Yazmina wandered aimlessly through the jungle for what remained of the night, searching for a place to stay. All the while, she continued to encounter more of the strange creatures that roam the island. At first it was the giant ones with long necks and the three horns. But gradually she had encountered large creatures with plate over it's back and spiked tails. Two legged one with long necks and large spiky turtles with large club tails.
These things were so strange. But at the same time, so familiar to her.
Early that morning, Yazmina was trudging through the lush jungle foliage. Brushing aside some of the leaves and palms, she found a cave not too far from the crash site.
"That seems like a good place to stay." She said.
Yazmina emerged from the jungle and walked into the cave to see what lies Inside. Inside was a small area like an animal den. She glanced around the den, placing her hands over her hips.
"Might need a little work, but I think I can make it work." Yazmina said.
"Maybe I could use some of those leaves outside to make a bed."
Yazmina raised her glance, thinking back to the crash site of the plane. Glancing back at the mouth of the cave, she wondered if there would be anything worth salvaging.
"That's right, I saw some things back at the crash site." she said to herself.
"Maybe there some food or something she could use."
Yamzina turned and ran out of the cave as she made her way into the jungle.
Yazmina peered up into the crash site from behind the cover of the foliage. Having to returned to the crash site to salvage anything useful. Luckily, the fires had extinguished. Just as she had hoped, there were many things from the Plane she would be able to use for her cave. She slowly emerged from the foliage, Yazmina slowly approached the crash site.
She came up to one of the seats which had been torn from the plane, which laid in pieces over the ground. The cushions of which looked torn and burned from the crash. She then shook her head.
"Now way I'm sleeping on this." she thought to herself.
"Might need to find something else."
She then glanced up to the rest of the things, seeming to have survived the crash. She then saw another seat, which lied in two.
Yazmina came up to the seat, where she narrowed down as she pressed her hands against the cushion.
"This will make for something to sleep on." She said.
Yamzina continued to salvage all she could from the wreckage. Even coming across a map from within the plane. Packing up all she had salvaged, she then made her way back to the cave.
Yazmina had finished making her bed from leaves and cushions from the plane seats. She then stepped back, seeing the work she had accomplished.
"Okay, now to figure food supply. I can't keep going to that area." Yazmina said.
"Maybe there's something on the map I found."
She walked over to the map, which she had laid out over the floor of the cave. She examined the contents of the map, which seemed to only show were more of those dinosaurs are and that strange place from yesterday. None of which appeared to be anyplace where she would be able to find food. She then shook her head, groaning.
"Nothing," she thought to herself.
"Maybe I'll find something out in the jungle."
Yazmina stood up and made her way out of the cave.
Yazmina forages the jungle for the longest time for any good, when she comes across some berries. She came up to the bushes, where she then takes the time to examine them.
"These look good." She said
Yazmina then proceeds to pick the berries. Unaware that something was watching her from the foliage behind her. As Yazmina continued to pick the berries, she the heard the bushes behind her start rustling. She glanced back and saw something moving through the leaves and palms. Yazmina slowly stood up.
"Hello, is somebody there?" Yazmina asked.
Yazmina turned to face the rustling bushes. She then narrowed herself down, ready to face whatever it was that was there. But upon emerging from the cover of the foliage, walked out a baby Ankylosaurs. Yazmina glanced up in awe, slowly standing back up. The Baby Ankylosaur then scurried up to her.
Yazmina narrowed down to the Ankylosaur.
"Hello there, little fella." Yamzina said.
The Ankylosaurs glanced up at Yazmina, groaning to her
"What's a little dinosaur like you doing all by yourself?" She asked, curiously.
The Ankylosaurs just groaned at her again.
"Wish there was a label on the map to tell me what exactly you are." Yazmina said.
"All I can say is that your a dinosaur."
The Ankylosaur then scurried passed her as it came up to the berries she had picked. It then proceeded to eat them. Yazmina glanced back at the little ankylosaur.
"Hey, those are mine!"' She said.
The ankylosaur glanced up to her, groaning. Only to then turned back and continue to eat the berry's. Yazmina came to the Ankylosaur and was just about to intervene. Only for it to glance up at her, groaning. Yazmina then paused, taken by how cute it was. She then shook her head.
"Go ahead. At least now I know they're not poisonous." She said.
Yazmina started picking berries again once she knew her company was full. She filled up the small sack she had found from the crash site before turning and making her way back into the jungle. The little Ankylosaur groans as it proceeds to follow after her. Yazmina turns back to the little Ankylosaur.
"Go on now. Go back to your family." She said
The Ankylosaurs just ran up to her, continuing to groan. Yazmmina then turned and narrowed down to it.
"What, you wanna come with?" Yazmina asked.
The little Ankylosaur grunted, as if it was saying yes.
"Well, until the plush wolf I found in the wreckage starts talking, looks like you and me are going to be keeping each other company." She said.
The Ankylosaur groaned up at Yazmina, as if happy that they were staying together.
"Now, what to call you?" Yazmina said as she though for a moment.
"Yazmina then noticed that the horns on its head were much smaller than the other.
"Huh, you have such little bumps on your head." She pointed out.
The Ankylosaurs just groaned. Yazmina then smiled.
"Bumpy it is." She said, smiling.
Suddenly, Yazmina heard a voice in the distance.
"Are you sure the specimen ran this way?"
Yazmina peered up from the foliage. She then stood up as she and Bumpy ran back to the nearby foliage. The two then hid within the foliage, where they peered into the clearing and saw several people wearing white lab coats.
"I'm certain it was here, Dr." The scientist proclaimed
"Then keep searching, I need that specimen alive." Dr. Wu insisted.
Yazmina watched as they walked off further into the jungle. Once they were gone, she then breathed a sigh of relief. She then glanced down at bumpy, who crawled up to her.
"Come on, lets get out of here." she said before taking Bumpy back to her cave.
