"Whoa, quite the nice ship you have here. Sorry for breaking it." Ben said with a smirk.
"You're Ben Cooper, the one His Highness kept mentioning lately." August remarked.
"Sorry, but tell Zeref that I have a wife." Ben jokingly stated, but it seems they don't get it which made it awkward.
"Anyway. I didn't come here for pleasantries, so there's no need to prepare food and drinks." Ben said.
"I assume you came here for God Serena." August guessed.
"Isn't it obvious? I need to punish the traitor." Ben asked with a smirk.
"HA HA HA! You? Punish me? You sure know how to make people laugh, kid. Just because you've killed dragons doesn't mean you are strong enough to defeat me. I can do what you did easily and slay even more dragons than you. Besides, I heard that you couldn't even defeat Acnologia, so don't think too highly of yourself." God Serena haughtily said.
"Sure, whatever you say. You're a coward who never accepted my challenge. You can't get away now, so we'll decide this once and for all. It's actually a good thing that you defected to the Alvarez Empire. Now I have a reason to beat you up and even kill you." Ben smirked.
God Serena didn't take it lightly because Ben was looking down on him. He is known as the strongest on Ishgar, it's his pride. So Ben's words really pissed him off and he wanted to rip Ben's body apart.
God Serena got ready to attack Ben, but he suddenly vanished from his spot. At the same time, they heard a loud crash and look in it's direction. They saw Ben was already there and he was holding Jacob's head that was slammed into the floor.
Even August was surprised by this because Ben detected Jacob after he used his Stealth Magic. Jacob's Stealth Magic is so advanced that even the other Spriggans can't detect him. But Ben who had never met Jacob before saw through his stealth and even attacked him.
"A Stealth Magic that erases appearance, smell and even sound, huh? Interesting, but not good enough. If you want to fool me, you'll also need to erase your magic power completely. Even so, I can still see you because your magic works by altering light. You won't be able to fool a Sun God's eyes with a light trick." Ben said while lifting Jacob up by the head.
Jacob was still conscious and didn't receive a lot of injuries. He isn't a Spriggan for nothing, and besides the ground isn't that hard for someone like him. Even so, he can't free himself from Ben's grasp no matter how hard he tried.
He tried to attack Ben, but he can block all of his attacks while still holding his head. Then he tried to use his Spatial Magic to move Ben to his pocket dimension. But it didn't work even after he clapped his hands a few times.
"Surprised? Well, let me tell you something. You can't use it on someone much stronger than you. Even more so if that person has mastered Spatial Magic. But your attacks are annoying, so let's stop this facade." Ben said before snapping his fingers.
Suddenly, everyone felt their bodies become very heavy. Everyone other than the 4 strong mages fell to the floor. The floating ship then starts falling at high speed and finally crashed into the rocky ground below.
That fall completely destroyed the ship and people are injured. Only the four monsters are fine and now they all look at Ben seriously. They can feel that Ben hasn't used his full power, but they can feel how strong he is already by now.
Ben then released the Gravity Magic and freed everyone, except Jacob. He was still using his Gravity Magic on Jacob, preventing the guy from moving because it's much stronger than what Ben used to make the ship fall.
"You seem like the type of guy that will meddle in things that aren't his business, so I'll remove you first." Ben said before increasing the gravity.
The gravity kept increasing while Jacob's head is still being held by Ben. Jacob can feel his body being pulled down, yet he didn't fall because Ben held his head. Ben's hand didn't move even slightly even when Jacob's body pulled him down.
Even if gravity doesn't affect Ben, Jacob's weight which kept increasing surely affected him. But Ben's hand still didn't move despite the heavy weight that he held. This shows how powerful he is now.
August tried to attack Ben and help Jacob, but then Ben also used his Gravity Magic on August and God Serena to hinder their movements. Without any help, Jacob finally submits to Ben's superiority. His body can't hold it any longer as all his blood is being pulled down and gathered in his feet.
The strong gravity prevented Jacob's blood from circulating. He passes out when he doesn't have enough blood supply. Shortly after that, the blood entering his heart also decreased before disappearing completely.
Jacob then died when his heart stops because there's no more blood that can be pumped. The blood that gathered in his feet also finally burst out like in a horror movie scene. Everyone's eyes widened as they saw Ben easily kill Jacob, a Spriggan.
"Heh, he could survive this long. He's stronger than I thought. Others will have their neck ripped because of the strong pull." Ben said as he released Jacob's dead body.
Ben then looked at August and God Serena before saying, "It's your turn now."
God Serena smirks and laughs. "HA HA HA! Interesting, very interesting. I thought you were just a kid who thought too highly of himself. But you actually have skill. Now I really want to fight you and see your other skills. August, stay back, I will handle him myself." God Serena said as his pupils become black.
God Serena suddenly released a massive amount of magic power. Ben was surprised because God Serena was stronger than he thought. Now he can understand why God Serena is so arrogant. This guy can back up his claim about killing a dragon.
Ben smirked and said, "So this is the power of the man once known as Ishgar's strongest mage. I must say, I'm impressed and you really deserve that title. But at the same time, I'm also disappointed. If you're just this strong, then you won't stand a chance against Acnologia. Man, even the weakened Igneel could rip you apart."
"Hah, you're really good with your mouth, kid. Then why don't you feel the power of Ishgar's strongest mage. Cavern Dragon Earth Collapse!" God Serena shouted as green light appeared around him and he slammed his hands down on the ground.
God Serena just used his Cavern Dragon Slayer Magic. The ground broke apart and sent Ben flying into the air. Many Alvarez soldiers were sent flying as well, but then they suddenly appear on the ground thanks to August's magic.
"So this is the power of the man who has eight Dragon Slayer Magics. Maybe he is the Hybrid Theory, the man chosen by gods." August said while grinning
The ground was destroyed by God Serena's attack. This was a sufficient display of magic power by the strongest mage in Ishgar.
But August's grin soon fades. God Serena's grin also disappeared when they spot Ben floating above the hole created by his magic without a scratch. They saw him fly into the air, but he was fine.
No one knew how he defended himself because they saw he was sent flying. They had no idea Ben coated himself in his Gravity Magic. He used his gravity to create a repulsive force around him that repelled the boulders, so it still looked like he was hit.
Ben giggled and said, "Pfft, the strongest mage was throwing rocks in a battle. You should be ashamed. Even my children throw rocks better than you do."
Tick marks appear on God Serena's forehead as he said. "Damn bastard! You'll regret making me furious."
Ben just grinned and held his right hand forward to make a taunting gesture. "You better. Otherwise you'll be the one who ends up regretting it."
