After hearing who all would be participating in the tournament, everyone went to their designated room to prepare their decks as well as to go over the rules.
"How is the new deck coming along, Yuya?" asked Gon, who was sharing the room with Yuya.
"I just finished," said Yuya with a smile. He was sitting at a desk where a holographic computer monitor sat with a list of cards on it that he was able to make real by tapping them. A knock then came from their door.
"Come in," said Yuya while turning the computer off. Yuzu then walked into the room.
"Are you ready for the duels to start?" asked Yuzu with a smile.
"Of course I'm ready, I'm going to put a smile on everyone's face today with my best performance ever," said Yuya with a confident grin. Meanwhile, in Yugi and Grandpa's room.
"These new Duel Disks are pretty cool," said Yugi as he looked at a Pendulum Dimension Duel Disk resting on his left arm.
"So are the Duel Runners and cards, are you sure you can learn all of this by tomorrow morning?" asked Grandpa as he looked at the cards on the computer and a set of rules that were given.
"I think I can," said Yugi.
"I just wish the Pharaoh was here to see this, he would have loved all of this and really would be looking forward to the tournament as well," said Yugi with a sad expression as he sat down on one of the beds.
"I'm sure he will be watching from wherever his soul is resting," said Grandpa while sitting down next to his grandson and placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks grandpa," said Yugi.
