Well…i expected the worst…and we found it. The first room in the castle and it's a slaughter. Many of the guards i knew are now dead. Lying in a massive pool of blood. With weapons sticking out of their dead bodies. And there was already a genma to greet us. One of those heavy samurais. In it's left hand was the head of another guard. This sight pissed me off. Cause i knew that guard. He would talk about his beautiful wife and his daughter. And how was afraid of dying and leaving his family alone…and now that fear has come to pass thanks to these damn monsters! My body fueled by rage. I jumped up and summoned ensenpu.

"Fry you bastards!" i yelled as i brought my axe down. Causing a fiery explosion turning to the samurai and the grunt by his side into ash. "Let's go!" i yelled at samanosuke. I was ready to begin the slaughter. But after entering the next room. We found yumemaru being restrained by some midget samurai.

"Let me go!" yumemaru yelled.

"Quiet!" the midget yelled.

"Yumemaru!" i yelled. Getting both their attention. Yumemaru bit the midget. And ran behind me. As the midget tried to grab him. I grabbed him by the throat and threw him at the door which is blocked by another of these jelly producing jewels. "Keep your hands off of him. Or i'll snap your neck."

"Accursed grim reaper…why must you try and defy the natural order of things?" the midget said as he got up. Took a bit considering the world of pain he is in right now.

"Who are you? And what do you want with yumemaru?" samanouske asked.

"I should ask you the name thing. You are not working for saito clan, are you? Wait! Can you be samanosuke akechi?...yes you are! I cannot believe you are here of all places! I am a servant of the oda clan. My name is tokichiro kenoshita." tokichiro said. Folding his arms trying to look confident. Only for one of his eyes to close to try to hide the pain.

"A servant of the oda clan…as in nobunaga oda?" i asked. I then summoned raichoken and pointed it at him. "A warlord's servant is not welcome here! Get out before i cut your head off!" i yelled.

"I'm not talking to you. You filthy rebel!...so tell me samanosuke. Are you interested in serving our clan? My lord nobunaga would welcome a great samurai like yourself." tokichiro said. I readied myself to kill them both depending on what samanosuke said next.

"I serve no one! My life is mine and mine alone to command." samanosuke said with pride.

"I see…however. I will not give up yet…we shall meet again." tokichiro said leaving while laughing. His laughing intercepted by groans of pain.

"Samanosuke…you chose the right words…if you side with the oda clan. I will kill you." i said.

"Pharos…you seem to have a great hatred for warlords…why is that?" samanosuke asked. I sighed.

"Ask princess yuki or ajisai. I told them my story…and remembering it is painful for me." i said.

"My sister…is she?" yumemaru asked.

"She's fine." i said with a nod. "She's in the safehouse in the forest. I'll take you there." i said. I turned to samanosuke. "Can you explore on your own?" i asked.

"Yes…you take him to princess yuki. Be safe pharos." samanosuke said. I nodded and took yumemaru to the safe house. As we walked through the forest. I felt like we were being watched. I reached the safehouse and knocked on the door.

"What's the password?" ajisai asked.

"The reaper's blade brings justice to warlords." i replied and the door unlocked and opened. Princess yuki was more than happy to see yumemaru. I was about to leave until a woman wearing a kimono came in. we didn't close the door.

"That samurai…samanosuke is in trouble. He was surrounded by monsters…you must…help." the woman said. I wasn't buying this for a second. I sense the same foul light from her like i did that giant bastard.

"Your lying…you can't fool me…genma." i said. I summoned my reaper's revolver and shot her three times.

"Pharos! What are you doing!?" kaede yelled.

"Look. notice anything weird about her blood?" i asked. Kaede looked and saw that her blood wasn't red…it was clear like the blood of an insect. To make my point even more clear. Her arms twisted around as her legs pulled her up. She scurries out of the room like a spider would.

"How did you know?" kaede asked.

"No idea…i just sensed it…like a light that hides some mismash of gore teeth and eyes. The power that samanosuke's gauntlet has a different feel. Like being held by a kind woman in the dark…a comforting darkness." i said. I left the safehouse and closed the door. As i made my way through the forest that same feeling came back. And before i could react i got grabbed by some giant bug genma and it drags me off to god knows where…

Samanosuke pov.

I found some strange device. I then heard a familiar if not irritating voice.

"We meet again samanosuke!" tokichiro said as he came from behind the machine. "Still not interested in coming to serve the oda clan?" tokichiro asked…this was starting to get old.

"For the last time, no!" i yelled. Making my stance crystal clear. Tokichiro sighed in frustration.

"I tried my best to help you. You just don't understand the true power of the genma. But alas just like that foolish reaper. You insist on challenging the natural orders of things. Farmers obey samurai! And humans obey genma.." tokichiro said as he turn towards the machine. "The time has come genma! Prepare the dark ceremony!" tokichiro yelled as the machine charged up and it hit me with lightning forcing me to my knees. "Now you must suffer the consequences of your actions….just like that foolish reaper is. As he becomes bug food!" tokichiro laughed as the a portal open below my feet and sucked me down to god knows where.

Pharos pov.

I was dragged to the boathouse far away from the castle i was thrown through a wooden window breaking it and landing on a wet green mat.

"Yeah…that hurt." i said as i rubbed the back of my head. I heard buzzing and looked up to see what it was that grabbed me and dragged me here. Some unholy fusion of a woman. A grasshopper. And a queen bee. I stood up.

"You have interfered in our plans for too long armageddon knight!" the bug woman yelled…she can talk. So she's one of those genma in the hierarchy. I summoned my scythe.

"What the hell do you things want with princess yuki and yumemaru anyway!?" i yelled.

"The dark ceremony requires the blood and skull of a beautiful maiden. And when lord nobunaga drinks it. He will be granted in exchange for his servitude as for yumemaru. Princess yuki cherishes him. If he is sacrificed in front of her. Her sorrow will peak. Making her blood it's most delicious and strongest granting nobunaga more power when he drinks it." the bug lady explained. Anger and hatred filled every fiber of my being. Hearing this disgusting plan. I always despised warlords. And nobunaga is defiantly the lowest of the low…willing to be the slave of these horrid monsters just to continue his vile conquest. I summoned my scythe and readied myself for battle.

"That's not gonna happen you disgusting bug! It's time for some pest control!" i bug woman laughed as giant ant genma jump from the water.

"Now my dear babys…consume that wretched armageddon knight at once!" the bug lady commanded. I barbequed her babies with ensenpu. After they've been dealt with. I summoned shippyari and sent some tornadoes the bug womans way. The force knocked her to my level. I summoned my scythe and stabbed her in the top of her disgusting queen bee sack. And brought it down. Opening it wide. Clear blood and maggots came flooding out of the wound. She attempted to ram me. But she ran into a wall instead. Must have lost a bit of vision from blood loss. She tried to slash me with her grasshopper arm. But i cut it off and then stabbed through her disgusting bug eyes. She screams in pain. I put an an end to her suffering by pulling my scythe with the blade in her it out. I swing my scythe to get it off.

"Pharos tachinowarui…kills bugs dead." i said with a grin. And noticed a bow on a pedestal. "...if anything is on pedestal it's got to be important." i said. I grabbed the bow and put on my back. And exited the building "now how do i get back to the castle?" i asked as i noticed i was pretty far out on the water. I looked over the edge and saw a boat floating there…"huh…convenient." i said. I hopped on. Untied the rope holding the boat. And began to row.

Samanosuke pov.

I woke up to water dripping on my face. I got up and found myself in a cave. As i made my way through the cave. I came face to face with a doppelganger of myself. It didn't have any of the magic weapons i gained. But it had my skills with a sword. Including a dark fire blast similar to enryuu. But despite that. I have proven that the original is better than some genma copy. As it fell to the ground dead. Quickly decaying as if it's age rapidly increased after death. I moved foward. And using a wooden ladder i found in one of those puzzle boxes. I went up it and found myself in the room with the puzzle box that contained the bow.

Ajisai pov.

I saw pharos get grabbed by that thing. I followed after it. And found myself at the beach…must have taken to the boat house…how am i going to follow.

"Row row row your boat gently down the stream. Merely merely merely life is but a dream." i heard someone singing. I looked to see that pharos was okay and rowing a boat back to the shore. He saw me and parked the boat.

"Are you okay pharos?" i asked.

"Yeah…and that bug is squashed by the way." pharos said with a smile. I hugged him.

"I'm glad your okay." i said…was i…falling in love with him?...i felt him hug me back.

"I'm not leaving you…i promise." pharos said…yeah. I'm falling for him…our hug was interrupted by the ground shaking. I saw wood come flying and an ominous green light glowing from inabayama castle.

"What was that!?" i asked.

"Nothing good…that's for sure." pharos said with a serious look.

3rd person pov.

Behind a sealed door…a gate to the underworld has appeared. And opened. A genma with a humanoid frame. With two tentacles acting as hair. Wielding a flaming kukri stepped out of the gate. He had look of annoyance on his face.

"Tch…so both osric and hecuba have failed…how hard is it to get a weak human girl!?...then again. None of us expected that the shi clan would come back…" i said. He then grinned. "I never got a chance to face an armageddon knight…this will be entertaining." he said with a sinister laugh…be began his hunt…the oni traitor genma…gargant.
