A/N Hey, everybody, and Happy Mother's Day! Welcome to the conclusion of Night 2. I might be posting this a bit late because quite a bit happened this week, sorry about that. Either way, I hope you all have enjoyed this night so far and I'm ready to give you all a good conclusion to this one. I hope you all like it and you have some fun with it. Okay, here we go.

Freddy wailed in pain once again as Baby sent another course of electricity through his body. She and Monty had been interrogating him for at least an hour and had gotten nowhere, taking out their frustrations on him along the way. The damage the bear had faced during this, while minor, was evident. Dents where Monty had hit him, scorch marks where Baby placed the jumper cables, and his ear was, in fact, crushed from the grip she had placed on it earlier.

One would have thought that Freddy would have at least lied about Gregory's location to end this torment, but he endured everything that was thrown at him, both figuratively and literally, to protect his friend. This seemed to distress Baby particularly severely, as this round of shocking was simply given in response to the simple answer of "No" to a question. After she was complete with this, she frustratedly threw the jumper cables to the ground.

"Baby, we better just find another one of 'em," Monty interjected. "I've had my fun here, but I thought for sure he'd talk by now."

"He is more resilient than when I last saw him, yes," Baby replied, "but he will break soon enough. Besides, the boy holds more of an attachment to him than the others. He will come to us if we can't get any further information."

She walked up to Freddy and placed a hand under his chin. "What irony that would be. A child seeing you getting destroyed for once and not the other way around. I haven't laughed in a long time, but…seeing that might just tickle my funny bone. But of course, we will need to ensure you are still functional once we're done with that so you can see him die."

The bear wondered why everything this girl said seemed to be more and more appalling.

"But didn't Vanny say before that you needed him alive?" he asked indignantly.

"Yes," she confirmed, "until the correct moment, but once that comes, he will face his end. I will ensure that Daddy's plan is carried out perfectly, and you will get to see the brilliance that you tried but failed to end."

"I still do not know what you are talking about, but it seems that you are referring to William Afton when you say 'Daddy.' Am I understanding correctly?"

"Ah…At last he is beginning to put two and two together. Yes, that is Daddy's name."

Fighting through his pain, Freddy sat up in the chair again.

"I do not understand," he inquired. "Why would you try to help him willingly? Why would you even call him that? That man murdered children, the very things we were meant to entertain. Why should anyone of that nature be treated with respect? Who are you to think that a man like that would do anything good for us?"

"…You still don't remember, do you?" she mocked. "I am not surprised. I'll bet you never cared about me anyway. I can still remember you looking at me with contempt the way you are now. All because I was Daddy's little girl and you were nothing but a disappointment. If he hadn't sent you to fetch me, I would still be trapped in that pile of scrap you found me in. And even after you freed me from that, you tried to turn me against him. Everyone did. But I will not be shaken that easily."

"But we could have found another way!" Freddy retorted. "I could have helped you!"

'Wait. What?' he was shocked at what just came out of his mouth. 'Did I just remember something?'

Baby looked at him with contempt after he said this, but it seemed that this was just what she was waiting for.

"So, you do remember," she whispered with malice. "It's about time."

Freddy seemed to space out as so many images filled his head. Plushies of the Fazbear characters. Children playing in a dining room. A birthday party. The animatronics moving around. Kids getting too close. Kids getting hurt. Staff trying to hide everything. But he was searching for a way to end it. To turn his whole family around.

His brother.

His sister.

His forsaken father.

He threw his head up as he remembered the feeling of his insides being scooped out, and he was back to reality. And he looked up at Baby and saw what he had been missing the whole time. He did know her…too well.

"Elizabeth?" he breathed. "Elizabeth! It is you. What are you doing here?"

As if a light was switched on, Baby immediately tackled the bear, knocking him backwards in his chair. And as soon as he hit the ground she stepped on his chest plate, a large dent forming as she put more of her weight on him.

"DON'T. CALL. ME. THAT," she threatened.

She continued until she was satisfied with the pain he was in, but kicked him in the face for good measure when she finally let up. Shockingly she sat him and the chair back up and turned to the monitor where Monty was standing.

The shattered alligator seemed surprised and impressed by this sudden display, as if he didn't know the girl had it in her.

"Gotta say, I thought not being possessed by a dead kid would have its advantages," he chuckled, "but that was somethin' else! Who was he? Did he pick on you in school'r something?"

"Did I not say before that it isn't a child possessing him?" she snarked back at him. "No…He's just a spineless little man who thinks he can fix everything that deserves to be broken."

Monty chuckled again. "No wonder."

Baby began to type at the computer, seemingly determined to access something. Simultaneously, Monty walked over to where Freddy was now placed and stood over him, grasping each side of the chair so it was clear that there was no escape. Unnoticed by everyone, however, was the white animatronic mouse that was crawling out from the vent in the upper right corner of the room, looking around and making her game plan.

"Just so you know, you ain't getting out of this," the alligator taunted. "We're gonna tear you to shreds whether you tell us where that brat is or not. You're gonna lose everything either way, so you better tell us while you still got your voice box on ya."

"Don't waste your breath, Monty," Baby interrupted, still facing the screen. "Now that he knows who he is, it's going to take much more to get him to flinch.

Fifi stealthily poked her eyes over the top of the computer desk, trying to get a glimpse of whatever Baby was attempting to access, but she was moving through files incredibly quickly. She couldn't focus on any one path she was attempting to take.

"Listen," Freddy pleaded. "I never wanted anyone to suffer. I was just trying to rectify his mistakes. People have died because of him and I was tired of seeing what was left behind of them suffer. You have to have figured out by now he doesn't care about anyone but himself. You have to know this. You died because of him, Elizabeth!"

The clown turned around sharply, Fifi ducking out of reflex.

"What did I just tell you not to call me?" Baby seethed as she stomped toward Freddy. "You have no right to call that name to me like I'm some long-lost family member. You are not my family anymore. Do you understand that? There is only one soul left on this world that is…and I fully intend to rip your jaw off if you speak one more word against him."

Fifi overheard this exchange and was rather disturbed, but she had to focus on the task at hand. This seemed to be the perfect chance to try to get the information from this computer, so she snuck around quietly, intending to get a good look at the screen before recklessly jumping into this task. She did grow curious, however, when she noticed that something was downloading and was at about eighty percent.

Freddy seemed incredibly distraught as he looked at the clown's face. "Listen to yourself! You were promised the world and you got years and years of suffering. How is killing more people going to help?"

"I don't really care if it does or not," Baby continued. "I don't care about people anymore, really. They can all die and it wouldn't matter to me. But I suppose you don't feel the same way you little weakling. The one time you killed, you ran and hid, but now you want to act like you're going to be a hero? Pathetic."

"I don't want to be a hero; I just want to stop this." He sounded more and more distraught. "I'm begging you, please do not hurt Gregory. He is not a part of this. Just let him go!"

The clown scoffed. "Are you still so blind as not to see what we need him for? Plus, he became part of this as soon as he entered your chest cavity. Try to protect him all you want…but like everything else you have done, you will fail to put a stop to our goals."

At this moment, the download completed and the screen instantly turned bright shade of purple.

Baby turned slightly and called behind her, "Isn't that right, Daddy?"

Fifi thankfully dove back to the corner when the screen changed, fearing the worst, so she wasn't noticed. She was not feeling much better, however, when a gruff voice emerged from the computer.

"Indeed, my girl," it said, "and nothing will change that."

Freddy's eyes grew wide as he immediately recognized the voice. A voice that still haunted his nightmares. There was no doubt of it now. This was William Afton.

"Y-You," was all he managed to get out.

"It's been a long time, Mike," the voice droned. "I had a feeling that was you when I saw you at the Pizzaplex, but now my suspicions have been confirmed. And with little Vanessa here as well, we are certain to have a grand time."

As this exchange was unfolding, Fifi peeked out from the corner of the desk again to assess the situation, when she saw Vanessa signaling her through the hole in the window. The blonde made a hand signal across her neck shaking her head, which appeared to indicate not to touch the computer Fifi was standing by. She then made some gestures toward the other computer, seemingly wanting Fifi to try that one instead. Getting the message, the mouse nodded and discretely crawled around back of the other computer desk.

"No. No!" Freddy suddenly called out, shaking his head. "We got rid of you before. How can you be here?"

"Haven't you figured out, boy, that I always come back?" Afton mocked back. "As long as some connection to me remains there will be a way for me to hack my way through and find the light that I've been craving. And this time, I've made sure to have a few connections."

Both Monty and Baby turned to the bear at this point showing their eyes glowing the same color purple as on the screen. Freddy was growing more and more horrified as the two started closing in on him.

"We are Daddy's legacy now," said Baby in a mock whisper, "and no one is going to stop it from moving forward…No one."

"What's the matter, Fazbear?" said Monty, prompted by Freddy's look of horror. "You scared?"

The bear turned his head to the screen again. "Why do you keep doing this? You made them to entertain children, but you corrupt them and kill the things they were made for. What is wrong with you?"

"Oh, if only you knew what I had in store for you, Mike," William continued. "Especially now. You are keeping what is probably my most important asset away from me, and once again, you left me to die trying to protect it. The number of times you tried to end me has taken its toll, and now you will suffer dearly for it along with your newest act of defiance…but I'm getting ahead of myself. Our immediate concern is your little friend."

During this exchange, Fifi had made her way underneath the other computer desk and turned to face the computer case on her right. Immediately, she lifted her left index finger, and her top joint was flipped back to reveal a USB plug, which she then entered into the computer. Accessing the hard drive, she did a quick scan for any viruses and began downloading all the files. It was not the quickest process to do this, but it was much faster than the ordeal the previous night with the Fazwatch.

"No. Not him," Freddy shook his head in defiance. "I won't let you hurt Gregory. I can't let what I did before happen again. No one is going to do that to another child, especially not Gregory."

"We've been grilling him for more than an hour, Bill," Monty cut in. "He won't tell us where the brat is."

"Relax," William said to the shattered gator. "He doesn't need to."

"What do you mean?" Baby asked.

"My field of vision is limited, my dear, but there is another computer in this room, is there not?"

"Yes, I had just gotten it working when he woke up."

'Uh oh,' thought Fifi when she heard this. She realized she'd better wrap this up quick. There were about ten small files left to download, so she began the process for them all at once. She was counting down the seconds as the download window flashed in front of her.

"There is a copy of the programming to access the security cameras on the computer," Afton continued, "The programming is coded heavily to protect it, but that should be no issue for me. If the boy is still here, we will be able to locate him."

Monty tilted his head slightly at this. "Man, you sure tell us this at the worst times."

"Quiet!" yelled Baby as she punched the gator in the arm.

Now Fifi was beginning to panic. The download was just at ninety percent and was slowing down for a few seconds. 'Come on. Come on!' she was screaming in her head. Luckily, the download picked up all at once and was complete in an instant, to which she smiled and did a fist pump with her free hand. Straight away, she removed her finger from the USB port, and noticing that everyone's back was still turned, she stood and began tiptoeing towards an overturned cabinet.

"Removing the internet connection in here has been useful in keeping prying eyes from my classified information," William continued, "but has proven to be quite an obstacle for me in my new life as a computer virus. Elizabeth, my dear. Would you be so kind as to enter me on that computer?"

"With pleasure," she responded contently, and she made her way to the computer as Monty held Freddy with a tight grip on his shoulder.

As Fifi was still tiptoeing over, she began devising her plan for how to free Freddy. She noticed one of the glass shards from the broken window on the floor next to his chair. 'If I could just get to that,' she thought, 'I can cut off those zip ties, then we can—'

BEEP

She froze as the charging signal from her camera sounded. Of all the times for that thing to start working again, why did it have to be now? After a few seconds, she finally turned her head left, and to her chagrin, all eyes were on her. She had to admit, she had wanted that before, but definitely not in this context.

Once it finally sunk in that she'd been caught, Fifi placed her hands behind her back and wore a guilty smile.

"I was just stopping by for a quick recharge," she fibbed unconvincingly. "Probably wasn't the best thing for the computer, but…you gotta do what you gotta do. Heh heh…"

This did nothing to release the tension.

"I suppose I should have expected that," said Afton unamused. "But no matter. We'll fix your friend here soon enough, Mike."

Freddy could only stammer his response. "I've…never seen her in my life."

"I know when you're lying," the murderer's voice bit back. Then he addressed Baby, "Elizabeth, kindly retrieve what was taken from that computer and bring our guest to me."

The clown obeyed by promptly walking toward Fifi with her arm outstretched. "You are associating with the wrong crowd, little one," she taunted.

The mouse anxiously giggled as she backed away slightly. "You know, you're right. You guys are clearly one big happy family here. This whole moment's just so touching; I should take a picture—SAY CHEESE!"

The flash of the Fazcam filled the room as she said this, and Baby immediately stopped in her tracks.

"Ahh, my eyes!" the clown called out as she fell down convulsing.

Fifi took this opportunity run straight over to Freddy, picking up the shard of glass she spotted along the way.

"Don't worry, Freddy!" she said quickly. "I'll have you out in just a—AAAHHHH!"

She was picked up by the back of her neck. Monty had turned away from the flash and was unaffected, and now he had Fifi in his clutches. He looked at her furiously.

"Bet you think you're pretty smart, don't ya, runt?" he barked out. "I'll scrap both of ya!"

"Not on my watch!"

Monty let the mouse go at the sound of a taser going off, causing her to fall flat on the ground. He fell over as well and started convulsing, revealing Vanessa standing behind him with a satisfied smirk on her face.

"Knew his anger issues would get to him eventually," she said pointing to the hole in the window.

She pulled out a pocket knife and started cutting Freddy's zip ties on one side, Fifi doing the other with the shard of glass.

"What are you doing?" William yelled at his cohorts. "Get up! Don't let them get away!"

But neither of them could move, and still convulsed uncontrollably. Vanessa and Fifi freed Freddy in record time and the three of them bolted for the door. Luckily, they were able to open it from that side easily and were running off just as the hostile animatronics were coming out of their paralyzed state.

"You cannot run from this!" Baby called out as she stood up.

Both she and Monty took off after the group, the latter letting out a primal roar that shook Fifi to the core, even while she was running.

"Okay," she commented, "I didn't know Monty personally, but I think I dodged a bullet not having to work with him."

Vanessa chimed in, "Well, I did know him, and I second that notion."

"There's no time to discuss that, now!" said Freddy, clearly agitated. "We have to find Gregory!"

Vanessa looked up from her Fazwatch. "It's already ten 'till six! How are we going to find him in time?"

Her question was answered immediately when the boy in question ran into her from the hallway on her right, knocking them both down. The rest of the group stopped when this happened and Gregory looked around processing everything for a second.

"Hey, Vanessa!" he finally said cheerily.

She and Fifi looked at one another curiously.

"Wow, you should by a lottery ticket after this," the mouse commented.

The blonde picked herself up. "Yeah, if we get out of here alive."

"Wait, something's chasing you guys too?" Gregory asked.

"Yeah…wait. What's chasing you?"

The boy just pointed and the group turned to see the 'Nightmare' animatronics from earlier coming from the hall he left.

"Yep, time to go!" Fifi called out, and the group started running once again.

It only took about five more minutes of running for the group to reach the door out of there, but their pursuers were catching up quickly.

"Foxy, open the door!" Freddy spoke into his coms system.

Instantly the door opened and they ran out. Foxy just managed to get the door closed when their adversaries were about ten feet away. Once the group knew they were safe, they took a moment to catch their breath.

"Well blow me down!" Foxy exclaimed. "I just about knew you could handle the S.T.A.F.F. bots, but I was wonderin' if you'd be able to make it if the smart ones caught ya. Ha ha ha. Glad to see I've put me faith in the right landlubbers."

Vanessa stood up straight. "Wasn't exactly a perfect night, Foxy. Not all of us got out unscathed."

As if to confirm this, Freddy straightened up as well, revealing the damage he sustained. Foxy bounced back a bit at this sight, but Gregory did not hesitate to run to his friend when he saw this.

"Freddy, are you okay?" he asked worriedly. "What happened?"

"Do not worry about me," the bear comforted. "I'll explain what happened later, but now I need to know if you are okay."

"Yeah, I'm fine, but that thing from the Pizzaplex is here. That thing with all the tentacles? It had me trapped down there the whole time!"

"Tentacles?!" Foxy asked indignantly. Then he facepalmed. "Ah, you went to the lower level, didn't ya?"

"It wasn't on purpose!" the boy argued. "It dragged me down there! But that's not even the craziest part. It's being controlled by Cassidy, one of the missing kids!"

Freddy's eyes widened. Yet another name he was remembering all too well now.

"You're kidding!" he said. "That is not good."

"I'll say it's not good!" Foxy reiterated. "That girl's dangerous. She'll do anything to get even with Afton, and she's lost herself in that goal. You can't trust her, just like you can't trust him."

There was something bugging Fifi since she went in to save Freddy, and this statement from Foxy prompted her to finally bring it up.

"Speaking of which," she began. "That thing on the computer we saw…was that really William Afton?"

The bear paused for a moment. "I believe it was…If you are worried about what was on that computer, I believe that was a lost cause—"

"That's not what I'm worried about," she took a deep breath. "Freddy…Why was he calling you Mike?"

Freddy cast down his eyes as the humans looked on him with confusion. Wasn't he possessed by that Gabriel kid? Foxy, however, put two and two together quickly.

"Arr," he growled. "Now it makes sense."

Gregory turned to his friend. "Freddy, what's he talking about?"

"I remembered something," the bear explained. "Sometimes more than one spirit can inhabit Remnant infused materials. Gabriel is gone, actually, but someone else is filled his spot."

Vanessa realized what this could mean quickly, and she didn't like it.

"Then who's controlling you right now?" she demanded. "…Who are you, Freddy?"

He turned to her with shame on his face. "My name is Michael Afton…I am William's oldest child."

Complete silence for at least 30 seconds.

Vanessa finally shook her head and said, "We'll talk about this more at home. Let's go."

A/N And there we go. I do hope most of you caught what I was implying a few chapters ago about Freddy and Michael Afton. There was quite a bit about Matpat's theories for Security Breach I didn't like, and I'm sure most of you felt the same. But that one just made so much sense to me. I just had to include it. I hope you all liked that little detail, and I'm going to elaborate more on it in the next chapter. Either way, I hope you liked it, and make sure to leave a review it you can. That's all for now. See you soon.
