In the streets of Paris...

Jirou watched from behind her friends, feeling a bit alone. Ladybug and Cat Noir announced to everyone that Midoriya's quirk was the key to getting them back home. She knew this would come up eventually, but she didn't think it would happen today. Midoriya had just lost his Miraculous, and all they can think about was sending them home.

She could see the look on Midoriya's face, and he was still hurt by the fact that it was gone. This wasn't just a Miraculous, it was also a quirk. Something that was a part of each and every one of them. Including Jirou.

She twirled her earphone jack rather gently and really felt like saying something to them, especially Cat Noir. But then she noticed the way he was looking at Ladybug. Something about the way his green eyes shined when he looked at her made her feel a little uneasy. It made her stomach feel all weird inside. All she could do was watch him stand next to her.

They looked like a couple more than just teammates.

Jirou took a step back, causing Ashido to notice her.

"Kyouka?" Ashido asked as she stepped up to support her.

Before she could however, Jirou ran off, confusing everyone around her. Cat Noir noticed her run down the street, and so did Ladybug. She gave him the go ahead to check on his girlfriend. He headed in the same direction as her. Soon Ladybug and EraserHead were heading down as well with their teammates and students.

Jirou kept running away from the Eiffel Tower and ended up spotting Andre's ice cream stand in the distance. She stopped in her tracks and watched Andre hand out ice cream to a couple.

They looked madly in love with each other.

They looked at the ice cream cone with so much romance behind it that Jirou felt like she really missed out with Adrien.

She felt something dripping down her face and reached up to feel tears. Jirou had never felt this way about anyone before. An image of Kaminari back home came up in her head, and she felt her knees begin to buckle.

She started running again away from Andre's ice cream stand and towards the school. She stopped right by the front stairs and sat at the bottom of them to catch her breath. Jirou felt like she didn't know what to do at this point. She was actually enjoying herself here in Paris, and everyone else wanted to leave so quickly.

Especially since her and Adrien were dating now, she felt like leaving him now was too soon. She just started to get to know him better. Now with Midoriya's quirk being an answer to sending them all back home, she had to eventually say goodbye to him.

More tears started to fall down her face as she thought about that night when Adrien and her kissed for the first time. How beautiful the starry night sky was. How bright the Paris lights were. How it felt to finally kiss him.

Then she realized what Andre meant when they shouldn't be together. This is what he meant. She's not even from here. This Paris isn't hers, and her Japan isn't his. She had never felt this way about anyone before. Yes, she missed Kaminari, but this was completely different.

"Adr-Adrien..."

"Kyouka...?"

Jirou heard that familiar voice walking up to her and felt herself stiffen up. She wasn't scared or anything, she just didn't know what to say to Adrien right now. He must've seen her run off on the Eiffel Tower and was worried about her.

She eventually looked up to see Adrien's soft, green eyes looking down at her. He looked worried for his girlfriend and reached out to help her up.

That look in his eyes made her heart flutter as she held his hand ever so gently. He smiled at her with such genuine warmth and pulled her into a hug. She didn't expect it, but hugged him back anyway.

"Adr-Adrien... I-I'm sorry for running off like that... I just... couldn't be there much longer... Not after what Ladybug just told everyone," Jirou said to him through his shirt.

They let go of each other, and Adrien had a confused look on his face.

"Wait, you're upset because we've found a way home for you guys. I thought you'd be excited about this," Adrien said to her.

Out of all of her friends she's made recently, Adrien was not the one she thought would say something like that. She felt a sick to her stomach for a moment, even though she knew he meant nothing by it.

"Adrien, I thought you wanted us to stay for a while. You know, to get to know me--... us, better," Jirou said to him.

Adrien straightened up and held her hand, caressing his thumb over hers.

"You know I care about you, Kyouka," Adrien said to Jirou with kind eyes, "But, your friends probably miss everyone back home. Don't you want to go back also? To your friends and family?"

Jirou was about to answer him, but couldn't find the right words to say to him. Adrien waited patiently for her to respond, but nothing came up. She looked at him with such compassion that she realized something she never thought would happen. A part of her even wished this wasn't the case.

Jirou was in love with Adrien.

She felt her cheeks warm up from this realization and pulled away from him a little too quickly.

"This is bad, Adrien..." Jirou said to him, "You and I... we shouldn't have gotten together in the first place..."

Adrien looked a little hurt by this, but he wasn't backing down from her. He still wanted to help her however he could.

"If this is about Andre's, that wasn't anything--"

"It's not just him, Adrien. It's the fact that me and my class don't belong here. We're going back home soon and that means leaving our new friends behind. Including you," She said to him with more tears flowing down her face, "This just doesn't feel right. Us being together just feels like too much."

Adrien felt his stomach churn after what she had just said to him. He tried to stop her from going inside the school by grabbing onto her hand. She looked back at him and saw such a sad look on his face that she wanted to forgive him right then and there.

Jirou then spotted her class coming towards them and felt like she should hide when she spotted Marinette walking up to them. Before they could walk up to check on the two of them, Jirou ran into the school leaving Adrien behind.

"Kyouka! Wait!" Adrien cried out.

He looked back at his partner and Class 1-A. They all looked worried for their friends, but hoped this was not anything that might stir up an akuma.

Adrien felt something grow inside of him when he saw Jirou disappear behind those doors. It felt like the moment when they will be leaving to go back to their Japan. For good.

Adrien's eyes widened for a moment, but then felt his legs running after her once he thought about never seeing her again. The school doors busted open, causing students all around the gym to look at him. Jirou was right in the middle of the floor, and she about to run off again.

"Kyouka!" Adrien cried out, causing her to stop running, "I don't care if you're leaving soon!"

Jirou's face was bright red from all of this attention on her and him. She didn't dare move from her spot as he walked up to her slowly.

"If we only have a little while longer to be together, then I'd rather spend the rest of the time we got left to go out. To be a couple."

Jirou's heart had never felt so light and fluttery for someone like him before. She never thought she would ever find anyone as special as him in a place like this. Especially since she never planned on doing so in the first place.

Adrien held her hand tightly and tucked her hair behind her ear. He even caressed her earphone jack very gently, making her look away from him for a moment.

"Kyouka, I really like you. Please, will you give me another chance?" Adrien asked her, "If it ends up being too hard for you, I'll give you some space."

Class 1-A and Ladybug had been watching the entire time, especially Ashido. She looked like she was about to squeal from excitement. Even some of the students that had just came out of classes were watching as well.

Jirou smiled back at him and started to chuckle with a blush subtly forming around her cheeks.

"You really are such a dork," Jirou said to him.

She let Adrien gently pull her in for a kiss, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. A lot of students cheered for the new couple as they finally got to see them kiss. Some of the students, mostly Marinette's friends noticed how passionate Adrien was with Jirou and spotted Marinette watching with Class 1-A.

Alya stood in the crowd, hoping she will be okay with this new couple being a thing. Even Zoe felt bad for her.

Marinette watched by the sidelines as her partner looked into another girl's eyes so sweetly with their foreheads pressed against each other. It looked very romantic. She never thought Adrien would ever end up anyone else after Kagami, but this slowly started to become a thing.

But then, the more she looked at how happy Adrien was, the more she noticed that he was actually enjoying being with someone after what happened with his father. She felt a smile form across her face, maybe even a little bit of a tear when she realized that he deserved this. To be with someone he actually cared about. She knew Jirou was going home soon, but in the meantime, Marinette was just glad that they could enjoy each other's company while she was still here.

"I'm really happy for you, Adrien..." Marinette thought.

In HawkMoth's Lair...

Chrysalis walked around the lair with satisfaction as she held the Rabbit Miraculous in her hands. Just by holding it, she could tell what HawkMoth did was definitely unique. She had to admit, she was impressed with what he was able to accomplish with Midoriya's quirk. This Miraculous didn't feel like the other ones.

It had a certain aura to it. Like it didn't belong here.

Chrysalis smiled down at it as Dekku floated around her with a nervous look on his face. He wanted to get away from her and go find his owner, but he couldn't. Something was stopping him from doing so. He couldn't even phase through the walls.

"Dekku, was it...? You can call me Chrysalis," Chrysalis said the Kwami, "Tell me, is this really a Miraculous?"

Dekku looked so frightened at what she might do if he said the wrong thing to her. He curled up his legs to his chest and held them as he answered her.

"Wha-What do you mean exactly, Chr-Chrysalis?" Dekku asked back.

She clenched her teeth in annoyance and stomped her way over to the Kwami. He felt so intimidated by her that he suddenly felt the need to slip about his quirk.

"You know exactly what I mean," Chrysalis growled at the Kwami, "Gabriel Agreste made this stupid keychain! He didn't tell me everything about your friend. So I want to know, did he really make this, or did Ladybug give this to Izuku Midoriya?!"

Dekku felt something come over him and couldn't help but tell her the truth.

"Ye-Yes, Gabriel Agreste made this Miraculous. He took Izuku Midoriya's quirk and put it into what you are holding now. Ladybug never gave it to him in the first place because it was never a Miraculous to begin with."

Chrysalis smiled back at him, knowing full well that the Kwami might say something along those lines.

"That's exactly what I needed to hear," She said to the Kwami, "Gabriel mentioned something about Izuku having multiple quirks. I've never heard of such a thing. Is that what they call a superpower in Japan or something?"

Dekku really didn't want to tell her, but it just came out again.

"Ye-Yes, expect this Paris isn't where they were heading. They were going to a field trip to Paris, but they ended up getting transported to this one instead," Dekku explained, but felt guilty for doing so.

"So, they really don't belong here," Chrysalis said as she played with her cane.

Silence filled the lair as Dekku waited for Chrysalis to speak. He looked around the lair, hoping to find a way out of there. He really needed to find Midoriya, she was getting too close to finding out the truth.

Chrysalis walked up to the damaged machine in the lair and wiped off some dust to look at the broken screen. She tried to turn it on, but it wasn't going to anytime soon. Hitting the machine, she started to pace again rather slowly.

"If that machine has what I think it has on it, I can finally find out where they come from," Chrysalis said to the Kwami, but then realized she had said too much to it.

She needed to stay quiet about this just in case something came up.

Dekku spotted a piece of the butterfly window missing a piece of glass. His eyes lit up and noticed Chrysalis's back was turned. The Kwami snuck away from her and flew out of the lair. The Kwami breathed in and out the fresh air. Once it realized what it had done, it quickly flew towards the school.

"Izuku... I'm coming for you...!"

Another amazing chapter!

Jirou and Adrien had a pretty good moment together! She really likes Adrien, and she's starting to wonder about Andre's and what's going on with Class 1-A's way back home. Jirou almost broke up with him, but it seems Adrien was able to bring them back together.

Marinette's starting to get around to being happy for Adrien and Jirou. That's good!

Chrysalis is in Gabriel's lair, yes. She's broken in there to try to get the machine running again. Dekku accidentally revealed some stuff about Class 1-A, but he got away!

More to come soon!
