A/N Hey everybody, I'm back! Vacation was fun, but I was extremely anxious to get back to writing. First of all, though, I would like to thank everyone for the positive feedback. I'm glad this story has at least gotten some people reading. Your support on this means the world to me as well, so please keep it up. Anyway, this will be the second Aftermath to Night 3, and we will get to see more development for Roxy. So, let's get right into it.

When Roxy finally woke up, she felt incredibly stiff. Really, she was just halfway awake and felt like going right back to sleep again. Her stiffness was giving her a bit of a headache as well, and she lifted a hand to her forehead to try and release it. Moaning slightly, she looked at the ceiling above her and tried to focus on one thing to relieve the pressure, but she was too drowsy to focus on anything. After a few seconds of trying this, she gave up and tried to go back to sleep…and that's when it finally hit her that she could see again.

Now fully awake, she gasped and turned to look at what was above her again. A light surrounded by several mechanical limbs hanging from the ceiling. She then remembered where she was. Gregory had brought her to Vanessa's house so she could get fixed, and it looked like that was done. She felt beneath her and noticed she was still on the maintenance chair. If she had her eyes back, then would that mean…She raised her hand in front of her, and though she couldn't see it clearly, it looked like the casing was intact where it was once broken. Had she been fixed already?

"Finally awake?" came Henry's voice.

Roxy quickly looked to her left while still lying down to see the monitor of the fabricator, the blue screen illuminating the console beneath it.

"I was beginning to get a little worried," Henry's voice came again, the screen flashing with each word.

The wolf certainly wasn't expecting that. His voice didn't even sound synthesized, so she thought there would be some middle-aged man standing over her. But she just appeared to be speaking to a program on a computer. Was this really the one that tried to fix her? Thinking back, though, she realized this wasn't the most unexpected thing that's happened so far.

"H…How long was I out?" She finally squeaked out.

"I began the repair process at about seven o'clock this morning," he continued. "That actually took about five hours. Then I did a run of your systems immediately afterwards. That took about one hour, and you've been asleep ever since. It's about three o' clock now."

Her eyes widened. She was in rest mode for eight hours? Three of which was spent not doing anything?

"Well…why didn't you wake me up?" she asked, still slightly groggy.

"It was quite a bit of work, and I wanted things to settle properly," Henry said. "Plus, you looked like you really needed the rest…Am I right?"

Roxy looked at the monitor and solemnly nodded. "…Yeah."

"…Things will get better, I promise," he comforted.

She didn't say anything, but she really hoped he was right.

"…I've alerted the others," he continued. "They should be down here any minute. In the meantime, let's get you standing so you can work out that stiffness you undoubtedly feel."

Roxy grabbed onto the armrests as the chair was returned to its upright position. When it finally stopped moving, she slowly pushed herself off of the chair and planted her feet on the floor. She took a moment to look around and get her bearings, then she began rolling her shoulder to work out the stiffness. As she did this, she looked at her hands again and saw that they seemed to be back to their original state. She wondered if things really would be getting better for her. Her thoughts were interrupted, however, by a knock on the door.

"You can come on in!" called Henry, after which the doorknob began to turn.

The wolf anxiously turned right to face the door. Little by little it opened until she could see, at last, the ten-year-old orphan she'd been chasing for the past month, Gregory. He stepped in to meet her with a big smile on his face.

"Hey there, sleepyhead," he greeted cheerfully. "Feeling any better?"

She stared at him for a few seconds. "I…I don't know."

She could see the claw marks on his face where she scratched him, and she also noticed that there was now a shoulder brace on his right arm. She knew what she had done the night before, but actually being able to see it now was a little overwhelming. Plus, she still couldn't believe the one she did this to was ready to give her a friendly greeting and push it all to the side was just so confusing.

"I can see where you're staring, you know," the boy said suddenly.

"Oh-uh-shoot," she fumbled, "I'm sorry, I just…Oh, I can't believe I did this."

"Roxy, it's okay. Really," he comforted. "Like I said, it would have been a lot worse if you didn't stop yourself. Besides, Vanessa said it was just dislocated."

The blonde in question then stepped in. "Yeah," she said, "but there are a few smaller breaks around it from what I could feel, so you're going to have to wear that brace for a few days at least. You're lucky I had that lying around from when I dislocated my shoulder once."

"Well, I've been pretty lucky since you took me in, haven't I?" he responded.

"That's why I'm here," Vanessa snapped back playfully. "For when it runs out again."

She patted his head at this, and he chuckled as he pushed her hand away. The other animatronics finally stepped in behind them.

"Oh, Roxy, you're looking so much better!" Freddy exclaimed as he came in. "Excellent work as always, Henry."

"Yeah, really," said Fifi right after. "I'm halfway tempted to jump in a shark tank and see if you can fix me up afterwards."

"Please don't do that," Henry replied, "…but thank you."

As this exchange happened, Roxy looked at Freddy with the same confusion as she did with Gregory. Even though she knew her old friend was forgiving, she still thought he would be disappointed at what she did at best, and completely shun her at worst. But he still treated her with the same warmth he always had, even when she was a jerk to him. Then, she turned her attention to the five-foot mouse next to him.

"Um…" the wolf said, "That is you, isn't it, Fifi?"

"Sure is!" came the cheerful response. "Are you glad to finally see me?"

Now that she was able to see her, Roxy realized that she would have likely seen Fifi as a threat to her popularity. She probably would have been rude to the mouse as well, and things might have spiraled more downward than they already had. But after going through what she went through, Roxy didn't want to be that kind of person anymore, so instead…

"…Yeah," she nodded, "…and you're so cute."

Fifi was not expecting that at all. If she could blush, she would have done it then.

"Uh heh, heh. Thank you," she said, "I might still need some cleaning up, though…but you look great! You really do!"

"She's not kidding, Roxy," said Gregory. "You look as good as new."

The wolf cast her eyes down, but could feel herself smiling. "Come on, guys. It can't be that good."

"We wouldn't lie to you about that," said Vanessa. "Why don't you just take a look for yourself? I brought this down for that."

Roxy finally looked up at Vanessa and noticed she was carrying a full-length mirror under her left arm. The reflective side was turned away, though, so she couldn't see her reflection yet. But when the wolf saw this…she wondered if she even wanted to look at herself. Her old habits. Her lack of confidence. Last night. That could all come bubbling back if she did that now.

She began stammering. "…I…I don't know if I…I mean—"

"Roxy," Gregory interrupted, "you know we don't want to hurt you anymore, right? If you don't want to look at yourself, it's fine, but we just wanted to let you know that this will be a new start for everyone. We'd love for you to see what we see."

"Remember, Roxy," Henry chimed in. "Unclouded eyes."

Unclouded eyes. The very idea of that scared her. The canine animatronic had always tried to put on a pair of rose-colored glasses before when it came to herself and her image. She tried to convince herself she was perfect and nothing needed improving. But when she lost her eyes that image came crashing down. She couldn't see at all, but let her newfound imperfections consume her. The possibility of returning to either of those mindsets made her sick…but what if she could learn from them? What if, now that she was fixed, she could use those experiences to face what she's dealing with now? Maybe this was actually an opportunity to learn to see clearer than ever. She could already tell that wasn't going to be easy, but…she had to try.

Roxy stood straight, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. Then she placed one hand across her face, covering her eyes.

"Just…put the mirror somewhere over there," she said anxiously. "I want to be ready when I look."

"…Okay," Vanessa sighed, and she propped the mirror against the doorway. She motioned for the other animatronics to step to the side. Once they did, Gregory lead Roxy to the mirror, by her free hand.

"This ought to be good," he said when he put her in a satisfactory position. "Just look when you feel like it, okay? No rush."

No rush for him, maybe, but for Roxy, there was no turning back. It was now or never. Time to rip off the band-aid. After just a few seconds, she removed her hand from her face, and when she finally saw her reflection, she gasped. Good as new? She looked way better than that!

She could see, of course, that her casing was completely restored. No signs of damage at all. Just back to her original look of tiger-print leg and arm warmers and a flame-print two piece. But it was the smaller details that she quickly took note of. Her eyes now had an almost realistic looking iris, making it seem like she was truly a living being. Indeed, her face as a whole seemed more expressive, and it even felt softer when she touched it. Her teeth even shined from the polish they seemed to have received. And her hair…why it almost looked organic. This new, soft hair was reapplied to her head and tail, and they both looked more amazing than she had ever seen them. All in all, Roxy never thought the wolf staring back at her could look so beautiful.

She stood there for a moment looking at her reflection, until she fell to her knees and began to cry into her hands again. That's when the others' excitement quickly turned to concern. Maybe they moved to quickly with that aspect after all. Freddy quickly knelt beside of his old friend.

"Roxy, I'm sorry," he said. "We truly did not mean to make you upset. I thought you might like to see how you look after everything, but maybe…"

But he trailed off when Roxy lifted her head towards him. Even though she was still crying, she had a huge smile on her face.

"I love it," she squeaked out. "I love it! Thank you all, so…so much."

The mood changed instantly. Everyone was smiling now. They'd done it. They've actually started to make a difference. And there was hope that they could keep doing it.

Gregory stepped up to Roxy first and wrapped his arms around her stomach.

"Glad we could help," he smirked.

She gave a little laugh and patted his head. Then Freddy came close, and they both wrapped their arms around each other.

"I missed you, big guy," Roxy said softly.

"…I missed you, too," the bear responded.

At last, after all the mix-ups and disappointments Freddy had seen in the last month, the last week even, something went right for him for once. He got his friend back, and he was extremely happy for that. Eventually, Vanessa and Fifi got in on the group hug as well. Every one of this band of misfits still had a long road ahead of them, and they knew it. But now, for the first time in a while, they all felt loved.

They all spent some more time in the basement assisting Roxy with getting recalibrated. Once they finally had her walking steadily, they led her upstairs. When they got up there, they gave the wolf some space to finally take in her surroundings. She had to say, Vanessa had a really nice house. Everyone was happy that she could see again after all of that, but the mood changed once they noticed the TV was on and playing on a news station.

"In other news, we've received word that Fazbear Entertainment CEO Josh Feldman was reported missing earlier this morning," the reporter on screen said. "Police were contacted by Fazbear Entertainment representatives after Feldman allegedly did not appear for work, and his wife confirmed that he did not come home the night before. Investigation is now ongoing, and both police and multiple news outlets are curious for more details that could have led to these events. However, Fazbear Entertainment personnel have refused to answer any questions at this time.

"This story developing just one month after the suspected arson attack on Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, what was set to be the children's entertainment giant's return to grace after several controversies. Concerned parents are now questioning the safety of their children at Fazbear Entertainment establishments and have been demanding that these issues be brought to light. Social media scrutiny about the company after this recent incident has been on the rise, but representatives still—"

That's when the TV was turned off. Everyone turned to see Vanessa holding the remote with a sour look on her face. She plopped down on the couch and put a hand on her head.

"The worst thing that could have happened to them, and they still want to avoid talking about it," she huffed.

Fifi cast down her eyes. "I hate this," she muttered. "This is the company that made me and told me they wanted to help kids grow, but they do things like this?"

Gregory walked up next to the mouse and put his good hand on her arm. "Don't worry," he said. "That's why we're doing this, remember? To make things better."

"What do you guys, mean?" Roxy asked. "What's going on?"

They all looked at her curiously.

"Didn't Afton tell you anything?" asked Vanessa.

The wolf stamped her foot. "I barely said five words to the guy! Baby was the one that watched me, and she wouldn't let me ask any questions."

The blonde widened her eyes in realization. That made a bit more sense. Freddy stepped up behind Roxy and put his hands on her shoulders.

"You may want to sit down," he said. "There is…much to talk about."

And much there was. The group spent the next hour telling Roxy about everything they knew so far. The things Fazbear Entertainment kept hidden from the public, the disgusting actions of its founder, and most importantly, who exactly her cohorts were when Afton had control of her. The wolf was never one to pay attention much when she was in trainings at the Pizzaplex, but she listened intently to everything that was said to her today. When her new friends had finally finished, she sat there on the couch dumbfounded, still trying to process everything she was just told.

"…Wow," she breathed, "…Okay. That was…a lot."

"I know," Vanessa said. "Probably the third time I've had to explain it all this week. Doesn't really get any easier."

Roxy laid her cheek on her hand. "You know, I was wondering why Baby kept calling him 'Daddy'. Definitely makes more sense now…but it's still really weird."

"Yeah, well…I've gotten used to it," said Gregory from the loveseat next to the couch. "Weird things just kind of…keep happening, you know."

The wolf sighed in exasperation. "I still wish I could've found out about all this sooner! I know I could've helped those kids that went missing at the Pizzaplex. Maybe I could've helped you, Freddy…or is it Michael now or…what?"

"Please, just keep calling me Freddy," he responded from the armchair next to her. "It will be easier that way. Besides, I've grown quite used to it."

"Like I said, Roxy," said Vanessa, placing a hand on her arm, "that kind of thing was out of your control, so don't worry about what you could have done then. But if you want to do something now…we definitely have a way you can help."

Roxy tilted her head curiously. "What do you mean?"

"We're trying to fix the mistakes this company has made over the years," the blonde explained, "and I think the best way to do that now is to find out what Afton's planning and put a stop to it. We've been going to the diner each night this week trying to find that out, and if what Henry said about you is true, you could help us a lot."

The wolf was clearly taken aback, "Wha…Me? But how?"

"Henry said your eyes have the capability to trace computer data," Vanessa continued. "Freddy still has your old ones, but he can't access that feature since they're not fully compatible to him. Henry just made you exact replicas of those eyes, though, so maybe you could use that feature to find the information we're looking for."

She may have been on to something. Roxy remembered looking at computers quite differently after getting that first set of eyes. It was almost as if every line of code was visible at once, even if the computer wasn't on. Maybe she could use that to help…but she was beginning to feel sick.

"Well…I mean…You're going back there? After everything that's happened?" she stammered. "Y-You don't know what they're capable of doing!"

"On the contrary, I do," Freddy said matter-of-factly. "I've just told you that this psychopath we're dealing with is my father. I've seen everything he is willing to do to keep his secrets."

"Well, why would you go back knowing that, then?!" Roxy continued. "People have already gotten hurt! Nothing good can come out of that place!"

"Hey, it hasn't been all bad!" said Gregory. "If we hadn't gone there in the first place, we would never have found Fifi. And she's been awesome! Helping her was one of the things that made me want to give you another chance."

Fifi, who was next to Gregory on the loveseat, gave a timid grin at that comment.

"No, don't get me wrong, I appreciate that," Roxy continued, "but look at your arm! If that's the least of what could have been done, it…I don't even want to think about it. I don't want to see anyone else get hurt, Greg!"

The boy did a double-take at that last word. "Did you just call me 'Greg'?"

Roxy seemed to realize what she just said as well. "Y…Yeah," she stammered, "I just thought 'Gregory' seemed too formal…you know…since we're friends now…right?"

Gregory grinned and nodded. "Of course. 'Greg' is fine."

He thought about how close he had gotten to everyone in this room in such a short amount of time. He was never close to anyone after his parents died, so he wondered if this week could be the thing that changes his whole life.

"Anyway," the boy continued, "I knew what I was getting into when I decided to even go to the diner in the first place. If I get hurt while trying to make sure a ton of other kids don't get killed, so be it. If Afton wants me, I'm not going to make it easy for him."

Incensed at this, Roxy stood up. "But you're still putting yourself in danger!" she exclaimed in a panicked tone. "All of you are! I'm just starting to actually get to know all of you; I can't lose you now! None of you know what's gonna happen to us if we go back there! I don't even know that! I couldn't see that whole month I was in there, so for all I know there's some—some moving incinerator in there ready to burn everyone to a crisp! I don't know! I don't want to think about it! There'sabunchofpsychokillersafterusand—"

Vanessa stopped her by putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Roxy," she said calmly. "You don't have to come with us if you don't want to. The last thing we want for you now is to feel uncomfortable. We can manage on our own, no matter what happens."

The wolf cast her eyes down. "I know…and I do want to help I just…" She heaved a sigh. "Why do I keep doing this? It's not like I have much of a reputation to uphold anymore. Might as well just say it…I'm scared."

Everyone could hear tears beginning to creep in again at the last part, and when Fifi heard this, a sense of familiarity struck her. Maybe she and the high and mighty wolf weren't so different after all. She hopped off the loveseat and quickly stepped in front of Roxy.

"We're scared too," she said, "…but that's not gonna stop us."

The mouse gave a quick wink to Gregory, who just grinned. He also stood and walked to Roxy.

"No matter what happens, we'll stick with you," he said grabbing her hand. "Just be sure to stick with us, too. Okay?"

Roxy was clearly still apprehensive, but smiled as well. "I will," she said quietly, "…I don't want to be alone again."

"Don't worry," said Vanessa, hand still on the wolf's shoulder, "you won't be."

Roxy turned to see that Freddy was standing next to her as well. She breathed as she took everything in.

"So," she finally said, "what time do we leave?"

"The basement doors will open at 12:00 AM," said Freddy. "We will need to be ready before 11:30 tonight."

A/N And there we go. I have to say, this was at least a good chapter to get back in the swing of things after vacation. Had a lot of fun with that too, though, but I've been itching to get back to writing this. I may even have more time to as well, because I might be getting an earlier shift at work in a week or two. I don't know. Either way, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and are looking forward to the start of Night 4. It's going to be fun, so stay tuned. And as always make sure to leave a review if you can. See you soon.
