A/N: This story was written for Mistletoe Mischief hosted by Draco's Den Fanfiction on Facebook. This collection is to spread the cheer of our favorite Slytherin characters!
My pairing was set to be Theodore Nott and Thea Queen and my word was Electric Razor. The overall theme of the event this year was Mistletoe Mischief, so mistletoe is involved. All of these make an appearance in this story in some way.
I hope you enjoy this story as well as the rest of the stories in the collection. I know that many of these authors have worked very hard on all of their collection pieces for this group as well as a few other holiday-themed events going on this time of year.
If you enjoyed my story and would like to check out some of my other works, feel free to search up starrnobella on most social media and you will be able to find a way to contact me outside of FFN.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Love always,

"I think the Grinch has the right idea," Thea said, shaking her head as she reached for another piece of tape. "No presents, no people, only socializing when you have to. It's sounding more and more appealing by the moment."
"You can't be serious," Theo replied, his voice coming from the opposite side of their apartment. He was fighting with a piece of ribbon in an attempt to create the perfect bow. "He was miserable and alone. No one even wanted to talk about him. That just sounds miserable."
Thea laughed, shoving the present she had finished wrapping underneath the tree. She pushed herself up from the floor and made her way down the hall to the room Theo was holed up in, wrapping the last of their Christmas presents. Arriving at the door, she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned up against the doorframe. "But at least he didn't have to pick out presents for people who already have everything they could ever dream of and the means to buy more whenever they want," Thea said, rolling her eyes.
"You would be lost without Oliver," Theo said, glancing back at her over his shoulder.
"I know," Thea answered, shrugging her shoulders. "It would just be easier if we didn't have to exchange gifts with him because he's got more money than he knows what to do with."
"Which is why we got him something that he can't buy," Theo reassured her, pushing himself up from the floor picking up the gift he just finished with, and making his way over to the door. He stopped just in front of her and leaned over to press a kiss to her forehead. "He's going to love it."
"I still think we should have gotten him the electric razor," she huffed, rolling her eyes. "Then you could have enchanted it."
"To do what?" Theo asked, quirking his brow at her.
"I don't know," Thea shrugged, pushing away from the door and making her way back into the living room. She plopped down on the couch and tucked her feet beneath herself and pulled a pillow into her lap. Thea studied the presents under the tree and shook her head. "We spent too much money."
Theo tossed his head back with a laugh as he placed the last present under the tree. "We did," he mused, taking a step back and looking at the tree before him, "but it just means that we have a lot of people that we love and want to spoil with presents."
"I guess you're right," Thea said, patting the space beside her on the couch. She smiled as he moved to join her. A sigh escaped her lips as he draped an arm around her shoulders. Thea leaned over and rested her head against his shoulder.
Theo leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "Are you still in the mood to be a Grinch or would you like one of your Christmas presents early?"
Thea's head popped up and she turned to look at him with a large smile on her face. "Early," she chirped, "always choose the early Christmas present."
Theo laughed and pushed himself up from the couch, turning to offer her a hand. "In that case, we need to go grab our coats and a pair of shoes."
"An adventure, yay!" Thea squeaked, taking the hand offered to her and getting up off the couch. She kicked the pillow that fell off her lap to the side and took off down the hall to their bedroom. She was making a mental list of the things that she needed to go on an adventure with him.
Theo shook his head and followed her down the hall, slipping into the laundry room for a moment to grab the box he had hidden away. Thankfully, he was the one who did most of their laundry and Thea refused to step foot in this room unless she absolutely had to. Wrapping his hand around the ring box, Theo let out a sigh of relief. Tonight was the night. All he wanted for Christmas was for Thea to say yes.
A whoosh of wind brushed past him as he tucked the box into his pocket. "What are you doing?" Thea asked, stopping in her tracks in front of the laundry room door. "That's not where your shoes are."
"I needed a pair of socks," Theo lied, grabbing a pair of mismatched socks off the top of the dryer and holding them up to her.
"They don't match," Thea replied, the confusion becoming more apparent in her voice. She rested her hands on her hips and cocked her head to the side. "You're hiding something."
Theo shook his head. "No, I'm not. I promise I was just grabbing a pair of socks. I know we aren't going to be gone long, and we aren't seeing anyone else so the mismatched socks won't bother me."
"Okay," Thea conceded, furrowing her brow as she turned on her heel. "Let's get this show on the road!"
Theo watched as Thea took off down the hall and grabbed her coat off the rack with a large smile on her face. She had no idea what she was so excited about, but it was one of the things Theo loved the most about her. Her love of Christmas - even if her favorite character of all time was the Grinch and she had threatened to buy him an electric razor on several occasions when he happened to let his beard grow out.
With one last pat on his pocket, Theo reached for the light in the laundry room to shut it out and turned on his heels making his way back into the living room. He slipped on his boots and grabbed a coat and a hat before reaching for the front door. "Ready to go?" he asked, offering a smile as he saw a sparkle in Thea's eyes shimmer brightly.
"Absolutely," she cheered, grabbing Theo's hand and pulling him through the door. She stopped just on the other side as she realized that she had no idea where she was going. "Lead the way."
"We're going up to the roof," Theo said, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Maxima snowflake."
A fit of giggles escaped Thea's lips as she realized what he had just done and made a dash for the stairs that led to the roof. She loved the smell of snow, but living in Star City, it wasn't something she got to smell often. One of the best things about dating a wizard was that he could make her anything she wanted.
As she reached the top of the stairs, she waited at the door for Theo to join her. Theo wrapped an arm around her waist and pushed the door open with his other hand, revealing a snow-covered Mount Krumpet wonderland before them. There were red and green lights lining the way to a beautifully decorated arch with white roses. Standing along the runway of lights were Oliver, Felicity, John, and Sara. Each of them was holding a white rose in their hands.
Thea could feel the tears welling up in the corners of her eyes as she turned to glance at Theo, who was watching her intently with a smile on his face. Thea accepted the rose from each of them as she walked past, stopping in front of Oliver. "He asked for your permission, right?"
Oliver nodded his head and offered a smile. "Congratulations, Thea. He's a good man."
"I know," she whispered, reaching up to wipe the stray tears that had started to fall away from her face. Oliver pointed to a spot just up ahead and Thea moved to stand there. The tears were freely falling as she watched Theo get down on one knee.
"When I first met you," Theo began, "I was a lot like the Grinch. I didn't like people. I didn't like Christmas, I was much happier being alone, but then you came along."
He paused, reaching into his pocket to pull out the ring box. He opened it slowly, revealing a beautiful sparkling diamond with emeralds on either side of the main stone.
"Being with you has made my heart grow more than just three sizes, Thea," Theo said, extending the ring to her. "Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
"Yes," Thea said, her voice cracking as she placed her hands on Theo's cheeks, leaning to down to kiss him. "The answer is always yes."
Theo laughed, pushing himself up from the ground slipping the ring out of the box and putting it on her finger. Once the ring was secured, he wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up, spinning her around once. He set her down and felt a shiver run down his spine. He glanced up and noticed something hanging above their heads.
With an awkward chuckle, Theo pointed to the mistletoe hanging above their heads. Thea's eyes followed his finger and laughed when she saw what he was pointing to.
"If I have to," she laughed, shrugging her shoulders as she leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his lips.
