The trek through the jungle was quiet for the most part. At least on the part of Yazmina, who trudged through the foliage as she lead the way to the main square. As Yazmina lead the way through the foliage of the jungle, Darius and Kenji got to talking.
"So you won the Jurassic World video game and got a trip here?!" Kenji asked, brushing aside the leaves and palms.
"I heard that game is unwinnable. How did you figure it out?"
"Yeah, I mean, it took a few tries but I managed to distract the t-Rex with the raptors." Darius insisted to him.
"What how?" Kenji asked, curiously.
As she brushed aside the leaves and palms, Yazmina heard a sudden sound. She then paused, glanced back as she shush them. Kenji and Darius both paused.
"What is it, Yaz?" Kenji asked, curiously.
Yaz said nothing, scanning the nearby foliage. She squinted her eyes. They then heard it again. Yazmina gasped, recognizing what it was. She then glanced back at Darius and Kenji.
"White Jaw!" Yaz exclaimed.
Yazmina quickly turned and pushed the two out of the way into the nearby foliage. As the Indominus came storming out of the jungle. Only it didn't stop as it kept running. The three glanced to the Hybrid, curiously.
"Where's it going?" Kenji asked, curiously.
As if if in reply, the three then heard the sound of a helicopter's propellers from overhead. The three glanced up saw the helicopter chasing after the Indominus. The Indominus Rex continued to plow through the jungle as those in the helicopter fired at it.
"Hey, that's Marani!" Kenji exclaimed.
"They're shootings at the indominus!" Darius asked, curiously.
The three then chased after the indominus.
"Kill it, Masarani!" Kenji cheered.
"Wing Teeths!" Yazmina said.
The three came to a stop as they gazed toward the helicopter flying over the aviary.
"Yeah come on, Masarani, you got 'em now!" Kenji continued to cheer.
"Uh, Kenji." Darius said, pointing overhead.
The trio watched as the Pteranodons emerged from the trees below and attacked the helicopter. Kenji then paused, widened his eyes in shock and awe. Seeing Masarani's chopper crash through the Aviary, which gave way to more Pteranodons.
"Uh, guys, I we need to go... now!" Darius insisted.
"Where exactly?" Kenji asked curiously.
Yazmina glanced back to the jungle behind them. Peering through the foliage, she noticed there was a cave overhead.
"There, Cave!" Yazmina proclaimed, pointing off into the foliage.
The two glanced back to where Yazmina was pointing and saw the entrance to the kayaking.
"Come on!" Darius proclaimed as he ran ahead.
The four rushed over to the cave as the Pteranodons flew overhead, toward them. Just as one flew down at them, the four had reached the cave and disappeared inside in the nick of time.
Kenji reached down to the radio over his belt. He then pressed the side button.
"Dad, we're going underground. Expect us to go dark." He said into the radio
Only for the radio to crackle with static.
"Dad, you there?" Kenji said again
The radio only crackled again with the sound of static.
"Nothing!" Kenji said, turning to them
"We're probably too far underground." Darius said.
Kenji sighed, dropping her arms to his side.
"So now what? There's no going back there." Kenji asked, gesturing to the closed door behind him.
Yazmina walked forward toward what looked to be yellow Kayaks.
"Yellow floats!" she said, pointing over at the Kayaks.
Kenji nodded his head in agreement.
"She might be onto something. This river leads to the main park!" Kenji insisted to them.
"But it's two person per Kayak and there's three of us."
They the heard the sound of the Pteranodons from outside. Causing them to glance back to the doorway.
"I don't think there's much of an option here." Darius said.
The trio and Bumpy climbed aboard one and started off. Yazmina stood crouched at the center of the kayak with Bumpy, who was groaning
"I think we're safe now. We're too deep underground for them to follow." Darius said.
Bumpy groans as she moved around in Yaz's embrace.
"We safe?" Yazmina asked.
Kenji glanced back down through the cave.
"For now. We should probably keep our eyes open. Just in case." Kenji insisted.
"Uh, guys, Look!" Darius asked, pointing ahead.
Kenji and Yaz gazed down the tunnel, where they saw glowing Parasaurolophus grazing along the side of the ravine.
"Uh, what's with the..." Kenji said.
"Dr. Wu must implanted them with glow fish genes." Darius asked.
"Make dino's glow?" Yazmina asked.
"Yaz, be careful." Kenji warned, putting her hand in front of her.
Bumpy continued to groan, catching the attention of the Parasaurolophus, who turned to them. Yazmina tried to quiet her down.
"Bumpy, calm down!" She said to her.
Darius glanced back at Kenji.
"Hey Kenji, what is exactly her problem?" He asked, curiously.
"I don't mean to sound insulting, but Yaz acts a little like an animal."
Kenji rubbed the back of his head, glancing to the side.
"Yeah, I don't know for sure, but from the looks of things I think she's spent a little too much time in the jungle." He explained.
Yazmina looked around like a child.
"I promised her I look after her." Kenji said.
Darius shook his head, trying to make sense of what he was saying.
"Wait, your saying she pent time in the Jungle?" He asked, curiously.
"As in the same one that is crawling with dinosaurs?"
Bumpy continued to groan as the Parasaurolophus began to gathered around them. Yazmina started shooing them away, making sort of growling noises. The Parasaurolophus each uttered a groan back to the wild girl. Beginning to bump up against the Kayak.
"Hey, watch it!" Kenji said, pressing back with his paddle.
"Wow, Uh, Yaz, I don't think that's helping."
Yazmina looked at the water and noticed the current getting stronger. She then glanced back at Kenji and Darius.)
"Current stronger!" Yazmina pointing ahead.
Kenji and Darius glanced up, where they saw they were moving to an open fence. Try as they could, the current ended up dumping them out somewhere else.
Yazmina, Kenji and Darius glanced around, curiously.
"Uh, guys, where are we?" Darius asked, curiously.
"Yazmina not know this place." Yazmina said, glancing back at them.
Kenji got a good look. He then gasped, panickily.
"Kenji, what's wrong?' Darrius asked.
"Guys... We're in the Jurassic World lagoon." He said.
