In Main Street, a lone girl name Brooklyn was lying, unconscious over the floor in one of the restaurants. A soft moan escaped her lips as her eyes slowly opened her eyes. She then leaned off the floor, placing her hand atop her head, groaning.
"My head... what happened?" she said, shaking her head.
"That's a rough night sleep."
Brooklynn glances around to find the restaurant was completely deserted. Many of the tables and chairs were laying over the floor as well. Looking as if they place had been broken into and raided the place.
"Where is everybody?" Brooklynn asked.
Standing up from the floor, Brooklynn walks out of the restaurant. Only to find Main Street was also deserted as well.
Yaz was swinging through the trees on vines as she made her way into Main Street. Kenji and Darius were following from below.
"She's spirited." Kenji said.
"Yeah." Darius said, nodding his head in agreement.
"That's probably because her mind became so young."
"Yaz, be careful! And stay far away from the lagoon!" Kenji called to her.
Yazmina lets go of the vine, landing in a small bush of foliage below. Causing Kenji to gasp, worryingly. Causing him to rush over to see if she was okay. Only for the Cave Girl to crawl out of the brush. Much to his relief as he uttered a sigh, whipping the sweat from his forehead.
"She's gonna be the death of me." Kenji insisted to him.
Yaz peered from the cover of the foliage at the deserted street of the formal resort. Slowly she crept out of the cover of the bushes, before then proceeding to sneak towards Main Street.
"No one here." Yazmina said, glancing back at her.
Darius came up as he inspected the damage of some of the structures.
"Looks like there was a fight. By the looks of thing, the T-rex and... something bigger." Darius insisted to them.
"The Indominus. And seven guess on where it is now." Kenji said, pointing to the broken lagoon railing.
Darius and Yasmina came up over the edge, peering down into the lagoon. Only to then gasp and lung back at the remains of the indominus. Yazmina shivered in fear as she crawled next to a tree.
"We'll, at least we don't have to worry about it anymore." Darius said.
"Yeah well, I don't think I want to take any chances. We should start looking for the EDB." Kenji insisted to them.
Brooklyn saw the trio but decided to stay low and watch what they do.
Kenji turned back to Yaz, who was sniffing.
"I think we should try and stay together till we have way to stay in touch." Kenji said.
"There's bound to be something in the gift shop. We should check there." Darius proclaimed.
Kenji turned to Yazmina.
"Come on, Yaz." He said.
Yasmina raced after her friends.
Darius was digging through Lost and Found for anything they could use.
"I'm finding a lot of sunglasses, but nothing like a radio." He insisted to him.
Yaz came up with a First Aid kit in her mouth. She then dropped it in
"Useful, but not what we're looking for." Darius insisted to her
Kenji rummaged through some of the shops shelves. It was then he came across a few Dino radios.
"Hey, how about these?" Kenji said, turning back to Darius and Yaz.
Darius nodded his head.
"Those should work." He said.
"Yaz, hold onto that First Aid Kit all the same." Kenji said.
"The EDB has to be somewhere. Kenji, take Yasmina and look around." Kenji said.
"I'll do the same."
Yaz sniffed the air. She then paused.
"Strange smell." The Cave girl insisted to them.
"What's wrong, Yaz?" Kenji asked, curiously
"Yaz smell something." Yaz insisted to them.
Kenji and Darius glanced to each other, curiously. Yaz raced towards the scent, only to nearly get hit by a board but ducked just in time.
"Huh?" Brooklyn insisted to them.
Yaz pounced onto to her attempted assailant. Brooklynn glanced up in awe at the girl pinning her to the ground. Yazmina hissed at the assailant. It was then that Darius and Kenji came running.
"Yaz, stop!" Kenji said to her.
Yaz crawled off Brooklyn. Kenji came up and helped her up.
"Sorry about that. She's a little... Defensive." Kenji insisted to her.
"No, my fault. I thought she was a dinosaur." Brooklyn said, covering her cut on her head.
"Don't worry. Yaz is not dangerous." Kenji insisted to her.
The two glanced back at Yazmina, who continued to stare wearingly at the girl.
"At least, I don't think." Darius insisted to her.
"That's nasty cut. Let's get that fixed up." Kenji said.
"Thanks, I've been looking for a First Aid kit." Brooklynn insisted to them.
"Yaz?"
Yaz turned and scurried back into the gift shop. She came back a moment later with the Medic Kit in her mouth.
"Thanks, Yaz." Kenji said, taking the Kit from her.
Kenji opened kit.
"You got a name or do we call you Pinky?" Kenji asked, earning a scowl from Brooklynn.
"I'm Brooklynn. You know, from Broolynn unboxes the world?" Brooklynn asked.
Kenji and Darius glanced to each other in bewilderment. Neither of them having the slightest idea what that meant.
"Um... ok." Kenji said, rubbing the back of his head.
"Anyway, I heard the alarm and the Pteradons flying towards. I got separated from my dad and shoved into a store." Brooklyn said, as Kenji treated her cut.
"When I came to, everyone was gone."
Kenji finished applying medicine and bandages to her cut.
"Well, we got unlucky and chased by the Indominus Rex all over the park." Kenji said.
"I'm Kenji, he's Darius, and she's Yasmina."
"We have a plan to call for help. We need to find the Emergency Distress Beacon." Darius insisted to her.
"Emergency Distress Beacon?" Brooklynn asked, curiously.
Kenji nodded his head.
"Yeah, we think it might be somewhere here in Main Street." Kenji insisted to her
"Well, everything on Main Street is suppose to look natural." Brooklynn insisted to them.
Yasmina tapped on a tree and it made an echoing sound.
"Case in point." she said.
Darius narrowed his head, thinking about what Brooklynn said.
"Maybe... the Beacon must be blending in as well." Darius insisted to them.
"Then we better get searching." Kenji said.
Everyone started scrambling around and checking everything until they heard thunder-like footsteps. Yaz climbed up to a store and saw the T-Rex coming their way.
"Red Jaw! Red Jaw!" Yazmina insisted to them.
Kenji: "Everybody hide!"
Kenji and Brooklynn quickly hid behind some tables that had fallen over. While Darius hid behind a nearby pillar. Yaz ducked down over the roof of the store. just as the T-rex emerged from overhead. As the T-Rex stomped by, the tree it dragged opened and Yaz saw the beacon. Everyone waited till it was gone. Yaz struggled to say what she saw.
"Thingie. Thingie!" Yaz said.
Kenji turned to her, curiously.
"What is it,Yaz?" Kenji asked.
Yazmina pointed to where the T-Rex had dragged away the tree.
"I think she's saying she knows where the Beacon is." Darius insisted to her.
Yasmina nodded and she lead her friends to the T-Rex paddock. They spotted the beacon in what looked like a nest.
"Thingie!" Yazmina said.
"Darius, is this normal T-Rex behavior?" Kenji asked.
Darius gasped with anticipation.
"No way. T-Rex's are said to have made nests like these, but never when the park was open. This is great!" Darius exclaimed, excitedly.
Brooklynn glanced to him, raising an eyebrow to him.
"Did you forget it has the beacon?!" Brooklynn pointed out.
Yasmina left and went to the spot where she hid her spear. It was mainly used to help her move around the Park at night, she never used it outside of a tool.
"Let's wait till it's dark and we can sneak in." Kenji asked, cuiously.
Before anyone could say anything else, everyone heard the sound of banging metal and the T-Rex moved to investigate. Kenji realized what was causing the banging)
"Activate the beacon and hurry!" Kenji asked, curiously.
Kenji raced after to where Yaz was.
Yasmina was banging her spear on a fake tree till she heard the T-Rex coming. The T-Rex emerged from the entrance of the tunnel. She then scanned the square, where she saw Yazmina banging her spear on the tree. The t-rex had spotted her, she quickly turned with her spear in hand
"Yasmina not scared. Yasmina protects friends." The wild Girl proclaimed.
The T-Rex stared at Yasmina then roared. Yazmina roars back at the T-Rex, who charges her. Over the roof, Kenji gasps at the sight.
"Yaz!" Kenji exclaimed.
Yaz skidded between the T-Rex feet causing her to crash into a building and raced back to the others. It didn't take long for Kenji to catch up to her.
"Yaz, that was very dangerous! That was..." Kenji said in a scolding tone.
Kenji stopped when he saw Yasmina looking like she was about to cry. Kenji sighed.
"Yaz, I'm sorry. You just had me worried, okay?" Kenji asked.
Yazmina nodded her head to Kenji.
"Yazmina sorry." she said.
Kenji nodded, smiling.
"It's alright." He reassured her.
Darius and Brooklyn ran up to her.
"The beacon is activated!" Darius insisted to her.
"Let's get back to the penthouse. You wanna come, Brooklyn?" Kenji asked.
Yasmina pulled on her new friend's arm like a child. Kenji turns to Yazmina
"What is it, Yaz?" Kenji asked, curiously
"You want me to come?" Brooklyn asked, Kneeling.
Yasmina whimpered like she was apologizing.
"It's okay." Brooklynn insisted.
As the kids left, they didn't know that the Beacon message was received by someone. Meanwhile, a boat was docked at the eastern side of the island with unfriendly company.
