One week later, Carlisle pov

"Okay now that we are all here I just want to address a few things before we get to the main topic of discussion..."

"Bella you are doing wonderfully here and I am so proud of they way you have opened up."

I look over at her and she is giving me a shy smile.

So here it goes. Telling her that we are vampires without her freaking out.

"So Bella, there is something you should know. A family secret..."

"We are vampires"

Her face was almost unfazed when I said then. She didn't look like she thought we were joking but looked unsurprised as well.

"I know" she said in a quiet whisper

Bella pov

I knew from the moment I saw his amber eyes. Yes there was a slight chance he was one of the five percent of human who naturally have that color eye but all five of them, yet not being related. Pretty unlikely. Then there is the coldness, Alice has slipped up with the speed a few times.

"You know?" Carlisle asked almost confused

" Yes"

"How"

"About you, the eyes are a give away. About vampires that is a long story"

"It's okay I am not mad, just didn't expect that you already knew"

"I was on the streets by myself for a while. About two years ago I was walking down the alley and there was this girl who wasn't really a girl. She had frizzy red hair and red eyes. The went after me. Then this blond hair girl with gold eyes pushed her off of me and she ran away. She answered my confusions before she left. I never saw her again"

"Oh I'm so sorry Bella"

"it's fine it's not your fault"

The next day, Bella's pov

I love this new family. Alice has become my best friend. Carlisle and Esme has become the parents I always wanted but never have had. Jasper and Rosalie have been very welcoming as well. I still not sure what to think of living in a family of vampires. If they have other intentions for me or not. I never been loved a day of my life until a week ago.

Do they feel the same? They have said so but why would them being who knows how old want to waste their time with me, a fragile human with a time limit.

A look up as Carlisle walked in.

"Are you alright" he asked

"I'm just thinking"

"What about"

"If you guys actually love me or want me. If you do why. I am just a human with an expiration date. Why would you even waste your time with me"

"Bella, look at me. You are not a waste of time. I don't wish this curse on anyone. I really don't believe in turning people that could survive without it but for you I would make an exception. If you want it this year or in twenty. I knew how special you were when I first saw you. I wouldn't of brought in any homeless teenagers off the streets. I love you as much as the other three. Don't think just because you are human you are unwanted okay?"

I started to cry when he said that. He came over and held me.
