Days passed since Yazmina found Bumpy and the two came to live together in the cave. Yaz had started to fix up her cave to make it feel more like home. Yazmina gave a sigh of relief, laying back over a bed of leaves and the cushions she had taken from the crash site. Bumpy trotted up to her, where she curled up next to her. Yazmina glanced down at the small Ankylosaur, who groaned as it snuggled into the leaves.
"You said it bumpy." she said.
Yazmina then felt her stomach grumbling. She leaned up, placing her hand over her stomach.
"Man, am I hungry." Yazmina said.
While Yazmina was often upset by gaps in her memory, she didn't deny the peace was relaxing. While shelter and water were never a problem, her diet was often an issue. Berries were great and sufficed her hunger, but sometimes she would have to steal from the Main Park at night for a heavier meal.
Bumpy looks up at her, groaning. Yazmina looks down at her, smiling.
"Yeah, I know that it's no problem for you. But I can't live on just berries." Yazmina said.
"I need something a little meatier."
Yazmina then stood up as she walked over to the entrance of the cave. She paused for a moment, gazing out in the direction of the Main Park. She then turned back to Bumpy, who trotted up to her.
"No Bumpy, stay here." Yazmina said.
"I'll be right back."
Bumpy understood and went back into the cave. Yazmina then turned and headed off into the jungle.
Yazmina walked through the empty streets of the main park, while avoiding the security cameras and guards. Yazmina came up to one of the restaurants where she usually would get her meals. She peered in through the window, only to see that there were more people inside then there were last time.
Quickly, she narrowed down.
"Now what do I do?" Yazmina asked herself.
Knowing she couldn't just stay there forever, Yaz quickly made her way back to the jungle.
Yazmina trudged through the jungle for a time before stumbling upon a huge enclosure she hasn't seen before. She hid behind the cover of the foliage, peering into the clearing.
"What is this?" Yazmina asked herself.
"Maybe it's somewhere where there's food?
Glancing around the clearing, she slowly emerged from the foliage as she rushed over to the structure. She went in, not noticing the warning sign.
Dropping down into the pen below, Yazmina glanced around in a narrow crouch. Slowly she stood up as she continued to scan around the phatic. It was then she spotted a large chunk of meat laying over the ground.
"That looks like something." Yazmina said.
Yazmina goes over to the chuck of meat, unaware she was being watched from the foliage. Picking it up off the ground, she was about to eat it, when she heard a screeching sound. She then paused, glancing around the pen.
"Hello, is someone there?" She asked.
There was a sudden rustling within the nearby foliage. Yazmina stood up as she turned to face the foliage, when she then heard a strange growling sound. And then from out of the bushes, emerged a dinosaur of which she had not encountered before. This one walked on two legs, had sharp claws and teeth and had blue and green scaly skin.
Yazmina could tell this one wasn't friendly because of it's fangs and claws. She slowly backed away.
"Easy now. I don't want any trouble." Yazmina said, fearfully.
The Raptor growled at her, bearing it's teeth at her. Yazmina dropped the chunk of meat as she slowly backed away. She sifted her eye around, looking for a way to escape. Only to be snapped to attention by the Raptor hissing.
"Huh?" Yazmina said.
The raptor was munching on the meat until it stopped and pushed it to Yazmina. Yazmina glanced up at the Raptor, who uttered a hiss to her. As if it was trying to encourage her. Yazmina narrowed down and took a chunk of the meat. She once more glanced at the Raptor, who continued to stare at her, bobbing it's head. Yazmina glanced down and took a bit of the meat.
Yazmina started eating it, regardless of the Raptor watching her. She then nodded her head at the raptor.
"Thank you." Yazmina said.
The Raptor brushed her head to Yazmina's hand, like it wanted to be petted. Yazmina placed her hand over the muzzle of the Raptor, who gave a small crackling sound. Yazmina felt herself tense up, feeling the scaly skin over the palms of her hand.
"Oh my..." Yazmina gasped.
The Raptor was completely calm towards Yazmina.
"Blue, where are you?"
Yazmina panicked and looked for a place to hide. The Raptor turned, gazing up at the walkway above. Yazmina turned back to the foliage behind her. She then turned and quickly hid within the foliage. The Raptor turned back to her. Only to then hear the voice again."
"Blue?!"
Yazmina saw a man direct Blue to him.
"Everything okay, girl?"
The raptor growled up at him, bobbing his head up at him. Yamzina continued to gaze from the cover of the foliage, hoping that the raptor wouldn't give her way..
"Come Girl, time for some drills."
The Raptor growled as he followed after him. Yazmina ran for the door and didn't stop till she was back at the cave entrance. She then paused, glancing back in the direction she came.
"At least I know not all the meat eaters are my enemies." She said before walking into the cave.
