Hello? This is the police! Come out with your hands up!" The Officer said. Then, the officer heard Groaning. He turned around, only to see nothing. He turned back around, only for something to rush at him from the side, knocking him down. The Camcorder took one photo before it fell on the ground. Gunshots were heard but they seemed to miss the target. The Officer screamed as the ripping of flesh was heard along with a necksnap. The Camcorder was picked up, before being thrown against a tree, breaking it.

"Officer George was found dead in the woods early that morning by a couple taking a stroll through the woods. His neck was completely ripped apart, with his neck snapped. The Camcorder was found, however, it was broken, against a tree, and only a bit of footage was recovered, along with one photo of someone attacking him from the side. The photo is far too blurry to make out but it wasn't a bear or an animal, someone human, or inhuman attacked the officer. Remember, do not go out alone during the night, and be careful, and stay far away from this man."
