The next morning, after stopping at Yaz's cave for the night, the three friends were heading to Kenji's penthouse. Trekking through the jungle foliage, the three had noticed the island was much quieter then usual. While there were the still the sounds of Dinosaurs, it was the park that had gone silent.
"Feels pretty quiet being here after everything that happened." Darius said.
Kenji nodded his head in agreement. The Island was certainly much quieter then before. It could only mean that the entire island had been evacuated after the Indominus attacked. Which could only mean that that they must be the only ones left on the island.
"Yeah, I hope dads okay." Kenjis said, glancing to the side.
Yaz listen to her friends talking, sounding as though they were concerned about being left on the island. But decided to keep quiet.
Emerging from the foliage, the tree found themselves faced with a tall skyscraper-like building. Darius gazed up in awe.
"That's your dad's penhouse?" Darius asked, curiously.
Kenji nodded his head.
"If you think that's awesome, you should see the inside." Kenji insisted to him.
Kenji unlocked the gate to the penthouse. He sighed in relief.
"Good thing I got a B- in algebra." He said.
Yaz clung her wolf plushie in her arms.
"Us be okay?" She asked, curiously.
Kenji nodded his head to her.
"Yeah, Yaz. We're gonna be alright." He said.
Kenji opened the door to his father's penthouse.
"The penthouses has more then enough rooms for us." Kenji insisted to them.
Yazmina glanced around the hallway in suspision. Bumpy walked up behind her, groaning.
"It's okay, Bumpy. Safe now." She insisted to the little ankylosaur.
"Kenji, I know your dad said he'd send a rescue. But we should probably figure out a way to signal for help." Darius insisted to him.
"I know, but I think we should first get comfortable. Yaz, come with me and we'll set up a room for you and Bumpy." Kenji said.
Yaz got up to her feet, but the long time walking on her hands and feet made her legs unable to support herself. As she stood up, she wobbled before almost falling over. Only to then caught by Kenji, who rushed up to her.
"I got ya." Kenji said.
Yazmina smiled as Kenji helped her along through the hall.
Kenji opened the door to one of the Penthouses rooms as he helped Yazmina inside. The Cave Girl glanced around the inside of her room, curiously.
"This will be your room, Yaz." Kenji insisted to them.
"Yazmina's room?" Yaz asked, curiously.
"Yeah. My room's next door. If you need anything, let me know." Kenji said.
Yaz came up and crawled onto her new bed.
"Weird and soft." Yaz said.
Bumpy trotted into the room as she came up to the bed. She glanced up Yazmina, groaning. As if asking for Yaz to bring her up on the bed with her.
"Okay Bumpy, Yaz help." Yaz said.
Yazmina pulls Bumpy up on the bed with her. Bumpy groans before falling over onto the soft bed.
"I'm going to check on Darius. Try and get situated." Kenji said.
Yaz nodded as Kenji left.
Walking out into the hallway, Kenji noticed the door was open.
"Hello?! Anyone there?" He asked, curiously.
No one replied. Kenji walks over to the door. He then peers outside, only to see that there was nothing there. He then shrugged, closing the door. He then turned back only to suddenly pause in awe.
"Kenji, I found something useful in the Jurassic World guide!"
Darius came out into the hallway, where he found Kenji was not there.
"Kenji?" He asked.
Darius then cocked his head to his right and saw Kenji staring at a Velociraptor.
"Don't... Move."
Yaz came out of her room and saw what was going on. She then gasped.
"Blue friend?" She said
Kenji glanced back to Yazmina, shuddering. The Cave Girl sauntered passed the two as she came up to the raptor.
"Yaz, what are you doing?" Kenji asked.
Yazmina came between her friends and Blue, who shifted her glance to her. She then vocalize at Blue, communicating with her. Blue chirped back at her. She then came up and started nuzzling her friend.
"Blue friend. Yaz, okay." Yaz insisted to her.
Kenji and Darius paused.
"That thing... is your friend?" Kenji asked, pointing at the raptor.
Darius shook his head in disbelief.
"No way." he said.
"Blue gave Yaz meat. Blue, they friends. No eat, okay?" Yazmina said to her.
Blue vocalize, saying she understood.
"Yaz, she can't stay here. No offense, but I can't trust she won't eat us." Kenji insisted to her.
"Yaz understand." Yaz proclaimed.
Blue vocalize to Yasmina. Yaz turned to her.
"Blue making sure Yaz okay. She has home." Yaz insisted to her.
Yasmina walked passed her, openings the door Blue hac come in through. The Blue gave one last vocal before running out the door. Both Kenji and Darius sighed in relief.
"Glad one predator probably won't eat us. You were saying Darius." Kenji said, glancing to her.
"Oh yeah, I found something in the Jurassic world guide that could help us." Darius insisted to him.
"Really, what?" Kenji asked, curiously.
"Come on, I'll show you." Darius said, before turning and making his way back to his room.
Darius showed his friends a section labeled EDB.
"It's a Emergency Distress Beacon. Masrani had it built in case of emergencies." Darius insisted to him.
"It's battery powered and it can send a message for over 150 miles."
"Does it say where it is?" Kenji asked, curiously.
Darius pointed over the page in the guide.
"It saids that the EDB is located somewhere in Main street." Darius insisted to him.
"Then that's where we need to look. If we can get that EDP, we'll be able to call for help." Kenji said.
Mr. Kon was sitting at his desk on the phone.
"I understand the situation but I need a rescue party!" Mr. Kon proclaimed.
"I'm sorry, sir. But we can't organize one at this moment." The Employee said over the phone.
"No, you don't understand. My son and whatever friends he's with are there." Mr. Kon said.
"I'll pay any price, just please send a rescue party!"
"Sir, the island is under U.N quarantine. Violating it without authorization would result in imprisonment." The employee said over the phone.
Mr. Kon pinched his forehead in frustration.
"I'm sorry, sir. Please, have a pleasant..."
Mr. Kon suddenly threw his phone across the room. He then stood up from his desk as he turned to face the window. All the while, he wondered what he was going to do. With the Island now under UN quarantine, there was no way he would be getting near it.
"Kenji..." he said.
