Hi! This is my first fanfic on , so I'm excited to see what everyone thinks! Constructive criticism/tips/suggestions is welcome!

Anyway, this takes place before Child's Play, sooo... you'll see. :) Enjoy!

"Don't give me that look," Kai warned.

The ten-year-old in front of him glared, the red eyes blazing with indignant anger, sticking out his tongue. Kai kept the ruby gaze, standing his ground. The little monster might get away with everything with the others, but not him. He refused to give the kid the satisfaction of a ninja well played. That was not the way Kai rolled, and it would never be. Huffing, the kid broke the glare down, turning away.

"It's not my fault your high score is so easy to beat," Lloyd retorted.

"No, it isn't, but you using Cole's account is! He thinks he's beating me. It's driving me crazy!"

"Is that what you've been fuming about?" Nya asked, looking up from her computer screen. An amused smile spread across her face as she (very visibly, he might add) tried to stifle giggles. "Some video game? How do you even know Lloyd's the one who did it? Maybe Cole really did beat you."

"He did not!" Lloyd and Kai shouted.

"It was me! Not Cole, he sucks at Fist to Face 2," Lloyd added, turning to face them.

"See?" Kai said, pointing at the defiant rebel. Lloyd frowned, folding his arms. "At least we agree on something. Now all you have to do is play on Zane's account!"

The Nindroid couldn't care less if he had "beaten" Kai's high score. He just wanted to play. Cole, however, was relentless in wiping the "victory" in Kai's face.

"I guess I could…," Lloyd said, tapping his chin and looking thoughtfully at the wall behind Kai.

"That's all you have to do," Kai sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. He imagined wiping the smile off Cole's smug face as he saw both Kai and Zane beat his high score. Definitely worth the kid beating his high score just to cause problems. "Just a simple change. That's all."

"For a price. I'll play Zane's account, for a price," Lloyd concluded, smirking, "It's no fun if I'm the only one frustrating you."

"Why you little…–" Kai started.

"Can you just hear him out?" Nya cut in, slamming the computer closed and storming out of the room.

"Fine, what's the 'price'?" Kai asked, rolling his eyes.

"You buy the next issue of Starfarer for me."

"That's… actually not that bad," Kai said, "Fine, deal. Shake on it."

Kai held out his hand, eyebrow raised, daring Lloyd to call the deal off. The kid knew that would mean war, and Kai always doubled the kid's high score. Lloyd hesitated, biting his bottom lip.

"And a soda? Not those disgusting lemon-lime or fruit punch ones?"

"Fine! But no more!"

"Deal!"

They shook and walked away, Lloyd satisfied with his cheap demands, and Kai satisfied because of the cheap demands. Although, he thought to himself, he'd have to read that comic to see why the kid was so obsessed with it and why he would give up annoying Kai for it. Maybe Lloyd really did think he was playing Kai, just like he did with the others.

Again, this is my first story on here, but I hope you enjoyed! Have a nice day! :)
